Before losing her Duchess of York title, Sarah Ferguson hinted that she wanted to secure a tell-all deal with Netflix.
"I think I'm a devourer of information on Netflix. And I love watching everything on Netflix," Ferguson told
The Telegraph in 2023. "I also think that one day I'd like to do a documentary."

Sarah Ferguson was asked if she would create a project similar to
Prince Harry's
Harry & Meghan.
"I don't know. I can't be led," the author replied.

There were rumors that Netflix was developing a series based on Sarah Ferguson's books, but insiders claimed her email calling Jeffrey Epstein a "supreme friend" put a stop to it.
"For Sarah to be linked to this scandal at this time for the U.S. is just toxic news for the project. It will never see the light of day," a source told
The Mirror.

After the news broke that Sarah Ferguson emailed Jeffrey Epstein, who was in prison at the time, various organizations cut ties with her.
According to
PBS, a nonprofit said "it would be inappropriate for her to continue as a patron of the charity."
