During the tour, President Donald Trump commented that the renovation costs had ballooned, saying the project's budget rose "a little bit, or a lot," jumping from $2.7 billion to $3.1 billion. However, Fed Chair Jerome Powell quickly disagreed. Shaking his head, he interrupted, saying, "I'm not aware of that, Mr. President. I haven't heard that from anybody at the Fed."

In response, President Donald Trump pulled out a piece of paper from his jacket pocket and handed it to Jerome Powell. "It just came out," he claimed. Powell glanced at the paper and replied, "You're including the Martin renovation. You just added a third building." Trump pushed back, saying, "Well, I know, but it's a building that's being built." Powell corrected him, saying, "No, it was built five years ago. We finished Martin five years ago." The president ended their exchange by saying, "It's part of the overall work."

Following their awkward tour, President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to celebrate the building's construction and throw in one final jab. "It was a Great Honor to tour the Renovation (and some new Construction!) of the Federal Reserve Building with Chairman Jerome Powell, Senator Tim Scott, and others," Trump wrote. "It's got a long way to go, would have been much better if it were never started, but it is what it is and, hopefully, it will be finished ASAP." He ended the post, writing, "Let's just get it finished and, even more importantly, LOWER INTEREST RATES!"

According to TheWrap, Jeffrey Epstein's co-conspirator and girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, wanted to include many high-profile names in his 50th birthday present: a book featuring hand-written letters from stars in Hollywood, Washington and beyond. The gift reportedly included messages from Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, businessman Leon Black, fashion designer Vera Wang, media magnate Mort Zuckerman and Bath & Body Works co-founder Leslie Wexner.

Bill Clinton was photographed with Jeffrey Epstein in 1993 when the financier and partner Ghislaine Maxwell visited the White House. While Clinton's team previously confirmed the former president traveled on Epstein's plane four times, they clarified that it was with Secret Service and for the Clinton Foundation. According to his team, Clinton cut ties with Epstein more than a decade before he was arrested in 2019. "It's reassuring, isn't it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible word], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends," Clinton reportedly wrote in a 50th birthday message to Epstein.

The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Donald Trump wrote a celebratory message in the journal that included a hand-drawn outline of a woman sans clothing. "A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret," Trump allegedly wrote.

Donald Trump responded to the report by suing The Wall Street Journal's publisher, Dow Jones, and its parent company, News Corp. Trump claimed the note is "nonexistent" and a "fake thing." A spokesperson for the publisher said, "We have full confidence in the rigor and accuracy of our reporting, and will vigorously defend against any lawsuit."

Elizabeth Warren is leading the charge among political leaders speaking out against the merger. Taking to X, she laid out her concerns, claiming, "President Donald Trump's government just approved Paramount's merger with Skydance. Sure looks like they paid Donald Trump $36 million for this merger. … Bribery is illegal no matter who is president." Warren went on to suggest the deal may involve "corruption," citing a series of reasons behind her claim.

Elizabeth Warren began by pointing to the recent cancellation of Stephen Colbert's show. "Maybe you saw that Stephen Colbert's show was canceled last week. Well, just three days before it was canceled, Colbert called out President Donald Trump and Paramount, which is CBS's parent company, for making a deal that looks like a quote, 'big fat bribe.' Those were his words. … Trump filed a sham lawsuit against CBS, but instead of fighting it, CBS's parent company Paramount paid Trump $16 million to his future presidential library. So you got to ask, why'd Paramount do that if the suit was quote, 'meritless?' Well, maybe because they needed Trump to approve their multi-billion dollar merger, which Trump just did."

Beyond the alleged bribery, Elizabeth Warren argued the merger is simply bad for consumers — potentially driving up the cost of streaming TV, movies and sports content. Wrapping up her statement, she called for immediate action. "I'm calling for an urgent independent investigation into this Paramount deal to see if this was actually bribery. And make no mistake, these CEOs may think that they can get away with anything they want, but they are not immune from the law. Bribery is still illegal." Leaving with one final warning, she claimed, "None of us can stay silent about this — because you better believe Donald Trump isn't stopping here."

Colbert said on The Late Show that the ongoing curiosity surrounding Epstein is "costing Trump a lot of allies." Jacob Angeli Chansley became one of the most recognizable faces of the January 6 Capitol attack due to viral images of him in a fur hat with Viking horns and red, white and blue face paint as he stormed the building. Once a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, Chansley now appears to have completely reversed his stance. "Oh yeah [and] F*** Israel! And F*** Donald Trump!" he recently wrote on X.

Jacob Angeli Chansley continued his tirade, taking direct aim at President Donald Trump. Commenting under a photo of Trump's mugshot, he wrote, "F*** this stupid piece of s*** … What a fraud," according to Faketriots Watch. He then shifted focus to actor and Trump supporter James Woods, questioning his past and political loyalties. "Did you go to Jeffrey Epstein Island too, James? Cuz I am beginning to look closer… Didn't your house survive the L.A. fires too? According to officials from the Clearwater Fire Department and Clearwater Police Department, a 911 call was placed from Hulk Hogan's Florida home on the day of his death. In photos from the scene, yellow police tape can be seen blocking off the property as authorities keep onlookers and fans at a distance from the residence.

"The nature of the call was for a cardiac arrest," said a spokesperson for the Clearwater Police Department. "A 71-year-old resident, Terry Bollea, also known as Hulk Hogan, was treated by Clearwater Fire [and] Rescue crews before being taken by Sunstar to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased."

In the weeks leading up to Hulk Hogan's death, close friend Jimmy Hart said he appeared to be in good health. Just days before his passing, they had reportedly gone out for karaoke with friends and family. However, concerns about Hogan's health had surfaced months earlier. In May, he underwent a neck surgery that his reps described as a "minor fusion procedure" to help him "feel a little better."

The surgery followed Hulk Hogan's appearance on Fox & Friends, where he promoted his new wrestling venture, Real American Freestyle. During the interview, fans noted he appeared noticeably frail and raised questions about his overall well-being. Wearing a shirt that read "America First, Beer Second," Hogan told viewers his new league would bring back "real, unscripted freestyle wrestling."

Untamed is trending on social media, where viewers are sharing their live reactions to the miniseries. "A character-driven mystery-thriller that follows Kyle Turner (played by Eric Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature's vast wilderness," the show's description reads. "The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past."

On X, fans quickly shared how in awe they were of the program, which also stars Jurassic Park alum Sam Neill. "New @Netflix show Untamed has one of the best, most attention-grabbing opening scenes I've seen in any TV show in a long, long time," one user wrote. "Immediately hooked. Highly recommended." South Park depicted Donald Trump as a petty dictator who was in a romantic partnership with Satan.

"The Left's hypocrisy truly has no end — for years they have come after South Park for what they labeled as 'offense' [sic] content, but suddenly they are praising the show," White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers said in a statement.

The White House shamed leftists in their response.

"Just like the creators of South Park, the Left has no authentic or original content, which is why their popularity continues to hit record lows," the statement read. "This show hasn't been relevant for over 20 years and is hanging on by a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt for attention."

Social media users were shocked by the South Park creators' willingness to publicly attack Donald Trump despite his public lawsuits.

"I didn't think South Park could shock me anymore, but putting Trump's face on Hussein's character is wild," one viewer wrote, as Satan's partner in the South Park series was previously Saddam Hussein.

"The decision to make Trump the new Saddam is a layered one," another wrote. "There's the easy takeaway of our president being a dictator, but bringing back Satan and separating Trump from Garrison are two moves that continues the trend of newer seasons emulating the early days of the show."

Hulk's Racism Scandal and More Wrestling Controversies

Hulk Hogan died at 71 on July 24, 2025. As fans mourned the WWE Hall of Famer, Wonderwall.com couldn't help but remember that his time in the spotlight wasn't all rainbows and butterflies… In 2015, the WWE fired the wrestling superstar after becoming aware of the existence of old recordings of him making racist remarks. "WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide," the organization said in a statement. The wrestler (née Terry Bollea) released a statement to People magazine apologizing: "Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it," he said. Three years later, Hogan made his big return to the WWE with the already-controversial Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. More on that later…

On the March 31, 2019, episode of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver delivered a headline-making takedown of the WWE. Throughout the episode, the British comedian detailed the allegedly horrible treatment professional wrestlers receive from the WWE and boss Vince McMahon — which the wrestling exec (pictured) has denied. His biggest gripe? That the WWE essentially forces their wrestlers to sign as independent contractors as opposed to full-time employees (making them ineligible for company-provided health care benefits, paid leave or pensions) and makes them sign exclusivity contracts barring them from wrestling for other organizations (meaning their ability to make money is limited to what they can squeeze out of the WWE). Oliver also pointed out that because there is no off-season in professional wrestling, it's incredibly difficult for wrestlers to recover from injuries — especially considering they can't always afford the best treatment options! The comedian argued that these factors have contributed to the recent wave of professional wrestlers dying young.

In May 1999, two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion Owen Hart died from injuries sustained while falling from the rafters of Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri, during the WWF's "Over the Edge" pay-per-view event. The fall took place as the Canadian wrestler was entering the ring as part of an elaborate stunt — he was being lowered from the rafters via cable and harness when the equipment somehow malfunctioned, triggering an early release that dropped him prematurely to the floor. At-home viewers were spared from witnessing the fall — they were watching a reel of highlights from Hart's career when he fell — but more than 16,000 fans in the arena had front-row seats to the tragedy. Hart's family sued the WWF — which courted controversy by continuing with the event following the fall — over the dangerous stunt. "You don't get up 60 or 70 feet in the air without being properly anchored down," Hart's father told CNN. "Somebody was careless or missed something or else Owen would still be here." The WWF ultimately settled for $18 million.

In late 2018, the WWE made headlines when it decided to go ahead with the Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia despite pressure to cancel the event following the assassination of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi (pictured) at the hands of Saudi agents under the orders of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. "WWE has operated in the Middle East for nearly 20 years and has developed a sizable and dedicated fan base. Considering the heinous crime committed at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, the Company faced a very difficult decision as it relates to its event scheduled for November 2 in Riyadh. Similar to other U.S.-based companies who plan to continue operations in Saudi Arabia, the Company has decided to uphold its contractual obligations to the General Sports Authority and stage the event," the WWE said in a statement.

Dr. Zahorian was indicted for selling steroids to 37 WWF wrestlers and convicted of 15 charges of drug trafficking, but the prosecution wasn't able to prove that McMahon was guilty of criminal conspiracy — even though former wrestler Kevin Wacholz alleged in court that McMahon ordered him to use steroids. Ultimately, he was acquitted. Years later, according to Vice, it was reported that an unnamed state official tipped off an attorney for the WWF that Zahorian was under federal investigation for drug trafficking, allowing the organization to cut ties with the doctor before McMahon could be implicated. But that's not the end of his alleged criminal activity…

In 1992, former WWF wrestler Rita Chatterton, who wrestled under the name Rita Marie and was the WWF's first female referee, claimed that Vince McMahon assaulted her in 1986. He accused her of slander, and it was never made clear what actually happened between the two. In 2006, a 22-year-old woman accused the wrestling exec of assaulting her in the Boca Raton, Florida, tanning salon where she worked. According to The Daily Beast, there was probable cause to issue a warrant for McMahon's arrest, but prosecutors cited lack of evidence to charge him, so nothing ever came of it.

Back in 1985, Vince McMahon conspired with The Fabulous Moolah — who was the first woman to wrestle in Madison Square Garden in 1972 — to strip Wendi Richter (pictured) of her championship title. Why? The wildly popular wrestler refused to sign a contract extension until she felt adequately compensated for her efforts. McMahon booked Richter to face off against a mysterious newcomer known as The Spider Lady — who turned out to be The Fabulous Moolah in disguise. During the match, which has since become known as "The Original Screwjob," The Spider went off script, pinning Richter to the mat. Although Richter successfully broke free, the referee — who was in on the hit job — threw the match in The Spider's favor. That's when Richter unmasked her opponent. (Adding insult to injury, the younger wrestler was a Moolah protégé of sorts — she trained at Moolah's Lillian Ellison School of Professional Wrestling.) After the match, Richter hightailed it to the airport in full gear, effectively ending her relationship with the WWE. She never spoke to McMahon or Moolah again.

The Fabulous Moolah, who was born Mary Lillian Ellison, might have broken barriers for women in wrestling, but she's also one of the most controversial figures in the history of the sport. Wendi Richter alleged that Moolah didn't actually do any of the training at her wrestling school, instead accepting tuition payments while her colleagues trained the new recruits without receiving payment for their work. She also allegedly took a 25 percent cut of all booking fees earned by anyone who trained at her school. Those trainees, meanwhile, were required to rent properties owned by Moolah — meaning most of what they earned went straight into her pockets. Mad Maxine reportedly said that Moolah "controlled" her trainees' lives, describing it as a situation that was "ripe for abuse." In their book "Sisterhood of the Squared Circle," Pat Laprade and Dan Murphy wrote that Moolah's "tactics could be just as ruthless and cutthroat as those of 'The Godfather.'" Worst of all, multiple people have accused Moolah of pimping out her female trainees to various male wrestlers and promoters.

In 2007, Canadian wrestler Chris Benoit murdered his second wife and their 7-year-old son before taking his own life. When the WWE found out that the one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion had died — before learning the grisly details and under the assumption that his death had been an accident — they aired a three-hour tribute to his life and career. Fans were outraged by the organization's reaction when they learned the truth about the murder-suicide. The WWE has since distanced itself from Benoit, who was later determined to have severe brain damage, which likely contributed to the violent act, from years of suffering concussions in the ring. In 2016, more than 50 wrestlers sued the WWE over brain damage caused by the head trauma they suffered in the ring. In the lawsuit, the wrestlers accused the WWE of failing to properly provide care for injured athletes and of placing "corporate gain over its wrestlers' health, safety and financial security, choosing to leave the Plaintiffs severely injured and with no recourse to treat their damaged minds and bodies." Among the biggest names suing the WWE were "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, "Road Warrior Animal" Joseph Laurinaitis, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka and Christopher Alan Pallies (pictured), who wrestled under the name King Kong Bundy and died in March 2019 at the age of 61. In 2018, a federal judge dismissed the lawsuit. The Supreme Court later declined to hear an appeal.

Professional wrestlers have a tendency to die young, with many suffering from depression and addiction issues in their finals years — perhaps because of brain damage suffered in the ring — or from heart problems caused by prior steroid use. Chyna (pictured), who suffered from depression and addiction issues, died of an accidental overdose in 2016 at 46. Crash Holly (Michael John Lockwood) committed suicide in 2003 at 32. Davey Boy Smith (David Smith) suffered a heart attack in 2002 at 39 — an autopsy revealed that past anabolic steroid use may have contributed to his death. Chris Kanyon, who was the first openly gay WWE wrestler, committed suicide in 2010 at 40. Andrew "Test" Martin died of an accidental Oxycodone overdose in 2009 at 33 — an autopsy revealed that he suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy caused by repeated head injuries. Eddie Guerrero died of heart failure in 2005 at 38. Randy Savage died of a heart attack in 2011 at 58. Rockin' Rebel (Charles Williams) murdered his wife and then killed himself in 2018 at 52. In May 2019, Ashley Massaro committed suicide following a lengthy battle with depression. Following her death, the former WWE star's attorney revealed Ashley's claims that during a 2007 goodwill tour of U.S. military bases in Kuwait, a soldier drugged and assaulted her. She also alleged that WWE management, including Vince McMahon, told her to keep the ordeal quiet because it would "ruin the relationship between the WWE and the U.S. military." The WWE released a statement denying the claims, insisting that if Ashley "ever articulated such a claim to WWE, we would have reported it immediately to the Base Commander." The organization added that "at no time was there ever a meeting with Vince McMahon … or other company executives in which she told them of such a claim and was instructed to keep it quiet." Sable, who was born Rena Marlette Lesnar, became one of the most popular female wrestlers of the '90s, but she parted ways with the WWF in 1999 after refusing to go topless in a match. She sued the wrestling organization for $100 million for harassment and unsafe working conditions but ultimately settled out of court for an undisclosed amount. Here are some of her wildest allegations about the WWF: Men cut holes in the walls of the female wrestlers' dressing rooms to spy on them as they changed. Men regularly bragged about their female conquests without regard to the women present. The WWF produced merchandise featuring Sable "in a degrading fashion offering favors." She was asked to "display affection to women to promote a lesbian story angle." She was asked to have her gown ripped off repeatedly and to expose her bare torso by "mistake" on national television.

The WWE fired CM Punk (Phillip Jack Brooks) on the day he married fellow wrestler AJ Lee (April Jeanette Mendez) in 2014. He then accused WWE's Dr. Chris Amann of medical malpractice for failing to properly diagnose a potentially deadly staph infection from which he suffered in 2013. In early 2015 — with the support of the WWE — Amann sued the wrestler for defamation. Ultimately, the jury ruled in favor of Punk. But he's not the only member of the family who's had issues with the wrestling organization… Lee parted ways with WWE in mid-2015, just two months after she lashed out at Vince McMahon's daughter Stephanie McMahon on Twitter. After Stephanie, who's now the chief brand officer of WWE, tweeted in support of Patricia Arquette's 2015 Oscar speech demanding equal pay for women, Lee tweeted, "@StephMcMahon Your female wrestlers have record selling merchandise and have starred in the highest rated segment of the show several times … And yet they receive a fraction of the wages and screen time of the majority of the male roster."

The WWE's messy dealings with Saudi Arabia continue… In April 2018, the organization blocked Canadian wrestler Sami Zayn from participating in the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, because he's of Syrian descent. "WWE is committed to embracing individuals from all backgrounds while respecting local customs and cultural differences around the world," the organization said in a statement. Women were also barred from participating in the event, which female fans were only permitted to attend if accompanied by a male chaperone.

The WWE has long faced criticism for its treatment of female wrestlers, who receive less pay and fewer opportunities than their male counterparts — and face rampant harassment. In a 2014 post on a chat forum, former WWE writer-producer Alex Greenfield called "Smackdown" executive producer Kevin Dunn — Vince McMahon's right-hand man — "a misogynist influence" on the organization. Of one former storyline featuring two female wrestlers, Greenfield wrote that Dunn "wanted both protagonist and villain to be s***** and stupider." Greenfield added that after Kelly Kelly wrestler Barbie Blank made her debut and failed to make a huge first impression with fans, Dunn suggested that the problem was her chest size. "This kind of thing? The tendency to present women as only soft-core objects? Those conversations came every single day, and [Dunn] was the WORST about [rejecting] any serious woman's program," he wrote.

Need more proof of the rampant sexism within the WWE? Look no further than Vince McMahon's daughter, Stephanie McMahon. As the chief brand officer of the WWE, she's arguably the most powerful woman in professional wrestling. But as a former wrestler herself, she's faced an absurd amount of degradation and abuse over the years. She started dating Triple H (Paul Michael Levesque) in real life in 2000 — in the midst of his relationship with Chyna. They tied the knot in 2003 and now have three daughters. True love, right? But their WWE storyline saw Triple H drug, assault and force Stephanie to marry him. After that, several more of her storylines involved threats of assault from male wrestlers. In 2006, there were reports that three years earlier, Vince pitched a romantic storyline starring himself and his daughter, who was frequently referred to as a "$2 s***" in the ring, prompting the live audience to chant "s***" at her.

In late 2018, a Reddit user unearthed a trove of racist, sexist and homophobic comments made by wrestler Lars Sullivan on the website Bodybuilding.com between 2007 and 2013. In May 2019, the WWE responded to the scandal by issuing the wrestler (née Dylan Miley) a fine of $100K and ordering him to undergo sensitivity training. "There is no excuse for the inappropriate remarks that I made years ago. They do not reflect my personal beliefs nor who I am today, and I apologize to anyone I offended," he said in a statement.

Another wrestler accused of racism? In 2018, Charlotte Flair's ex-husband, Riki Paul Johnson, accused her of making "disparaging and racist comments" during an incident with the police in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, back in 2008. The allegations were part of a $5.5 million lawsuit he filed against the wrestler and her father, wrestling icon Ric Flair, over statements they made about him (that he emotionally and physically abused Charlotte during their marriage) in their joint 2017 autobiography "Second Nature." Riki alleged that during the 2008 incident, his ex-wife was the "aggressor in a physical and verbal tirade … directed at the responding police officers, as well as disparaging and racist comments being directed at the [Black] community in Chapel Hill." (In 2008, she was arrested for assaulting a police officer during a fight between Ric and Riki.) "We recently received what appears to be a meritless lawsuit and we will vigorously defend ourselves," the WWE said in a statement.

In June 2019, Insane Championship Wrestling 2018 World Heavyweight Champion Adrian McCallum, who was known as Lionheart in the ring, took his own life. The British wrestler, who was 36, earned the Union of European Wrestling Alliances' Heavyweight Champion title just days before his death. Kennedy Jr., died in a plane crash with his wife, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy — has vocally criticized Ryan Murphy's upcoming project. After the TV producer called Schlossberg's reaction to the show an "odd choice" during an interview with Gavin Newsom, the writer took to Instagram to respond. Schlossberg shared a screenshot of OK! magazine's reporting on Murphy's interview along with the challenge, "Ryan Murphy: Say it to my face."

Jack Schlossberg went on to discuss his memories of John F. Kennedy Jr., challenging Ryan Murphy's assessment that the late politician is just a relative that Schlossberg doesn't really remember. "My earliest memories are of John calling me Jackolatern and … picking me up from school [in] his Pontiac convertible," he wrote. "I remember being the ring bearer at his wedding and the day he died. I remember Wyclef [Jean] singing at his funeral. More memories are passed down from stories — like the time he locked himself out of a car in an intersection and asked the guy screaming at him if he could borrow a golf club to smash the window to get the keys, and then did it."

Jack Schlossberg, who's Caroline Kennedy's son, pointed out that Ryan Murphy is profiting off of John F. Kennedy's life and tragic death. "You're making millions off John, making a public spectacle of [his life] but won't contribute any of your riches to the causes he championed, or the legacy of public service he represented," he said. He then took a dig at actor Paul Anthony Kelly, saying it's "also odd that the actor playing the sexiest man alive is bloated."

According to TheWrap, Ike Barinholtz is closing in on the role of Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. The actor, known for his recent appearance on Apple TV+'s The Studio, would join an already star-studded cast. Andrew Garfield has signed on to play the controversial OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, while Oscar-nominated actor Yura Borisov will portray Ilya Sutskever, the company's co-founder.

Described as a "comedic drama set in the world of artificial intelligence," Artificial will likely explore the chaotic events of 2023, when Sam Altman was abruptly ousted from OpenAI — only to be rehired just days later. While the exact plot remains under wraps, many speculate that the film will offer a behind-the-scenes look at that dramatic moment. The script is written by Simon Rich, who also serves as a producer alongside David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford of Heyday Films, with Jennifer Fox attached to produce as well.

Ike Barinholtz brings an impressive résumé to Artificial. He recently voice-acted in DreamWorks and Netflix's animated film Orion and the Dark and appeared in The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent and The Hunt. As for TV appearances, Barinholtz recently earned an Emmy nomination for his performance in The Studio and co-created the Netflix comedy Running Point, which was recently renewed for a second season.

In the third season, the love triangle between Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah — who are portrayed by Lola Tung, Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno, respectively — remains the core focus. However, Jenny Han revealed that another on-screen romance — the one between Rain Spencer's Taylor and Sean Kaufman's Steven — was more difficult to craft. "That might have been one of the most challenging parts of writing the season, because there's so many places they can go, and we did have that time gap," she told TheWrap.

The relationship between Rain Spencer's and Sean Kaufman's characters isn't fully captured on The Summer I Turned Pretty, though Jenny Han fleshed out their full story in her book trilogy. "We wrote a lot of story that we never even see on screen, just so that we knew what the history was, and we knew where the fault lines were … in the relationship," she said.

Jenny Han noted that Rain Spencer's Taylor had a crush on Sean Kaufman's Steven, but the characters' ties to Lola Tung's Belly made things complicated. "It's a really rich story with a lot of backstory to it, even before the third season, because we knew that Taylor had a crush on Steven since they were little, and she was Belly's best friend but she never told him or anybody," she said. "To me that's always such juicy fodder for a relationship … the 'she fell first, he fell harder' [element] — I think they kind of epitomize that."

Taylor and Steven ended the second season in a relationship, but things proved to be rocky for the duo at the beginning of the third season. Fans of the series will see if the lovebirds can sustain their romance while navigating Belly's feelings and young adulthood.

The latest South Park episode, titled "Sermon on the Mount," takes direct shots at media giants including Paramount for their legal settlements with President Donald Trump. In the viral episode, Trump sues the fictional town of South Park for $5 billion over complaints about Jesus' presence in public schools. Jesus himself, in a surprise twist, urges the town to settle the case. Ultimately, the town agrees to settle — but only under the condition that it also produces pro-Trump content.

The episode ends with a satirical, fake public service announcement featuring an AI-generated version of President Donald Trump. "Who walked through the desert for you? Who survived the wilderness and gave the ultimate sacrifice?" the dramatic voice-over begins. "When things heat up, who will deliver us from temptation? Donald J. Trump." As the faux Trump sheds his outfit and collapses unclothed in the desert, the ad continues, "No matter how hot it gets, he's not afraid to fight for America. With conviction, discipline and trust in God, he survived the desert." The camera then pans down to his private region, followed by the statement, "I'm Donald J. Trump and I approve this message."

The episode aired shortly after Trey Parker and Matt Stone resolved a lengthy legal dispute with Paramount Global, the parent company of South Park's home network, Comedy Central. As part of their new deal, 50 brand-new episodes are in the works. For the first time, all 26 previous seasons, and the current one, will be available on both Comedy Central and Paramount+.

Trump Defends Training AI on Copyrighted Content

President Donald Trump is defending AI companies, arguing they shouldn't be required to pay for copyright material used to train their models. Calling the idea "not do-able," Trump emphasized the need for flexibility if the U.S. wants to stay ahead in the global race for AI dominance.

Speaking at the AI Summit, President Donald Trump stated that companies must have access to information if the U.S. hopes to lead in artificial intelligence innovation. He pushed back on the idea that tech firms should be required to license every piece of copyrighted content used in training AI systems. "You can't be expected to have a successful AI program when every single article, book or whatever you've studied, you're expected to pay for," Trump said. "We appreciate that, but you just can't do that because it's not do-able. And if you're going to try and do that, you're not going to have a successful program."

President Donald Trump also pointed to China as a major player in the tech space, claiming the country isn't facing the same copyright constraints. "When a person reads a book or an article, you've gained great knowledge. That does not mean that you're violating copyright laws or have to make deals with every content provider. You just can't do it. China's not doing it," he said.

President Donald Trump's comments come as the White House launches its AI Action Plan, an initiative aimed at expanding data centers and easing regulations on AI developers. "When you have something, and when you read something, and when it goes into this vast intelligence machine, we'll call it, you cannot expect to every time, every single time, say, 'Let's pay this one that much,'" Trump said. "It just doesn't work that way. Of course, you can't copy or plagiarize an article, but if you read an article and learn from it, we have to allow AI to use that pool of knowledge without going through the complexity of contract negotiations."

Seth Meyers couldn't help but troll Donald Trump in a monologue after the president's administration claimed the bruises on his hands are "consistent with minor soft tissue irritation from frequent handshaking. Said the Saturday Night Live alum, "I just love that his followers have to somehow reconcile this idea that he's this powerful, strong man, but also he gets bruises if you touch him. He's the indestructible savior of America, but also he's basically a plum."

Seth Meyers also made fun of Donald Trump for his recent social media post celebrating six months in the White House. In the update, the president wrote that "time flies." Responded the comedian, "Does it, though? It's been six months of this term, but we already did four years of you. And even when this guy [Joe Biden] was president, you were still the president of every news cycle. … It feels like you've been president forever. I think it goes [George] Washington, [Thomas] Jefferson, [John] Adams and then you."

Seth Meyers may have to rein in the Donald Trump jokes, as the former star of The Apprentice is going after late-night hosts after Stephen Colbert's The Late Show was canceled because Paramount needs Trump's approval for their merger with Skydance. In an update shared to Truth Social, the conservative applauded the move by CBS along with its parent company and threatened other prime-time personalities. "The word is and it's a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go in the untalented late-night sweepstakes and shortly thereafter, [Jimmy] Fallon will be gone," Trump wrote on social media. "These are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid millions of dollars for, in all cases, destroying what used to be GREAT television. It's really good to see them go and I hope I played a major part in it!"
