"And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth."

During a meeting with the press on the White House lawn on Tuesday, July 1, Donald Trump shared his perspective on why Elon Musk is not pleased with him."Now he's upset that he's losing his EV [electric vehicle] mandate. He's very upset about that. But you know, he could lose a lot more than that," he alleged about Musk's new business hurdle. "Elon can lose a lot more than that."
When a reporter asked Trump if he would consider trying to deport his former ally, he said, "We'll have to take a look. We might have to put DOGE on Elon. You know what DOGE is? The monster that might have to go back and eat Elon. Wouldn't that be terrible? He gets a lot of subsidies."
