With Ozempic — the diabetes medication that doubles as a quick weight-loss aid — dominating headlines, it's only natural that some of our favorite stars have weighed in on the drug. We're rounding up all the celebrities who've denied taking the medication, starting with this blonde beauty…
On the Aug. 1, 2023, episode of "Watch What Happens Live," Erika Jayne denied that Ozempic was behind her recent slim-down and insisted that menopause was the reason for her noticeable weight loss. After host Andy Cohen told the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star that she looked like a "whisper of herself," Erika replied, "Yes, I did come down in weight, and I did it hormonally." The response prompted Andy to fire back, "Not Ozempic-ally?" Claimed Erika, who turned 52 in July 2023, "I was going through menopause. So I took it all down."
When fellow guest Jackie Hoffman expressed doubt that anyone loses weight when they go through menopause, Erika again insisted she did, saying, "I went to the doctor and I said get it off me."
During an interview with "Extra" following the late August 2023 debut of her "Bet It All On Blonde" Las Vegas residency show, Erika doubled down on her defense: "My answer stands then and it stands now," she said. "I've always been tiny. I got bigger during all of my depression and through everything else. There's nothing like putting on a show and a little bit of stress … to get you right back into shape." … Sure, if you say so, Erika!

After following her life for the last 13 years on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," fans were stunned to see Kyle Richards slim down significantly in recent months. In January 2023, when followers suggested she was on Ozempic as Page Six reposted some of her slim bikini snaps on Instagram, Kyle fired back in the comment section, responding, "I am NOT taking Ozempic. Never have." When another commenter said it was likely plastic surgery, Kyle got defensive, writing, "I have never tried Ozempic and this is not from plastic surgery. I did have a breast reduction in May. I'm honest about what I do. But if giving plastic surgery the credit makes you feel better, then pop off, sister."
Despite Kyle's denial, stars like Jeff Lewis continued to fuel speculation — even if it was meant in jest. On an August 2023 episode of "Watch What Happens Live," the famed interior designer from Bravo's "Flipping Out" quipped that Kyle's a "lesbian on Ozempic" — a reference to unsubstantiated claims that Kyle was dating female country singer Morgan Wade amid the "RHOBH" star's separation from husband Mauricio Umansky, which she's denied.

Jessica Simpson showed off a much slimmer figure in 2023, leading fans to speculate it was due to Ozempic. The former pop star addressed the rumors during a July interview with Bustle, insisting, "Oh, Lord. I mean, it is not [Ozempic], it's willpower. I'm like, do people want me to be drinking again? Because that's when I was heavier. Or they want me to be having another baby? My body can't do it… Am I going to let the negativity derail me? No, I'm too old for that. I am too connected to myself right now to let that derail me. It doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt."

Though she claims she was offered the drug just weeks after giving birth to her second daughter, Meghan McCain has shut down allegations she'd take Ozempic. She wrote an op-ed for DailyMail.com in which she shared, "I was even offered a black market freebie by someone with 'extra shots at home.' … Let me make one thing very clear. I'm not taking it. I refuse. There's a clear moral issue here. It's hard to take a drug because swimsuit season is around the corner, while others need it to stay alive. And how can this be healthy?"

But when a fan accused her in her Instagram comments of using Ozempic to drop pounds, the star responded, "It's actually the .5 zoom on the iPhone camera lol".

Julia denied using the diabetes medication, revealing, "All these people are coming for me saying that I take the weight loss things … people are saying that I'm taking Ozempic or whatever it's called… I'm not and I never have … I would never do that. There are diabetics that need it."

Khloe Kardashian often makes headlines for her appearance, so it was only a matter of time before rumors swirled that her weight loss might be the result of using Ozempic. The reality star opted to put a stop to the rumors in January 2023, responding to an Instagram comment with a denial that read, "Let's not discredit my years of working out. I get up 5 days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions. I guess new year still means mean people."

Viewers have seen "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Jackie Goldschneider's eating disorder battle firsthand, so it was only natural for the reality star to weigh in on the weight loss trend taking the Bravo world by storm. Jackie shared with Page Six, "A lot of people in the 'Housewives' world are on Ozempic. A lot of my friends are in the 'Housewives' world, so it was tough for me to come back and suddenly no one's eating when we go out to dinner… I'm horrified by it. I'm not so much horrified by people wanting to lose weight — that has always been a universal thing — but I'm very very scared of what will happen if and when people have to go off this drug."

In April 2023, Keke Palmer weighed in on the Ozempic craze. While speaking to People magazine, she shared, "Sounds like it's a slay honey, 'cause girls have been out here killin' it with it, but for me, I would say 'Nay' because I always feel like when something sounds too good to be true — it usually is… It might do something and then next thing you know, I've got something growing, you know, under my armpits, like I don't know where… where you pushing this fat at, where you taking, where you pulling from — I don't want any side effects, so — but the girls are killin' it."

After viewers saw Alexia Nepola and co-star Marysol Patton receiving a mysterious shot at a doctor's office on "The Real Housewives of Miami," it was only natural that they came to the conclusion that the Bravo stars had joined the legions of "Housewives" stars taking the drug. But Alexia shut down the Ozempic speculation in March 2023, telling Page Six they were vitamin B12 shots. "It's for energy, and it has, like, other nutrients," she said.

Since it appears "Real Housewives" have an affinity for Ozempic, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Garcelle Beauvais was also accused of using the medication. The reality star took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to fire off a response, writing, "Don't even start with that Ozempic thing I'm not playing with that!!!"
