People close to Demi Lovato aren't talking rehab yet
Despite indications Demi Lovato would benefit from a return to rehab in the wake of her alleged July 24 overdose, that's still not even something that's being discussed with the singer, who remains in the hospital a week later. TMZ reports Demi is still fighting severe nausea and a high fever as a result of the overdose. That's made it hard to know "how she will receive the message that she desperately needs rehab," according to multiple TMZ sources. Said one insider: "We just don't know where her head is at." A source previously told E! News Demi's overdose was "a big wake-up call" for the singer and that she would head to a treatment center immediately after being discharged from the hospital. Though she had spoken openly for years about her struggles with addiction and mental health issues, Demi is said to have been resistant to admitting she needed help this time around and had recently fired her sober coach.

Jada Pinkett-Smith is working on new music with Willow Smith
For those of you who weren't hitting OzzFest in the early aughts, Jada Pinkett-Smith formed a nu-metal band back in 2002 called Wicked Wisdom (and yes, they really did perform at the Ozzy Osbourne-inspired metal touring festival). Billboard recently sat down with Jada and asked if she had plans for any new Wicked Wisdom music. It seems she's got another focus right now, instead — recording with her 17-year-old daughter, "Whip My Hair" singer Willow Smith. "I actually have a song with Willow that we did together. It's called 'Dear Father' and we are still working on it. But it's pretty dope," she said, adding that the mother-daughter pair hopes to record new songs together. "Willow has always wanted to do some stuff with me. She grew up with Wicked Wisdom on tour, so it's always been her dream to play with the band and play with me on stage. It's really fun," Jada enthused. JustJared reports there's already talk among fans the "Dear Father" title could be a reference to Tupac Shakur's song, "Dear Mama." Jada and Tupac were close friends until his death.

Even Anna Wintour bows down to Queen B. If you need proof, look no further than Vogue's all-important September issue, whose cover began making early promotional rounds this week. Beyonce not only covers the massive glossy (which includes a feature titled, appropriately, "Beyonce and the art of global domination"), but also guest edited the entire issue, making good on a rumor from last week. Among Bey's editorial decisions was her choice of the photographer to shoot her cover. His name is Tyler Mitchell and at 23, he's now the first African-American photographer to ever shoot a Vogue cover in its 126 years of publication. That's according to HuffPo, which checked in with sources close to the editorial process and determined Bey was granted "unprecedented control" over the issue, which features long-form captions she wrote herself. As for Tyler Mitchell? "The reason a 23-year-old black photographer is photographing Beyoncé for the cover of Vogue is because Beyoncé used her power and influence to get him that assignment," said a HuffPo source. Speaking to the New York Times about his creative approach last year, Mitchell, who has shot campaigns for Marc Jacobs and Givenchy, said: "I depict black people and people of color in a really real and pure way," adding, "There is an honest gaze to my photos." While the rumor Bey would guest edit the issue turned out to be true, there's no confirmation from Vogue's publishing company, Conde Nast, about a secondary rumor that this issue will be Winter's last. However, sources have anonymously confirmed that tidbit to both Page Six and HuffPo.

Or, as Tiffany puts it: "I didn't confirm s—. The reporter was like, 'Sanaa Lathan?' I'm, like, three drinks in, so of course I was about to laugh. They thought I put her name out there, but I didn't. I never said nothing. And Beyoncé didn't say nothing. Let the person who [bit Beyoncé] bury themselves … I ain't trying to destroy this girl. I didn't say s— about the girl." On a more serious note, Tiffany's Tao also clearly revolves around her family, whom she intends to support as much as possible. "I got my mom out of the mental institution, like I said I would, in December, and I got her an apartment with my sister and a nurse that comes to her," she says. "I ain't never said this out loud, but I want to be able to give every one of my siblings a million dollars to create whatever they want to do," she adds. "That's four million dollars that I don't need." Tiffany returns to the big screen in September alongside Kevin Hart in "Night School."

In case there was any confusion, Ariana Grande's new song, initially called "Pete," is indeed about her fiance, Pete Davidson. How do we know? Because she just changed the title — to "Pete Davidson." Another follower questioned whether it was a little early to write songs about a guy she'd only been dating a few months. "He's my fiancé," Ariana replied. "This is my album. Now that Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have joined their sisters, Kim Kardashian West and Kourtney Kardashian, in motherhood, the sibs are determined to ensure their kids grow up as pals. "Having all of the cousins together is SUCH a blessing and a dream!" Khloe, who moved back to Los Angeles with Tristan Thompson and their daughter, True Thompson, earlier this summer, gushed this week on her app. "We have baby class once a week together with all of the kids and it's incredible!" she continued. "Seeing their strong little personalities bond with each other is the best thing to witness. I can't wait to watch it continue!" The cousin bonding isn't limited to "baby class," either. After Khloe moved back to her hometown, Kim told ET the sisters were planning an all-cousin photo shoot. "The three little girls are gonna grow up together. Chi and Stormi are just two weeks apart and then True is just a few months behind so that's really exciting," she said, referencing her youngest daughter, Chicago, and Kylie's 5-month-old. "We're so excited. Me and Kylie and Khloe are planning one of those kids' photo shoots, just like a silly shot that we can have all the girls, 'cause Stormi and Chicago have so many pictures together," she said. "So, we can't wait for True to join the crew."

"Yeah," he told "Extra" when asked about the prospect of another collaboration. "We've talked about it." He went on to explain that there was actual fight between the two. "It wasn't a disagreement," he said. "It was just, like, I think we both had a specific opinion about each other, certainly. I was just, ya know, as a rapper, I was just kinda out-there and loud and crazy and all this stuff, and it was a very serious movie and this very serious part, and so the director of the film [the late Scott Kalvert], he had made all my music videos, he felt like I was more than capable to play the part. But no one had seen me act in a film, so I had to really kinda just go out there and prove myself. Once I finally got to the point where I was able to audition and read with him, then we just both kinda looked at each other, we were like, 'Wow!' Seemingly indignant about the notion she couldn't pay for the cars, the massively successful rapper and new mom went ahead and posted her Wells Fargo statement, which showed she had withdrawn more than half a million dollars, cash, to pay for the rides. "When you go to Wells Fargo and withdrawal [sic] you whole car payment," she wrote above the image of the statement (via Celebitchy), adding. "Don't play with me." Noted.
Duchess Kate is a big part of Meghan Markle's support system
Between getting used to her new life as a royal and dealing with her father and sister's seemingly endless, definitely dramatic pleas for tabloid attention and ugliness, Duchess Meghan has her hands full these days. She also has a "pillar of support" in her sister-in-law, Duchess Kate, according to a new story from Vanity Fair's Kate Nicholl. "Kate's made a real effort to be kind to Meghan and to include her. They're quite different characters but they get along well," one royal source says. Kate has reportedly been giving Meghan style pointers and tips and the two are apparently getting together regularly at the palace. "They speak on the phone and Kate makes a point of inviting Meghan over," says the insider."I'd say they try to see each other once a week, sometimes with Harry, sometimes Meghan goes on her own. Kate's really busy juggling three kids; she has a lot on her plate and she has her own friendship group, but she has made an effort with Meghan. She's been very sympathetic to what's been going on with Meghan and her dad."
Harvey Weinstein spotted at Connecticut movie theater amid sexual assault scandal
As he awaits the next step in six charges of sexual assault, including rape, Harvey Weinstein has reportedly been blowing off steam by revisiting his love for the silver screen. theatergoers at the Bow Tie Royale 6 Theater in Westport, Connecticut, on Monday, July 29, told TMZ the former producer was in the audience for screenings of "Transylvania 3" and "Mission: Impossible – Fallout." Though he was reportedly wearing all black, a hat and sunglasses, perhaps in the hopes of remaining unrecognizable, one person who did spot him said he was "having a good time with the kids in the theater." According to TMZ, he was at the theater the previous night, as well. He has pled not guilty to all charges filed against him.
