Katie Holmes and her new beau continue their PDA in Central Park amid news Katie's daughter, Suri, is all for the relationship
Still smitten — and Suri Cruise-approved! Katie Holmes and her new boyfriend, 33-year-old chef Emilio Vitolo Jr., were spotted enjoying a daytime date in New York City's Central Park on Thursday amid news Katie's spoken to Suri, 14, about the romance and Suri "approves." The actress and celeb-connected chef were first linked in early September, when they were spotted at a restaurant together just as Emilio and his now ex-fiancee were said to have called off their engagement. In the park Thursday, Katie and Emilio held hands as they chatted through their masks before Katie tugged hers aside to give Emilio a kiss and a smile. According to OK!, the 41-year-old star has been smiling and openly indulging in PDA with her new guy in part because she already has a thumbs-up on Emilio from her daughter, Suri, who is simply "happy that her mom is happy," a source tells OK! Katie reportedly split from Jamie Foxx last year after more than six years of rather secretive dating.

After no small degree of fan anticipation, early aughts lovebirds turned modern-day pals Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunited on Zoom this week for a virtual, charity table read of "Fast Times at Ridgemont High." And the post-op consensus is that they were "totally flirting." Brad was cast as Brad Hamilton, whose obsession with Linda Barrett — played by, you guessed it, his ex-wife, Jen — leads him to a famous fantasy scene in which she emerges from a pool in a red swimsuit looking like an '80s-era super-goddess. And yes, the former flames did seem to get a kick out of reading that scene. "Hi, Brad. You know how cute I always thought you were," Jen said in her best fantasy-level sex kitten voice. "I think you're so sexy. Will you come to me?" Cue a seemingly genuine blush from Brad, who could barely avoid grinning. By that point, the other stars involved were about as giddy as the teenagers they were playing. According to The Cut, Julia Roberts was endlessly giggling, Matthew McConaughey gave an "alright, alright" nod and when the script had narrator Morgan Freeman describe Jen, aka Linda, begin removing her swimsuit, Morgan interrupted himself with a heartfelt, "Lord have mercy."
Kanye West is reportedly 'on very thin ice' with Kim Kardashian after latest Twitter rant
In the wake of Kanye West's recent Twitter tirade — during which he ranted about the music industry and posted a video that seemed to show him peeing on one of his Grammy Awards — the rapper's wife, Kim Kardashian West, is reportedly running out of patience. (Twitter technically is, too — the platform banned Kanye for 12 hours for posting what he said was a Forbes reporter's cell phone number in the same rant.) A source tells People that Kanye's broken many of the "promises" he made to Kim a month ago when they last had problems related to his outbursts. Among them was a commitment to taking his medication for bipolar disorder, which he's now off, according to the source. The insider goes on to say Kim's "at the end of her rope again" with her husband. "It's the same thing over and over and over again," says the source. "He's on very thin ice with her right now, and she's truly trying to decide what to do to protect the kids, but also her own sanity. The whole thing is discouraging and difficult for her." Kim also reportedly had no idea about Kanye's tweets until she saw them online. "She wants to be a supportive partner, she's doing everything she can do to support him," the source continues. "But he has to support himself. He has to take care of his own health. She can't force feed him medication. She can't make him do anything he doesn't want to do." Meanwhile, Kanye's still running for president in multiple states, via a "Birthday Party" campaign many believe is an attempt to pull votes away from Democratic nominee Joe Biden for the sake of Donald Trump. Kim, however, "doesn't care one bit about the presidential run," the insider says. "She wants the kids to be happy and to have a stable father. That's all she wants. And she'll do whatever she can do to have that happen. But she is not going to cater to his whims." The source adds that the whole situation has left Kim feeling, "very powerless." Adds the source: "She loves Kanye very much, and he just doesn't realize how much pain he's causing her."

How 'Tiger King' star Carole Baskin's 'DWTS' debut could help investigators find her former husband
There's a chance "Dancing With the Stars" could unwittingly help locate "Tiger King" star Carole Baskin's former husband, Don Lewis, who disappeared in 1997. During Monday's season premiere of "DWTS," which features Baskin as a contestant, Lewis' family and their lawyer, John Phillips, appeared in an ad requesting information about his disappearance. The request didn't go unanswered. According to USA Today, Phillips received "well over 100" tips after the ad ran and he thinks some may be "legitimate." "Some of them are [just], 'I watched 'Tiger King,' and I think Carole Baskin did it,' kind of wasteful," Phillips told the outlet. "But then there's some pretty specific tips and locations mentioned that we're gonna check out." Baskin, meanwhile, told USa Today on Friday that she would be relieved if the case were finally closed. "Nothing would please me more than for Don to finally be found, as it would certainly prove my innocence," she wrote in an email. While Phillips couldn't divulge much about the new information his team has learned, he said the tips have led them to "some locations" and "some people" they had not previously looked into.

After serving as a presenter at Thursday night's edition of the online Creative Arts Emmy Awards, "Cheer" coach Monica Aldama broke her silence on Jerry Harris' arrest on child pornography charges. "My heart is shattered into a million pieces. I am devastated by this shocking, unexpected news," she posted on Instagram on Friday. "Our children must be protected from abuse and exploitation, and I'm praying hard for the victims and everyone affected." She then asked fans to, "Please respect our privacy as our family mourns during this heartbreaking time." "Cheer" star and fan favorite, Harris, 21, was charged with producing child pornography after an FBI investigation, according to Page Six. He was reportedly a teenager at the time of the incident(s) and has denied the claims through his lawyer. If convicted, he could face between 15 and 30 years behind bars.
John Leguizamo is 'boycotting' the Emmys over its lack of Latinx representation
Five years after the #OscarsSoWhite hashtag surfaced, awards shows including the Primetime Emmys, which airs Sunday, still face criticism over the homogeneous makeup of their nominees. And while the Emmys have improved on diversity with regard to Black actors, John Leguizamo won't be participating in this year's event because of its lack of Latinx representation. "I'm boycotting. If you don't have Latin people, there's no reason for me to see it," he told Yahoo this week. "It's unbelievable that our stories aren't being told … Like, we're 50 percent of the population of Los Angeles and less than three percent of the faces in front of the camera? Less than two percent of the faces behind the camera? Less than one percent of the stories being told by Hollywood streamers and networks? That's cultural apartheid."

Danny Masterson appears in court on rape charges
"That 70s Show" star Danny Masterson, 44, appeared in court Friday in Los Angeles, where his attorney promised to seek a dismissal in charges he raped three women between 2001 and 2003. JustJared reports the actor arrived "with about 20 supporters" and that the victims were also present. Masterson has repeatedly denied the claims against him, which his attorney argued in court are "political in nature," according to L.A. Times reporter James Queally. Ultimately, the arraignment was delayed until Oct. 19. Masterson reportedly plans to plead not guilty if the demurrer his attorney filed is denied. He faces up to 45 years in prison if he's convicted.
