Bill O'Reilly made a wild claim during a recent television appearance. During an
interview with host
Leland Vittert on NewsNation, the conservative pundit falsely claimed
Jeffrey Epstein was convicted under
Joe Biden's administration — despite the fact that the disgraced financier died in 2019 before the Democrat took office in 2021.

Host Leland Vittert was clearly taken aback when Bill O'Reilly made the incorrect statement about Joe Biden convicting Jeffrey Epstein under his Attorney General Merrick Garland. "Epstein was convicted during the Biden administration," the former The O'Reilly Factor star said. "Hold on, Bill. You said Epstein was convicted during the Biden administration. Epstein [died] during the [Donald] Trump administration," Vittert interjected. "Yeah, so?" O'Reilly questioned. "How do you convict a guy that is dead?" Vittert replied. "I believe he was convicted under Merrick Garland's justice department. Then he was incarcerated. Then he [died]," O'Reilly doubled down. "Bill, I think this is important: He was arrested in 2019 and [died] in 2019 — died August 10th of 2019. So the Biden administration was not involved in a conviction or a trial of him," Vittert pressed. "He was arrested and indicted under Merrick Garland," O'Reilly argued. "No! Under Trump. Epstein was arrested, indicted and [died] under Trump in 2019. Trump was president. Merrick Garland was not the attorney general," Vittert said. "I stand corrected," O'Reilly finally admitted.

After Donald Trump's Justice Department claimed it found no evidence of late s** offender Jeffrey Epstein's "client list," the MAGA base expressed their outrage over the situation. "Trump himself promised full transparency on the Jeffrey Epstein case when he was running for president. This has been a big issue on the Right, my friend [Deputy Director of the FBI] Dan Bongino was one of the people who made it a big issue. So did [Director of the FBI] Kash Patel, talking about it over and over and over again," Megyn Kelly said on a recent episode of her "The Megyn Kelly Show" podcast. "Nothing's been resolved. Nothing's been released. He promised transparency, as did his attorney general and then they release a memo saying, 'You're not getting anything. It's over. Just trust us.' And that was not real, Trump pretending he's shocked that people are still interested in it."

Donald Trump slammed people in his own party for criticizing him over the lackluster results of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. "What's going on with my 'boys' and, in some cases, 'gals?' They're all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We're on one Team, MAGA and I don't like what's happening. We have a PERFECT administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD and 'selfish people' are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein," he wrote on Truth Social.
