During Joe Biden's first speech since leaving the presidency, the Democrat didn't hesitate to criticize Donald Trump's approach to the Oval Office.However, things became awkward after Biden used the term "colored" while discussing segregation.

"Nobody's king, nobody's the boss, everyone has a shot," Biden warned a Chicago audience on Tuesday, April 15.Biden later claimed that Donald Trump has "no heart."
"Fewer than 100 days into this new administration, they have done so much damage and destruction," Biden continued. "It is kind of breathtaking it could happen that soon. They've taken a hatchet to the Social Security Administration, pushing out 7,000 employees, including the most seasoned officials."

While Joe Biden hoped to warn voters about authoritarianism, things went wrong once he reflected on his childhood."I'd never seen — hardly any Black people in Scranton [in Pennsylvania] at the time, and I was only going in fourth grade," Biden recalled. "I remember seeing the kids going by — at the time called 'colored kids' — on a bus going by."
"I wondered why, asked my mom why," Biden continued. "'Son, in Delaware, they're not allowed to go to public school with white kids, honey.' That sparked my sense of outrage as a kid."

Donald Trump, who has his own history of being accused of racial insensitivity, shared an edited version of the clip just capturing Joe Biden using the dated term.MAGA fans quickly reacted to the former senator's comment.
"Go back into hiding pal," one X user wrote.
"You know the left is cooked when they bring this guy to speak, they are desperate and wonder why they lose," another noted.

Political commentator Nick Sortor was annoyed with Joe Biden's verbiage."Joe Biden is spending his first speech since leaving office saying he didn't have to grow up around Black people," Sortor wrote on X.
"'I remember watching a bus go by… it was full of colored kids… I had never seen those.' The face of the Democrat party," he added.

Journalist Jonathan Allen pointed out how unsavory Joe Biden's word choice was during an appearance on The Source with Kaitlan Collins.
"He used the term 'colored kids,' which, aside from being totally inappropriate, also puts him in an entirely other generation," Allen told CNN's Kaitlan Collins.
"None of us grew up with anybody saying anything like that," Allen continued. "He's going after Trump, but I don't think he's going after Trump effectively."
