More details of Stephen 'tWitch' Boss' shocking death come to light

Stephen "tWitch" Boss checked into a motel just one mile from his Los Angeles-area house on Monday, and he showed no signs of unhappiness while arriving, staff said.

The following day, on Tuesday, Dec. 13, the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" star's body was found in the bathroom of his motel room after an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Momodu Mansaray/Getty Images

Staffers at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, Calif., told TMZ that tWitch "didn't appear to be in any sort of distress and wasn't visibly upset about anything" when he checked in. Further, he booked the room for just one night and only carried a small bag, which police confiscated, Radar said.

The "So You Think You Can Dance" alum's body was discovered by a motel employee after he missed his checkout time at 11 a.m. The employee used a key card to gain entry, and that's when tWitch was found. Soon after, at 11:15 a.m., a motel manager called 911 and notified police of tWitch's body.

It seems that neither staff nor other motel guests heard the gunshot, and no visible suicide note was found.

TMZ reported that tWitch's wife, "Dancing With The Stars" pro Allison Holker, ran to the police station on Tuesday to report her husband missing, indicating he wasn't home but his car was, which was out of the ordinary. It's not known why she waited 24 hours to report him missing.

The death comes as a shock to many, particularly given that tWitch always seemed to be the epitome of happiness on "Ellen" and his other shows, including "Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings," which he cohosted with Allison.

JC Olivera/FilmMagic

Following his death, Allison released a statement to People magazine, writing, "Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory."

Allison and tWitch celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary last week.

James Cameron accused of animal cruelty for holding 'Avatar' event at dolphin show

James Cameron is under fire and being accused of "endorsing cruelty of marine parks" for holding a press conference for "Avatar" at a captive dolphin show in Japan.

The famed director hyped up his newest film, "Avatar: The Way of Water," by reportedly telling attendees, "Welcome to Pandora." Just then, dolphins entered the pool with two trainers, The Daily Mail said.

James, alongside others in the film, proceeded to take questions and speak about the film while more than six dolphins performed tricks at the Tokyo marine park.

Perhaps expecting a negative reaction from animal advocates, James joked, "I'm sure everybody asked the animals permission to be in the show."

He added: "I love these animals, I love their intelligence. I love their sociability, their ability to connect with us and to interact with us and learn from us."

Karwai Tang/WireImage

Following the press conference-masquerading-as-a-dolphin-show, a spokesman for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said, "James Cameron waited 13 years for the development of the right technology to bring the underwater world of Pandora to life. So why on Earth didn't he pause for just five minutes to consider whether he should have allowed himself to be seen as endorsing the cruelty of marine parks?"

The statement, given to Plant Based News, said, "Confining far-ranging dolphins to concrete tanks and using them as surfboards – riding on their faces in circus-style shows – is something the villains of Avatar would do. PETA urges him to reject such animal misery outright and encourages everyone to shun these cruel parks."

Gareth Cattermole/Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images f

Twitter soon lit up with others critical of the decision to hold the press conference at a marine park.

"@JimCameron had a chance to be a voice for dolphins held in captivity and make a stand. Instead he chose to ignore them so he could sell his #Avatar movie," one person said.

Another added, "You should have never exploited captive dolphins in Avatar tour press! Disappointed in your decision, Never applaud any wild animal forced to perform for you!"

Ironically, James is a vegan of 10 years.

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias spent $100K on a quinceañera party for his Chihuahua: 'I spared no expense'

That's one pricey pooch!

Popular comedian Gabriel Iglesias reportedly dropped $100,000 on a lavish quinceañera for his chihuahua, Risa, and he doesn't regret the big bill one bit.

"Party of the year all for my little princess," Gabriel captioned an Instagram video of him pushing the four-legged lady in a custom carriage. "Risa has given me so many years of happiness. I just wanted to celebrate her. I even wore pants."

Photos from the party showed catering stations, a deejay, various performers, a band, a balloon maker, caricature artists and a Build-a-Bear-inspired station.

Gabriel, whose standup special "Stadium Fluffy" was recently released on Netflix, told the "Today" show that he got the idea for the bash after seeing a video of a man throwing his dog a party. His first thought was, "No way he loves his dog more than I love my dog. Challenge accepted."

Risa is a pretty consistent fixture on Gabriel's social media.

"I've had dogs since I was a kid and Risa was the only girl dog I've ever had," he said. "Since I've had her, from day one, she's always been in my hoodie. She's always been in my jacket. We're very close."

"So I said, 'Alright, I'm gonna do this once. I've never had a daughter, I've never had a kid of my own, so I'm gonna go full blown on this one,'" he continued. "And I did."

Michael Kovac/Getty Images for IMDb

Although quinceañeras are typically reserved for young women when they turn 15, Risa is a bit older, as she's "between 16 and 17" years old, the funnyman said. Throughout the evening, the pooch even had three costume changes.

More than 300 guests attended the festivities, and they were encouraged to bring dogs.

"I went full blown and people say, 'Oh, you wasted money,' but it's like, no," he says. "I'm celebrating something that means the world to me. I'm not setting money on fire every day. But this particular night, yes. So I spared no expense. It was a very expensive night, but very memorable."

In thinking back to the party, Gabriel said Risa never left his side.

"The entire night, I had Risa in my arms, and that's usually the case. Everybody wanted to see her, everybody wanted to take a picture and stuff like that, which is cool," he said. "I think Risa's favorite part was when everybody left and I took her to Jack in the Box to get chicken nuggets."

Amy Robach's '20/20′ co-anchor 'wants no part' of T.J. Holmes drama

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' romance is rubbing co-workers the wrong way.

A source told Page Six that Amy's "20/20" co-anchor David Muir "wants no part" of the drama.

"He's not having it. He's the face of the evening news and nothing about him ever makes it into the papers. He's very private and no one at ABC likes the way Amy and T.J. handled it," a source said.

Bryan Bedder/New York Road Runners via Getty

T.J. and Amy secret relationship was exposed in late November after photos of the "GMA3" cohosts were published. Soon after, the two were taken off the air due to their alleged affair

"Every anchor is upset that Amy and T.J. have caused such drama," a second source told Page Six. "No one wants to be associated with this, and Amy and David already aren't that close right now."

Although Amy and T.J. are currently both estranged from their spouses (Amy's divorce from Andrew Shue is nearly finalized,) there's suspicion that their relationship began while both were married.

Noam Galai/Getty Images

Since the romance was outed, T.J. and Amy have largely avoided speaking about it. However, T.J. made a joke about the romance on "GMA3" before the duo got pulled from the airwaves. Multiple ABC staffers were upset about T.J.'s comments, wherein he called it a "great week."

"If the decision is to not address it, then don't address it! T.J. made light of it on-air. Amy's smarter than that, but how else is she supposed to respond?" the first source said.

Amy is also upset over how the relationship is playing out.

"She's a serious hard news journalist, and this is a major distraction," one TV insider said. "Becoming co-anchor of '20/20′ was very important to her. She was obsessed with getting that job. This affair is bringing her down and changing her reputation."

Patti LaBelle addresses fans following concert bomb threat

Patti LaBelle is reassuring her fans that all is well after being rushed off the stage during a concert due to a bomb threat.

"Everything is fine. I'm okay," she said in a social media video. "We're all good because we woke up this morning."

The legendary singer trended over the weekend after social media videos showed three men swiftly pulling her off a Milwaukee stage as she was speaking to the crowd.

"Wait!," she demanded as her security team grabbed her and whisked her away. In real time, no explanation was given. Soon after, police told concertgoers that a bomb threat was called in.

"All patrons have been safely evacuated," a police statement said. "Police are clearing the facility at this time. The investigation is fluid and ongoing."

Several fans posted social media videos showing them leaving the venue.

"We do not know if we can go back inside to the venue," the woman filming the video was heard saying, per Page Six. "It would be up to the Riverside Theater if we can go back inside but now everything's on halt."

One person, presumably a concert attendee, tweeted, "Security removed her hella abruptly about 3 songs in. Few moments later a voice from the intercom said there was a threat & we had to leave. Didn't specify. Was stuck in the parking garage for an hour. Wild they were delaying folks to pay & it was a bomb threat in the area."

Danica McKellar addresses Marvel star leaving Great American Family network over anti-LGBTQ stance

Danica McKellar supports her friend Neal Bledsoe's decision to exit Great American Family, but she's not about to follow in his footsteps.

Jim Spellman/Getty Images

Neal, a fixture in Christmas movies, announced that he was leaving GAF after Candace Cameron Bure's anti-LGBTQIA+ comments

"Neal is a wonderful person," the "Wonder Years" star told Fox News Digital. "He's such a great actor and I have enjoyed working with him so much. He and I both share our love and support of the LGBT community for sure… (but) I don't agree with his interpretation of her comments. I just didn't see them the same way."

Last month, Candace made headlines after leaving the Hallmark Channel to become the chief creative officer for GAF. In speaking about the switch with the Wall Street Journal, the "Full House" actress said the network had no plans to feature same-sex couples. "I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core," Candace told WSJ. The team at GAF, Candace said, are "Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment."

Soon after, Neal, who appeared in Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D," said he was leaving GAF, telling Variety, "I hope GAF will change, but until everyone can be represented in their films with pride, my choice is clear."

He added, "I want to be very clear: my support for the LGBTQIA+ community is unconditional – nothing is worth my silence or their ability to live and love freely in a world that we are lucky enough to share with them."

Rodin Eckenroth/Getty Images

Danica — who frequently stars opposite Neal in holiday movies, including most recently GAF's "Christmas at the Drive-In" — backs Candace and think her comments are unfairly being interpreted as absolute.

"[Bure] started the sentence with 'I think,' which is not definitive, and she ended it with 'at its core,' which doesn't mean exclusively," Danica said. "I don't agree with his interpretation, but I love him to death and I wish him well."

Danica's comments come just a few weeks after she publicly spoke about supporting same-sex couples and being a "new Christian."

"As I always have, I celebrate all forms of healthy love between adults, and I support representation. I was thrilled to have a role in a couple episodes of Home Economics earlier this year, and my husband and I were privileged to attend my good friend's beautiful wedding to his husband earlier this year in Mexico. At the time, we commented that it was one of the purest expressions of love we had ever seen," she wrote on Instagram. "The idea that Christianity would judge any form of love simply baffles me."

She added, "I'm still new to my faith journey, but as far as I can tell, Jesus loves and includes everyone. That's kind of His thing…"

Neal, for the record, commented on her Nov. 23 post, writing, "Bravo, McKellar. Proud of you."

Ozzy Osbourne struggling to walk following spine surgery

It's been six months since Ozzy Osbourne had spine surgery, but he's still struggling to stay on his feet.

The Black Sabbath rocker, 74, is worried that he will not be able to play a show in Finland in May if his condition doesn't improve quickly.

While speaking about his health on Sirius XM online radio via The Sun, Ozzy said, "I mean, I want to be out there. I want to be doing it."

Ozzy underwent surgery in June after being warned that ignoring his ailing back could lead to very serious problems.

"That surgeon told me if I didn't have the surgery there would be a good chance I would be paralyzed from the neck down," he said. "So I thought… I have got to have it done. I can't begin to tell you how f****** frustrating life has become."

The rock icon has dealt with his fair share of health issues over the years, but things are different this time.

"It is amazing how you go along in life and one stupid thing can screw everything up for a long time. I have never been ill this long in my life," he said. "When I was a downbeat drunken drug addict I would not be out this long."

"It is just as frustrating as f***," he added.

Cardi B reveals she had biopolymers removed from her behind in 'really crazy process'

Cardi B is coming clean… no ifs, ands or butts.

The rapper took to Instagram Live on Wednesday, Dec. 7, to update fans on her life. In doing so, she ended up revealing that she underwent a procedure in which her butt injections were removed.

Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

"A lot of people thought as soon as I gave birth [to son Wave, 15 months] I got my body done," she said, according to People magazine. "In August I got surgery and I removed 95% of my biopolymers… if you don't know what it is, it's a** shots. It was a really crazy process."

The "Bodak Yellow" singer previously spoke about getting the shots illegally in a basement in 2014 for $800. Now, she's warning women against following in her footsteps.

"All I'm going to say is that if you're young, if you're 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you're too skinny, and you be like 'OMG I don't have enough fat to put in my a**,' so you result to a** shots, DON'T!" she warned.

Cardi then turned her attention to Brazilian butt lifts.

"When it comes to BBLs, if y'all want advice from me, before you get your BBL done you have to make sure your blood levels are all right," she added. "If a doctor says your blood levels are too low or you have diabetes or whatever, don't do it."

Cardi's body revelation comes just a week after she made headlines for her finances — she made $1 million dollars for a 35-minute performance during Miami's Art Basel.

Johnny Knoxville sued over prank, man claims 'dead pony' left him in distress

Johnny Knoxille's high jinks might cost him.

A man has filed a lawsuit against the prankster for allegedly causing him emotional distress for an at-home stunt that he feels went too far.

According to TMZ, Khalil Khan claims he was hired by Johnny via the Internet to do some simple electrical work. The whole thing, though, was an elaborate prank, he said in court papers.

AFF-USA/Shutterstock

Khalil, who was supposedly hired to fix a dimmer switch, said a lamp went out as he began working. Soon after, a young girl, who he says was an actress, became hysterical and told him he killed her pony who was on life support. In her mind, the horse died when the power went out during the repair.

The electrician says he was then led to a room and was shown what he believed to be a dead horse. Soon after, he said his car was towed and faux drugs were planted. One of the men who took the car — a man who was also in on the prank — told Khalil he'd be arrested for drug possession if he called the cops to report the towing.

Eventually, Johnny let Khalil in on the scam and offered the shaken electrician money for his troubles. Khalil, though, wasn't laughing.

The whole incident, he said, has caused him "emotional distress, worry, anxiety, and possibly harm to his business reputation," TMZ said.

CBS star Gayle King weighs in on ABC's 'Good Morning America' affair scandal: 'It's messy'

Good morning messy! A week after the "Good Morning America" scandal became national news, fellow a.m. anchor Gayle King is giving her two cents.

"I do look at the situation and I do say, 'It's very interesting what happening over there," she said on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen."

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, who host "GMA3," have reportedly maintained a secret relationship for months. Both are in the midst of separations with their spouses. Amy's divorce is nearly finalized, but there is speculation that the romance began when they were both married.

"It's gotten very messy and very sloppy, I do think that," Gayle, who anchors competing show "CBS Mornings," said.

Gayle applauded "Good Morning America" for not taking taking the duo off the air initially, noting that they are "two consenting adults." However, T.J. and Amy were taken off the air on Dec. 5 due to their alleged affair.

"The more you read, it's just very messy," Gayle said. "To me it's just a sad situation because you've got kids involved, you've got families involved, and I keep thinking about that."

Dia Dipasupil/Getty Images

Gayle's comments came after TMZ reported that ABC's human resources and legal departments are trying to determine if the couple pressured staffers to keep the romance hidden or used company resources to meet romantically, such as cars and drivers.

Just a few days earlier, ABC President Kim Godwin said the relationship was "not a violation of company policy."

"I really have taken the last few days to think about and work through what I think is best for the ABC News organization," Godwin explained on an editorial call, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. "These decisions are not easy, they are not knee jerk, but they are necessary for the brand and for our priority which, you guys know, are all of us — the people here at ABC."

T.J. and Amy are still a couple.

How Ricky Gervais feels after James Corden 'ripped off' his Netflix comedy special joke

James Corden reached out to Ricky Gervais to apologize after the late night host "ripped off" a joke that the standup comedian did years earlier in a Netflix special.

In late October, James told a joke on the "Late Late Show" about Twitter not exactly being a "town square" like Elon Musk claims it is. The bit, using guitar lessons as a punch line, sounded oddly familiar to many viewers, and that's because it was almost a carbon copy of the joke Ricky did in 2018's "Humanity," a hugely popular comedy special.

Marion Curtis/StarPix for Netf/REX/Shutterstock

Ricky and his fans immediately called out James for the theft. However, all seems to be forgiven, as Ricky said James reached out to him to apologize.

"I said, 'Don't worry about it,'" Ricky told the "Headliners" podcast, believing that James' writers were actually at fault. "Whatever you think of James Corden there is no way he knowingly ripped off my joke and thought he'd get away with it."

The "After Life" star didn't seem as understanding two month ago, tweeting James' monologue and sarcastically noting the "guitar lessons" joke was "brilliant," knowing full well that he did it first. Even though it's water under the bridge now, Ricky doesn't regret calling out James, as others have done recently.

"No, because I'm allowed. I didn't how it had happened. And I thought it was funny. I thought it was absurd that it was such an obvious rip-off," he said. "But again I don't know how he got to it because the writer must have walked him through and said, 'Do this and do that.' Or he saw it five years ago and completely forgot about it and thought he'd made it up. That can happen as well."

"There are some plagiarists but a lot of it is genuinely accidental," Ricky continued. "So that is clearly my routine but I don't think he came up with it at all. I think a writer pitched that to him and didn't tell him it was mine, or the writer forgot. I don't know. I want to be fair."

Earl Gibson III/Shutterstock

Obviously giving the embattled late night host the benefit of the doubt, Ricky said, "What I don't believe is James Corden watched that and thought, 'I can just rip that off'. There's just no way. There is no way James Corden watched that and thought, 'I can get away with this.' It was the biggest special of the year. There is no way he thought, 'I can rip him off'. He was horrified. No chance."

Rod Stewart's 11-year-old son rushed to hospital in an ambulance after collapsing during soccer game

Rod Stewart's 11-year-old son, Aiden, was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance after collapsing during a soccer game.

Things initially looked fairly grim and quite serious, but Rod eventually confirmed that Aiden suffered a panic attack.

"We thought my boy had a heart attack," he told FourFourTwo. "He was going blue and was unconscious until he calmed down. It was scary, but it turned out to be a panic attack."

"The lad wanted to do well, pulled on the Hoops in Scotland for his dad," Rod, 77, added.

The "Forever Young" singer noted that another incident happened at his son's game as well.

"Another boy fell backwards and banged his head — he's still not back," the Grammy winner said. "In all of my days watching football, that's the only time two ambulances had been called."

It's not known when the incident happened, as Rod didn't disclose those details.

Aiden is one of Rod's eight children; he shares the boy and brother Alastair, 17, with his current wife, Penny Lancaster-Stewart. Rod is also the father to daughter Sarah, 59, daughter Kimberly, 43, son Sean, 42, daughter Ruby, 35, daughter Renee, 30, and son Liam, 28.
