According to Nielsen Ratings, MSNBC lost 47 percent of its viewers after the election and before the inauguration.
Data also revealed Morning Joe took a dive in viewership after hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski met with Trump after his election win.
Due to the duo's public spat with Trump, many fans viewed it as the journalists acquiescing to the president.
Even though the morning show noticed a dip, they've slowly been able to regain viewership.
Morning Joe saw a 17 percent boost in followership following Trump's inauguration.

Another MSNBC star that was affected by the shift was Joy Reid, but her final episode surprisingly broke records for the platform.
According to TV Insider, The ReidOut's finale was the most-watched show of the day amongst the 25-54 year old demographics, as it reached a total of 1.69 million viewers.

Reid's exit from the network came as a shock to both fans and the host.
"I've been through every emotion from, you know, anger, rage, disappointment … guilt … that I let my team lose their jobs," Reid said while appearing on the "Win With Black Women" podcast.

Reid was a vocal critic of Trump amid the rising popularity of conservative values.
Due to her disapproval of him, Trump celebrated the news on Truth Social.
"Lowlife Chairman of 'Concast,' Brian Roberts, the owner of Ratings Challenged NBC and MSDNC, has finally gotten the nerve up to fire one of the least talented people in television, the mentally obnoxious racist, Joy Reid," Trump told his followers.
"Based on her ratings, which were virtually non-existent, she should have been 'canned' long ago, along with everyone else who works there," the real estate tycoon claimed.

Reid built a reputation for advocating for diversity, equity — topics the Trump administration has taken a harsh stance against.
"I'm not sorry. I am not sorry that I stood up for those things," Reid said on the podcast.

Reid made a name for herself at MSNBC after joining in 2015. The curtain closing on The ReidOut could be reflective of the times, as the conservative network Fox News continues to outperform MSNBC.
"But in the end, where I really land … is just gratitude. Just pure gratitude and gratitude," Reid declared. "Not just because people would take the time to get on a call like this or to take care of me. But also that my show had value."
