Anne Heche was having 'good times' in her final Instagram post

Anne Heche was happily living it up with friends in her final Instagram.

The "Volcano" actress was all smiles back on July 14 in a selfie with Matthew Lawrence, Joey Lawrence and his wife Samantha Cope.

"Good times on set with Lawrence Bros!," she captioned the two snaps in which she donned a vibrant pink outfit.

The photo will likely serve as the last time Anne posted to Instagram.

Late Thursday night, Anne's rep said the actress suffered a severe brain injury in a fiery car accident last week, and the Emmy-winning actress is not expected to survive.

"Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remains in a coma, in critical condition," the rep says in a statement on behalf of Heche's family.

The statement continued, "It has long been her choice to donate her organs and she's being kept on life support to determine if any are viable."

Anne has been in a coma ever since crashing her Mini Cooper into a Los Angeles-area house on Aug. 5. That crash sparked a blaze that fully engulfed the home.

"She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention," a rep for the actress said on Aug. 8. "She is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident."

TV insiders suspect Savannah Guthrie's 'Today' tardiness is due to reported feud with Hoda Kotb

Savannah Guthrie showed up late to "Today" on Thursday, claiming she overslept. However, TV insiders think her tardiness was deliberate and a direct response to her rumored feud with co-anchor Hoda Kotb.

The affable "Today" host got to the studio 20 minutes before "Today" went to air to show NBC News "who is the real boss," a TV insider told Page Six, adding that there's little chance Savannah was actually catching a few too many zzzz's.

"This would never happen. She is literally the $40 million dollar woman. She is showing them who is the boss and that they can't do the show without her," the source said. "When Savannah doesn't show up for work the entire force of NBC News is dispatched to find out where she is."

"Savannah simply isn't allowed to 'go off the grid', what if there is breaking news?," the insider noted, adding that she's picked up promptly at 4 a.m. every day. "Producers, assistants, executives, security, hair and makeup people are all waiting for her to arrive. If she's one minute late, everyone would notice. If she's 10 minutes late, it's CODE RED."

Savannah is the most consequential part of the show, the source said, and she knows it.

"There is always a morning meeting ahead of the show, and if she isn't there at that point, we're talking about staff in hysterics and someone being called to break down her door," the source said.

While Savannah is seemingly indispensable, Hoda, who is on vacation this week, is arguably more of a fan favorite.

"When they come outside into the square, everyone is chanting Hoda's name, Hoda is the bigger star. Savannah believes she is the real news anchor, she's a creature of Washington, she loves politics, she has the reporting and interviewing chops," a second source said. "Even some of the stars who appear on the show all to be interviewed by Hoda because she is so much friendlier."

The insider noted that there is "an underlying competitiveness" between the two women, which makes it hard to "pretend to be best friends."

"Savannah and Hoda are very tense around each other. Savannah was furious when Hoda was brought into the first hour of the show, she wants to be the queen bee, and flipped out on producers," the second source claimed.

A third source also questioned Savannah's claim that she overslept.

"She is a total pro and would never want to look like she isn't the full professional," the source said.

Tiffany Haddish recalls turning down $10M endorsement offer because her 'soul is worth more'

Despite once turning down an easy multimillion-dollar payday, Tiffany Haddish has no endorsement remorse.

In a chat with Cosmopolitan, the "Night School" actress recalled being offered $10 million to endorse a product, but she rejected it because it made her "feel like s***."

"I've turned down $10 million just to do a post because it didn't represent my brand," she said. "I turned down $10 million because my soul is worth more than that to me. My spirit, my integrity, how I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror every day."

Tiffany, who was once homeless and living in her car, didn't detail what she was asked to endorse, but said she'd "rather be flat broke" than take money for something she doesn't believe in. She has the same mentality with her movie roles.

"At first with acting roles, I used to just be like, 'What seems like fun?' Now it's, 'What seems like fun and what resonates with my soul?'" she said. "Then I ask, who else is working on it? Will it be my friends? What I've noticed lately, though, is that casting has been coming to me first. So I've learned how to fight better too."

Although Tiffany is a major name in Hollywood, she still doesn't automatically get to collaborate with everyone on her wish list.

"I kind of know what I'm doing," she said. "Give me an opportunity to make you richer, sir. I might not know how to keep a man, but I know how to make some money."

Likewise, the actress said she is very careful about her projects.

"I love and hate telling people no," she said. "I love it because it's for me—I have to take care of Tiffany. I hate it because nine times out of ten, whoever's asking me is somebody I probably really like and care about. If a friend wants me to do a show or something like that, I have to be honest … you just got to be selfish in a way, and I hate that feeling of being selfish, but I love the results."

Ellen DeGeneres reacts to Anne Heche's fiery crash, hospitalization

Ellen DeGeneres is pulling for her ex Anne Heche after the fiery car crash that's left the "Volcano" actress comatose.

"I don't want anyone to be hurt," Ellen told photographers, per Daily Mail.

The talk show host said she hasn't been "in touch" with her ex in years and "wouldn't know" how she's doing.

Ellen and Anne dated from 1997 to 2000.

This marks the first time the comedian has spoken about her ex since the Emmy nominee crashed her Mini Cooper car into a Los Angeles home. That crash sparked a blaze that engulfed the house. The home is a total loss.

TMZ reported on Thursday, Aug. 11, that Anne is being investigated for felony DUI because the woman inside the home Anne barreled through was apparently injured. Anne was hospitalized and lost consciousness immediately after the crash. She's been in a coma ever since and fighting for her life.

"She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention," her spokesperson said.

Police believe Anne was intoxicated and got a blood draw from her in the hospital. Authorities are waiting for blood results.

Amanda Seyfried recently added her first Emmy nomination — for her turn as Elizabeth Holmes in "The Dropout" — to her growing list of accolades, which also includes an Oscar nod for her performance in 2021's "Mank." But when she looks back on her decades-spanning career, the 36-year-old star says the recognition from others hasn't added up to nearly as much as the way she now views herself. That's a big difference from how she felt on sets in her late teens, when she recalls feeling pressured to take off her clothes if she wanted to keep working. "There's a respect level that I have never felt so fully around me," the actress and mother of two tells Porter magazine. "It has nothing to do with any level of fame or recognition or critical acclaim. Whatever it is, it's not because of 'Mank,' it's not because of 'The Dropout,' it's not about having seen my movies. I'm respected because I'm 36 years old and I know who the f*** I am." Though she survived her early Hollywood career without too many scars, she sometimes looks back and can't believe what she accepted as OK. "Being 19, walking around without my underwear on – like, are you kidding me? How did I let that happen?" she says, adding in what Porter describes as a "mocking" tone: "Oh, I know why: I was 19 and I didn't want to upset anybody, and I wanted to keep my job. That's why." Today, Amanda says "nothing can crush me completely" when it comes to her acting. "It's finally coming to the point of, it's OK to be proud of your work," she says. "It's OK to be proud, it's OK to have confidence – it's actually really important."

Steve Martin says he won't pursue acting after 'Only Murders in the Building'

Steve Martin is poised to hang up his acting hat after "Only Murders in the Building," his 17-time Emmy nominated comedy with Selena Gomez and Martin Short. "When this television show is done, I'm not going to seek others," Steve, 76, told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published this week. "I'm not going to seek other movies. I don't want to do cameos. This is, weirdly, it." The "Saturday Night Live" alum and longtime comedy writer famously starred in beloved films like "Planes, Trains and Automobiles," "Father of the Bride" and many others in addition to his long-running comedy career. He's also developed a wide following as a musician in the bluegrass world and is getting ready to publish his 12th book. He and Martin Short are also still touring their comedy show, "You Won't Believe What They Look Like Today!" which Steve says could come to a "natural end" if "somebody gets sick" or "somebody just wears out." But he adds that he "wouldn't do it without Marty." Steve's also in the process of raising a 9-year-old daughter with his wife, Anne Stringfield. "I have a family life that's really fun. To film a movie now, to go someplace else to live, I'm not willing to do that anymore. I can't disappear for three months," he told THR. "My wife keeps saying, 'You always say you're going to retire and then you always come up with something,.' I'm really not interested in retiring. I'm not. But I would just work a little less. Maybe."

Armie Hammer's exes, aunt address abuse allegations in new trailer for 'House of Hammer'

A new trailer for the upcoming docuseries, "House of Hammer," features stunning abuse allegations from Armie Hammer's exes, who accuse the star of detailing his alleged cannibalism fantasies about them, as well as sexual assault, threats of violence and more. The clip opens with Armie's ex, Courtney Vucekovich, who inspired multiple other women to share their stories after she came forward with her claims about the actor, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm here to talk about what happened in my relationship with Armie Hammer," Courtney says. "In the beginning, I felt like this was all perfect. This was amazing." She goes on to describe how Armie's compliments soon turned to boundary crossing, which then allegedly became increasingly terrifying and dangerous. Another ex shares similar experiences, detailing control maneuvers she soon determined were not born out of safe, consensual bedroom fantasies. The teaser also includes voice memos and messages from Armie that seem to corroborate the claims being levied against him. Near the end of the teaser, Armie's aunt, Casey Hammer, alleges the Hammer family has a long, multi-generational history of abuse, violence and power issues, telling the camera Armie's alleged behavior has roots that run deep for the Hammers. "The accusations of rape and abuse brought against Armie Hammer in the last few years are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Hammer family," Discovery's Jason Sarlanis tells THR. He says the network hopes the "courage" of the women "who came forward to share their stories … inspires others to continue meaningful conversations around abuse in our society." Armie reportedly sought in-patient treatment for sex addiction and substance abuse issues in 2021 after the abuse allegations against him came to light. The three-part series "House of Hammer" airs on Discovery+ on Sept. 2.

"Its my birthdayyyyyy." That's how b-day girl Kylie Jenner captioned a TikTok peek at her low-key 25th birthday brunch on Wednesday, Aug. 10. Kenan Thompson named 2022 Emmy Awards host ahead of Walk of Fame ceremony

It's already been a big week for "Saturday Night Live" veteran Kenan Thompson. On Tuesday, Aug. 9, NBC and the Television Academy announced the Emmy winner (and six-time nominee) will host the 2022 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles next month. Kenan, 44, is also slated to get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday. According to Variety, the producers of the Sept. 12 telecast took their time in finding this year's host, in the hopes of finding someone who "might shake things up." Now heading into his 20th season on "SNL," Kenan recently hosted both the 2021 People's Choice Awards and the same year's Kids Choice Awards. This year, "SNL" is up for best variety sketch series and outstanding writing for a variety series, in addiction to numerous acting and performance nominations.

Travis Barker defies doctor's orders, joins Machine Gun Kelly's tour with broken thumb after pancreatitis scare

For the second time this summer, Travis Barker is blowing off his doctor's advice to perform with Machine Gun Kelly for a few stops on the singer's "Mainstream Sellout Tour." MGK announced Travis' decision on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Aug. 10, though he took credit for talking the Blink-182 drummer into the potentially risky plan. "Against his doctor's orders AND with a broken thumb, I convinced @travisbarker to join us for the last couple days 🤘," MGK captioned a snap from a Facetime call with Travis. He also teased that Travis would be joining the band for the song "Love Race." The drummer was hospitalized with a reportedly "life-threatening" case of pancreatitis in late June. He returned to work last month for his first performance since the health scare, joining MGK at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, as his wife Kourtney Kardashian — along with MGK's fiancee Megan Fox — cheered him on, according to Page Six. Onstage in July, MGK admitted to the audience that Travis was "not supposed to be playing drums right now," before turning to the musician and asking him to join in for "one more song," despite their one song-only agreement. MGK's next show after his latest Travis add-on was slated for Wednesday in St. Louis, MO.

Anne Heche is still reportedly on a ventilator, in a coma following car crash

As of late in the day on Wednesday, Aug. 10, Anne Heche remained in a coma and was breathing with the help of a ventilator, following a car crash in Los Angeles, her rep told the Associated Press. "Shortly after the accident, Anne became unconscious, slipping into a coma and is in critical condition," the actor's rep said in an update. "She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention." CNN reports Anne, 53, remains under investigation for DUI and authorities obtained a warrant to test her blood after the high-speed crash on Friday, which destroyed a house. It reportedly took dozens of workers to remove the star from the car. As of late Tuesday, Anne's 20-year-old son Homer was "taking the lead" as his mother's health advocate, according to an Entertainment Tonight source.

"I felt very vulnerable," she said. "Also, no one on the set knew I was going through this. So, it was kind of nice to be able to just deal with that myself and no one else knew. Then it was harder when the whole world knew."

By then, Millie was dating current boyfriend Jake Bongiovi, who has helped her heal.

"When you get publicly humiliated this way—I felt so out of control and powerless," she told the publication. It felt like my life had finally turned a page and that I actually had ended a chapter that felt so f****** long."

She added, "Ultimately, all I wanted to do within my career is help young girls and young people out there know that I, too, go through things. I'm not this perfect person that is selling skin-care products and [who is] in 'Stranger Things.' I absolutely have made wrong decisions."

The luxurious resort that was home for Courtney for over a week has been a celebrity magnet for decades. The "Celebrity Skin" singer noted that she was staying in La Liz Suite, named for Elizabeth Taylor, which prompted her to share a story about the late icon.

While attending Elton's John's birthday one year, she recalled wearing a huge yellow diamond and sitting next to Liz and Donnatella Versace. Dame Elizabeth, Courtney said, didn't say "a single word" to anyone all night. Elizabeth donned a massive ring and "just sat with that beautiful Cheshire Cat smile," Courtney said.

Olivia Wilde slams ex Jason Sudeikis' 'outrageous legal tactics' amid custody fight

Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde's once-amicable split is a distant memory, as she now accuses him of trying to "embarrass" her in front of entertainment executives.

Back in April, the actress was served custody papers while speaking on stage in Las Vegas at the CinemaCon convention, a gathering of over 4,000 film executives and movie theater owners.

While Jason's team said he didn't know Olivia would be formally served as she gave a live presentation, she's calling his bluff.

"Jason's actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard. He could have served me discreetly, but instead he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible," she said in new court documents, which were obtained by MailOnline. "The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children's best interests."

The legal tactics was "outrageous," she insisted.

Jason, 46, and Olivia, 38, dated for nine years before splitting in late 2020. They share two children, son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 5. Both children were born in New York, which is where Jason wants to raise them. Olivia, he claims, has a different vision.

"First, Olivia said that if I did not reside full-time in Los Angeles, she would allow me to spend time with Otis and Daisy on weekends and during vacation periods – thus depriving me of my right to parent the children during important periods of their lives…," he said. "Second, Olivia said that she intended to relocate with the children to London following the close of school in 2023."

Olivia has been living primarily in London with boyfriend Harry Styles.

In his own legal paperwork, the "Ted Lasso" star said he was reluctant to serve Olivia and claimed that he wanted it done in a "benign" manner. He specifically requested that it not be done at Harry's home.

"I did not want service to take place at the home of Olivia's current partner because Otis and Daisy might be present. I did not want service to take place at the children's school because parents might be present," he said.

Speaking about the Olivia's dramatic serving on stage, Jason added, "I understand that the process server had only done her job; however, I deeply regret what happened. Olivia's talk was an important event for Olivia, both professionally and personally, and I am very, very sorry that the incident marred her special moment."

A source close to the "Saturday Night Live" alum tells People Pete "has been in trauma therapy" since April, "in large part" because of Kanye's ongoing harassment. "The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he's had to seek out help," the source explains. The rapper did take brief break from bullying Pete until Monday, Aug. 8, when news of Kim and Pete's recent split apparently inspired Kanye to share a fake New York Times headline reading, "Skete Davidson Dead at 28." The post had been taken down before the end of the day, but not before fans chastised Kanye for going too far, according to screenshots of the Instagram post and its comments that surfaced on social media. Despite the messy Kanye interactions, Pete "has no regrets for dating Kim and wants it to be made very clear that she's been nothing but supportive of him throughout their relationship," according to People's source, who added, "Moving forward he just wants to focus on his career." Kim, 41, and Pete, 28, reportedly ended their romance last week after about nine months of dating.

In what appears to be another financial victory for Johnny Depp, the star has reportedly re-signed with Dior to resume his post as the face of the brand's men's cologne Sauvage. Britney Spears is losing her battle with religion.

The pop star kicked off a feud with the Catholic church last week after indicating she wanted to get married at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif. However, she was seemingly told she couldn't tie the knot there for a variety of reasons, including the fact that she's not Catholic, which is a requirement.

While lamenting the perceived snub, a rep for the church retorted and said Britney never visited the place of worship, and records show that she never asked permission to marry there.

Her bluff theoretically called, Britney is now attempting to clarify her stance by muddied the waters. In an Instagram post, she insists she never lied about the church request, but also implies that she never personally asked the church permission to marry there.

The "Toxic" singer admits to getting "backlash" after her post, which has since been taken down.

"I'm writing this because the church said I never asked," she said. "I hired a wedding planner who has done Madonna's wedding and plenty more … he was extremely expensive and yes my first request was to get married in that church pictured."

Britney, who was raised Southern Baptist but has also studied Kabbalah, claims she sent her planner a cell phone picture of a wedding taking place at the church, indicating that she wanted to use the venue to marry Sam Asghari.

"I was told 6 weeks later … I could not get married there!!!," she wrote. "During the 2 years of Covid, I also wanted to go there … I was told no due to the pandemic … it's not a big deal, but I don't like being called a liar when their church says I never asked!!!"

Britney and Sam ended up tying the knot in the backyard of her home in June. The nuptials were attended by Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Madonna and more.

'Grease' costar recalls final conversation she had with Olivia Newton-John

Edith "Didi" Conn, who famously played Frenchy in "Grease," is opening up about the last conversation she had with longtime pal Olivia Newton-John.

In an interview with "Good Morning," Didi revealed that she spoke to the four-time Grammy winner just a few weeks ago. In that chat, Olivia acknowledged that her health was failing.

"She told me that she wasn't walking anymore and she had full-time care," Didi said, "but her husband, John, and her daughter, Chloe, were there all the time and she told me they were just so hopelessly devoted."

Olivia and Didi shot to fame together as members of the Pink Ladies in "Grease." Their friendship endured until Olivia, who played Sandy in the 1978 musical, passed on Aug. 8.

Did said she wanted to remember Olivia as being surrounded by "love and light."

"It just so happens that's how she would sign all her letters and her emails. 'Love and Light, Olivia,'" Didi added.

"I think I will remember her singing," Didi continued. "When she'd be doing concerts, she would sing as her encore, 'I Honestly Love You,' and she would put her hands out like this to her audience to say, 'I honestly love you.' And I think that's how I'll always remember her — this big heart who just cared so much for everybody. And we will honestly always love her too."

After Olivia's passing, many of her "Grease" costars paid tribute, including John Travolta, who played Danny Zuko, the love interest of Olivia's character.

"You made all of our lives so much better," John wrote on Instagram.

In thinking back to first meeting Olivia on the set of "Grease," Didi remembered thinking that the "Physical" singer was "gorgeous" and "perfect."

"She was nervous. The first scene we had together — coming on the first day of school — and she told me, she had been in another movie and it didn't go as well as she had hoped," Didi said. "So I just began improvising with her. I said, 'Oh, I'm so happy. I have a neighbor named Sandy who came from Australia and we just, you know, all of a sudden she's looking at me like, 'Is this in the script? What's going on here?' We started to play too and before we knew it, we were walking into Rydell and she thanked me afterwards and she said she would always be grateful for that."

In this week's episode of "Running Wild With Bear Grylls," Ashton Kutcher reveals he recently lost his ability to see, hear and maintain his sense of balance while battling a dangerous condition related to blood vessel inflammation. "Like two years ago, I had this weird, super rare form of vasculitis that like knocked out my vision, it knocked out my hearing, it knocked out like all my equilibrium," Ashton says in a sneak peek published by "Access Hollywood" on Monday, Aug. 8. "It took me like a year to build it all back up." Vasculitis can be caused by a number of things, including autoimmune problems in which the body mistakenly attacks its own blood vessels, or an allergy-like response to an antigen, according to the Mayo Clinic. Left untreated, it can cause blood vessel and tissue damage or aneurysms. "You don't really appreciate it until it's gone. Until you go, 'I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to see again, I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to hear again, I don't know if I'm ever going to be able to walk again,'" Ashton continues in the clip, adding that he's "lucky to be alive." Still, the star seems to have found a silver lining to his health scare. "The minute you start seeing your obstacles as things that are made for you, to give you what you need, then life starts to get fun, right?" he says. "You start surfing on top of your problems instead of living underneath them."

Kanye West has taken down a disturbing Instagram post that trolled Pete Davidson after his recent split from Kanye's ex, Kim Kardashian. He called out the streaming service over the weekend in a series of scathing social media posts, urging fans not to trust any claims that the series, "Mike," was made with his consent. The former boxer also accused Hulu of bidding to pay UFC president Dana White to promote the series, while failing to offer Mike himself payment for dramatizing his life story, including the scandals he faced after retiring from the ring. "Hulu stole my story. They're Goliath and I'm David. Heads will roll for this," Mike tweeted on Saturday, Aug. 6. "Hulu's model of stealing life rights of celebrities is egregiously greedy," he wrote in another post. "Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother Dana White millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master take over story about my life," Mike wrote on Instagram on Saturday. "He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity. I'll never forget what he did for me just like I'll never forget what Hulu stole from me." In another post, Mike warned: "Don't let Hulu fool you. I don't support their story about my life. It's not 1822. It's 2022. They stole my life story and didn't pay me. To Hulu executives I'm just a n***** they can sell on the auction block." As of Monday, Hulu hadn't commented on Mike's posts, but the president of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaiman, has further alleged Hulu "mislead" the organization into believing Mike authorized the series, then used WBC world title belts on the show. "I'm so upset to learn that his upcoming series were produced without [Mike's] involvement and consent," Mauricio tweeted on Saturday. "The @WBCBoxing was mislead by @hulu and we provided belts for production." He added, "Mike Tyson Is a legend RESPECT." "Mike" premieres on Hulu on Aug. 25.

Discovery star dies in street racing crash while filming reality show

Ryan Fellows, who starred in "Street Outlaws: Fastest in America," was killed in a car accident in Las Vegas while filming the Discovery show.

TMZ said the popular reality TV show, which premiered in 2013, was filming outside of Vegas in the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 7. While racing another car, Ryan reportedly lost control, causing his Nissan 240z to roll. In doing so, the car caught on fire.

Onlookers desperately tried to get Ryan out of the car, but weren't able to rescue him in time.

"The Street Outlaws family is heartbroken by the accident that led to the tragic death of Ryan Fellows. We extend our deepest sympathy to Ryan's loved ones as they process this sudden and devastating loss," a spokesperson for Discovery said.

Following the accident, filming was faulted.

A GoFundMe page states, "Ryan was an avid car enthusiast and was a road 'warrior' in many ways that extended to loves of basketball, cars and business in sales/advertising."

This the second serious situation involving "Street Outlaws" this year. Back in January, JJ Da Boss and his wife Tricia, both of whom are considered top cast members on the show, were hospitalized following a car accident while racing each other.

For months now, there have been whispers online that Florence Pugh had a falling out with Olivia Wilde after the mother of two directed the "Black Widow" actress — and Harry Styles — in the upcoming thriller "Don't Worry Darling." On July 30, Page Six shed some light on what allegedly went wrong between the two women: Florence reportedly took issue with Olivia falling for Harry while the "House" alum was still involved with then-fiancé Jason Sudeikis. "I can tell you for a fact that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well as Olivia was still with Jason when she first hooked up with Harry," said a source, adding that the "Ted Lasso" star and the two kids he shares with Olivia visited her on set "at the beginning a few times." A second Page Six source, however, insisted that Florence's decision to promote "Oppenheimer" over "Don't Worry Darling" had "nothing to do with a response to Olivia." Various anonymous sources have also alleged to Deux Moi that Florence and Harry were more than friendly co-stars when he started seeing Olivia, who also appears in "Don't Worry Darling," though those claims have not been confirmed by any major media outlets.

On Aug. 1, E! News reported that, according to a source, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson were "still going strong" and "making it work" as they were forced to spend some time apart while the "Saturday Night Live" alum shoots "Wizards!" in Australia. "The distance hasn't been an issue for Kim and Pete's relationship while he's been away filming," said the source, adding that the couple of nearly a year were "in constant communication." They reportedly chatted on FaceTime "consistently" and were "always getting quick phone calls in when they can." Noted the insider, "Kim loves that he's always making her laugh and he truly makes her day when they talk. She is still smitten over him and it just works for her." The source also noted that Pete planned to visit Kim in Los Angeles after he wraps "Wizards!" But just four days later, multiple media outlets reported that the comedian and the reality star called it quits. According to a second E! News source, they have "a lot of love and respect for each other" but ultimately realized that their busy schedules "made it really difficult to maintain a relationship." Added a Page Six source, "Pete knew it wasn't going to work. He'd been saying it for a while, and Kim knew it too. The distance was a big thing, and next month Pete starts shooting his new show in NYC and he's going to be busy with that." A second source told Page Six of the New York-based funnyman and the Los Angeles-based mother of four, "They're both bummed it didn't work out."

On July 30 — just three months after Ne-Yo and Crystal Renay Smith got remarried in Las Vegas after romantically reconciling following a brief 2020 split — she took to Instagram to publicly accuse him of serially cheating on her over the course of their eight-year relationship. Are congratulations in order? It depends on who you ask! On Aug. 2, Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee claimed that Wendy Williams recently told him she secretly married an NYPD officer named Henry. "She says, 'I'm married.' I'm like, 'What?' She's like, 'I got married.' I'm like, 'You got married when?' And she's like, 'I got married last week,'" he recalled. Wendy's representative then insisted to Us Weekly that the iconic radio host is "not married" but rather in the "really, really early stages" of a new relationship with a police officer. "She needs to take [the relationship] day by day. I can't control her," he said, adding that Wendy "wants to take things slow and really put her focus into launching [her new] podcast." On Aug. 2, Kendall Jenner took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of herself sitting in Devin Booker's lap as they vacationed together at Gozzer Ranch Golf & Lake Club in Idaho. Said a second Page Six source of the breakup, "What they had is really special. … I know they're both reeling. It's so sad. … They're both different and they came together and it just worked. On Saturday, Aug. 6, Alec Baldwin posted an emotional video on Instagram in support of Anne. "She is an amazingly talented woman," he said in the video. "I love you Anne. I love you and I think you are such a talented person. I hope everything is ok. I hope you come through this. My heart goes out to you. I'm sorry you had this tragic thing happen to you, and I'm sending you all my love."

Alec then implored others to "join" him in supporting the actress.

By and large, fans were not jumping aboard the Anne train with Alec.

"She put lives in danger," one person insisted. Another added, "She is lucky she didn't kill anyone."

The comments stem from a bizarre incident on Aug. 5. According to reports, Anne initially crashed her blue Mini Cooper into the garage of a Los Angeles apartment complex around 11 a.m. Video shows residents demanding Anne get out of her car, but she refused. Soon after, she put the damaged car in reverse and sped off. Other videos appear to show her speeding through neighbors and narrowing missing a person. TMZ said she also hit a car during the process.

A few moments after the garage incident, Anne allegedly crashed her car into a home in Los Angeles' Mar Vista area. The crash sparked a fire that engulfed the house. The home is a total loss.

CNN reported on Monday that Anne is being investigated for misdemeanor DUI and hit and run. The report said authorities were able to get a blood draw from Anne on the day of the incident, and they are awaiting the results.

Following Alec's post, some people said they hoped Anne was okay but felt that she has a lot of explaining to do.

"Hope she learned a tough lesson," one person said.

After a nine-month romance, Kim and Pete have gone their separate ways and both are said to be "bummed."

News of the split comes as Pete continues to film "Wizards!" in Australia. Kim, meanwhile, has been in Los Angeles with her kids.

"Pete knew it wasn't going to work. He'd been saying it for a while, and Kim knew it too," a source told Page Six. "The distance was a big thing, and next month Pete starts shooting his new show in NYC and he's going to be busy with that."

Kim, 41, and Pete, 28, began dating last fall following her hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live." The duo — who lives on different coasts — quickly began traveling across the country to be with each other.

Eventually, distance got the best of them, as Kim is firmly rooted in Los Angeles with her four children, whom she shares with ex Kanye West. In addition, the couple's age difference got the best of them.

A second source told Page Six, "They're both bummed it didn't work out."

The fact that Pete is across the world is a bit of a blessing in disguise, a pal said.

"Pete's been able to relax in Australia and really be himself, there hasn't been that much paparazzi," the friend said. "He needed some time to himself and Australia has allowed him that."

Edie McClurg, who famously starred in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and a slew of other films, is a victim of elder abuse, her family claims. Edie's family said in court paperwork, as reported by the New York Post on Aug. 2, that a man named Michael L. Ramos claims to be a "long time" friend and was attempting to marry her. As the 76-year-old suffers from dementia, her family believes Edie might not even be aware of what's happening. Michael, the court documents claim, managed to "finagle" his way into the actress' life and has been living in her home since 2017. Edie, who is under a conservatorship, has "never been involved [in] a romantic relationship" with Michael, her family insists, but fear that he "has or may be assaulting [Edie] and that she may not even know that it is happening to her." Michael has denied assaulting or sexually abusing Edie. The judge, the Post reported, ruled that Michael "may not enter into a valid marriage" with the actress.

Make no mistake about who Kevin Costner supports politically. On Aug. 1, Liz Cheney tweeted out a picture of the actor rocking a pro-Cheney T-shirt while on the set of his hit series "Yellowstone." The white tee read, "I'm for Liz Cheney." In her caption, the Wyoming congresswoman wrote, "Real men put country over party." The post trended on Twitter for a time. Despite her long history as a staunch conservative, Cheney is on the outs with Republicans after being one of 10 party members who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump following the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. She's also co-chair of the House select committee investigating the attack, in which rioters violently attempted to stop Congress from certifying President Joe Biden's victory. Crystal Smith filed for divorce, TMZ confirmed on Aug. 4, claiming her husband of more than six years recently fathered a child outside their marriage. It's a bird, it's a plane… it's Tom Cruise! The actor has been in England filming the seventh film in the "Mission: Impossible" franchise and had a funny exchange with a couple atop a mountain. Just moments before shooting a stunt for the movie, "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One," the actor arrived via helicopter to the top of England's High Crag. After noticing a couple relaxing on the mountain's peak, Tom apologized for the interruption. "Sorry for disturbing your peaceful walk with all the noise — I like your dog," Tom apparently shouted at Sarah Haygarth at the 2,440 foot summit. In sharing the moment with The Sun, Sarah recalled Tom getting dropped off and immediately getting his parachute ready, as though he was going to jump off the mountain and paraglide. Sarah shouted, "Are you really going to jump off there?" to which Tom nodded and simply replied, "See you later, folks." And just like that, Tom walked to the edge and jumped as his parachute opened.

Britney Spears comes for Catholic church over perceived wedding snub

Britney Spears continues to air her grievances, and she's now zeroed in on the Catholic church. On Tuesday, Aug. 2, the pop star said she wanted to get married in a specific church, but she was denied because she's not a practicing Catholic.

"This is where I originally wanted to get married during COVID 👰🏼‍♀️ !!!!" she wrote alongside an Instagram image of a couple getting married at the altar. "I wanted to go every Sunday … it's beautiful and they said it was temporarily shut down due to COVID !!!! Then 2 years later when I wanted to get married there they said I had to be catholic and go through TEST !!!!"

Still clearly peeved over the situation, Britney asked her Instagram followers, "Isn't church supposed to be open to all 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️⛪️ ????"

Britney was raised Southern Baptist but has also studied Kabbalah.

After Britney's post, the church claimed it was never contacted by the singer.

The "Toxic" singer and Sam Asghari ended up tying the knot in the backyard of her home in June. The nuptials were attended by Paris Hilton, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Madonna and more.

Although several of the pop star's most committed fans supported her, several others felt that Britney was a little out of bounds.

"You have to be Catholic to get married in a Catholic Church. It's always been that way," one person said, according to Page Six. Another told Brit, "Some traditions need to be respected Britney."

"I love Britney Spears but Catholic Churches are for the weddings of Catholics, and we shouldn't be expected to bend the rules of our church to accommodate those who just want to be apart of an aesthetic," a third noted.

"I got a lot of play at being a MILF and I got a lot of sexual action from 'American Pie,'" she told Variety. "There were so many benefits to doing that movie. I mean, there would be like 200 people that I would never have slept with."

Not only was Jennifer apparently busy in the bedroom after the role, but she was a hot commodity professionally, too. After "American Pie," she landed a slew of roles, something that was relatively new to her.

"Ten years of my life of auditioning," she says, "none of it added up to a job. The fear is gone when you're so used to losing. There's some freedom in that."

Those days of pleading for gigs seem far behind her, as she recently landed her first Emmy nomination for her work in "The White Lotus." Just last year, the actress revealed that she almost didn't take the role because she was unhappy with her weight.

"I just didn't want to be on camera that fat because of my excessive eating during COVID," she told Page Six last year. "I thought we were all going to die, I really did, so I was just eating myself to death. Vegan pizzas, sometimes five or six in a day."

Jennifer, 60, was even concocting a story about why she couldn't star in "The White Lotus," but a friend stepped in and convinced her to take the part.

"Jennifer this is all you have! What the f***?" she recalled the unnamed pal saying. "She was like, 'These opportunities don't come around, you idiot!'"

"We all need these friends," the actress explained. "A lot of actors make huge mistakes, I don't know why, we want a great moment to happen but then when it comes along we somehow talk ourselves out of it, I think that's very typical of an actor, to screw it up for themselves but I had a great friend that stopped me from doing that."

They welcomed four children together but shocked the world when they announced their split in May 2011. The same month they shared that they were separating, news broke that Arnold had fathered a child with one of their household staffers, illuminating the real reason for the demise of their 25-year marriage.

Clint Eastwood's first marriage, to Maggie Johnson, was incredibly lengthy by Hollywood standards. The couple wed in 1953, welcomed two children and remained married for 31 years before finally splitting. Clint Eastwood's second marriage was lengthy as well — and it too came to an end after 17 years in 2013. In 1996, he wed news anchor Dina Ruiz; they welcomed his youngest child, daughter Morgan, that same year. Dina went on to marry Scott in 2016.

The reality TV curse strikes again? Hulk Hogan married Linda Claridge in 1983. The couple welcomed daughter Brooke and son Nick during their marriage and went on to star on a VH1 reality show, "Hogan Knows Best," beginning in 2005. The show ran for two years and the same year it ended, their 24-year union did as well. Linda filed for divorce in 2007 and later revealed she suspected Hulk had been having an affair at the time of their split.

Late Hollywood legend Jerry Lewis had a 35-year run with his first wife, singer Patti Palmer. The couple shared six children — all boys, five biological and one they adopted together. Despite their seemingly happy union, once they broke up in 1980, the truth about their marriage started to come out. In 2011, Jerry himself opened up about his affairs with Marilyn Monroe and Marlene Dietrich, shedding light on why Patti was the one who filed for divorce.

Willow Smith weighs in on her father's infamous 2022 Oscars slap

Willow Smith is speaking out about the ongoing fallout from her dad, Will Smith's decision to slap Chris Rock onstage at the Oscars after the comic made a crack about Jada Pinkett Smith's bald head. In a new interview with Billboard published Friday, Aug. 5, Willow says the seemingly endless media response to the incident didn't "rock me as much as my own internal demons." She also suggests that being famous can mean being held to a different standard of expectations — one that can't always be met by people who are ultimately, well, people. "I see my whole family as being human, and I love and accept them for all their humanness," Willow says. "Because of the position that we're in, our humanness sometimes isn't accepted, and we're expected to act in a way that isn't conducive to a healthy human life and isn't conducive to being honest." When Chris made a joke about Jada's hair, or lack thereof, at the Oscars, he reportedly had no idea she'd shaved her head because she suffers from alopecia-related hair loss. He hasn't addressed the slap much beyond occasionally referencing it in standup routines. Will, meanwhile, issued another public apology on YouTube last week in which he said his "central trauma" is about "disappointing people … so it hurts psychologically and emotionally to know that I didn't live up to people's image and impression of me." He added, "The work I'm trying to do is I am deeply remorseful, and I'm trying to be remorseful without being ashamed of myself." Will then apologized directly to Chris, telling the comic, "My behavior was unacceptable, and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk."

As ABC announced Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro will join "The View" as Meghan McCain's permanent replacements on Thursday, Aug. 4, Meghan revealed the real reason she finally left the show last year. In an appearance on Thursday's "Commentary Magazine" podcast, Meghan confessed that after four tumultuous seasons of sparring with her liberal-minded co-hosts, it was one remark from Joy Behar that sent her over the edge. According to Meghan, that moment came the day returned from maternity leave. "I finally came back on the show," Meghan recalled, "… and Joy Behar said on air, 'Nobody missed you, we didn't miss you, you shouldn't have come back.' And I just — I started hysterically crying." She said she threw up, then called her brother, who helped her see it was time to quit. "I didn't feel supported when I had my baby, and I didn't feel supported coming back, and that was ultimately it," she explained. "That was why I left." Her decision was just fine with Joy, apparently, as are Meghan's replacements — particularly, Alyssa, who's slated for more airtime than Ana when their tenures begin next season. "Alyssa's got a whole different personality. So I think it will be smoother, frankly," Joy told Entertainment Tonight this week. "I mean, I like both of them but I think this girl is going to do very well." Asked what advice she gave the new co-hosts, Joy said she told them the same thing she always tells newbies. "I was a broken record for a long time because I say this show is a volleyball game, it's not a golf game," Joy shared. "So if you know to hit the ball and then wait for it to come back at you and all that, you'll be fine."

Jack Osbourne and his fiancée, Aree Gearhart, had their newborn daughter Maple's umbilical cord transformed into a piece of art they can "keep forever," Aree revealed this week. On Thursday, Aug. 4, Aree shared on her Instagram Stories that she hired the Mommy Made Encapsulation to help her turn her placenta — the organ that connects to the umbilical cord during pregnancy — into edible capsules. Calling the decision to "encapsulate" her placenta "one of the best choices i've made for my postpartum health," the interior designer posted about the various benefits she's seen as a result. "Taking my placenta has helped me lose pregnancy weight, helped w [sic] postpartum depression, boosted my milk supply significantly, and reduced postpartum bleeding," Aree wrote. She went on to say the woman she worked with at Mommy Made Encapsulation "preserved Maple's umbilical cord, shaping it into a heart and painting it gold so we could keep it forever," according to a screenshot captured by Page Six. Jack and Aree welcomed Maple on July 9.

Salma Hayek says she thought twice before committing to star in "Without Blood," Angelina Jolie's next project as a director. Now, Salma brands her "Eternals" costar and friend "probably the best director" she's ever worked with, and as she recently reminded People, she's "worked with some pretty good ones," like Oliver Stone, Ridley Scott, Chloe Zhao and Steven Soderbergh, to name just a few. "There's always hesitation: Am I putting my friendship in jeopardy right now?" Salma recently told People. "And wow, I have a whole other level of respect [for Angelina]." As for why saying yes to "Without Blood" took some extra consideration? "There's always hesitation: Am I putting my friendship in jeopardy right now? "Without Blood" is "an unforgettable fable set in the aftermath of an unidentified conflict" that "explores universal truths about war, trauma, memory, and healing," according to a press release. Candace Cameron Bure shows off 'really funny' JoJo Siwa gift she received after feud

Candace Cameron Bure's unexpected feud with JoJo Siwa may be over, but a viral TikTok lasts forever — at least, in the eyes of one determined PR company. On Thursday, Aug. 4, Candace hopped on her Instagram Stories to show followers the JoJo-inspired gift she'd received in the mail from Diamond Art Club, a craft brand that makes hybrid cross-stitch/paint-by-numbers kits for kids. "I just found this really funny," "Full House" star, 46, said in the post (via E! News). "There's a PR company that sent me a gift." She then revealed said gift to the camera: a Diamond Art Club set featuring JoJo's smiling face, complete with a giant bow in her hair. Trying not to laugh, Cameron mused, "Coincidence? Just weird timing? I don't know … But, it looks really cute and when one of my goddaughters comes over, we are going to do this." We'll go ahead and wager the gift was not, in fact, a coincidence. In late July, JoJo, 19, branded Cameron "the rudest celebrity" she'd ever met for allegedly snubbing her when the then-11-year-old dancer bumped into the actress and asked for a photo. 'iCarly' alum Jennette McCurdy says she was 'exploited' as a child star

These days, former child star Jennette McCurdy tries to go with the proverbial flow as much as possible — something she couldn't do growing up under the watchful eye of her now late mother. "I think things should feel natural," the "iCarly" alum tells the New York Times. "So much of my life was about forcing or pushing things. So when something feels like it's working, I'll let that be, and anything else can fall by the wayside." In her new memoir, due out next week, Jennette, 30, writes candidly about how that "forcing and pushing" destroyed everything from her relationship with her mother, Debra, to her own sense of self, which suffered from Debra's invasive approach to parenting and stage mom-ing — and from what Jennette says she was subjected to as a child actor for Nickelodeon. Anne Heche rushed to hospital after involvement in odd, fiery crash

Anne Heche was reportedly taken to the hospital via ambulance after apparently crashing her car into a home, which ignited a significant blaze.

The story is bizarre, to say the least.

TMZ reported that the actress initially crashed her blue Mini Cooper into the garage of a Los Angeles apartment complex around noon on Friday, Aug. 5. Video shows residents demanding Anne get out of her car, but she refuses. Soon after, she put the damaged car in reverse and sped off.

A few moments after the garage incident, the story took another odd turn, as Anne allegedly crashed her car into a home in Los Angeles' Mar Vista area. The crash sparked a fire that engulfed the house.

With the home ablaze, local TV crews descended on the area to capture the breaking news. At one point, aerial video appears to show Anne being taken to an ambulance on a stretcher, all while being covered in a white cloth. Then, just before being put in the ambulance, she could seen suddenly sitting up and flailing.

TMZ said the "Another World" actress suffered burns and is currently "intubated" at the hospital. She is expected to live.

Although the website strongly implies that Anne was under the influence of alcohol, it noted that doctors are unable to perform any tests to determine her Blood Alcohol Content due to her current condition.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's divorce drags on after major development

Another one bites the dust.

As Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's divorce continues to drag on, the rapper has lost yet another lawyer, his fifth.

A trial-setting conference was held on Friday, Aug. 5, and Kanye's current divorce attorney, Samantha Spector, asked to be off the case, TMZ reported.

Samantha noted that she'd be willing to stay on for a few more days, but the judge allowed her to officially withdraw, effective immediately. In her request, Samantha said her relationship with Kanye was irretrievably broken, but she didn't say why.

Regardless, Kanye has now lost his fifth divorce lawyer.

TMZ said the judge made it clear that the case will go to trial in December if Ye doesn't submit his financial declarations. Further, if the case goes to trial and Kanye no-shows, Kim will likely get whatever she wants.

Back in March, "The Kardashians" star was declared legally single while she and Ye work out custody and property agreements.

Although the split has had its rough moments — particularly after Kanye threatened Kim's beau, Pete Davidson — the former couple seems to have an amicable relationship currently, as they've attended their kid's sporting events together. She also wore sunglasses from his Yeezy brand on Instagram on Thursday.
