Justin Bieber is 'conflicted and confused' as Selena Gomez continues getting help for anxiety, depression

As he adjusts to a lifelong commitment to Hailey Baldwin, Justin Bieber is still struggling with the fact that his ex, Selena Gomez, has returned to a treatment center for help with her anxiety and depression. An insider tells E! News Justin "feels bad" about the situation and is "conflicted and confused" right now since he and Selena had "bonded over" their "emotional issues" over the course of their long, on-off relationship. The pair seemed to have been on track to get back together last fall after having called it quits in 2014. They slowed things down in March, though, and soon, Justin was reconnecting with — and then proposing to Hailey. A second source told E! last week that Justin felt "guilty" and "upset," as "truly wants Selena to be happy." On the bright side, she may be heading in that direction. The singer is reportedly "already feeling better" than she was when she suffered what the second source referred to as "an emotional breakdown" following two Lupus-related hospitalizations. "Depression is something she's always struggled with," the insider explained, "but whenever it gets really bad for Selena, she removes herself from social media and withdraws from people who aren't a handful of the people she trusts."

Kanye West is making good on his promise to record his new album in Africa, having arrived in Uganda with Kim Kardashian West shortly after his blustery visit to Washington, D.C., and the White House. This week, the rapper met with Uganda President Yoweri Museveni to discuss the promotion of Ugandan "tourism and the arts," according to a social media post by President Museveni. Kim joined her husband at the meeting, where sources tell Page Six 'Ye suggested Uganda become more like "Jurassic Park." It's unclear if Kanye's vision involves a dinosaur apocalypse. It does, however, involve a plan for the rapper to build a tourism and hospitality school, according to Page Six's sources. "We're not here to take a photograph and look like we're doing something positive. I'm here to be here and work with you," Kanye told the president, according to CBS. "This is going to be like Jurassic Park. Disney World," he continued. After the president replied, "Yes, I see on TNT," Kanye explained that he had been moved by the safari (he's reportedly set up shop at Chobe Safari Lodge to record). "When I saw the safari, I was thinking this is how all zoos should be," he mused. He then made a "Black Panther" movie reference: "I see bringing the best talents in every field and every industry. Because of course there's tourism and I'd like to know what are the other industries you'd like to build and have a discussion about what would make the country the most thriving, to be like a Wakanda." It seems the Museveni meeting also featured some more personal chatter, including a moment in which Kanye reportedly said he wants to have seven children with Kim. Page Six reports the reality star "politely disagreed" with this idea. Finally, 'Ye gave his new prez pal some Yeezys. Because what president can't use some new kicks? "I held fruitful discussions with the duo on how to promote Uganda's tourism and the arts," Museveni later tweeted, adding, "I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers" and telling Kanye and Kim to "enjoy [their] time in Uganda."

Now that's true love! In September, Will Smith recently bungee jumped out of a helicopter over the Grand Canyon for his 50th birthday. Turns out he had one more birthday wish — and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, made it come true. "He said this is my birthday gift to him. He was like, 'I want you to come to Dubai and I want to see the two of you skydive That is what I want for my birthday,'" she recently told People. "I was like, 'Really bro?' I haven't done a damn thing Will has wanted me to do in seven years!" That changed on Monday, Oct. 15, when Jada casually mentioned on Instagram, "Oh … by the way … I jumped out of a plane today." Before the big jump, the actress told People she expected to, "be really pissed off at [Will] going up in the airplane and seconds before I'm thrown out of the plane, I'm going to be so freaking mad at him and then I'm going to be so happy when I hit the ground." She said she did it because she felt it was time to change things up as far as her reactions to his ideas. "I'm not really adventurous in that way and he has been having his adventures and I told him, 'These are the years — you're turning 50, so this is the year of yes for me to you because I'm always telling you no,' so this one year is a yes," she explained. Last month, Will live-streamed his jump in order to raise awareness about and donations for the Global Citizen education campaigns, according to People.

That's how Alyssa Milano summed up her reasons for going public with a video she made for her daughter, Elizabella, in which she opens up about having been sexually assaulted and how hard she intends to fight to protect her daughter from going through what she has. Recorded from her trailer in Atlanta nine months ago and posted on Twitter this week, the video shows Alyssa telling her daughter how her tweet invoking Tarana Burke's "me too" campaign helped open the floodgates for sexual assault survivors to tell their stories. "Donald Trump is our president, crazy, and more importantly than that, women everywhere are sharing their stories of sexual harassment and assault, and they're saying phrases like, 'Me too' and 'Time's up,'" Alyssa says in the video, excerpted by People. "I don't expect you to understand this obviously right now because you're a baby," she adds, before continuing. "One night when I was lying in bed with you, I looked down at you and your sweet, beautiful face, and I got really scared. I got scared for you, and I sent out a tweet asking for women to stand in solidarity, and a lot of people replied. So in a way I wanted to make this video for you because in a way all of this is because of you, because you gave Mama the strength," she says. "I wanted to thank you, really, and also let you know that I want you to grow up from a strong little girl into a strong woman that knows, really knows her worth and that is valued for her brain and her beautiful, big heart and her sweet, sweet soul and her talents and not for her body." As the actress visibly teared up she ended the video by assuring her daughter that she and others like her are fighting for a world where survivors are listened to and believed, echoing sentiments she shared while protesting Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court confirmation. "And I want you to know that also I'm working very hard, a lot of women are working very hard to make sure that silence is not the norm for your generation and that you will never … have to say 'Me too,'" she told her daughter with tears in her eyes. "But if you do, god forbid, if you do have to ever say 'Me too,' I want you to know that you will be heard and that you should speak your truth and that Mama's always here for you. …" she added. "I love you very much, and I'll keep fighting." Speaking at Sen. Susan Collins' office earlier this month, Alyssa told other survivors how she'd been assaulted at age 19 during a concert.

Tara Reid removed from plane after complaints about seat, pillow

Tara Reid was hit with another report of odd behavior this week after she reportedly "created a disturbance" on Delta Flight 613 from Los Angeles to New York on Monday, Oct. 15. Speaking to TMZ, witnesses said she initially "complained loudly" that she'd been given the wrong seat before getting ornery about not being given a pillow. Flight attendants' efforts to calm her down were apparently futile, leading the pilot to tell the plane he was turning it around and going back to the gate "because of a customer service issue." The "Sharknado" star was reportedly asked to leave the plane with her dog, which she did. Tara later told TMZ she was not given the window seat she expected and the woman in front of her had pushed her chair back all the way into Tara, cramping her. She ultimately got another flight. The website reports passengers on her previous flight only experienced a "short delay." Back in August, some expressed concern for Tara's wellbeing after she slurred her words during an interview, then cut her "Sharknado" press tour short with a tweet saying she had back pain that prevented her from continuing it. She later said she hadn't posted the tweet.

Kaia Gerber reveals second tattoo days after showing off her first

Somebody's got the tattoo bug … A few days ago, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber's 17-year-old daughter, Kaia Gerber, revealed she'd gotten what appeared to be her first tattoo — the word "Jordan" (her middle name) written in cursive on her arm. Seems that's not the only ink the runway model's sporting these days. This week, People noticed an Instagram Stories post from Kaia that showed what looked to be the bottom half of a very tiny rocket ship taking off on the inside of her thigh beneath a paint palette. Kaia's brother, Presley Gerber, seems to have been involved in piquing her interest in body art. She used his go-to tattoo artist, Rafael Valdez, for at least one of the tats. It probably doesn't hurt that one of Presley's most recent pieces of body art was his sister's name, which he now wears proudly on his arm.

That doesn't mean she's immune to the kinds of insecurities that plague the rest of us, though. In the new issue of Vogue, the model and mother of two explains: "Much stronger people are like, 'I don't care what you think.' I genuinely do care … I think it's funny when people are like, 'I love how you just don't give a f—.' I'm like, 'Oh my god, I give so many f—-. I just want to be liked.'" As her husband, john Legend told the magazine, Chrissy's "candor is what's so appealing" — that, and her sense of humor. Says John: "She tells it like it is."

In a new essay for The Cut, Nicole Kidman reveals a different side to what women in Hollywood experience than what's been focused on so much amid the #MeToo and Time's Up movements. While she's "had #MeToo moments" since childhood, Nicole says her marriage to Tom Cruise put her on safer footing than some of her peers. "Being married to Tom Cruise at 22 is something I'm always reluctant to talk about, because I'm married now to the man who is my great love [Keith Urban], and it almost feels disrespectful," she writes. "That said, I got married very young, but it definitely wasn't power for me — it was protection … I married for love, but being married to an extremely powerful man kept me from being sexually harassed. I would work, but I was still very much cocooned. So when I came out of it at 32, 33, it's almost like I had to grow up." Nicole is currently working on a new film in which she plays Gretchen Carlson, whose sexual harassment lawsuit against former Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes. He ducked out of the company after her suit resulted in a wave of headlines, a massive settlement and an apology from the network.
