It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since "The Office" debuted on NBC in March 2005. From watching Jim and Pam's courtship unfold to laughing at Dwight's antics, viewers tuned in every week to see what kind of hijinks Michael Scott and the gang would get into next. In honor of the beloved sitcom's big anniversary, we're taking a look back at the cast and how much they've changed (or not!) over the years.

Steve Carell brought lovable idiot Michael Scott to life on "The Office" one year after he made audiences crack up in the 2004 big-screen hit "Anchorman."

Life after "The Office" has been kind to Steve Carell. The actor pivoted to more dramatic roles and earned a best actor Academy Award nomination for his work in 2014's "Foxcatcher" before he starred in 2015's "The Big Short," the critically acclaimed film about the financial crisis of the late aughts. Steve also earned two Golden Globe nods for his performance in 2017's "Battle of the Sexes" alongside his "Crazy, Stupid Love" co-star Emma Stone. He also starred in the critically acclaimed 2018 drama "Beautiful Boy" and a year later headed back to TV to star on Apple TV+'s "The Morning Show" alongside Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. In 2022, he reprised his voice role as Gru in the movie "Minions: The Rise of Gru" after returning to Netflix for season 2 of the comedy series "Space Force" earlier in the year. The Massachusetts native has also accomplished something most in Hollywood have not: a long and successful marriage. He's been happily wed to wife Nancy, with whom he has two kids, since 1995.

John Krasinski starred as adorable paper salesman Jim Halpert on "The Office." Over the show's nine seasons, Jim managed to woo his longtime office crush, receptionist Pam Beesley, and eventually married her.

John Krasinski has enjoyed a successful career in Hollywood since leaving his "office" job behind. The actor shed his guy-next-door image when he buffed up for a role as a Navy SEAL in "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" in 2016 and starred opposite Anna Kendrick in "The Hollars," which he also directed. John also worked as an executive producer alongside Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Merchant on the popular Spike series "Lip Sync Battle." In 2018, he earned widespread recognition for writing, directing and starring in the critically acclaimed and financially successful horror film "A Quiet Place" alongside wife Emily Blunt. Its sequel, "A Quiet Place Part II," was released in 2021. In 2018, John returned to the small screen with the Amazon Prime Video series "Jack Ryan," which he also produced. In 2022, the actor voiced Superman in the family-friendly flick "DC League of Super Pets." As for his personal life, John and Emily welcomed two girls after "The Office" wrapped: Hazel in 2014 and Violet in 2016.

Jenna Fischer has continued to work on the small screen since "The Office" wound down. The mother of two — she and screenwriter hubby Lee Kirk welcomed their second child, daughter Harper, a year after the show's finale — appeared on TV's "You, Me and the Apocalypse," "The Mysteries of Laura," "Drunk History" and more. Jenna also worked on the big screen in 2017's "Brad's Status" and 2018's "The 15:17 to Paris." In 2018, she returned to TV opposite Oliver Hudson on the Ellen DeGeneres-produced ABC sitcom "Splitting Up Together," which was canceled after two seasons. In 2019, she launched the "Office Ladies" podcast with real-life bestie and former co-star Angela Kinsey on which they rewatch the series and share fun behind-the-scenes info. The duo released a book, "The Office BFFs," in 2022.

After "The Office," Rainn Wilson starred on the short-lived FOX series "Backstrom" as a police lieutenant and was a recurring cast member on "Roadies." On the big screen, he voiced Gargamel in "Smurfs: The Lost Village" in 2017 and had a role in "The Meg" in 2018. More recently, he returned to television with a recurring role on "Mom" in 2019 and 2020. In 2021, he voiced characters on two podcast series: "Killing Hollywood: The Cotton Club Murder" and "Dark Air with Terry Carnation," and in 2022, he appeared on the AMC TV show "Dark Winds." Off screen, Rainn's been married to writer Holiday Reinhorn, with whom he has a son, since 1995.

She also appeared on Miranda Sings' Netflix series, "Haters Back Off," from 2016 to 2017 and had a role in the streaming service's hit 2019 film "Tall Girl" (she also appeared in the 2022 sequel). In 2020, she appeared on season 1 of "Never Have I Ever" — the Netflix coming-of-age show co-created by fellow "The Office" alum Mindy Kaling — and on the Quibi miniseries "Home Movie: The Princess Bride" with dozens of other stars (including Rainn Wilson). In 2019, she started co-hosting the "Office Ladies" podcast with good friend and former co-star Jenna Fischer, with whom she released the book "The Office BFFs" in 2022. Angela — who has a daughter from her first marriage to "The Office" writer-producer Warren Lieberstein — wed actor-baker Joshua Snyder in 2016.

Paul Lieberstein starred as human resources director Toby Flenderson on "The Office" on top of his other duties: Paul also worked as a writer, director, producer and showrunner on the sitcom.

B.J. Novak brought office temp Ryan Howard to life on "The Office." Ryan, who was reluctantly involved with co-worker Kelly Kapoor, eventually worked his way up the corporate ladder. Behind the scenes, B.J. served as an executive producer and director on the sitcom.

B.J. Novak has continued to collaborate with his "The Office" family since wrapping the series in 2013. He worked on "The Newsroom" alongside Paul Lieberstein and had a role on former co-star Mindy Kaling's "The Mindy Project" from 2013 to 2015. B.J. also appeared on a few episodes of "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" from 2016 to 2018. On the big screen, he's appeared in 2014's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and 2016's "The Founder." The Harvard alum also published two books in 2014, which were both New York Times bestsellers: "One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories" and the children's book "The Book With No Pictures." In 2022, B.J. starred in the horror film "Vengeance," which he also wrote and directed. He and ex-girlfriend Mindy remain super-close pals: Not only do they often attend events together, but he's her kids' godfather.

Leslie David Baker starred as Stanley Hudson, the sales representative who had no problem telling boss Michael Scott when he was wrong.

Since serendipitously landing the role of Phyllis Lapin, Phyllis Smith has had a successful acting career. In 2015, she lent her voice to the critically acclaimed movie "Inside Out," in which she played Sadness. The actress more recently starred on the hit Netflix series "The OA." In 2021, she appeared in the comedy film "Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar." Not too bad for a former casting associate!

Creed Bratton played… well, Creed Bratton, on "The Office." The character was loosely based on the actor, who was a folk-rock musician in a band called "The Grass Roots" in the '60s. The former hippie, who was once homeless, became the regional manager during the last season of the show because he'd been with the company the longest.

Creed Bratton continued to act after "The Office" came to an end. The former Grass Roots rocker has since done episodes of "Adventure Time," "Grace and Frankie" and "Band of Robbers." In 2020, he appeared on an episode of the sci-fi comedy-drama "Upload" and more recently appeared in a few small films, "Hero Mode" and "Bart Bagalzby and the Garbage Genie." In 2021, the star wrapped up a music and comedy tour.

Oscar Nunez starred on "The Office" as Oscar Martinez, the accountant who was outed by boss Michael Scott on the Season 3 episode "Gay Witch Hunt." At the time, Oscar played one of the only openly gay characters on network television.

The actor landed roles on "Hot in Cleveland," "Melissa & Joey," "Chicago Fire," "Scream Queens" and "Life in Pieces." In 2014, he married Celeste Ackelson in a backyard wedding that was attended by many of his former "The Office" co-stars. A year later, they welcomed daughter Brylee. In 2020, he launched a "The Office"-centric Spotify podcast, "An Oral History Of The Office." The following year, he launched the iHeart podcast "The Office Deep Dive with Brian Baumgartner." He also remains a wildly popular pick on Cameo, the celebrity video-sharing website.

Kate Flannery brought brash office worker Meredith Palmer to life on "The Office." The single mother provided comic relief with her outlandish commentary and wild behavior throughout the series.

Trump Places the Blame for Group Chat 'Glitch'

President Donald Trump isn't too worried about the group text message scandal.
During a Tuesday, March 25, interview with Newsmax host Greg Kelly, the Republican leader addressed The Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg claiming he was mistakenly included in a chain with other members of the Trump administration about military strikes in Yemen. Despite the backlash, the commander-in-chief isn't troubled by the issue.

According to reports, there were 18 people along with Donald Trump in the text message chain including Vice President J.D. Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and national security adviser Mike Waltz, who led deliberations about the recent mission.
"There was no classified information. There was no problem. And the attack was a tremendous success," Trump said on Newsmax.

When asked about the public outrage over the matter and if it were true, Donald Trump said, "I can only go by what I've been told."
"I wasn't involved in it, but I was told by and the other people weren't involved at all. But I feel very comfortable, actually," the former reality star made clear.

Donald Trump pinned the mishap on a Michael Waltz staffer: "What it was, we believe, is somebody that was on the line with permission, somebody that was with Mike Waltz, worked for Mike Waltz at a lower level, had, I guess, Goldberg's number or called through the app and somehow this guy ended up on the call," Trump explained of Jeffrey Goldberg's inclusion in the chat.
Trump doubled down on blaming Watlz while speaking with NBC News. "It was one of Michael's people on the phone. A staffer had [Goldberg's] number on there," he said.

Despite Donald Trump's explanation, Michael Waltz told a different story during an interview with Fox News' Laura Ingraham, claiming "a staffer wasn't responsible."  
"Look, I take full responsibility," the former Army Special Forces officer said. "I built the group. My job is to make sure everything's coordinated."

Michael Waltz went on to slam Jeffrey Goldberg while he emphasized how he didn't know how the journalist ended up in the chain.
"I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but of all the people out there, somehow this guy who has lied about the president, who has lied to Gold Star families, lied to their attorneys and gone to Russia hoax, gone to just all kinds of lengths to lie and smear the president of the United States, and he's the one that somehow gets on somebody's contact and then gets sucked into this group," Waltz noted.

Jasmine Crockett spoke at a dinner for the Human Rights Campaign on Saturday, March 22, where she threw jabs at Greg Abbott.
"We in these hot-a** Texas streets, honey," Crockett said.
"Y'all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there, Come on now! And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot a** mess, honey," she added.

Greg Abbott has been paralyzed since 1984, and social media users viewed Jasmine Crockett's comments as insensitive to the governor's condition.

"This woman is trash," conservative content creator Charlie Kirk said on X.
"Now Crockett is making fun of a disabled person. @JasmineForUS is absolute trash and should be censured," another said. "There's absolutely no place in Congress for a hate-filled moron like her."

However, Jasmine Crockett defended her words on X.
"I wasn't thinking about the governor's condition — I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors, deliberately stoking tension and fear among the most vulnerable," she claimed in an X post on Tuesday, March 25. "At no point did I mention or allude to his condition."
"I'm even more appalled that the very people who unequivocally support [Donald] Trump — a man known for racially insensitive nicknames and mocking those with disabilities — are now outraged," she wrote.

Meanwhile, Jasmine Crockett's office doubled down on her sentiments.
"The Congresswoman, in no way, meant any harm toward the Governor OR meant to take lightly any medical conditions that he may have," a spokesperson said in a statement.
"The Congresswoman has and will continue to advocate for the needs of our disabled neighbors across TX-30, the State of Texas, and our Country as a whole," they added.

Greg Abbott also responded to Jasmine Crockett's comments while on Fox News.
"It's another day and another disaster by the Democrats. The reality is they have no vision, no policy. They have nothing to sell but hate, and Americans are not buying it," the Republican told Sean Hannity.
"It's one reason why Texas is going to remain red," he added.

Jasmine Crockett's fans pointed out the inconsistencies in the public's response to her.
"Stop with the performative outrage MAGA," one X user wrote. "You're not offended by Jasmine Crockett calling Greg Abbott, Governor Hot Wheels."
"You had no issues with voting in a rapist, racist, habitual liar and felon into the presidency," they continued. "I thought y'all liked it when people tell it like it is?"

Jasmine Crockett's followers also pointed out that supporters of Donald Trump and the Republican party have used dog whistles and racial innuendos toward the civil rights attorney.
"Don't let Jasmine Crockett calling Greg Abbott 'Governor Hot Wheels' distract you from his desire to take healthcare away from Texas women & children," someone stressed. "Don't let that distract you from how his state is 41st in education."
"MAGA is mad that Rep. Jasmine Crockett referred to Greg Abbott as 'Hot Wheels,'" another wrote. "Remember, these are the same people who refer to her as 'ghetto trash.'"

Trump Targets Jenner & Block in New Executive Order
On Tuesday, March 25, President Donald Trump issued a new executive order that appears to take aim at the law firm Jenner & Block. 
The move follows similar actions taken in recent weeks against other legal firms perceived to be linked to Trump's past legal issues. The president specifically singled out Jenner & Block for once employing Andrew Weissmann, the former deputy to Special Counsel Robert Mueller during the Russia probe into the 2016 Trump campaign.

Although Andrew Weissmann left Jenner & Block in 2021 and is currently a professor at NYU Law, his public role has remained high-profile. Since 2019, he has appeared on MSNBC as a legal analyst, and in 2023, he began co-hosting the network's "Prosecuting Donald Trump" podcast after Donald Trump's indictment in New York. 
At Tuesday's event, Trump referred to Weissmann as a "bad guy," and the executive order he signed called the firm's past hiring of Weissmann "entirely unjustified." 
The order further stated that Jenner & Block "has abandoned the profession's highest ideals."
Broader Criticism of Law Firms
The order didn't stop with Andrew Weissmann. It included broader accusations against legal firms, claiming, "Many big firms take actions that threaten public safety and national security, limit constitutional freedoms, degrade the quality of American elections, or undermine bedrock American principles." 
In particular, the president took issue with firms offering free legal services. 

Ironically, just last week, Donald Trump had celebrated securing $40 million in pro bono work from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison — a firm he had previously targeted for employing Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor involved in his business fraud case that led to 34 felony convictions.
Legal Pushback and Retractions
Donald Trump later withdrew his executive order against Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison after the firm complied with his requests. 
Meanwhile, another targeted firm, Perkins Coie, saw a federal judge step in and temporarily block the president's order against it. 
These moves illustrate the increasing legal and political tension between the Trump administration and prominent law firms connected to figures from past investigations or prosecutions involving the then-former president.
Jenner & Block Responds to Trump's Order
In response to the executive order, Jenner & Block released a statement through a spokesperson, referencing the temporary block issued in a similar case. 
The firm stated, "We remain focused on serving and safeguarding our clients' interests with the dedication, integrity and expertise that has defined our firm for more than 100 years and will pursue all appropriate remedies."

Donald Trump said Elon Musk has done "plenty of right."
"He's basically a patriot," Trump told Greg Kelly before admitting he "hardly knew" the tech tycoon before his 2024 presidential campaign.

Donald Trump later praised Elon Musk, who is originally from South Africa, for his allegiance to the U.S.
"He's a wonderful patriot; he loves the country," the president shared. "But he's never asked me — think of this, and he's got plenty of right to, I guess, doesn't mean I'm gonna do it, I probably won't — but he's never asked me for a favor."

Donald Trump is leaning on Elon Musk to use DOGE to decrease government spending, but the organization has been greatly criticized.
"We're getting down to a point we think probably over the next two or three months, we'll be pretty much satisfied with the people that are working hard and want to be members of the administration and our country," Trump said in a cabinet meeting, according to Fortune.
"Our country was riddled with fat," he added. "And we're getting rid of the fat."

At the beginning of March, Donald Trump turned the White House front lawn into a Tesla showroom after the company's stock began to decline.
"They're harming a great American company," he said in reference to Elon Musk. "He's built this great company, and he shouldn't be penalized because he's a patriot."

Donald Trump pledged his support for Tesla in a Truth Social post.
"I'm going to buy a brand new Tesla tomorrow morning as a show of confidence and support for Elon Musk, a truly great American," he wrote. 

"I haven't bought a new car in a long time," Trump said.

In his State of the Union Address, Donald Trump acknowledged Elon Musk's contributions.
"To further combat inflation, we will not only be reducing the cost of energy, but we'll be ending the flagrant waste of taxpayer dollars," the former reality star said. "And to that end, I have created the brand-new Department of Government Efficiency — DOGE."
"Perhaps you've heard of it — perhaps — which is headed by Elon Musk, who is in the gallery tonight," he continued.

Donald Trump later attempted to paint Elon Musk's position at DOGE as selfless.
"Thank you, Elon.  He's working very hard," he said. "He didn't need this. He didn't need this. Thank you very much. We appreciate it. 
"Everybody here, even this side, appreciates it, I believe," Trump stated. "They just don't want to admit that."

Threat Assessment Says U.S. Can't Handle Foreign Adversaries

U.S. Intelligence Flags China as the Leading Global Threat
A new threat assessment released Tuesday, March 25, by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) highlights a growing alignment between America's four main adversaries: China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. 
The report identified China as the "actor most capable of threatening U.S. interests globally, though it is also more cautious than Russia, Iran and North Korea about risking its economic and diplomatic image in the world by being too aggressive and disruptive." 
During a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing later that day, Chairman Tom Cotton warned, "Many of the threats we face are truly existential. Communist China is actively working to replace the United States as the world's dominant superpower. Given these threats, we have to ask are our intelligence agencies well-postured against these threats? I'm afraid the answer is no, at least not yet."

Here are four main takeaways from the assessment to keep in mind.

China and Russia Accelerate Military and Cyber Tactics
ODNI's report described China's tactics as multifaceted, involving military posturing, economic leverage and even influence operations. "China is using complex, whole-of-government campaigns featuring coercive military, economic, and influence operations short of war to assert its positions and strength against others, reserving more destructive tools for full-scale conflict," it read.
The report added that in 2025, China is expected to "apply stronger coercive pressure against Taiwan" and continue advancing its maritime claims in contested regions — much like Russia did with Ukraine in 2022. 
The report also warned that China is the "most active and persistent" cyber threat to both the U.S. government and private sector and "almost certainly has a multifaceted, national-level strategy designed to displace the United States as the world's most influential AI power by 2030."
Russia, meanwhile, is developing a more survivable nuclear force, according to ODNI Director Tulsi Gabbard. She told lawmakers, "Russia has the battlefield advantage [and] is grinding forward slowly." 
Evidence of Axis-Like Cooperation Against the U.S.
The report detailed how these nations are increasingly supporting each other, especially through the lens of the Ukraine conflict. Numerous analysts have cited for years how China, Iran, North Korea and Russia, would likely be the new version of the Axis powers in a World War III scenario.
"[China] is providing economic and security assistance to Russia's war in Ukraine through support to Moscow's defense industrial base, including by providing dual-use material and components for weapons," the assessment read. "China's support has improved Russia's ability to overcome material losses in the war and launch strikes into Ukraine… [and] to withstand U.S. sanctions."
It also noted, "Iran has become a key military supplier to Russia, especially of UAVs [drones], and in exchange, Moscow has offered Tehran military and technical support to advance Iranian weapons, intelligence, and cyber capabilities." 
As for Pyongyang's involvement, "North Korea has sent munitions, missiles, and thousands of combat troops to Russia to support the latter's war against Ukraine."
Tulsi Gabbard remarked, "North Korea's growing links to Russia have allowed Pyongyang to reduce its dependence on China and gain access to 'stronger strategic and conventional capabilities' to challenge the U.S."
Iran's Nuclear Ambitions and Chemical Weapons Concerns
Tulsi Gabbard also addressed concerns over Iran's nuclear program. She told senators, "Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader [Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003." 
Still, she acknowledged, "Iran's enriched uranium stockpile is at its highest levels and is unprecedented for a state without nuclear weapons." 
The ODNI report warned, "In the past year, there has been an erosion of a decades-long taboo on discussing nuclear weapons in public that has emboldened nuclear weapons advocates within Iran's decision-making apparatus. Khamenei remains the final decision-maker over Iran's nuclear program, to include any decision to develop nuclear weapons."
Cartels and Terrorism
Tulsi Gabbard expanded the scope of threats to include transnational crime. "Threats presented by several non-state actors: Cartels, gangs and other transnational criminal organizations in our part of the world are engaging in a wide array of illicit activity to endanger the health, welfare and safety of everyday Americans," she said.
She further observed, "For a year-long period ending in October 2024, cartels were largely responsible for the deaths of more than 54,000 US citizens from synthetic opioids." 
Senator Martin Heinrich questioned why Canada was excluded from the fentanyl trafficking discussion, to which Gabbard replied, "The focus in my opening and the ATA [annual threat assessment] was really to focus on the most extreme threats in that area."
The report also brought renewed attention to jihadist threats, citing the New Year's Eve ISIS-inspired attack in New Orleans that left 15 dead.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was excited about interrogating PBS CEO Paula Kerger and NPR CEO Katherine Maher.
"I'm looking forward to holding the hearing tomorrow at 10 a.m. where we will be shining an intense spotlight on how Americans' hard-earned tax dollars have been used by PBS and NPR, and the type of public broadcasting programs and radio shows they have been pushing across the country for decades," Greene said on The Chris Salcedo Show on Tuesday, March 25.

According to Marjorie Taylor Greene, PBS and NPR often support Democratic politicians.
"It has leaned further and further left, so much so that they now have 'Drag Queen Story Time' instead of good old Sesame Street," Greene said.
"They are now part of transing children, brainwashing children about gender, which proved to be one of the most important issues in the 2024 presidential election. That was a big loser for Democrats," she alleged.

Donald Trump's administration has been accused of infringing on freedom of speech, but Marjorie Taylor Greene claimed they're doing the opposite.
"We also support the First Amendment," the congresswoman said.
"We support their right to be able to, you know, publish their message, put their broadcasting and their programs out, but we don't think the American people should be taxed to pay for it," she continued.

"We're a big believer in the private business industry, so we support these radio stations and these TV channels to be able to carry on with business as usual," Marjorie Taylor Greene continued.

The House subcommitee shared their concerns in an official statement.
"The CEOs will be asked to explain why the demonstrably biased news coverage they produce for an increasingly narrow and elitist audience should continue to be funded by the broad taxpaying public," the lawmakers said.

The lawmakers were fearful that NPR and PBS withheld information from their audience.
"Both organizations have repeatedly undermined the trust of Americans by ignoring stories that were damaging to the Biden Administration, dismissing calls to perform more balanced reporting, and continuing to pursue partisan coverage," the committee said in a statement.
"This hearing will assess whether the American taxpayer should continue to subsidize NPR and PBS," they added.

Despite President Donald Trump's theory that a "lower level" member of Michael Watlz's staff was responsible for putting Jeffrey Goldberg in the group message with 18 other administration members, the former Army Special Forces officer claims that was not the case.
"Well, look, a staffer wasn't responsible," Waltz told Laura Ingraham during their sit-down. "Look, I take full responsibility. I built the group. My job is to make sure everything's coordinated."

When Laura Ingraham questioned Michael Waltz on how Jeffrey Goldberg's number got into the mix, the official gave a clear explanation — and did not mince words.
"Have you ever had somebody's contact that shows their name and then you have somebody else's number there?" he asked the host. "So, of course I didn't see this loser in the group. It looked like someone else. Now, whether he did it deliberately or it happened by some other technical means is something we're trying to figure out."

Michael Watlz didn't hold back when dissing Jeffrey Goldberg — whom he labeled "vile" — for going public with the mishap in an article as a potential political take-down.
"I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but of all the people out there, somehow this guy who has lied about the president, who has lied to Gold Star families, lied to their attorneys and gone to Russia hoax, gone to just all kinds of lengths to lie and smear the president of the United States and he's the one that somehow gets on somebody's contact and then gets sucked into this group," Waltz said of the journalist.

Michael Waltz revealed DOGE specialist Elon Musk will be helping the White House figure out the glitch to keep information more confidential in the future — and he couldn't resist a parting shot at Jeffrey Goldberg.
"I just talked to Elon on the way here. We've got the best technical minds looking at how this happened," he said. "But I can tell you for 100% — I don't know this guy. I know him by his horrible reputation. And he really is the bottom scum of journalists."

Biden Informant Pardoned by Trump

Trump Pardons Devon Archer, Citing Unfair Treatment
President Donald Trump issued a full pardon Tuesday, March 25, to Devon Archer, former business associate of Hunter Biden, calling his conviction unjust. 
"I think he was treated very unfairly," Trump said at the White House. "And I looked at the record, studied the record, and he was a victim of a crime, as far as I'm concerned. So we're going to undo that." 
Trump signed the pardon during an event with Archer and Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry. "Congratulations, Devon!!" he exclaimed. 
Archer later told the New York Post, "I want to extend my deepest thanks to President Trump. I am grateful to the president for recognizing that I was the victim of a convoluted lawfare effort intended to destroy and silence me."

Archer Thanks Trump, Attacks the Bidens
In his public statement, Devon Archer placed blame for his legal troubles on former President Joe Biden's family. "Like so many people, my life was devastated by the Biden family's selfish disregard for the truth and for the peace of mind and happiness of others. The Bidens talk about justice, but they don't mean it." 
He also acknowledged support from former Biden business associate Tony Bobulinski and expressed gratitude to his wife for standing by him. 
"I want to thank my wife from the bottom of my heart for keeping the family intact in these fragile years. I never wanted any of this brought upon my family, [but] I now have the opportunity to return my full focus to family, friends and professional life," he said.
Background on Archer's Conviction and Legal Battle
Devon Archer was convicted in 2018 for helping sell more than $60 million in fraudulent bonds connected to a South Dakota Native American tribe. The charges included conspiracy to commit securities fraud and securities fraud. 
He was sentenced to a year in prison, ordered to forfeit $15.7 million and pay $43.4 million in restitution. Hunter Biden, who served as vice chairman at Burnham Financial during the scheme and earned up to $200,000, was not charged. Though a district judge initially overturned Archer's conviction, citing insufficient evidence, an appeals court later reinstated it, and the Supreme Court declined to overturn the ruling in 2023. 
"He's getting a full pardon. He was s****** by the Bidens. They destroyed him like they tried to destroy a lot of people," Donald Trump told the New York Post after meeting Devon at the NCAA wrestling championships in Philadelphia.
Archer's Testimony in Biden Business Dealings
Devon Archer later became a key witness in the House GOP's investigation into Joe Biden's alleged ties to his family's business operations. He testified in 2023 that Joe had contact with Hunter Biden's business partners including "about 20 speaker-phone calls during business meetings." 
He also described Joe meeting with Chinese businessman Jonathan Li during a 2013 Beijing trip and greeting him via phone during a later visit. Archer further said the former president attended two dinners in Washington, D.C., in 2014 and 2015 with Hunter's foreign associates. 
Vadym Pozharskyi — an adviser to Burisma, the Ukrainian gas firm that paid Hunter up to $1 million annually — attended the 2015 dinner. Archer testified that Hunter briefly left a 2015 Dubai meeting with Burisma executives to "call D.C.," saying, "Listen, I did not hear this phone call, but he — he called his dad."
Russian Billionaire Links and Unanswered Questions
Devon Archer's testimony also involved Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina, who attended one of the D.C. dinners and wired $3.5 million to a company he co-owned with Hunter Biden in 2014. 
"This is my land, I was given it by God," Baturina told Archer in a past exchange, also warning, "Next time it won't be nice." 
Archer admitted not knowing the purpose of the large payment but confirmed Baturina invested over $100 million into his Rosemont Realty firm. 
Emails from Hunter's laptop show he actively courted Baturina for business. In one message, Archer wrote Hunter saying he was "[with] Yelena," and in another, Hunter said, "we should ask Yelena to fund a short-term development team to scope projects." 
Notably, Baturina and another associate, Vladimir Yevtushenko, were not sanctioned by the Joe Biden administration amid its crackdown on Russian oligarchs following the Ukraine invasion.

During the hearing to discuss the Gulf of America Act to support Donald Trump's executive order, Lauren Boebert made it clear that trolling the action may not have been the smartest move.
"I would caution my colleagues on the other side of the aisle to refrain from making fun of the Gulf of America because next up may end up being the District of America that we are working on," she said.

"So just, you know, keep the jokes at bay and maybe we'll just stick with the Gulf of America for now," Lauren Boebert advised her colleagues.
After Donald Trump took office in January, he declared he would be giving the oceanic basin — as well as other famous monuments — a new moniker. "A short time from now, we are going to be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and we will restore the name of a great president, William McKinley, to Mount McKinley, where it should be and where it belongs," he vowed in his inauguration speech.

While the renaming of Washington, D.C., has yet to take place, Donald Trump has often slammed the area for its high crime rate.
"We're cleaning up our city," the right-wing leader said during a recent speech at the Justice Department. "We're cleaning up this great capital and we're not going to have crime. And we're not going to stand for crime. And we're going to take the graffiti down. And we're already taking tents down there."

Last month, The Washington Post reported that Donald Trump would possibly sign another executive order to help battle public safety and homeless encampments in Washington D.C.

"We hope that Mr. Trump is serious about being a good partner. We have not always seen executive orders that make sense. We have too many illegal guns in D.C. and we have to be able to stop that, if Donald Trump can help with that then that can be a positive step for the people of D.C." Shadow Senator Paul Strauss explained in a statement.

'Money Pouring In' — Trump Touts Foreign Companies Investing Billions in U.S.

Trump Celebrates Hyundai's U.S. Expansion
During a White House event on Monday, March 24, Bloomberg reported that President Donald Trump praised Hyundai Motor Company's major new investment in American manufacturing, calling it proof that his administration's tariff policy is working. 
"We're delighted to report that Hyundai is announcing a major $5.8 billion investment in American manufacturing," the president said, standing alongside Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry and company executives. 
The South Korean automaker will build a new steel facility in Louisiana, which Trump said will produce more than 2.7 million metric tons of steel annually. "And then there'll be major expansion after that," he observed. "Money is pouring in and we want to keep it that way," he said, referring to the announcement as a "clear demonstration that tariffs very strongly work."

Hyundai's Long-Term Investment Strategy
In a statement, Hyundai confirmed it will invest approximately $21 billion in the U.S. by 2028, aiming to create around 14,000 direct jobs. This includes $9 billion to boost annual vehicle production to 1.2 million units, and $12 billion for other projects — including the new steel plant. 
Hyundai Chairman Chung Euisun stated, "It's deepening our partnership with the United States and reinforcing our shared vision for American industrial leadership." 
The automaker also plans to purchase $3 billion worth of U.S. liquefied natural gas as part of the initiative.
Tariffs, Trade Policy and Economic Impact
Hyundai's announcement follows a broader trend of foreign firms shifting production to the U.S. amid Donald Trump's aggressive trade policies. The administration has already imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum and is preparing to roll out further reciprocal levies on April 2. 
"I may give a lot of countries breaks but it's reciprocal, but we might be even nicer than that," Trump said, hinting at exemptions for select nations. 

He also repeated plans for more tariffs "having to do with automobiles, cars and having also to do a little bit with lumber down the road, lumber and chips." 
These trade measures have caused concern in financial markets, with fears they could trigger an economic slowdown despite short-term gains for domestic manufacturers.
Hyundai's Localization Efforts in the U.S.
Hyundai's expansion includes its new electric vehicle factory in Savannah, Georgia — first announced in 2022 — which is now being retooled to manufacture hybrid models amid cooling demand for EVs.
Hyundai and its partners, SK On Co. and LG Energy Solution Ltd., are also investing in two joint battery ventures to increase production capacity. The forthcoming steel mill is expected to create about 1,500 jobs, and according to The Korea Economic Daily, it will serve Hyundai and Kia plants in the U.S. 
The decision aligns with Hyundai CEO Jose Munoz's previous statements about localizing production to shield the company from unpredictable policy changes.
Tariff Uncertainty and Industry Challenges
Despite enthusiasm over Hyundai's commitment, Donald Trump's broader tariff strategy continues to create unpredictability in the industrial sector. Earlier this month, the administration temporarily delayed auto-related tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada following pressure from U.S. automakers. 
"Tariff-related uncertainty" has become a major concern for industry analysts, with companies like Nucor Corp., Steel Dynamics Inc. and U.S. Steel warning of weak first-quarter earnings. 
Trump's shifting stance on tariffs has left many investors unsure, as efforts to incentivize domestic production compete with fears of suppressed demand and rising costs.

On Sunday, March 23, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account to express how much he disliked the painting by Sarah Boardman. The Republican leader even accused the artist of making former President Barack Obama's photo more flattering than his.
"Nobody likes a bad picture or painting of themselves, but the one in Colorado, in the State Capitol, put up by the Governor, along with all other Presidents, was purposefully distorted to a level that even I, perhaps, have never seen before," Trump lamented.

"The artist also did President Obama and he looks wonderful, but the one on me is truly the worst. She must have lost her talent as she got older. In any event, I would much prefer not having a picture than having this one, but many people from Colorado have called and written to complain," Donald Trump claimed about Sarah Boardman favoring Barack Obama.
The Apprentice alum then took aim at Colorado Governor Jared Polis for allowing the photograph to be seen by the public.

"In fact, they are actually angry about it! I am speaking on their behalf to the Radical Left Governor, Jared Polis, who is extremely weak on Crime, in particular with respect to Tren de Aragua, which practically took over Aurora (Don't worry, we saved it!), to take it down. Jared should be ashamed of himself!" Donald Trump added while slamming Jared Polis.
According to RadarOnline.com, the businessman is now considering going on Ozempic to get him more physically fit.

"Trump isn't impressed with the portrait, he ordered to come down straight away," an insider claimed about Donald Trump. "He genuinely thought it made him look huge and if that's what he really looks like, maybe Ozempic is the way to go."
Despite the right-wing politician's dismissal of her work, Sarah Boardman previously made it clear she has no biases when creating her art.

"My portrait of President Trump has been called thoughtful, non-confrontational, not angry, not happy, not tweeting," Sarah Boardman explained in a 2019 interview with the Colorado Times Recorder when her portrayal of Donald Trump was first unveiled.
"In five, 10, 15, 20 years, he will be another president on the wall who is only historical background and he needs to look neutral," she added.

Richard Simmons' Housekeeper Accused of Stealing $1M in Jewelry

Richard Simmons' family is suing his longtime housekeeper, Teresa Muro, over $1 million in jewelry as well as private notes and a computer that went missing after he died in the summer of 2024.
Before he died, the fitness entrepreneur appointed Muro and his brother, Leonard Simmons, to serve as co-administrators of his estate. But on March 18, Leonard filed legal paperwork demanding damages for property he claims Muro took without permission.

Teresa Muro fessed up to taking a couple pairs of Richard Simmons' workout shorts as mementos. She insists that aside from that, she hasn't taken any property that wasn't gifted to her by her former boss.
She previously filed her own legal documents claiming the fitness entrepreneur's brother, Leonard Simmons, tricked her into signing paperwork surrendering her rights to serve as co-administrator of Richard's estate.
Leonard has maintained that the housekeeper knew what she was agreeing to when she signed away her rights.
They're still hashing out the issue in court, with a judge temporarily reinstating Muro as a co-administrator of Richard's estate.

Richard Simmons' brother, Leonard Simmons, sheds light on the fitness entrepreneur's part-time living arrangement with Teresa Muro in his new legal filing, noting that while the housekeeper had her own condo near Richard's property, she also had a "single bedroom and bath next to the kitchen" in his home.
When Richard was alive, Leonardo and his wife "trusted that [Muro] would act in [Richard's] best interests," but "that trust has been grievously betrayed" in the wake of his death, Leonard says in the filing.
Leonardo goes on to claim that Muro refused to leave Richard's home after he died "so that it could be sold." Instead, he says, she stayed there "rent-free" for two and a half months.
"She only left after [Leonard] made it clear that he would evict her if she did not leave. Then, when she did leave, [Leonard] learned that a substantial amount of [Richard's] property – now property of the estate and [Richard's] trust – was missing. This includes over $1 million of [Richard's] jewelry, the lyrics that [he] had written for a musical he was working on, his computer, his signature workout clothes and collectible dolls and other fine art," Leonard's legal documents state.

Teresa Muro claims Richard Simmons gifted her several pieces of jewelry, but his brother, Leonard Simmons, says that's a lie.
He wants Muro to fork over the expensive bling — along with all other missing property and court-awarded damages — including an 18k panther-style Cartier watch worth $33K, an oval Cartier watch worth $47K, a diamond ring worth $187K, an emerald-cut diamond ring worth $219K, a diamond ring worth $112K, a ring worth nearly $116K, a diamond band set with gold and diamonds worth almost $40K, another diamond ring worth more than $20K, diamond cufflinks worth more than $5K and another pair of diamond cufflinks worth more than $4K.
Leonard says Richard filled out paperwork logging his jewelry collection five months before he died in July 2024. Richard specified in the documents that the listed jewels were "his personal property" and "in his possession."
But according to Leonard, when he asked Muro to show him the collection after Richard died, several items were missing. He goes on to allege that the housekeeper took some jewelry with her when he kicked her out of Richard's home on September 26, 2024 — even though he told her to leave behind the bling.
Leonard admits that Muro eventually returned some items of lesser value, but he believes she still has some valuable pieces in her possession.
Richard's handwritten notes, computer and other personal items are still missing.

Teresa Muro claims Richard Simmons gave her portions of his jewelry collection on Thanksgiving in 2014: "Richard came downstairs to the kitchen of [his home] with several pieces of jewelry and put them on the kitchen table. Richard placed a pink diamond ring on my finger and told me he was giving it to me. I was shocked but accepted this generous gift," she claims in legal paperwork.
"Later that day, at around dinnertime, Richard told me that he was giving me all the rest of the gifted jewelry on the kitchen table, saying that he would not wear it again and wanted me to have it. I thanked Richard for his generous gifts and took all the gifted jewelry that Richard gave me to my room where I kept it until I left [his home] on September 26, 2024," she continues.
She denies taking his song lyrics.
As for the fitness entrepreneur's old clothing, "I would like to keep the three pairs of striped shorts to remember Richard by but will turn them over to the Trust if requested. I do not have or know the whereabouts of any other 'exercise clothes' that Leonard claims are missing," Muro says.

Richard Simmons' brother, Leonard Simmons, says in his new legal filing that although he talked to the fitness entrepreneur on the phone regularly, they had not seen each other in person for several years before Richard died.
According to their lawyer, Leonard and his wife were "shocked" to learn after Richard died that "since their last visit, [he] had issues with dizziness and other falls including one in which his tooth was knocked out" and that "he had not sought medical treatment of any kind for many years."
"[Richard] had a significant fall the day before his death for which he had never been treated," Leonard's lawyer claims. "The medical examiner's report concluded [Richard] had a number of prior blunt traumatic injuries, a fractured left femur and cardiovascular disease, among other conditions. Despite seeing [Richard] on an almost daily basis, [Teresa] never disclosed [Richard's] health condition to his brother nor took steps to ensure that he received proper medical treatment, even though [Teresa] knew Leonard held [Richard's] special power of attorney."

Israeli Soldiers Allegedly Beat Oscar Winner

Just weeks after accepting an Academy Award in Los Angeles for No Other Land, filmmaker Hamdan Ballal recounted a harrowing experience involving physical assault and detention. 
Speaking from a West Bank hospital, Ballal described how he was attacked by an Israeli settler and then repeatedly beaten by soldiers: "He kicked my head like a football," the director said of settler Shem Tov Luski. 
After the assault, Ballal said he was detained, blindfolded for more than 20 hours and subjected to repeated abuse. "When they say 'Oscar', you understand. When they say your name, you understand," he told the Associated Press, indicating he believes he was attacked because of his high profile as a celebrated filmmaker.

Conflicting Accounts and Continued Violence
The Israeli military has yet to respond to the allegations that its soldiers beat Hamdan Ballal. 
Shem Tov Luski, named by Ballal as the attacker, denied involvement and claimed he was responding to Palestinians who were throwing stones at his car. "He broke my window, threw a stone at my chest," Luski told the AP. 
He said he led soldiers to Ballal's house but denied hitting him or damaging any property. Still, evidence at the scene told a different story: blood was visible near Ballal's home, the family car's windows were smashed, and neighbors pointed out a water tank with damage they say came from settlers. 
Witnesses reported roughly two dozen settlers and Israeli police entered the village of Susiya at sunset, causing destruction before soldiers arrived.
Detention and Legal Response
Hamdan Ballal and two other Palestinians were taken into custody by Israeli forces. According to his attorney Lea Tsemel, they received only minimal medical care at an army base and were unreachable by legal counsel for several hours. 
Ballal recalled his detention as frigid and disorienting: "All my body is pain," he said after his release on Tuesday, March 25. 
Doctors confirmed bruises, facial abrasions and other minor injuries. The other two detainees also showed signs of abuse. Luski, who has a history of confrontations with Ballal, had previously been recorded telling him, "This is my land, I was given it by God," and "Next time it won't be nice." 
He even mocked Ballal with references to Sde Teiman prison, saying, "R*** for a higher cause," and blowing him a kiss.
Global Spotlight on 'No Other Land' and the Fallout
No Other Land, co-directed by Palestinians Hamdan Ballal and Basel Adra alongside Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, highlights the destruction of Palestinian homes in Masafer Yatta, an area declared a military zone by Israel in the 1980s. 
Adra says violent incidents have escalated since the Oscar win: "We're living in dark days here, in Gaza, and all of the West Bank," he said. "Nobody's stopping this."

White House Wants Sponsors for Easter Event

There will be major changes to the White House's Easter Egg Roll this year.
Harbinger — the outside production company hired by President Donald Trump and his administration to put on the April event — announced they were looking for corporate sponsors to help fund the annual holiday gathering. However, the move isn't going over well with people in Washington, D.C.

According to a document obtained by CNN, sponsorships for companies participating in the 2025 Easter Egg Roll go from $75,000 to $200,000. The deal includes a promise of logo and branding opportunities during the festivities.
The American Egg Board and other private donors have funded the event without taxpayer dollars since 1878. Donald Trump's team and the Harbinger will give the money to the White House Historical Association.
The corporate takeover has caused many concerns over anyone possibly using public office to gain private money.

"This is an enterprise. This is not your grandmother's Easter Egg Roll, where people line up outside the gate and roll an egg, get a little gift bag and walk out," an official from Harbinger explained about the upcoming event.

The company revealed that any potential sponsors would "provide financial support, activities and giveaways to enhance the event while gaining valuable brand visibility and national recognition."
Other benefits will include "naming rights for key areas or elements," "sponsor logos featured on event signage" and "custom-branded baskets, snacks/beverages, or souvenirs."

Sponsors will also get the chance to meet First Lady Melania Trump at an "invite-only brunch hosted inside the White House by FLOTUS."
Despite ongoing criticism, the White House Historical Association — who will receive the money made — reassured the public the funds would be handled in the best interest of American citizens.
"For many presidencies, the White House Historical Association has collaborated with White House staff to facilitate a public gathering such as the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. And as we do with other gifts to the White House collection, we receive contributions and in-kind gifts that are used on the grounds that day," the Association President Stewart McLaurin explained to CNN.

Richard Painter — a former staffer for the White House Counsel's Office under past President George W. Bush — was stunned by the bold entrepreneurial move.
"That would have been vetoed in about 30 seconds in my day," he claimed to the outlet. "We're not running this like a football stadium where you get all logos all over the place for kicking in money."

Chief Counsel and Executive Director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington Donald Sherman was also shocked by the offer for people to buy into the event.
"I understand that there are corporate sponsors for the Easter Egg Roll," he said. "What I have not seen before is sort of the outright solicitation and the use of the imprimatur of the White House to give corporate sponsorship."

Trump Admin Brushes Off Air Strikes Leak

Jeffrey Goldberg Accidentally Added to Security Chat
Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, revealed on Monday, March 24,  that he was mistakenly included in a Signal group chat involving top Donald Trump administration officials — among them Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. 
The group was discussing potential military strikes against the Houthis in Yemen in early March. The encrypted chat, sent in the days before the U.S. launched air and naval operations on March 15, reportedly came his way after National Security Advisor Michael Waltz added him by mistake. 
Goldberg recounted, "I also could not believe that the national security adviser to the president would be so reckless as to include the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic in such discussions with senior U.S. officials, up to and including the vice president."

Internal Debate Over Houthi Strikes
The messages revealed intense debate within the administration over whether to proceed with strikes on the Houthis immediately or to wait. Vice President J.D. Vance expressed early hesitation, writing, "I think we are making a mistake." 
He voiced concern about public understanding and economic fallout: "I am not sure the president is aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now. There's a further risk that we see a moderate to severe spike in oil prices." Still, he added, "I am willing to support the consensus of the team and keep these concerns to myself. But there is a strong argument for delaying this a month, doing the messaging work on why this matters, seeing where the economy is, etc."
Hegseth and Vance Exchange Views
Pete Hegseth supported J.D. Vance's concerns and emphasized messaging would be a challenge, stating, "I think messaging is going to be tough no matter what — nobody knows who the Houthis are, which is why we would need to stay focused on: 1. Biden failed and 2. Iran funded." 
Later, Vance agreed to move forward, stating, "If you think we should do it let's go. I just hate bailing Europe out again." 
In a reply that captured the mood of many in the conversation, Hegseth responded, "I fully share your loathing of European free-loading. It's PATHETIC."
White House Defends National Security Team
Once the group chat's existence was revealed, the Donald Trump White House acknowledged the mistake. Jeffrey Goldberg initially thought the messages could be a targeted hoax due to, in his words, the administration's "contentious relationship with journalists," but ultimately concluded it was an error. 
National Security Council spokesperson Brian Hughes confirmed, "This appears to be an authentic message chain, and we are reviewing how an inadvertent number was added to the chain." 
He further observed, "The thread is a demonstration of the deep and thoughtful policy coordination between senior officials. The ongoing success of the Houthi operation demonstrates that there were no threats to troops or national security."
Trump and Musk Respond to the Leak
President Donald Trump, meanwhile, found humor in the situation. After Elon Musk mocked The Atlantic, Trump reposted his comment: "Best place to hide a dead body is page 2 of The Atlantic magazine, because no one ever goes there," Musk wrote on X. 
Musk also shared a Babylon Bee headline that read, "4D Chess: Genius Trump Leaks War Plans To The Atlantic Where No One Will Ever See Them."
Despite the leak, the Trump administration stood by its national security leadership. 
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that the president continues to trust his advisers, saying, "As President Trump said, the attacks on the Houthis have been highly successful and effective. President Trump continues to have the utmost confidence in his national security team, including National Security Advisor Mike Waltz."

On Sunday, March 23, Donald Trump's administration announced Vice President J.D. Vance's wife, Usha Vance — along with White House National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and Energy Secretary Chris Wright — will be making her way to Greenland in the coming weeks.
"The very aggressive American pressure against Greenlandic society is now so serious that the level cannot be raised any higher," Prime Minister Mute B. Egede told the Sermitsiaq newspaper.

"Until recently, we could trust the Americans, who were our allies and friends and with whom we enjoyed working closely. But that time is over," Mute B. Egede said. "What is the national security adviser doing in Greenland? The only purpose is to demonstrate power over us."
"His mere presence in Greenland will no doubt fuel belief in [Donald] Trump's mission — and the pressure will increase," Mute added.

Donald Trump has not been shy about wanting to take over Greenland. "I think we're going to get it one way or the other," he told a joint session of Congress earlier this month.

J.D. Vance has backed his boss' desire to acquire the region: "Here's the thing which I think a lot of folks don't appreciate about Greenland: It's really important to our national security," he told Fox News on Sunday, March 23.

J.D. Vance pointed out how Donald Trump's administration is seeking "more territorial interest in the island" than they have now.
"That is what President Trump is going to do because he doesn't care what the Europeans scream at us; he cares about putting the interests of American citizens first," the former Ohio senator explained.

FBI Launches Tesla Task Force

According to the New York Post, the FBI has been notified of 48 violent crimes in the last month targeting people's cars, charging stations and dealerships in America.

The new team tackling the issue will be comprised of ten people who have worked at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in the Treasury Department. There will also be agents from the entity's Counterterrorism Division including its Domestic Terrorism Operations Section and Weapons of Mass Destruction department.

President Donald Trump has strongly condemned the actions against Elon Musk's company and products: "I look forward to watching the sick terrorist thugs get 20-year jail sentences for what they are doing to Elon Musk and Tesla," the Republican leader wrote on Truth Social on March 21.
"Perhaps they could serve them in the prisons of El Salvador, which have become so recently famous for such lovely conditions!" he proposed as punishment.

A representative for the FBI made it clear that the crimes against Tesla would be made a top priority under their leader, Kash Patel.
"[FBI] Director [Kash] Patel has been unequivocally clear: The FBI will be relentless in its mission to protect the American people," a spokesperson told the outlet. "Acts of violence, vandalism and domestic terrorism — like the recent Tesla attacks — will be pursued with the full force of the law."

Former FBI supervisory special agent and director of education and training at the U.S. Concealed Carry Association, Rob Chadwick, agrees the attacks should be prosecuted to the highest extent of the law.  
"These attacks clearly meet the FBI's established definition of domestic terrorism," he told the New York Post. "We're talking about coordinated, violent acts targeting a specific company, motivated by ideological beliefs — whether environmental, political, or social."

Rob Chadwick noted how he supports the FBI labeling the actions "domestic terrorism" despite the backlash.
"The FBI defines domestic terrorism as violent, criminal acts committed by individuals or groups within the United States, motivated by domestic ideological goals, to intimidate or coerce a civilian population or influence government policy," he said. "These are ideologically driven attacks meant to intimidate — and that puts them squarely in the FBI's crosshairs. Those breaking the law or using violence to intimidate others will feel the full weight of the justice system."

Marco Rubio said of the former first lady, "Nobody is above the law — not even Hillary Clinton, even though she thinks she is."

Marco Rubio has been vocal about South Africa's attempt to address the historical land dispossession caused during the country's colonial and Apartheid periods.
"South Africa's leaders and politicians must take action to protect Afrikaner and other disfavored minorities," Rubio told X followers on Monday, March 24.
"The United States is proud to offer those individuals who qualify for admission to our nation amid this continued horrible threat of violence," the secretary of state added.

Donald Trump shared his disappointment in South Africa's president, Cyril Ramaphosa.
"In shocking disregard of its citizens' rights, the Republic of South Africa recently enacted Expropriation Act 13 of 2024, to enable the government of South Africa to seize ethnic minority Afrikaners' agricultural property without compensation," Trump wrote in a February executive order.

South African Ambassador to the United States Embrahim Rasool criticized Donald Trump and his administration for their approach to South African policies before his March 15 exit.
"What Donald Trump is launching is an assault on incumbency, those who are in power, by mobilizing a supremacism against the incumbency, at home, and, I think I've illustrated, abroad as well," Rasool said.

Embrahim Rasool went on to criticize Donald Trump's agenda: "The supremacist assault on incumbency, we see it in the domestic politics of the USA, the MAGA movement, the Make America Great Again movement, as a response not simply to a supremacist instinct, but to very clear data that shows great demographic shifts in the USA in which the voting electorate in the USA is projected to become 48% white," he said.

After hearing Embrahim Rasool's comments, Marco Rubio said the ambassador wasn't welcome in the U.S. anymore.
"South Africa's Ambassador to the United States is no longer welcome in our great country," he wrote on X.
"Emrahim Rasool is a race-baiting politician who hates America and hates @POTUS. We have nothing to discuss with him and so he is considered PERSONA NON GRATA," Rubio added.

In February, Donald Trump complained about South Africa on Truth Social: "South Africa is confiscating land, and treating certain classes of people VERY BADLY," he wrote. "It is a bad situation that the Radical Left Media doesn't want to so much as mention."

South Africa is attempting to repair the economic inequalities colonization and Apartheid caused, but Donald Trump doesn't approve of the efforts.
"A massive Human Rights VIOLATION, at a minimum, is happening for all to see. The United States won't stand for it, we will act," Trump has said. "Also, I will be cutting off all future funding to South Africa until a full investigation of this situation has been completed!"

According to CBS News' White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs, Kristi Noem wants to dismantle the agency.
"'We are going to eliminate FEMA,' @Sec_Noem says in Cabinet meeting with [Donald] Trump," Jacobs wrote on Monday, March 24, on X.

Senator Pete Welch of Vermont discussed Donald Trump's administration's decision.
"The Trump Administration's grand plan for victims of natural disasters is to abandon them—and it's a complete non-starter," Welch said in a statement.
Eliminating FEMA's ability to respond after a disaster hits would be catastrophic — not only for flood victims in Vermont — but for hurricane victims in the Carolinas, tornado victims in Kansas and wildfire victims in California.

In recent years, wildfires, hurricanes and more have devastated communities across the U.S.
"This rash decision will harm ongoing disaster recovery efforts, and make it impossible to respond after the next natural disaster," Pete Welch continued.
"I'm the first to say we need to reform and improve FEMA, but we can't do that if the agency has been illegally demolished," he added.

New York Governor Kathy Hochul also shared her disappointment in Kristi Noem's comments.
"Trump's DHS Secretary just said: 'We will eliminate FEMA.' I've seen the toll hurricanes, snowstorms and floods take on our communities," Hochul wrote on X.
"I've met New Yorkers who've lost everything to extreme weather. They deserve to know that government will be there when disaster strikes," she added.
