It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since "The Office" debuted on NBC in March 2005. From watching Jim and Pam's courtship unfold to laughing at Dwight's antics, viewers tuned in every week to see what kind of hijinks Michael Scott and the gang would get into next. In honor of the beloved sitcom's big anniversary, we're taking a look back at the cast and how much they've changed (or not!) over the years.

Life after "The Office" has been kind to Steve Carell. The actor pivoted to more dramatic roles and earned a best actor Academy Award nomination for his work in 2014's "Foxcatcher" before he starred in 2015's "The Big Short," the critically acclaimed film about the financial crisis of the late aughts. Steve also earned two Golden Globe nods for his performance in 2017's "Battle of the Sexes" alongside his "Crazy, Stupid Love" co-star Emma Stone. The Massachusetts native has also accomplished something most in Hollywood have not: a long and successful marriage. He's been happily wed to wife Nancy, with whom he has two kids, since 1995.

The former hippie, who was once homeless, became the regional manager during the last season of the show because he'd been with the company the longest.
