It's almost time for the stars to get bundled up and hit Park City, Utah, for the annual Sundance Film Festival! Fashion at this yearly event typically means lots of layers, fur and a whole lot of plaid, and we've rounded up some of the more memorable looks from past festivals. First up is the impossibly stylish Kate Bosworth! The star pulled off one of the most fashion-forward looks in the festival's history (you'll see what we mean in a bit) when she attended the "A.C.O.D." premiere there in 2013. The head-to-toe Calvin Klein Collection ensemble featured a belted high-necked fur top, a caramel-colored leather skirt and shiny white vinyl ankle booties. Winter whites! We loved Penelope Cruz's 2003 Sundance Film Festival look, which was made up of all-white coordinates including boot-cut pants and a coat. She added in pops of color with her accessories, brown boots and a tan fur cap.

Plaid is a style staple at the Sundance Film Festival as the stars brave the elements. Ryan Reynolds rocked a red-and-black plaid jacket during the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and kept the rest of his look super simple: just a white T-shirt and gray pants.
Dressing for the chilly weather in Park City, Utah, was a breeze for Mary-Kate Olsen, since the Olsen twins are well-known for their superb layering skills. The stylish twin attended the 2008 Sundance Film Festival in a layered black getup that included black skinny jeans, moto boots and a black coat and accessorized with an oversized gray-and-white scarf to stay extra warm.
Another memorable plaid moment! At the 2002 Sundance Film Festival, Mariah Carey donned this floor-length spaghetti-strap halter dress that she paired with tall black boots.
At a normal Hollywood event, this wouldn't be exceptional, but as a Sundance Film Festival look, we loved the comfortable simplicity of Jennifer Aniston's 2006 ensemble. The star donned simple jeans and a puffy brown jacket and accessorized with a pretty printed scarf as she hit the streets in Park City, Utah.
Demi Moore arrived in style at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival in layer after layer of black. We loved the added touch of fur-topped boots.
Then-couple Bradley Cooper and Suki Waterhouse looked warm and well-dressed at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. The stars both covered up in black jackets and beanies while walking the streets, with the model opting for brown hiking boots, a striped T-shirt and blue-lensed glasses for her festival appearance.
Kristen Stewart stayed true to her own unique style — but was still prepared for the cold weather — while attending the "Camp X-Ray" premiere during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. The low-key star opted for skinny jeans and layered up with a white T underneath a striped button-down and plaid-lined jacket.
Maude Apatow kept things sweet and stylish at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. The young actress donned a brown plaid minidress over a black turtleneck and kept warm with tights, finishing the look off with black ankle boots.
Elizabeth Olsen perfected this cool (and attainable) look at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. The actress rocked a tiger-printed Topshop sweater, brown skinny pants and black boots on the red carpet for the "Liberal Arts" premiere that year.
While we wouldn't be running out to emulate this look today, Paris Hilton was the epitome of 2006 style at that year's Sundance Film Festival. The star donned this bunny-print thermal with pink nylon pants, snowboots and a bright pink tech-vest in Park City, Utah, resulting in a classic mid-'00s look.
Nick Jonas kept things cool and classic at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016. The singer layered a white T-shirt underneath a brown sweater with black pants and kept warm by tossing a chic black coat over it all.
Diane Kruger went with a classic black-and-white look at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. The fashionable actress paired a black high-waisted skirt and ankle boots with a pretty white blouse, which featured lace detailing on the sleeves.
Gabrielle Union went with Prada for an event during the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. She paired her long-sleeved, pleated black dress covered in beautiful embellishments and a belted feature with black tights and boots.
Amanda Seyfried attended the premiere of "Lovelace" at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in a cute business casual look, opting for a three-quarter sleeved black blazer, high-waisted black skinnies and a tucked-in gray-and-black top.
