Princess Anne was seen at the state banquet wearing the Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara, which was a subtle nod to her maternal grandmother, Queen Mother.Anne wore the accessory with a pale gold gown, a blue sash and a matching brooch and earrings.

King George VI had the tiara made for the Queen Mother as a gift, and the late royal passed down the headpiece to Princess Anne for her first wedding.The tiara is a part of the royal vault and featured at The Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Princess Anne wasn't the only royal who chose to pay homage during the state banquet, as Kate Middleton wore the lover's knot tiara.The item, which was once worn by Princess Diana, was initially owned by Queen Mary.
