Lupita Nyong'o shocks Instagram followers by eating ants

Bug off, Lupita Nyong'o!

The "Star Wars" actress stunned (and grossed out) some of her fans this week after sharing a video of her eating ants. Yes, ants.

In an Instagram video, the actress showed off a snack.

"It's ants," she said, showing the camera ants atop a piece of fruit. After taking a bite of the critter-infested sweet treat, she exclaimed, "It's really good. It's not even crunchy or anything."

It's believed that Lupita had bug bite at Noma in Los Angeles.

"You can call me Ant-Woman!! #Marvel #Ants #Foodie," she captioned her social media video.

After posting the video, many of Lupita's fans praised her for being adventurous.

"Nooooooo. I feel itchy now," one follower said. Another said, "Are you sure ants didn't get on the food while left unattended." A third commenter said the snack looked "like it dropped under the fridge."

One Instagram user asked what Paul Rudd thought of her dining choice, as he plays "Ant-Man" in the Marvel movies.

Lupita is just ant-agonizing her followers at this point.

Selena Gomez's secret romance accidentally revealed

The truth shall set you free!

Selena Gomez was not only dating someone recently, but she also broke up with the mystery suitor, it was accidentally exposed as she filmed a makeup tutorial for TikTok.

John Salangsang/Shutterstock

During a July 21 video, the "Only Murders In The Building" star was applying lip liner when her Nana asked off camera, "So, how did you end it with that guy?"

Selena froze for a moment and winced.  "Uh … I'll tell you in a second," she said, clearly aware that the public was unaware she'd been dating anyone.

"I have no words," Gomez wrote over the video. She added, "i mean…."

Amid the accidental relationship reveal, fans were desperate for more information, nearly all of them wondering who the mystery man was. As expected, the singer, who turn 30 on Friday, didn't divulge more details.

Alberto Rodriguez/Shutterstock

Over the years, Selena's love life has been well documented, although she rarely speaks about it publicly. The "Lose You To Love Me" singer dated Justin Bieber throughout much of the 2010s. She then dated The Weeknd for 10 months, and she's been linked to nearly every single leading man in entertainment.

Selena joked about her relationship status while hosting "SNL" earlier this year.

"One reason I'm really excited to host 'SNL' is because I'm single — and I've heard 'SNL' is a great place to find romance," she joked during her opening monologue. "Since I don't really want to try the dating apps, I just want to put it in the universe that I'm manifesting love. But at this point, I would take anyone."

Pat Benatar refusing to sing most popular song in wake of mass shootings

In the wake of multiple mass shootings across the country, Pat Benatar is keeping her most popular song in her holster.

The singer is refusing to perform her 1980 song "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" to protest gun violence.

Medios y Media/Getty Images

"We're not doing 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot' and fans are having a heart attack," Pat told USA Today. "And I'm like, I'm sorry, in deference to the victims of the families of these mass shootings, I'm not singing it."

Although the song doesn't encourage gunplay, the 69-year-old said, "You have to draw the line."

An unapologetic Pat said fans can "go home and listen to [the song]" if they really want to hear it.

"I can't say those words out loud with a smile on my face, I just can't. I'm not going to go on stage and soapbox — I go to my legislators," she said. "That's my small contribution to protesting. I'm not going to sing it. Tough."

Pat will continue to perform other hit songs, including "Love Is A Battlefield" and "We Belong."

The refusal to perform the song follows horrific mass shooting incidents in Buffalo, New York, Uvalde, Texas and Highland Park, Illinois, among others.

According to Gun Violence Archive, there have already been 357 mass shootings in the United States in 2022.

Lisa Kudrow's son had a 'demeaning' reaction to 'Friends' character

Lisa Kudrow's son, Julian Murray Stern, was just a tot when "Friends" ended, so he never got to experience the sitcom when it ruled the airwaves. However, he recently watched the show and came away with an interesting conclusion.

"He was five when we were finished [filming]… but he did start watching when his friends at school started watching," she said on "Late Night With Seth Meyers." "He watched it and he was impressed. He said, 'It's actually really funny, I mean, the guys are so funny.'"

Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock

Lisa was almost offended that Julian, now 24, didn't seem as impressed with her Phoebe Buffay character.

"He's like, 'No, I mean you're funny too,'" Lisa recalled. "Never in my life have I wanted to tell my own kid, like, 'F*** you!' I mean, I thought it, I didn't say it."

Lisa played the quirky Phoebe from 1994 to 2004.

"It's not required that you're a fan. You don't have to like what I do. But don't be so demeaning," Lisa demanded.

@lisakudrow/Instagram

Julian, it seems, was more enthralled with Lisa's work on "The Comeback," which surprised his famous mom.

"He called me up and said, 'So I just watched the first two episodes. It's really good, Mom,'" she told Meyers. 'I said, 'Thanks.' He said, 'Can I ask you some questions about that?' I'm like, 'Yes!' I almost started crying. I didn't think that anyone in my family liked that show."

Why Nikki Bella wishes she had a 'bad' breakup with John Cena

Nikki Bella's 2018 split from longtime beau John Cena was very amicable… and that's the problem.

The "Total Bellas" alum told Entertainment Tonight that the split was "hard" because there was still love between them when their high-profile relationship ended.

Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock

"You almost wish it was bad, because it's so much easier to walk away," she said. "I think a lot of women get into this situation when it's like, 'I love this person, but I don't know if it's right for my life.' Sometimes we meet amazing people, but we're just meant to live a different life."

Nikki and John began dating in 2012 and got engaged at Wrestlemania in 2017. A year later, the duo split, briefly reconciled, and then broke up for good.

As much as the former WWE superstar wanted things to work out, her gut told her that John wasn't the one for her.

"No one thought I would, but it was hitting me so hard," she said of their breakup. "Even though it's painful and even traumatizing, I just knew it was right."

MediaPunch/REX/Shutterstock

Since going their separate ways, John and Nikki have found love elsewhere. The "Peacemaker" actor married Shay Shariatzadeh in October 2020. They had a more formal ceremony last week in Canada. Nikki, meanwhile, got engaged to her "Dancing With the Stars" partner Artem Chigvintsev in November 2019. They share a 1-year-old son, Matteo.

Although Nikki and Artem have yet to the tie the knot, they still plan to make things official.

"We are just trying to figure out this whole family thing with Artem," she said of her soon-to-be Russian in-laws. "[We're] praying that we can get Artem's family, hopefully, to America soon. That is our goal."

Ricky Martin's nephew drops incest claim against singer, case dismissed

The incest case against Ricky Martin has been dropped after his accuser — the singer's nephew — withdrew his claim.

David Fisher/Shutterstock

Earlier this month, Ricky's 21-year-old nephew obtained a restraining order against the "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer. The nephew claimed he and Ricky had a seven-month sexual affair and argued that the crooner stalked and harassed him after it ended.

Ricky and his team strongly denied all the allegations, insisting the two never had a sexual relationship. In addition, Ricky's team said the family member suffered from mental issues.

On Thursday, July 21, a judge dismissed the temporary restraining order after the nephew dropped his claim just minutes into the hearing, TMZ reported.

Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

"Just as we had anticipated, the temporary protection order was not extended by the court. The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure," Ricky's team told TMZ. "And the accuser confirmed he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter."

"The request came from the accuser asking to dismiss the case," the statement continued. "This was never anything more than a troubled individual making false allegations with absolutely nothing to substantiate them. We are glad that our client saw justice done and can now move forward with his life and his career."

Ricky reportedly attended the hearing via Zoom, but never addressed the court.

Kris Jenner reportedly concerned about Kylie Jenner's over-the-top spending habits

Kris Jenner wants Kylie Jenner to curb her spending.

Sources tell Page Six that the family matriarch —and Kylie's manager — is concerned about her youngest daughter's lavish lifestyle, which includes ownership of a private jet, multiple homes and a depleting bank account.

Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock

"Kylie has been spending so much that, after she bought the jet, her mom had to step in and tell her to slow down," said one insider. "Kris is urging her to be more responsible with her money, make wise investments. But Kylie is 24, she has her own brand, and she does what she wants."

The makeup maven has recently found herself on hot water after reportedly opting to fly 26 miles in her private jet instead of just driving. She was dubbed a "climate criminal" for the 12-minute flight. Seemingly trying to appear more relatable amid the backlash, Kylie posted a video while shopping at Target with her daughter, Stormi, and and nieces Chicago and True. Fans weren't buying it.

Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock

In addition to her jet, it's believed that she owns $80 million in real estate. Further, it's suspected that Kylie spends about $300,000 a month on clothes for her and her children.

"Kylie has actually always been very good [with her money] — young but adult at heart," a second source told Page Six.

After she bought the jet, "Kris Jenner felt she had to step in to tell Kylie to slow down. She is worried her youngest is spending too much money, too fast. But Kylie is her own woman and does what she wants," the first source said.

Shania Twain reflects on ex-husband's scandalous affair

Shania Twain promised to love her husband forever and for always, but he didn't hold up his end of the deal.

Back in 2008, the country superstar discovered that her husband of 14 years, producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, was having an affair with her then-personal assistant and close friend, Marie-Anne Thiébaud.

ENNIO LEANZA/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

Shania quickly filed for divorce, which was finalized in 2010.

In an upcoming Netflix documentary, Shania spoke of how her divorce affected her.

"It was similarly intense to losing my parents," she said in a trailer for the "Not Just a Girl" documentary. "I thought I had lost my voice forever. I thought that was it."

KCR/Shutterstock

While down from her failed marriage, Shania leaned on Marie-Anne's scorned husband, Frédéric Thiébaud, and the two bonded over their intertwined experience. (Frédéric was the person who told Shania about her their spouse's affair.) Soon, they fell in love and married in 2011.

Speaking of how her divorce and subsequent marriage to Frédéric played out, she told AARP, "It's twisted. But so beautifully twisted."

While her story has a happy ending, it wasn't easy for Shania to accept her divorce.

"There were days I didn't really care if tomorrow came," she told AARP. The hitmaker then added, "Survival is everything. I was in quicksand. I panicked, like everybody does, but I didn't surrender. I found a way out."

Linda Evangelista announces huge update in lawsuit over botched procedure

Linda Evangelista has settled a $50 million lawsuit with a company that she claims botched a liposuction-type of procure and left her "deformed."

The former supermodel, 57, announced the news on Instagram.

Gregory Pace/BEI/Shutterstock

"I'm pleased to have settled the CoolSculpting case," she wrote in a statement. "I look forward to the next chapter of my life with friends and family, and am happy to put this matter behind me. I am truly grateful for the support I have received from those who have reached out."

Linda made headlines last year after claiming she underwent CoolSculpting, a "fat-freezing" procedure that acts as a liposuction alternative, in a dermatologist's office in 2015 and 2016. The procedure was botched, she alleged, leaving her "permanently deformed" and "brutally disfigured." Because of her physical looks, she lived in seclusion for almost five years.

In a cover story with People magazine in February, Linda said she was diagnosed with paradoxical adipose hyperplasia after the surgery (PAH, which causes affected fatty tissue to thicken and expand, is a rare side effect that affects less than 1% of CoolSculpting patients.) Her doctor told her "no amount of dieting and no amount of exercise was ever going to fix it," she said.

Terms of the new settlement are not known.

With the lessons learned, Linda now preaches body acceptance.

"Why do we feel the need to do these things [to our bodies]? I always knew I would age. And I know that there are things a body goes through. But I just didn't think I would look like this," she says of her body protrusions, which developed after the procedures. "I don't recognize myself physically, but I don't recognize me as a person any longer either."

The image people have of Linda the supermodel is "gone," she said, adding, "I hope I can shed myself of some of the shame and help other people who are in the same situation as me. That's my goal."

Actress claims Arnold Schwarzenegger 'deliberately' farted in her face

Working with Arnold Schwarzenegger stinks, according to a former costar.

In a recent interview, Miriam Margolyes, who starred with the actor in "End of Days," made it known that she was not a fan of Arnold or his bodily functions.

Karl Schoendorfer/Shutterstock

"I didn't like the wrestler from Austria … what's his name?" she said on the I've Got News For You podcast in Australia. After a host wondered if she was speaking about the "Terminator" icon, she said, "Yeah, didn't care for him. He's a bit too full of himself and I don't care for him at all. He's a Republican, which I don't like and he was actually quite rude."

The conversation took an odd turn as Miriam continued. "He farted in my face," she said. "Now, I fart, of course I do, but I don't fart in people's faces. He did it deliberately, right in my face."

Ken McKay/ITV/Shutterstock

The alleged windy incident occurred in 1999, she said.

"I can't remember the date, but it was during the filming of End of Days in Los Angeles and I was playing Satan's sister and he was killing me, so he had me in a position where I couldn't escape, lying on the floor," she continued. "And he just farted. It wasn't on film, it was in one of the pauses, but I haven't forgiven him for it."

Arnold has not responded to the claim, but his son did. Upon seeing a headline about the gas gripe, Patrick Schwarzenegger commented, "WTF" with a laugh-crying emoji.

'90 Day Fiancé' star accused of killing friend added to US Marshals' Most Wanted List

A man who appeared on the fourth season of "90 Day Fiancé" has been added to the U.S. Marshals Service's 15 Most Wanted list.

According to a press release, the Marshals Service is offering up to $25,000 for information leading to the capture of Michael Anthony Baltimore. Other law enforcement agencies have also offered cash rewards for Michael's arrest.

U.S. Marshals Office

The one-time reality TV star is wanted for assault, homicide and parole violation charges after he allegedly shot and killed a man named Kendell Jerome Cook in a Carlisle, Penn., barbershop that the victim owned. A separate man was also injured in the May 2021 incident.

A press release said Michael has "an extensive criminal history and is known to be violent."

"Michael Baltimore poses a serious threat to the community," said U.S. Marshals Service Director Ronald Davis. "By placing him on the 15 Most Wanted list, we have made his capture a top priority of the U.S. Marshals Service."

Jason Derulo buys $3.6 million home for ex who accused him of cheating

Jason Derulo has plopped down $3.6 million for a stunning home in the Los Angeles area… for his ex-girlfriend — that same woman who publicly accused him of cheating on her.

Michael Kovac/Getty Images for Baby2Baby

The singer and TikTok star purchased the 4,864 square foot home in March, property records show. Based on the price, you would assume that he bought the home for himself, but TMZ said Jason actually got it for ex Jena Frumes and their 14-month-old son, Jason King. Jena and Jason live there "exclusively."

Located in Encino, Calif., the home is stunning, as it features 5 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a pool and spa and a soundproof movie theater.

The home purchase came just months before Jena insinuated that her romance with Jason faltered because he was unfaithful. On Instagram in June, a troll questioned a photo she posted and criticized her life.

"You're not married, which means your child is a bastard and you're playing the w**** role. Y'all got morals mixed up," the person said.

Jason Derulo/Instagram

Jena responded, "I wouldn't call myself a w**** it's unfortunate [the] situation didn't work out because we once did aspire to be married but maybe it's best to be single than to be in a relationship & constantly be disrespected & cheated on and lied to. Or is it better to stay quiet so people like you approve?"

Jena later took to her Instagram Story to share more, writing in part, "Women really don't deserve to be treated and judged the way they are. No one aspires to be a single mom. It's the biggest heartbreak and failure for me personally knowing I'm alone in this… But if your non-negotiables are being tested you'll never find peace in that relationship."

The model continued, "If a man wants a different girl every week over his family I'll never accept that… we will never be able to make it work 'happily,' was straight up told that I should 'turn the other cheek.' I'll never be OK with sharing a lover that I love with all my heart!!!" She added of the alleged infidelity, "If the streets come first I can't change that so stop blaming the women like we chose the single mother life. That s*** is hella annoying. You don't know what women go through to try & 'make it work.' It was never about money or dating someone famous… I was in love & we planned a baby & life together! It didn't work out and life must go on. Leave me alone."

Jason and Jena split in September 2021, but they seem to be co-parenting well. In fact, Jason sat in the front row and supported Jena at her recent runway gig during Miami Swim Week on July 16.

James Corden fumes after narrowly avoiding injury in bike crash

Jame Corden was reportedly "livid" after crashing on his bicycle and getting into a war of words with a cyclist who cut him off.

The Sun said the late night host and his wife, Julia, were riding rented bikes in central London when a man cut in front of James, sending him "flying." James, the report said, narrowly missed morning traffic while dodging the unaware rider.

"Corden was fuming," a onlooker said. "This young cyclist just darted across the road and sent him flying. It must have really taken him by surprise."

Although he was forced to dump his bike onto busy Regent Street at 10 a.m., James thankfully avoided injury.

"He had no cuts or bruises but it must have hurt," the source said, adding that the fellow cyclist merely said "sorry."

On July 18, The Sun published video purportedly taken just moments after the crash. James appears upset as his wife asks him if he's okay. Initially, onlookers didn't realize James was involved, but they quickly recognized him.

"Everyone just stopped and stared when they realised who it was," the source said.

David Crosby's 'pissy' reaction to fan goes viral

David Crosby's isn't about to apologize for his crankiness.

The singer went viral over the weekend after his response to a fan's drawing.

"Hi @thedavidcrosby hope you are keeping well. Did a picture of you…. Thanks for the music," the fan wrote. Upon seeing the fan art, David unleashed.

"This is the weirdest painting of me. I have ever seen," he replied to the well-intending fan. The singer then added, "Don't quit your day job."

Social media was stunned at David's sharp comments in regard to the portrait. After one person questioned why David would be so critical, the 80-year-old said, "I just didn't think it was any good … but I should not have dropped the 'don't quit your day job' on him … that was just being pissy … which I sometimes am … usually I'm fairly thoughtful."

One person said David likely hurt the fan's feeling, to which the "For What It's Worth" singer shot back, "If I don't like it I don't like it."

A fan said David was "tactless and unkind." He wrote back, "Does it mean I have to pretend to like art that I think isn't any good?"

As he continued to give his less-than-enthusiastic responses to the art, a handful of fans appreciated the honesty.

"After yesterday's somewhat lively discussion on subjectivity in art appreciation, I'd just like to say thank you to the all the new followers and those who took the time to leave comments. Best wishes," he shared.

Kylie Jenner shredded, dubbed 'climate criminal' for 17-minute private jet flight

Fans are ripping Kylie Jenner and insisting she's no friend of the environment after opting for a 17-minute private jet ride, not a car, to take her across town.

Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock

According to the @CelebJets Twitter account, the reality TV star flew 40 miles from Camarillo, Calif., to Van Nuys, Calif., last week. In a car, the drive would have taken about 45 minutes.

Initial reports claimed the flight took three minutes, but it was later clarified and changed to a 17 minutes of air time.

Just days after the blink-and-you-missed-it-flight, Kylie posted a black-and-white Instagram image with beau Travis Scott in front of their private jets.

"you wanna take mine or yours?," she captioned the snap. While her family and friends loved on the image, many fans were not impressed.

"Global warming who?," one Instagram user wrote. Another person tweeted, "Kylie Jenner: full time climate criminal."

"Can't wait to see Kylie Jenner post environmental awareness pics on her stories as if she isn't single-handedly doing more damage to the environment than most of us with her 3 min flights," another social media user said.

The pile-on continued.

"your waste of gas emissions or mine?" another said. A different critic claimed, "This isnt the flex you think it is."

This is hardly the first time Kylie has come under fire for her private jet usage. Back in 2019 she was mocked for picking up sister Kendall Jenner for dinner in her jet. In addition, there has long been suspicion that the makeup maven often flies 100 miles from Los Angeles to Palm Springs, a drive that takes under two hours.

Mason Disick-linked Instagram predicted Khloe's surrogate birth in April — revisit other Kardashian tea he spilled

We've learned not to dismiss Mason Disick*.

Back in April, an Instagram account linked to Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian's 12-year-old son claimed Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson would "soon" be welcoming a baby via a surrogate. Well, it turns out the person behind the @itzangel_j Instagram account — purported to be Mason — was dead on.

Scott Disic/Instagram

On July 13, Khloe Kardashian's rep confirmed that the reality TV star is welcoming a child who was conceived in November — one month before Khloe learned of Tristan's most recent infidelity, which resulted in his third child.

Page Six, citing family sources, said Khloe will welcome a boy in the imminent future.

Frank Micelotta/Shutterstock

Make no mistake, the Khloe confirmation gives credibility to the secretive Instagram account supposedly run by Mason. In addition to revealing Khloe's surrogacy news, the alleged Mason-led account also dropped more Kardashian tea at the time.

After a fan asked if Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Pete Davidson were going to have a child together, whoever runs the account said, "Yes! They want a baby together via surrogate but they want to get married first." It also added last April, "Kim got proposed by Pete last week and she said its not the time yet but wants a kid with next year."

GC Images

In more news, the account said that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott got engaged a month ago, and further claimed she intentionally had her most recent baby on 2/2/2022 intentionally. Kylie, the account alleged, "wasn't due until two weeks later but she wanted that date." In a separate message, he claimed Kylie and Travis' baby's name is Knight Jacques Webster, something that has still not been publicly revealed (the baby's name was reportedly Wolf Webster before they changed it).

Another claim: Kris Jenner is secretly engaged to longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble.

The Instagram account also said Kendall Jenner was involved in a "lots of drama with Selena [Gomez] and Hailey [Bieber] and it got really bad."

Kourtney Kardashian/Instagram

Mason famously went viral back in 2020 after starting Instagram and TikTok accounts. He even went live on Instagram at the time and started spilling family secrets. Shortly after, Kourtney and Scott shut it down, saying he was "too young."

Not one to take the loss easily, Mason then started another TikTok account.

"I went viral," he said in the second account. "I would've had 2.7 mil [followers] by now if I kept it up."

The mystery person behind @itzangel_j, by the way, alleged that Kim is "paying" Instagram to ban the account.

"I know I'm really not suppose [sic] to say this… but I'm so tired of never being able to say ANYTHING," the mystery account said.

"I think it's so amazing and so inspiring for you to show real bodies, in real life, in real time," songwriter Angie Beyince said. "It's bold & it's brave! You are beautiful and what you're doing is beautiful for so many girls & women."

Other fans applauded Angela for being unafraid to post images of her curves and natural body. Several of Angela's 7.5 million fans said she was "gorgeous" and "real."

"I do not feel any pressure to look a certain in Hollywood or to be a certain size. I'm gonna be who I am," she told Page Six Style. "I want people to know 'perfect' is not perfect.
