Did Megyn Kelly take her Jane Fonda attack too far?
After she attacked Jane Fonda on the air for criticizing her, will Megyn Kelly have trouble booking other celebs for "Megyn Kelly Today"? Some of NBC's higher echelon names are afraid she will, according to the New York Post, which reports network execs were "stunned" by Megyn's rant. Megyn went after Jane recently after a jokey exchange between the veteran actress and her "Grace and Frankie" costar Lily Tomlin during a chat on "Today" with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie. At the time, Lily teased Jane about having had had a facelift at one point, to which Jane replied, "who are you, Megyn Kelly?" It was a reference to a previous interview Megyn had done with Jane in which Megyn pressed for more info about Jane's plastic surgery history than she did for details about her new film, "Our Souls at Night." In response to Jane and Lily's lighthearted mention of the incident, Megyn announced on the air she felt it was "time to address [Jane's] 'poor me' routine." She then denounced Jane for more than three minutes, insinuating that her anti-Vietnam War protests were unpatriotic and pointing to the infamous "Hanoi Jane" moment. "By the way, [Jane] still says she's 'not proud' of America," Megyn said. "So the moral indignation is a little much." Some folks think Megyn's rant was a little much, too. On "The View," Joy Behar griped, "To drag the Vietnam War into a plastic-surgery conversation is a real stretch, Megyn." Speaking to the Post, an insider explained: "The problem is that nobody at NBC is controlling Megyn. They paid her more than $20 million to host the 9 a.m. show, and she's been given too much power. But the fact remains: You can't say those things, or be so aggressive, on morning TV. Plus, Megyn was already having trouble booking celebrities — so how is she ever going to book other stars if they disagree and she goes on air later and trashes them?" According to the Post, Debra Messing has said she regrets promoting "Will & Grace" via an interview with Megyn. More than one publicist has apparently also told the Post "they are disinclined" to send clients to her hour of "Today." A spokesperson for "Today" declined to comment.
Kendall Jenner cheers on Blake Griffin after split rumors
There's a face you won't see Kendall Jenner making in the next issue of Vogue. The lanky, Galliano-clad supermodel popped up at the Staples Center on Wednesday, Jan. 24, to watch her rumored boyfriend Blake Griffin duke it out on the court. Unfortunately, it didn't go so well for his Los Angeles clippers, who lost 102 – 113 to the Boston Celtics — or for Blake, who got a technical foul, reportedly for tossing an F-bomb at a ref. The game marked the first time Kendall and Blake have been seen in the same place together in a while. In fact, the seeming distance between the two had some tabs suggesting they'd split. Blake's recent date-mode outing with another woman only added fuel to the rumors. A source told People in mid-January that "Blake and Kendall have been cooling off recently, but they're not officially broken up." Speaking to E! News, another source said the pair's relationship was "never serious" or exclusive.
Jennifer Hudson wants her ex to get a job
As Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga continue trying to work out custody and child support arrangements for their son, she wants a judge to dismiss her ex's claim she was in contempt of court when she spoke to People about their split. She also wants him to get a job. That's according to TheBlast, which reports the singer is expected to file a motion demanding David "seek employment" and "maintain a job diary." (The website notes that in addition to his WWE experience, David has a law degree from Harvard and previously worked at Columbia University's Cognitive Neuroscience Center, so finding a job shouldn't be too taxing.) Jennifer will reportedly present the motions to the judge handling her case rather than filing them publicly. She's also planning to ask that the case be sealed. The former couple announced they were calling time on their decade-long marriage in November of last year.

Oprah Winfrey: 'I don't have the DNA' for the presidency
Neither the buzz around Oprah Winfrey's moving Golden Globes speech nor the clamoring it created for her would-be White House bid has dimmed much since early January. Unfortunately, we'll have to make due with the wisdom Oprah imparts at awards shows and in interviews like her latest cover story for InStyle, though, because she assures the magazine she's not 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. material. "I've always felt very secure and confident with myself in knowing what I could do and what I could not. And so it's not something that interests me. I don't have the DNA for it," Oprah tells the mag. She goes on to explain that her "calling" is having the kinds of conversations with others and "exploring the depths of our human experience," which her recent work on "60 Minutes" has allowed her to do. That kind of depth also might explain her take on the kneejerk, social media response to the seemingly endless storm of change and division the world is experiencing lately. Asked how she stays on top of it all, Oprah says: "I try not to lean into the hysteria. I've heard a lot of Twitter chatter where people have said, 'Where are you? You should be speaking up on these things!' But it makes no sense to speak when you cannot be heard. One hundred and forty characters — that is not how you want to make your mark in the world." As for the new world that seems to be surfacing in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, the "Wrinkle in Time" star points out the former producer's behavior is nothing new, but the empowerment to speak out "has seared into the consciousness a level of awareness that was not there before." Finally, Oprah reflects on life in her 60s: "You take no s—. None. Not a bit. In your 40s you want to say you take no shit, but you still do. In your 60s you take none," she says. "There's both a quickening and a calming — there's a sense that you don't have as much time on earth as you once did … People coming with anything less than what is the truth or authentic? Don't even try."
Jessica Chastain fought to get Octavia Spencer a raise on new comedy
Jessica Chastain is being pro-active when it comes to getting women in Hollywood fair wages. At a panel at the Sundance Film Festival this week, Jada praised Jessica for fighting for a pay boost for Octavia Spencer in a forthcoming project. "Jessica stood up for Octavia and I want you to know because they stood together, they got three times what they were asking for as a unit," Jada told the crowd, according to the New York Post. "It's nice to go out and march, we can do that. It's nice to wear black at the Golden Globes. But what are we doing behind closed doors? And I got to give our sister Jessica Chastain her props."
Paul Haggis files motion to dismiss sexual assault suit
Amid multiple allegations of rape and sexual misconduct — and concerns about the Church of Scientology's possible role in those allegations — Paul Haggis maintains he's innocent and continues to fight his accusers in court. This week, the New York Post reported he filed a motion to dismiss the lawsuit a publicist brought against him in December in which she claimed he raped her after a premiere in 2013. (Rolling Stone reports Paul has already filed a countersuit against the woman, whom he claims offered not to file her suit if he forked over $9 million.) In the new motion, Paul's lawyer says the publicist has failed to show "precisely how she was allegedly forced" into having sex with him. "In this day and age, media reports can castigate a person and destroy his or her life and reputation on the sole basis of a single unproven accusation of sexual impropriety …," the motion reads. "The only place where a person wrongly accused can put his or her trust is in the judicial system." The publicist's lawyer tossed off the motion, telling the Post it was "just another desperate attempt to prevent us from getting to the truth."

Don Johnson jokes that Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin's rumored romance is 'troubling'
If Don Johnson's concerned about his daughter's relationship with a certain rock star, he's being coy about it. The "Miami Vice" alum was in London this week to appear as a presenter on the National Television Awards when Digital Spy caught up with him and asked about Dakota Johnson's rumored romance with Chris Martin. "Yeah, that's … uh troubling, isn't it?" Don joked, teasing the reporter. "No, she's a big girl," he added. "She can handle herself." Romance rumors first hit Dakota, 28, and Chris, 40, in October, when they were spotted dining together in Los Angeles. In December, the two reportedly traveled to Paris together on vacation. A source recently told ET: "His friends already love her and see how happy she makes him."
Chris Pratt gets nostalgic for his farm and son in sweet Instagram post
After taking what he called a "much needed hiatus" from social media, Chris Pratt is back on Instagram — and so are his farm animals. The latest of a handful of new posts shows a man — presumably Chris — tending to his herd as Jack, the son he shares with his ex, Anna Faris, runs behind him. "Livin' that #farmlife 🙏♥️👍🏼 Missing home, missing the farm, missing the boy, missing the island, So I'm sharing this video as a way to express my gratitude for all the blessings in my life and to entice any of you watching this who may feel unease or anxiety with the state of our world to just breathe, slow down, go outside, find something not man made and give it a good look," he captioned the post. "A leaf. A bug. A cloud. A sheep," he continued. "As William Cullen Bryant says, 'Seek communion with her visible form….go forth under the open sky and list to nature's teachings.' What a beautiful creation over which we've been given the responsibility of stewardship." Before signing off, Chris gave a shoutout to the music he had playing in the background. "The song is 'Chain Breaker' by Zach Williams," he wrote. "I didn't get his permission to use it. Hope that's alright. 😬🤷♂️🙏♥️ Big fan Zach. Please don't sue me for all my sheep."
Khloe Kardashian talks pregnancy cravings
Like most pregnant women, there are things Khloe Kardashian suddenly finds she's dying to eat and when that feeling hits, she doesn't let fear of losing her amazing, pre-pregnancy body get in the way. "Of course I have cravings and I give in to them!" Khloe wrote in a new post on her app on Wednesday, Jan. 24. "But, as always, I do everything in moderation. In general, I'm not someone who wants to eat an entire box of cookies. I just don't eat like that. But, if I'm craving something, I make sure I give it to myself." Khloe, who's expecting her first child with Tristan Thompson has shared a handful of posts about diet and fitness since she went public with her baby news. Earlier this month, she detailed her workout routine, which these days involves 30 minutes on the stair climber, circuit training, shoulder raises and squats, pushups, pullups, battle ropes and chest presses, squats, planks and more. "During my pregnancy, I'm obviously not beating myself up about what I'm eating at all. I'm more encouraged by how, after the baby comes, I'm going to work off every pound. I'm actually really excited to get my body back. I can't wait!" Khloe wrote this week. She added that she misses things like the energy drinks she used to gulp down before hitting the gym, noting that overall, she's enjoying the challenge: "I'm proud of myself for staying so mentally strong right now!"
