Jon Stewart began the segment by joking that Donald Trump didn't only make the trip to Scotland to finalize his EU trade deal but also to put "an ocean's distance between himself and the [Jeffrey] Epstein scandal." The broadcast then cut to a clip of a reporter asking the Republican leader during his visit, "Mr. President, was part of the rush to get this deal done to knock the Jeffrey Epstein story out?" Stewart sarcastically said in response to the footage, "He's all like, 'How did you even hear about… I thought you guys just got Baywatch like three months ago? Doesn't anybody here have a question about this trade deal sinking both of our economies with tariffs?'" Trump replied to the question in part, "Those files were run by the worst s*** on Earth. If they had something, they would have released [it]. Now, they can easily put something in the files that's a phony." The camera then cut back to Stewart, who said, "It's simple. 'If I, Donald Trump, was in the files, they would have released it. So clearly, I'm not in the files. But of course, I'm clearly in the files, which makes them phony.'"

Donald Trump also said of his alleged friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, "I never had the privilege of going to his island, and I did turn it down." Jon Stewart appeared baffled by the response. "The privilege? The f***?" the host exclaimed. He then played out a pretend conversation between the two men. "'Hey Donald, you want to go to the island this weekend?' 'Well, first of all, Jeffrey, thank you for thinking of me. Unfortunately, that's the weekend that the teen pageant that I bought is installing the indoor security locker room cameras.'"

Jon Stewart also slammed Donald Trump for allegedly contributing a scandalous note and illustration to a gift for Jeffrey Epstein's 50th birthday in 2003 — a claim that the right-wing politician has denied. "Every line in that card sounds like the password you have to use to get into the [s** party] in Eyes Wide Shut," he said. "How much must it have sucked to be the next guy in the office that had to sign that Epstein birthday card — 'You want me to just… You want me to sign it right by the p**** hair, or just by the little t******?'"
