Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis and his husband of eight years, Johnny Chaillot, have split after eight years of marriage. Johnny quietly filed for divorce in Los Angeles on June 11, and on June 18, Greg announced their breakup in an Instagram post, writing, "At this time, Johnny and I wish to share that we are respectfully and mutually ending our marriage. Marriage among all couples is more often than not challenging, and, particularly during #pridemonth, it's important that we say how grateful we were to be among the first gay couples to have the privilege to marry legally, and face these challenges so many do. It's something not so long ago that many of us were certain would never happen." The champion diver continued, "And so, we make this announcement with that in mind, and to ask for the respect and privacy of anyone heading down this new road we must embrace. Thanks to everyone who has supported and nurtured us all of these years."

It's over for Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson — again. On June 21, Page Six broke the news that the couple — who endured cheating scandals in 2018 and 2019 and reconciled in 2020 — quietly split up "a few weeks ago." The latest split news emerged on the same day DailyMail.com reported that Tristan "disappeared into a bedroom with three women during a Bel Air birthday party — and emerged 'disheveled' 30 minutes later" on June 18. TMZ reported that the reality TV star and the NBA player broke up in the wake of cheating allegations that arose in April when Instagram model Sydney Chase claimed that she and the NBA player hooked up; another woman also alleges that Tristan fathered her child. (He's denied both claims.) A source told Page Six that Khloe and Tristan are "getting along. There is no drama. Everything is amicable, and they are on the same page with co-parenting" their 3-year-old daughter, True.

Nine months after British pop star Liam Payne and Texan model Maya Henry confirmed they were engaged after two years of dating, the former One Direction singer revealed that they've ended their romance — and he's taking the blame. "I feel like more than anything at this point, I'm more disappointed in myself that I keep on hurting people," he said on the June 7 episode of the "Diary of a CEO" podcast, as reported by Page Six. "That annoys me. I've just not been very good at relationships. And I know what my pattern of things is with relationships at this point. I'm just not very good at them so I just need to work on myself before I put myself on to somebody else." According to Liam, "I just wasn't giving a very good version of me anymore, that I didn't appreciate and I didn't like being. I can honestly say I feel better out of it. I didn't feel good doing what I did but it had to happen. Just a corny way to say it was the best for us both."
Matthew Perry has ended his engagement to Molly Hurwitz, People magazine reported on June 1. The "Friends" star and the literary manager got engaged in November 2020. They started dating in 2018. "Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them," Matthew said in a statement. "I wish Molly the best."
"Sex and the City" hunk Blair Underwood and Desiree DaCosta announced on May 30 that they were splitting after 27 years of marriage. The couple shares three adult children. "The Real Housewives of Potomac" star Gizelle Bryant revealed on the May 28 episode of "The Breakfast Club" that she and her ex-husband, pastor Jamal H. Bryant — who wed in 2002, divorced in 2009 and reconciled romantically in 2018 — are no longer a couple. "We were working on us getting back together and being back together, but he lives in Atlanta, I live in Maryland, and with the pandemic, we realized it's just not the right time. It's just not going to work," she said, adding that she's "single." Despite the split, Gizelle said that her ex "will always be in my life" because they share three daughters.
On May 25, news broke revealing that Erica Mena had filed to divorce "Love & Hip Hop" star Safaree Samuels in Georgia three days earlier — less than three weeks after they announced that she's pregnant with their second child. The couple, who share 1-year-old daughter Safire, were married for less than two years.
On May 16, People magazine and "ET" reported that it was over for Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly. The host of "The Daily Show" and the actress — whose romance was made public in August 2020 — dated for a year, a source told "ET." "Minka and Trevor have broken up," the source confirmed. "Their work commitments and careers are very different and they both felt like they should take time apart." The source added that the "Friday Night Lights" alum has been "leaning on friends, traveling and keeping busy since their split" while the comedian "has been doing his own thing too." However, on June 1, People reported that the relationship was still in play: According to a source, the two — who were seen spending time together in St. Barts in late May — are "not officially back together" but are "figuring things out." According to a second People source, the "Daily Show" host and the actress were "kissing" and "cuddly" with each other during a May 25 dinner on the Caribbean island. The following day, they reportedly left the vacation destination together via the same private plane.
It's over for Carrie Ann Inaba and Fabien Viteri after less than a year of dating. The "Dancing With the Stars" judge took to her Instagram Story on May 12 to announce that their relationship had recently ended. "I am single. Again," she wrote. "I am also… grateful for what was. Confused. Uncertain of the future. Sad. Hopeful. Trying to allow the emotions. Trying to be strong. Allowing myself space to cry. And I will grow. And I will evolve. And I will survive this too. And I will honor the gift that it was." Carrie Ann and Fabien started dating in the summer of 2020.
Comedian John Mulaney is divorcing Anna Marie Tendler after six years of marriage. His rep confirmed the news — which comes a few months after John completed rehab — to Page Six on May 10. "John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work," said his rep. Anna Marie shared a statement via a spokesperson: "I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery."
Page Six revealed on May 5 that "The Bachelor" season 12 winner Shayne Lamas — who later starred on "Leave It to Lamas" with actor dad Lorenzo Lamas — had split from her husband of 11 years, gossip blogger Nik Richie. "After my engagement to ['The Bachelor' lead] Matt [Grant] ended [in 2008] … I was devastated and still in search of what I was originally seeking, which was to find love and start a family," Shayne told the New York Post's gossip column. "Shortly after 'The Bachelor' and 'Leave It to Lamas,' I married a man in Vegas after knowing him less than 24 hours on a complete whim. But I can honestly say after 11 years of marriage and two beautiful and thriving children, it was a successful decade. Nik and I are best friends and will continue to raise our children as a team but our marriage has been empty for years." Shayne went on to reveal that she and her husband "have not been intimate in almost a year and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that will take a toll on any marriage no matter how much respect you have for each other."
On May 4, "The Real Housewives of Dallas" star Kary Brittingham announced that she and husband Eduardo were calling it quits after 12 years of marriage, sharing on Instagram alongside a family photo, "Eduardo and I have made the very tough decision to separate." Kary went on to call him "the most amazing father these past 17 years to my four kids and for that I am eternally grateful." They share a daughter and Eduardo has helped raise Kary's three kids from a previous marriage. "We are stepping into this new journey as co-parents together and while I know it's going to be an adjustment, I am confident that we can handle this next chapter of life with the same amount of mutual respect and love we've shared with each other for so long," she continued, adding that "starting over at 50 is scary and change can be hard, but I know that we are doing the right thing for ourselves and our children. If you believe in the power of prayer, please pray for us as we walk through this uncharted territory."
It's over for Bill Gates and Melinda Gates. On May 3, the famed philanthropists — he co-founded Microsoft, where she worked as a general manager — announced that they're divorcing. The billionaires — who in 2000 founded the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, a nonprofit that fights poverty, disease and inequity around the world — revealed their split news in a joint statement on Twitter. "After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives," they wrote. "We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives. We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life." Melinda filed for divorce the same day in King County, Washington, revealing in her paperwork that the marriage was "irretrievably broken" and that she and Bill — who have a reported net worth of more than $130 billion — do not have a prenuptial agreement and want a judge to divide their assets according to a separation agreement. She also noted in her petition that "spousal support is not needed." The pair share three adult children: Jennifer, 25, Rory, 21, and Phoebe, 18.

Celebrity chef Cat Cora's marriage is over. On April 30, TMZ reported that music exec Nicole Ehrlich filed for divorce in Los Angeles on April 26 — less than a week after they marked their three-year wedding anniversary. This is the second divorce for the "Iron Chef" and "Around the World in 80 Plates" star, who has four kids from her first marriage to Jennifer Cora, whom she divorced in 2015 after a 17-year relationship that made headlines for its bitter aftermath. Nicole has two boys from a previous relationship with ex Rosa Ehrlich.
Actor Jason Segel and pyrography artist Alexis Mixter have split after eight years together, she revealed on Instagram in a lengthy, loving post on April 29. "This is a photo of two best friends. This guy and I have shared so much life together. Changed each other at a soul deep level. All for the better. The depth of our bond was something I could never have anticipated. I've never spent so much time with another person, grown so much alongside someone else, laughed so much, cried so much, shared so much," she began. "It is odd to write about the end of a relationship, especially when the friendship that still exists is so full of life. But change happens and we made the decision quite a while ago to let ourselves grow away from what our relationship had been and into what it was becoming." Alexis went on to say that her feelings as she shared the news of her breakup from the "How I Met Your Mother" actor were only "love and gratitude … Thank you J for being my best friend," she continued. "The person who shares all my favorite jokes, sees who I really am and all I want to be, loves me unconditionally and makes me always strive to be bigger and better than I was yesterday. I will never stop cheering you on with every cell of my body. I will never stop loving you unconditionally."
On April 28, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, Katie Holmes and her boyfriend Emilio Vitolo Jr., "both have a lot of commitments piling up" and had "agreed to give each other space." Earlier in April, there were reports that the pair's hot-and-heavy romance had started cooling.
"Station 19" star Jay Hayden's wife of about 15 years, actress Nicole Hayden, quietly filed for divorce on Feb. 13, 2020, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, Us Weekly reported on April 27. In his response, Jay, who shares two kids with Nicole, listed their date of separation as Jan. 4, 2020. The actress recently revealed she's dropping Hayden and changing her name to Nikki Marie Bloss, taking her late grandmother's surname.
After years of trying to make their marriage work following a 2016 cheating scandal, Jana Kramer announced on April 21 that she and Mike Caussin were over. Multiple outlets reported that she filed for divorce after nearly six years of marriage, and within days, Jana's divorce petition was made public: The "One Tree Hill" alum cited "inappropriate marital conduct, irreconcilable differences and adultery" as the reasons for their split and April 20 as their separation date. According to a People magazine source, the former professional football player "cheated and broke her trust again." Said the insider, "After fighting for the marriage for so long, she's come to terms with the realization that his patterns were never going to change." Jana broke the news in a lengthy Instagram post, writing in part, "'It's time.' As I try to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality. I've fought y'all. I've loved hard. I've forgiven. I've put the work in. I've given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give." Jana and Mike briefly split in 2016 when his infidelity and issues with sex addiction first came to light but reconciled the following year.
Actor Zac Efron and live-in Aussie girlfriend Vanessa Valladares, an aspiring model, have split after 10 months of dating. A report in Australia's Daily Telegraph broke the news, which made headlines in the States on April 20. Then one of Zac's friends, radio host Kyle Sandilands, confirmed the report on his program, "The Kyle and Jackie O Show." "It's not just The Daily Telegraph. I can also confirm after speaking with him yesterday," Kyle said. "It's only recent, but not, like, yesterday recent. But they've gone their separate ways. … No drama, but it's done." Days after the news made headlines, a source told Us Weekly, "Zac is about to start a busy year of filming and wanted to make a clean break now," noting that the actor was scheduled to shoot "Firestarter" in Canada for two months. Us Weekly previously reported that the actor met the beauty in June 2020 while she was working as a waitress in Byron Bay, Australia, where he's been living and working in recent years.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" newbie Falynn Guobadia announced on her Instagram Story on April 22 that she and her husband, Simon, are splitting. "After two years of marriage and five years of friendship, Simon and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways," she wrote. "We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other's lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other's children. This mutual decision was not made lightly, and despite our current willingness to be transparent, we only ask our friends and supporters to be respectful with our privacy as our family gets through this very difficult period." Simon echoed her comments in a since-deleted Instagram post. He later revealed on Instagram Live that he's been "in this state of mind of pain for over a year" and that they've been "broken up since late January."
Model Carolina Delgado told Page Six on April 21 that she and "The Real Housewives of Miami" alum Romain Zago, who was previously married to Joanna Krupa, are divorcing after a year of marriage. "We are soul mates meant to be best friends," she said in part. "We get [along] way better this way." She added in a post on her Instagram Story, which Romain shared on his Instagram Story, "We care deeply about each other, I will always be there for him and vice versa."
On April 15, after weeks of trying to work through problems in their four-year relationship, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez confirmed they'd split after a two-year engagement. "We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another's children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have is to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support," they said in a statement ro People magazine. The news comes a month after Page Six reported they'd quietly split in the wake of his cheating scandal involving "Southern Charm" star Madison LeCroy — after which J.Lo and A-Rod told People and TMZ that they were still together but admitted, "We are working through some things." Ultimately, their efforts over the next few weeks weren't successful.
Candace Cameron Bure revealed in an April 14 interview with Us Weekly that her 21-year-old son, Lev, called off his engagement to Taylor Hutchison, which they'd announced in August 2020. "He's no longer getting married. … It was a mutual decision, so nobody's upset and heartbroken," Candace said, adding that her son is doing "great" amid the breakup.
It's over for Braunwyn Windham-Burke and her girlfriend, Kris. TMZ reported on April 11 that the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star and her first girlfriend had amicably split more than a month earlier. The Bravo star — who in late 2020 came out as a lesbian but said she would remain married to her husband of more than two decades, Sean Burke — is reportedly already dating other women.
"Below Deck Sailing Yacht" stars Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry broke up in December, she confirmed in April. She further explained to Us Weekly in an April 14 interview, "I loved him, but I think I was not in love." The duo got engaged in July 2020.
Multiple media outlets reported on April 6 that Larsa Pippen's controversial romance with Malik Beasley — who's nearly half her age — had come to an end. According to a Page Six source, the duo spent Valentine's Day together and are "still in communication," though they're no longer a couple. Said an Us Weekly source, "Larsa decided to distance herself from the drama. He was going through a lot and the timing wasn't right. … Many people assumed [their relationship] was serious when in fact it was not." The 24-year-old professional basketball player has been duking it out with his estranged wife, model Montana Yao, in the press and in divorce court since he suddenly started seeing the 46-year-old mother of four in late 2020.
Reality TV star Luann de Lesseps' brief romance with South African personal trainer Garth Wakeford — whom she met on the Hinge dating app in August 2020 — ran its course, the former countess told Page Six. She confirmed the breakup news after someone who wrote to celebrity gossip Instagram account Deux Moi claimed that Garth — who appears as Luann's boyfriend in a teaser trailer for the next season of "The Real Housewives of New York City" — was stepping out on her with another woman. Not so, said Luann: "Garth and I stopped dating before the holidays and I only wish him well." Garth also confirmed to Page Six that it was over, and on top of that, he said, "Regarding this [other] girl, we have no relationship. She came to my exercise class once. We follow each other on Instagram and that is it."
Musician Drew Taggart of the Chainsmokers and DJ Chantel Jeffries split after a year of dating, Us Weekly reported on April 3. "They broke up a month ago," the Grammy winner's rep told the magazine. "It was an amicable breakup, and they remain friends."
On March 26, E! News reported that "Riverdale" star Camila Mendes and her boyfriend of about a year, photographer Grayson Vaughn, quietly broke up a month earlier. "There was no drama at all, and they are still friends. Their relationship just ran its course," said a source, adding that the actress "has been shooting in Canada" and because "travel has been banned" amid the coronavirus pandemic, it was difficult for the pair to spend time together.
A year after the Netflix documentary "Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness" introduced the world to Joseph Maldonado-Passage — better known as Joe Exotic — the former big cat zookeeper's fourth husband, Dillon Passage, took to Instagram to tell fans they were ending their marriage. Dillon announced the news on March 26, writing that more than three years after their 2017 wedding, "Joe and I are seeking a divorce. This wasn't an easy decision to make but Joe and I both understand that this situation isn't fair to either of us. It's something that neither of us were expecting but we are going to take it day by day. We are on good terms still and I hope it can stay that way. I will continue to have Joe in my life and do my best to support him while he undergoes further legal battles to better his situation." Joe and Dillon have been apart for more than two years because Joe is in federal prison serving a 22-year sentence for his role in a murder-for-hire plot against nemesis Carole Baskin and wildlife protection law violations. While one of Joe's attorneys initially told People magazine that his firm was "reviewing options … regarding separation and divorce," another lawyer, Francisco Hernandez, told Us Weekly on March 27 that the divorce was called off after Dillon and Joe spoke on the phone and decided to "stay married right now so things don't get complicated," he said.
On March 23 — after Addison Rae referred to Bryce Hall as her "ex-boyfriend" in an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe — media outlets confirmed that the two TikTok stars had recently called it quits. According to Us Weekly, Addison ended their on-and-off relationship. "She feels that he has a lot of growing up to do and that he brings too much drama into her life. They're so on and off though, so don't be surprised if they get back together at some point," an insider told Us. A source told E! News that the social media stars haven't been together since he was accused of cheating on her in Las Vegas in February. (He denied the allegations in March, tweeting, "I didn't cheat on Addison.") Meanwhile, an anonymous source told Deux Moi, an Instagram account dedicated to celebrity gossip, that Bryce and model Josie Canseco have been "hooking up in front of everyone at parties for the last month" and that Bryce "wants the Internet to think he's still on good terms with Addison" for clout.
TMZ reported that comedian Gary Owen's wife of nearly two decades, Kenya Duke, filed for divorce in Los Angeles on March 19. She later implied on Instagram that the stand-up star and "Think Like a Man" actor cheated with a woman from Dallas who's friends with reality TV star Claudia Jordan — who's been friends with Gary for years. "[You] should know better — married not separated — married," Kenya captioned a since-deleted Instagram post. She also addressed her estranged husband directly, writing, "All the energy you spent lying, acting and creating a fake narrative for these [women] that want to be me, you could have done it with a veggie burger and a glass of fake filtered water." Claudia then hopped online to set the record straight, claiming in a video (watch a recording here) that she doesn't have a friend from Dallas and is not aware of any alleged cheating involving Gary.
After weeks of speculation, rapper Saweetie on March 19 confirmed that she and Migos rapper Quavo were over after more than two years of dating. "I'm single. I've endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don't band aid scars and the love isn't real when the intimacy is given to other women," she tweeted. Quavo didn't like her infidelity shade and soon took to social media to respond. "I know you want to make this into a show so I'll play my part just this one time. I don't normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives," he tweeted. "I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best." Saweetie replied with a simple, "Take care."
On March 18, Tinsley Mortimer's fiancé of a little more than a year, Scott Kluth, released a statement to People magazine announcing that they ended their relationship and "have been living independently for the last few months." A source close to the former "The Real Housewives of New York City" star — who walked away from the Bravo show when she moved to Chicago to be with Scott after they got engaged in late 2019 — described her as "blindsided" by the breakup, which "was not mutual." Said the insider, "She's on the floor heartbroken and devastated. She left everything for him because she didn't think he'd ever call off the engagement. She trusted him that this time was going to be different." Almost exactly a year ago, Tinsley said that she and the Coupon Cabin founder — who've been off and on for years — were planning to wed in Japan before the coronavirus pandemic forced them to postpone their plans to tie the knot. According to a Page Six source, Scott "tortured" Tinsley "for years" and "used her celebrity to promote his coupon company." When asked for a response, Scott's rep accused Tinsley of "mischaracterizing the circumstances of their breakup, which happened months ago." The back and forth only got messier from there.
On March 15, "The Bachelor" season 25 star Matt James revealed on the "After the Final Rose" special that he and his final pick — who had been revealed that same night — were no longer in a relationship. They'd decided to continue dating at the series' conclusion rather than get engaged, and they quietly continued to see each other — until her racism scandal erupted in February as the season was midway through airing. Matt explained that he felt he had "to take a step back" to let her work on herself amid the scandal. Rachael, meanwhile, said she was blindsided and confused when Matt dumped her and admitted that she was still in love with him. In early April, the duo sparked reconciliation rumors when they suddenly started spending time together again. After a few weeks of conflicting reports, Matt told People magazine in late April that they were seeing each other again and that he was "not pursuing any relationships right now outside of that." Added the reality star, "I said I was going to focus on my relationship with her and that means focusing on it."
On March 9, Alessandra Ambrosio was snapped holding hands with male model Richard Lee during a dinner date in Santa Monica, California. The PDA served as a confirmation that the former Victoria's Secret Angel split from longtime love Nicolo Oddi. It's unclear when they called it quits.
"Bling Empire" star Kelly Mi Li took to Instagram on March 9 to announce that she and her off-and-on love of nearly six years, "Power Rangers Megaforce" actor Andrew Gray, called it quits again.
"Love Island" couple Connor Trott and Mackenzie Dipman took to their Instagram Stories on March 6 to announce that they called it quits.
On Feb. 25, TMZ broke the news that Holly Madison and Zak Bagans (right) called it quits "a few weeks ago" after nearly two years of coupledom. They're reportedly still friendly and remain on talking terms. The former "The Girls Next Door" beauty and the "Ghost Adventures" star met in May 2019 and kept their relationship extremely under the radar.
On the morning of Jan. 19, multiple media outlets reported that Clare Crawley and Dale Moss — who got engaged just four episodes into season 16 of "The Bachelorette" in mid-2020 — had hit a rough patch in their relationship. Just hours after those reports hit the Internet, the former professional football player took to Instagram to announce that they'd actually "decided to go our separate ways." Initial reports indicated the duo came to the conclusion that they'd rushed into things once they really got to know each other and realized they want different things in life: Clare, who wants to settle down and have children as soon as possible, is based in suburban Sacramento, California, where she's caring for her mother, who has Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Dale, meanwhile, is focused on building his brand and career in New York City. But soon, a different picture of the breakup emerged, with Us Weekly and "Entertainment Tonight" reporting that Dale dumped Clare over behavior that caused "friction" with his family. Two days after the male model announced the breakup, the hairstylist finally addressed the split on Instagram, writing that she was "crushed" and essentially blindsided. E! News then reported that, according to multiple sources, Dale had been cheating on Clare throughout their relationship with a woman he'd been seeing since at least late 2019. Sources close to Dale, meanwhile, insisted his relationship with his longtime pal, who's a real estate agent, was completely platonic and that she was simply helping him find an apartment to share with Clare in New York City. (Clare and Dale also faced cheating rumors late last year.) Another E! source said that Clare was under the impression she and Dale "were working on their relationship" until he "abruptly posted to his Instagram page that they had parted ways." Still, a Dale-friendly source claimed Clare was misrepresenting the timeline, insisting he wanted to announce the breakup a week earlier but agreed to keep quiet while she processed things. "She feels he knew the truth was going to come out about his shady friendship … [and] wanted to break up quickly because the truth was eventually going to come out," said one of the Clare-friendly sources. In spite of all the drama, the pair sparked reconciliation rumors in mid-February when they suddenly started spending time together in Florida. In early March, however, E! News reported that, according to a source, the off-and-on couple "aren't getting back together … at this point in time." Yet they continued to spend time together…
On Jan. 25, "The Vampire Diaries" actress Alice Evans claimed on Twitter that her "beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years," Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd, had "announced he is to leave his family, starting next week." Wrote the mother of two of her "sad news" in a since-deleted tweet, "Me and our young daughters are very confused and sad. We haven't been given a reason except that he 'no longer loves me.' I'm so sorry." She later claimed that she was being "gaslit and mentally tortured" and alleged that she'd experienced "six months of harassment: yes/no/maybe" — purportedly related to Ioan's indecisiveness over whether or not to leave the relationship — and added that she "cannot live anymore like this." The estranged couple then released a joint statement reading, "As you can imagine, this is an incredibly difficult time for our family and we remain committed to our children." Later, Ioan's father, Peter, told MailOnline that the family has been "aware" of the issues between the "Fantastic Four" actor and his wife. Other Daily Mail sources hypothesized "that there's probably another person involved." (They did not provide evidence to prove that suspicion.) One insider said he or she was "not at all surprised" by the drama between Ioan and Alice because he's a known flirt. On Jan. 28, The Sun reported that Ioan's mother, Margaret, insisted that cheating did not play a role in the breakup. A source told the British tabloid, "Ioan has just told his wife he's decided it isn't working and he wants to move on, but obviously, for her, there are a lot of questions over why. Within the [entertainment] industry, there are a lot of raised eyebrows about whether things might be to do with his time working away in Australia. Obviously his career has taken him all over the world recently, which has put strain on the family for a while now — but the timing of this has set a lot of tongues wagging." In early March, Ioan filed for divorce. Alice implied on Instagram that she was blindsided by the news and that her estranged husband was unfaithful, writing, "Do you [know] what I'm mostly scared of? It's who the girl is."
