According to Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, Kristi Noem was released from the hospital on Tuesday, June 17. McLaughlin told CBS News that Noem was taken to the hospital "out of an abundance of caution" and that she was "alert and recovering."
