Pop star allegedly assaulted by NBA rookie's security team, police report filed

A member of NBA rookie Victor Wembanyama's security team allegedly assaulted Britney Spears in a Las Vegas restaurant on Wednesday night.

The pop star has filed a police report.

Jim Smeal/Shutterstock

TMZ reports that Britney and her crew, which included husband Sam Asghari, arrived for dinner at Catch restaurant inside the Aria hotel at 8:30 p.m. on July 5. After being "swarmed by fans" upon entering the casino, the "Toxic" singer made the short walk across the hotel lobby into Catch. As soon as she got inside the popular restaurant, Brit spotted Wemby, who is in Vegas to play for the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA's Summer League.

Britney, it seems, is a big fan of the recent No. 1 overall pick and wanted a picture together. After making her way to the 7'5" Frenchman, Britney reportedly tapped him on the shoulder. It was then that the Director of Team Security for the San Antonio Spurs allegedly "backhanded" Britney and caused her to fall to the ground. Her glasses were knocked off in the process.

In the aftermath of the chaos, Britney returned to her table. Soon after, the alleged assailant came over and apologized. The security man also said he didn't know who Britney was when he reportedly slapped her.

"You understand how it is when you're being swarmed by fans," he allegedly said, according to TMZ.

Britney accepted the apology and her security team hashed it out with Victor's security team. Before the evening was over, her security team filed a police report for alleged battery with the Metropolitan Police Department.

Victor is already one of my most hyped rookies in recent decades and is believed to be a generational talent. There was speculation last NBA season that teams would intentionally lose in order to increase their odds of being able to draft Wemby. He ultimately went to the Spurs.

Despite not having played an NBA regular season game yet, Wemby has already become a celebrity in his own right, as he's been pictured with Travis Scott, Michael Douglas and LeBron James. He also took batting practice at Yankee Stadium and threw out the first pitch before a game.

"It was a pleasure meeting you at a couple @metropolitans92 games in Paris last year," Michael Douglas wrote alongside a June 23 picture. "Wishing you all the best for an incredible career with the @spurs!"

Grammy winner, husband moving to Australia to star 'new chapter': Report

G'day's are ahead for Pink and her family.

According to a report from New Idea, the "So What" singer is planning a "semi-permanent" move to Australia to begin a "new chapter" with husband, Carey Hart, and their kids, Willow, 11, and Jameson, 6.

Dave Hogan/Hogan Media/Shutterstock

"Australia will be such a special time. Setting up their much longed for dream base Down Under where they can escape the wintry months will be just what the doctor ordered," an insider said.

Pink has previously spoken about her Australian affection. Earlier this year while appearing on Australian 60 Minutes, she said she was "looking into" possible citizenship.

"Last year I was thinking about applying for citizenship, I am not even joking," she said.

Pink did not specify which Australian cities she's eyeing for a potential home base, but the Grammy winner and her family are reportedly scouring the country for a large plot of land big enough for a dirt bike track, similar to what they have at their California home.

"Pink and Carey have set a string of goals and all of it is hinging on Australia," the source said. "If they can work through their issues with the aim of having a great Christmas and New Year, then Australia will be the ultimate reward."

Broadimage/Shutterstock

At a London concert, the singer opened up about going to marriage counseling with Carey, whom she briefly split from in 2008. The couple's relationship has been "hot and cold and everything in between," the source said.

"Pink admits there were times when things got so tense that being stuck at home seemed like a pressure cooker," continues the source. "This is a woman who admitted she once slashed Carey's tires during a particularly heated Thanksgiving. She can be testy!"

Any potential move likely wouldn't come until after Pink's Summer Carnival Tour, which will stop in seven Australian cities next February and March.

Former TV star going under the knife after 'mean comments'

Brandi Glanville is about to make some changes.

The former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star claims to have never had plastic surgery on her face, but she does plan to go under the knife soon.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

"I've NEVER had surgery on my face. I'm so sick of all the mean comments," the 50-year-old tweeted. "I've aged & now these comments are p****** off my kids cuz they know the truth."

She added, "I've never been in bandages."

The best-selling author, though, acknowledged that she is gearing up to get "a lower face & neck lift," similar to what "Housewives" star Teddi Mellencamp once got.

"I think she looks amazing and I will eventually do my upper eyelids," she continued. "I don't know when because I have to have time for down time & right now luckily I don't!"

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

For Brandi's sake, hopefully she'll receive a different response than Teddi got following her surgery.

"Everybody went crazy," Teddi told told "Extra" last year. "I mean, there was way more positive than there was negative, but I kind of wanted to point out the negative because people continuously want to know all the details, but when you give them the details, they are upset about it."

She advised, "Truthfully, whatever makes you feel beautiful and makes you feel happy, do it."

Broadimage/Shutterstock

The model is no stranger to cosmetic procedures. Just last year she admitted to getting liposuction after "constantly" being asked if she was pregnant. Interestingly, Brandi – who noted that she gained 20 pounds during the COVID pandemic — once said she didn't "believe" in liposuction, but she's since changed her mind. She has also admitted in the past to receiving Botox and fillers.

Back in April 2022, Brandi fought back against suspicion that she went under the knife to enhance her face.

"Ok I'm saying this once I had periodontal (gum) surgery on the right side of my mouth on my back right side because I had a cavity below the gum line," she tweeted at the time. "It is infected and swollen I am on my second round of antibiotics and when I do get plastic surgery I will be the first to say."

Pop music icon reportedly intubated in ICU after being found unresponsive

Madonna's "Celebration" tour has been postponed after she suffered a bacterial infection that landed her in the intensive care unit.

Page Six reported that the Material Girl was found unresponsive over the weekend and was subsequently rushed to a New York City hospital. There, she was reportedly intubated "for at least one night before having the tube removed."

The report noted that the pop star is alert, responding and no longer in the ICU.

Madonna's daughter, Lourdes Leon, was by her mom's side throughout the medical incident.

Amid speculation around her wellbeing, Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, confirmed the hospitalization but shied away from discussing the alleged intubation.

"On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several day stay in the ICU," he shared in an Instagram post. "Her health is improving however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected."

"At his time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour," he continued, adding that the impacted show dates will be rescheduled.

Madonna was set to kick off an 84-date global tour in Vancouver, Canada, on July 15. The tour was set to cover music spanning across her 40-year career.

"I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for," she said in a statement in January after announcing the tour.

The "Like A Virgin" singer's last social media post showed her rehearsing for the tour.

"The Calm Before The Storm……….," she captioned the snaps.

After criminal charge, 'SNL' alum checks into rehab for 'PTSD issues': Report

Pete Davison has checked into rehab for borderline personality disorder and PTSD — a move that comes just a few weeks after being criminally charged in a car crash.

"Anyone who knows Pete knows that he will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it," a source told Page Six on Wednesday, June 28. "He has a lot of people in his corner who love him and support him, and are proud of him."

Adela Loconte/Shutterstock

The source insisted that the "Saturday Night Live" funnyman is "taking a well deserved break so he can focus on himself and learn to better deal with his PTSD issues."

The comedian is reportedly being treated at the same Pennsylvania facility where pal John Mulaney sought help for addiction issues

"Pete regularly goes to rehab for 'tune ups' and to take a mental break, so that's what's happening," a close pal said.

Pete's girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, is said to be standing by her man as he works on his issues.

John Angelillo/UPI/Shutterstock

The "Bupkis" star's life has taken several twists and turns over the past 12 months. Back in August 2022, he and Kim Kardashian broke up after nine months together. He then moved on with Chase.

A few months later, in March 2023, Pete and Chase were involved in a car accident in Los Angeles wherein the 29-year-old allegedly lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a house. The house has since been razed. In June, he was charged with one misdemeanor count of reckless driving. Police do not believed drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

Pete, who's firefighter father died in the 9/11 terror attacks, also caught flak from PETA over the past few weeks for purchasing a dog at a pet store, as opposed to adopting a pooch from a shelter. The dog was for Pete's mother, who recently lost her previous pooch.

On June 5, "The King of Staten Island" actor left a visceral voicemail for PETA's Senior VP of Cruelty Investigations. In that message, obtained by TMZ, Pete said he's "severely allergic" to dogs so he has to get a cavapoo, a nearly hypoallergenic breed that doesn't shed. During the foul-mouthed message, Pete accused the organization of "creating news stories" because it's "boring" and "tired."

Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock

Pete — who's been diagnosed with Crohn's disease and borderline personality disorder —has been to rehab several twice before, once in 2017 and again in 2019. He's been fairly open about this mental health, once telling radio host Charlemagne Tha God that he's "always depressed, all the time."

In speaking to Glenn Close for Variety, Pete said, "I got diagnosed with BPD a few years ago, and I was always just so confused all the time, and just thought something was wrong, and didn't know how to deal with it. Then, when somebody finally tells you, the weight of the world feels lifted off your shoulders. You feel so much better."

'Yellowstone' star 'can't afford' to pay ex's 'astounding' child support demands

With Kevin Costner's role in "Yellowstone" ending, he "can't afford" to meet his estranged wife's six-figure-per-month child support demands.

Christine Baumgartner, Kevin's wife of 18 years, is requesting $248,000 per month in child support, but the actor says he's in no financial situation to fork over that kind of dough.

Broadimage/Shutterstock

"I will earn substantially less in 2023 than I did in 2022. This is because I am no longer under contract for Yellowstone, the principal source of my income last year," he stated in court documents filed this week, which were obtained by Page Six. Christine, he added, "understood" that this upcoming year would be "a difficult year financially" because the "Yellowstone" checks are no longer flooding in.

Kevin has played family patriarch John Dutton since the hugely-popular series began. Earlier this year, "Yellowstone" producers announced the show would end with its fifth season.

In arguing that Christine's demand is "astonishing," Kevin says his ex doesn't have a clear picture of his bank account. In fact, he plainly says he can't "afford to pay those amounts and pay my living and business expenses without liquidating assets."

Kevin and Christine share three children, Cayden 16, Hayden 14, and Grace, 13. He recently alleged that her financial ask wasn't necessarily for the children, but rather for her extravagant lifestyle. The Oscar winner said Christine spends more than $100,000 in cosmetic surgery procedures, and has dropped thousands of dollars on other things that have "nothing" to do with the children.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

The former couple's divorce has gotten ugly. In mid-June, TMZ reported that Christine is refusing to leave the marital home she shares with Kevin — this despite a prenuptial agreement clearly stating that she needs to vacate the home within 30 days.

The website obtained documents revealing the Oscar-winning star asked the court to essentially force Christine out, alleging that she's had plenty of time to vacate the home. Plus, Kevin claimed he'd already given his ex nearly $1.5 million for a new place, per his obligations under the prenup.

Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock for SAG Awards

In court docs obtained this week by Radar Online, Christine —who admits to having no income — argued that she'll happily leave as long as Kevin complies "with whatever support and fee orders that the court makes on July 12."

"Kevin wants me to rent place without financial plan in place. However, have our three children to think about. It is contrary to their best interests to commit to rental that may not be able to afford, particularly as that would ultimately lead to multiple relocations," she said. "My goal has been and continues to be maintaining as much stability for our children as possible, which includes having the proper resources and plan in place so that can establish stable home for them, rather than making temporary and inconsistent housing arrangements."

Former talk show host says 'it's time' for infamous convicted killers to be released from prison

Rosie O'Donnell has revealed that she's been in contact with imprisoned murderer Lyle Menéndez and has grown "very close" to him — she also argues that both Lyle and his brother Erik Menéndez should be released from prison immediately.

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

In 1993, four years after the slaying of José and Mary Louise Menéndez, Lyle and Erik were found guilty of murdering their parents. The brothers never denied the murders throughout the case, but defense attorneys essentially argued that the killings were an act of self defense after years of sexual abuse, largely at the hands of their father, who was an RCA Records executive at the time.

On TikTok, Rosie said she has "known" the brothers were innocent, even relaying that Lyle sent her a letter in 1996.

"The letter basically said, 'I know you know, and I hope we could connect.' And you know, he was right. I did know that they were innocent. I did know that those were boys who had been incested," the former "A League Of Their Own" actress said. "Why I knew, and how I knew — Lyle also knew. I didn't write him back because I felt afraid, and I wasn't ready to touch the subject, and you know, it was 1996."

Back then, "people weren't ready to accept the fact that boys too get raped, sometimes by their fathers, and as a culture, we ridiculed them," she said.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

During the court process, there was some public belief that the Menéndez Brothers killed their wealthy parents for the inheritance.

Rose argued that Lyle and Erik, who were 18 and 21 years old at the time of their 1993 trial, were "kids who had been molested since the age of preschool, fighting back and standing up, and people thought they just wanted the money. They had the money. They didn't need the money. Money was not what it was about."

Initially, the brothers were tried separately in court, but the trials ended in hung juries. They were later tried together, and both men were eventually convicted on two counts of second degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Afterward, a judge sentenced them to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

After watching the "Menéndez & Menudo: Boys Betrayed" documentary, in which former boy bander Roy Rosselló claims Jose molested him, Rosie connected with Lyle.

"So, we believe them now because of Roy from Menudo? Do we believe now because of the letter Erik sent his cousin eight months before the murder?" she asked. "It's time. I believe them."

"They were horribly abused by their parents, they did the unthinkable, which had been done to them day after day after day, and they paid the price for that," she continued. "Free the Menéndez brothers."

'Home Improvement' actor who was living a 'double life' claims his strangulation arrest was 'blown out of proportion'

While leading a "double life," Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested in 2020 for felony strangulation after a fight with his girlfriend, Johnnie Faye Cartwright. Now the "Home Improvement" actor claims the whole thing was "blown out of proportion."

"We didn't even really get that physical. We got really loud. We were screaming and because we were in a townhome that had [thin walls], everybody could hear," he told The Hollywood Reporter in a wide-ranging story. "Johnnie was, at the time, just really upset about my situation. At the end of the day, [the police] throw a bunch of counts at you because they ultimately want you to plead to something."

Jim Smeal/BEI/Shutterstock

Ultimately, the child star pleaded plead guilty to menacing and fourth-degree assault.

"I could've fought it … but that's more stress and drama. I got two misdemeanors and called it a day," he said, even calling it a "learning experience."

"I thank God for that. I went through a situation that I'm sure plenty of people across the globe experience with their partners," he continued.

Lane County Sheriff's Office

At the time of the incident, Zachery was married to Carly Matros, but he and Johnnie had also been involved in a two-year sexual relationship. Johnnie, Zach says, was frustrated over his "double life." Then, in September 2020, Zach announced that he and Carly were divorcing — his announcement was nearly a word-for-word ripoff of Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers' divorce post (he admits to copying it).

"I was just in party freaking mode," he says of that time in his life when he and Carly called it quits. "Making movies, traveling, drinking. I wasn't living the way I was raised, you know what I mean? I was not being a faithful husband, and I was not being the best me. I thought I would be able to go out and do whatever I wanted, have fun, come home and be a family man with my kids. That's not how the real world works."

Despite the incident with Johnnie, she stayed with Zachery, and the duo now share three children. Zach has seven children in total.

ABC

Zach also spoke briefly about his four DUI arrests, alcohol struggles and his alleged cryptocurrency scam, which saw many people losing thousands of dollars.

"This was not me running some shady scam deal or something — that's just not me," he said of his former involvement with a crypto company. While acknowledging that people lost money, he blamed the company for changing its "business model."

"What people don't understand is that you take risks. Nothing is for sure. It's the same with movie investments and everything else, you lose or you win," he said.

Former sitcom star's joke riles social media

Five years after his eponymous sitcom was canceled after racist tweets, Roseanne Barr found herself trending on Twitter after more stunning statements — this time she appeared to deny that the Holocaust happened. Or did she?

"Nobody died in the Holocaust," she's said on a recent episode of This Past Weekend with Theo Von. "That's the truth. It should happen. Six million Jews should die right now 'cause they cause all the problems in the world, but it never happened."

Broadimage/REX/Shutterstock

It seems that the controversial comedian, who is Jewish, is being sarcastic in the interview, as the comment came as she spoke about the First Amendment and what you can and can't speculate about online.

"You can't say that like, you know, the election was rigged or not rigged," Roseanne, an avid supporter of Donald Trump, argued. "That's all a lie. The election was not rigged. 36 counties can give you 81 million votes. That's a fact."

"That's the truth," she continued. "And don't you dare say anything against it. You'll be off YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and all the other ones because we have, you know, there's such a thing as the truth and facts and we have to stick to it."

Roseanne said the government has issued a "mandate" that allows people to only say certain things.

Kristin Callahan/ACE Pictures/REX/Shutterstock

After Theo brought up Roseanne's religion, he said, Jewish people "started Hollywood."

"Just like rap, Black people started rap," she responded. "So I went to go over there and tried to get in rap and go, 'All these Black people, you know, go on Saturday Night Live like Dave Chappelle. I'm just saying a lot of Black people are in control of rap. Hello?' Well, you went there. You tried to get in show business. Of course it's Jewish. But you know, and people should be glad that it's Jewish too, because if Jews were not controlling Hollywood, all you'd have was f****** fishing shows."

In responding to the comments, Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt tweeted, "Sarcasm or not, Roseanne Barr's comments about Jews and the Holocaust are reprehensible and irresponsible. This isn't funny. And shame on Theo Von for letting it go unchallenged and instead diving into conspiracy theories about Jews and Hollywood."

As Roseanne's name trended online, Theo weighed in to support the formerly "canceled" comedian.

"This Roseanne Barr clip was sarcasm folks," he tweeted. "A clip taken out of a long sarcastic rant she had during our chat. Can we not recognize sarcasm anymore?"
