Rumored to be about him, Dave Coulier dishes on ex Alanis Morissette's 'You Oughta Know'

After hearing "Jagged Little Pill" in 1995, Dave Coulier realized he may have "really hurt" his ex Alanis Morissette.

The "Full House" star dated the singer in the '90s while she was writing the legendary album.

Ron Galella Collection via Getty

"I never saw this angry white girl thing that people have kind of coined her as," he said on SiriusXM's "Faction Talk." "She was sweet, she was funny, she was super intelligent, super talented."

The album came out after the two split, and Dave recalled hearing "You Oughta Know" — a song rumored to be about him — for the first time while driving. At the time, he didn't realize his ex was singing, but he really liked the hook … Then things got very familiar.

"And then I start hearing the voice. I'm like, 'Wow, this girl can sing.' And I had no idea, you know, that this was the record," he said. "And then I was listening to the lyrics going, 'Ooh, oh no! Oh, I can't be this guy.'"

The actor went straight to a record store and bought the album.

"I parked on a street and I listened to the whole record, and there was a lot of familiar stuff in there that her and I had talked about," he said, recalling a handshake he and Alanis would do. "I started listening to it and I thought, 'Oh, I think I may have really hurt this woman. And that was my first thought."

Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock

Years later, Dave and Alanis ran into each other.

"We reconnected and she couldn't have been sweeter. And I said, 'What do you want me to say when people ask me about this relationship?' And she said, 'You can say whatever you want.' So she was really sweet about it. She was kind," he recalled.

The comedian continued to heap praise on Alanis and revealed her generous heart.

"I'll tell you the kind of person she is. When my sister Sharon was dying with cancer, Alanis was living in Toronto. My sister was in Detroit. She actually drove to Detroit with her guitar and sat with my sister playing songs and singing to my sister in the hospital. That's the kind of human being she is," he concluded. "So I've never had anything bad to say about her. She's lovely."

Elon Musk's dad confirms he fathered second child with 35-year-old stepdaughter

Elon Musk's father confirmed that he had a second child with his 35-year-old stepdaughter.

Errol Musk, 76, told The Sun that he and Jana Bezuidenhout welcomed a daughter last month, but claims the pregnancy was "unplanned" and the two do not live together. The two also share 5-year-old Elliot Rush, nicknamed Rushi.

Gianluigi Guercia/AFP via Getty Images

"I haven't checked her DNA. But she looks just like my other daughters. She looks like Rose and Tosca mixed up," Errol said of the newborn. "She looks exactly like Rushi and she behaves like him. So it's pretty obvious you know."

The Tesla founder's father was married to Jana's mother for 18 years, and they had two children together. Errol also helped raise Jana.

"We were living together. She [Jana] stayed here for about 18 months after Rushi was born, but I realised she's two generations behind, whereas her mother was one generation behind when I married her," Errol the The Sun. "So any man who marries a woman, even if you feel very sprightly, it's going to be nice for a while. But there's a big gap… And that gap is going to show itself."

He added, "I married her mother when she was 25 and I was 45. She was probably one of the best looking woman I've ever seen in my life."

According to reports, Elon was livid when his father and Jana had a child, as the two grew up together as children.

"But the thing is it's not practical. She's 35 next birthday. So she's getting on. So eventually if I'm still around she might wind up back with me. It's difficult," Errol said. "I mean, I would much rather have them here. But Jana came and spent a few days here about six months ago. And the kids were starting to get on my nerves. Then I miss them as soon as they have gone."

Addressing the elephant in the room, Errol said his other daughters were "shocked" by his relationship with Jana because "to them it was their sister."

"And they still don't like it. They still feel a bit creepy about it, because she's their sister. Their half-sister," he said.

Elon, of course, is no stranger to bringing children into the world either. On July 6, Business Insider reported that the Tesla and SpaceX CEO quietly welcomed twins with one of his top execs, Shivon Zilis of Neurolink, in November 2021. The tech titan has 10 children.

Meghan King was 'confused' over 'rushed' marriage to Joe Biden's nephew

Meghan King's extremely brief relationship — and even briefer marriage — to Cuffe Biden Owens was a "mistake," she admits.

While on the "Divorced Not Dead" podcast, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" alum spoke about marrying Joe Biden's nephew after knowing each other for just a few weeks.

@meghanking/Instagram

"We rushed into it," she said of the now-annulled marriage, which she dubbed a "mistake." "Like I said earlier, I'm a lover and I want everybody to be happy. I learned some big lessons from that mistake. I'm sure he did as well."

The former reality TV star added that she was "confused" by the marriage before pinning most the blame on her ex, insisting she "didn't ever want to get married again, but it was important to him."

Meghan, 37, is now happy it was "short and sweet and it's done and it's annulled."

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

The new comments are long way from her initial feelings of her split. At the time, she called the December 2021 split "profoundly devastating."

Meghan and Cuffe's marriage was stunning in its speed — the couple metmarried and split up all within three months. Having first met in September 2021, the duo immediately began living together. They married in October 2021 in Pennsylvania in front of President Biden and first lady Jill Biden. Eight weeks later, the love was lost.

@meghanking/Instagram

The annulment was just another chapter in Meghan's unglamorous love life, which has now included three trips down the aisle. Meghan was married to Brad McDill from 2007 to 2011, but she told SiriusXM's "Jeff Lewis Live" that that marriage "didn't count" because she wed so young. She then married former baseball player Jim Edmonds in 2014. The two split in 2019 but share three children together. Then, of course, came her annulled marriage to Cuffe

Still seeking love, Meghan is reportedly now dating businessman Trevor Colhoun, the heir to the John Deere tractor fortune.

Olivia Culpo saves sister from falling refrigerator

Olivia Culpo's quick thinking may have saved her sister from a potentially catastrophic injury.

The model detailed what happened after a refrigerator fell on her sister during a move.

"The refrigerator fell on Sophie yesterday," Olivia captioned her Instagram story of the hectic scene. "I didn't post it because I was traumatized but if you saw on her stories she's 100% ok."

Luckily for Sophie, 25, Olivia and and her sister-in-law, Katie, saw the huge appliance falling.

"Katie and I ran over as it was midway in the air and held it up although her head was still inside the thing," the former Miss Universe wrote, adding that it was a "crazy day."

Olivia attached an image that showed several fridge contents spilled out on the floor.

"Not going to miss this part of a new move in," Olivia said before imploring her Instagram followers to be safe when moving. "Let this be your reminder to secure all appliances and not leave details like this to up to 60+ year old parents."

There are "temporary mounts" now holding the appliance in place.

Nick Cannon's 'fantasy' would be a reconciliation with Mariah Carey

The heart wants what it wants.

Nick Cannon's love life has been well chronicled over the years, but it seems that he views Mariah Carey as the one that got away.

Invision/AP/Shutterstock

While on "The Hot Tee Talk Show," the "Masked Singer" host was asked if he would ever consider a reconciliation with Mariah, his ex-wife with whom he shares 11-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.

"Of course, that's my fantasy," he said. "That's somebody I will always love. I will never have a love like I had with Mariah."

He added, "If I had the opportunity, if it could be the way that it was, I'm there."

Nick following up with comments by spouting several of Mariah's songs fitting for the conversation, including "Always Be My Baby," "We Belong Together" and "Don't Forget About Us."

This might all be wishful thinking for Nick, as Mariah has been in a relationship with her ex-backup dancer Bryan Tanaka since 2016. Still, Nick and Mimi co-parent their twins.

Chelsea Lauren/REX/Shutterstock

The "Wild 'N Out" star, of course, has his hands full in regard to his family, as he has fathered eight children, and a ninth is reportedly on the way.

Nick's comments come two months after he said Mariah would likely be his only wife.

"That, to me, was one of the greatest experiences of my life," he said of his marriage while on the "It's Tricky with Raquel Harper" podcast in May. He added, "I'm not built for" marriage.

Ana de Armas reflects on 'horrible' media attention paid to Ben Affleck relationship

Ana de Armas dated Ben Affleck for less than a year, but she's scarred by the level of attention the romance got.

"Horrible," she said told ELLE in a cover story, referring to the attention. "That's one of the reasons why I left L.A."

Broadimage/Shutterstock

The "Knives Out" actress and Ben, her "Deep Water" costar, were linked in March 2020 after being photographed in Havana, Cuba. They were soon inseparable, and the paparazzi couldn't get enough of it.

Being in the public eye, Ana often saw how other celebrities dealt with their personal lives being nitpicked, but that life didn't suit her.

"Going through it [myself] confirmed my thoughts about, 'This is not the place for me to be,'" she said of Los Angeles. "It became a little bit too much. There's no escape. There's no way out."

David Fisher/Shutterstock

Now a New Yorker, Ana, 34, said that in L.A. there's "always the feeling of something that you don't have, something missing. It's a city that keeps you anxious."

Ana and Ben dated at a rather tricky time, as it was during the height of the COVID pandemic. While quarantining together, the couple went Instagram official in April 2020. The romance would eventually fizzle, and it was confirmed in January 2021 that the duo split.

She's now reportedly dating Tinder executive Paul Boukadakis — a romance that doesn't exactly dominate the headlines. That's fine by her, as she prefers to keep a low profile when she's not in front of the camera.

"I deleted Twitter years ago," she said. "I have barely been on Instagram for almost a year."

'Sexbomb' legend reveals what really happened following reports he collapsed before concert in Hungary

Sir Tom Jones was forced to cancel a concert in Budapest, Hungary, after reportedly "collapsing" just before going on stage. A source told the MailOnline that the "Sexbomb" singer fell ill and collapsed about an hour before he was set to take the stage at the MVM Dome.

"Tom Jones collapsed, so his concert was cancelled tonight and doctors were called to the stadium," the source said. "His management has set August 16th as the new date for the concert." Tom, the report says, wanted to continue the gig, but doctors convinced him to take the night off and recover.

ANL/REX/Shutterstock

"Unfortunately following doctors' advice, Tom Jones regrets he is unable to perform at the MVM Dome this evening," the venue said in a statement to ticket holders. "Sir Tom sends his sincere apologies for the inconvenience created but looks forward to performing for you in August."

Tom later took to Instagram to insist he didn't collapse but said he did fall ill. "Hello to all concerned. I travelled last night from the UK to Budapest and woke this morning with an uncomfortable throat. A specialist came to visit and diagnosed 'viral laryngitis.' He strongly advised postponing the show and prescribed medication and vocal rest. I did not 'collapse' anywhere at any time, that is pure rumour. Hopefully the inflammation will calm soon as I am looking forward to continuing my wonderful summer tour," he wrote in part.

Tom is the second legendary singer in as many weeks to fall ill either before a concert or during a show.

Cops involved after Britney Spears' driving faux pas

Britney Spears is running on empty.

The pop star found herself stranded on a busy Los Angeles freeway late Tuesday night after running out of gas. Police were called to get her and her car to safety.

TMZ said Britney was driving her Mercedes on the 101 Freeway when the car quit, leaving the out-of-commission auto blocking a lane. When officers responded, they found the pop star not in her car, but sitting in the backseat of a passerby's vehicle.

Highway Patrol officers were able to stop traffic and push the car to safety. TMZ said an officer actually steered the car to the side of the road while Brit sat in the passenger seat.

While no longer blocking traffic, police waited with Britney until her husband, Sam Asghari, came to pick her up.

Meghan Markle dubbed the 'Princess of Montecito' by locals due to lifestyle

Meghan Markle's Southern California neighbors have reportedly given her an unofficial title due to her glamorous lifestyle: the "Princess of Montecito."

"There's a lot more going on in Meghan's world than people think, she just keeps it very private these days but her royal status gives her a lot of leverage," a source told UK's Closer magazine. "She spends most of her time in Montecito, but she heads into LA every week or so."

REX/Shutterstock

After resigning as senior royals, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry moved to a nine-bedroom mansion in Montecito, a posh area of Santa Barbara, in 2020. Their neighbors include Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Serena Williams, James Corden and Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry. Since moving to the town outside of Los Angeles, the couple often spends time at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, hiking the hills or dining at high-end restaurants.

"If she's going into Beverly Hills or West Hollywood for lunch or dinner, she'll generally call ahead and request a table that is completely secluded," the source said. "Some of her favourite places were off the beaten track and not all that well-known, like gourmet sushi joints in the Downtown area or authentic Mexican places in the area she grew up in."

"But, generally speaking, these days she likes higher-end hangouts like Cecconi's, Sunset Tower, Sugarfish or Lucky's steakhouse in Montecito, which was recommended to them by Oprah. It's become their favourite and they're waited on hand and foot," the source continued. "They're also big fans of Nobu – the bills can often reach up to $5,000, but Meghan and her friends are happy to pay."

Tim Rooke/Shutterstock

Over the years reports have said the former "Suits" actress is angling for a career in politics. In the meantime, the mother of Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, is working on her podcast, Archetypes, which will air on Spotify. Still, she makes time to schooze.

"She spends a fair amount of time at Oprah's palatial house, where they'll kick back with her closest friend, Gayle King, and talk about everything from Meghan's future plans to what's going on back in the UK and how Harry's coping with everything," the source said. "Despite her former acting career, she doesn't go to the movies much but they've been known to watch private screenings at Oprah's place, and other power players in LA have hosted them for dinner parties and spiritual gatherings."

Erik Pendzich/Shutterstock

Harry, meanwhile, is happy to support his wife's ambitions.

"He's up at the crack of dawn getting the kids fed, washed and dressed. Meghan's often very busy on business Zoom calls, or nipping into LA for meetings, which Harry often chauffeurs her to. Then he's back to the kids as soon as possible because he doesn't like leaving them with nannies," the source said. "With all this speculation around her political career ambitions, everyone thinks Harry would be happy at the idea of being First Gentleman if she accomplishes her long-term goal. Having said that, he might be fine with it right now – but you have to wonder for how much longer."

Bradley Cooper reportedly dating notable Hillary Clinton aid

Bradley Cooper is off the market, a new report claims, and his new lady is rather infamous, especially in political circles.

Citing "multiple sources," Page Six reported that Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton's top aid, is dating the "A Star Is Born" actor, and they were set up through none other than Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Rob Latour/Shutterstock

"Anna definitely played matchmaker," a source said. "She's BFFs with Bradley and adores Huma."

A second source said, "Bradley has been quietly dating Huma for a few months now, they've been keeping it really quiet. Bradley broke up with [actress] Dianna Agron and started dating Huma."

David Fisher/Shutterstock

Huma has apparently told a few close friends that she has a "new man," but she's kept his identify close to the vest.

"They are perfect for each other," a third source said. "They're both into power and politics and human affairs."

How long the two have been together isn't known, but they arrived together at the May 2 Met Gala. They split up on the red carpet and did not pose together for photographs.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

Due to her close ties to the former Secretary of State and her failed marriage to disgraced politician Anthony Weiner, Huma is one of the most known politically-adjacent people in the country. Huma and Anthony, who share a 10-year-old son, are in the final stages of their divorce.

"Bradley is a big step up from Anthony Weiner, to say the very least," one Hollywood source said.

Beanie Feldstein 'blindsided' Funny Girl producers with abrupt resignation, paving way for Lea Michele

Beanie Feldstein was "basically fired" from Broadway's "Funny Girl" just before she "blindsided" producers in announcing her upcoming departure from the show, according to Page Six.

It's the classic you-can't-fire-me-I-quit scenario.

Stephen Lovekin/Shutterstock

"Once the production decided to take the show in a different direction, I made the extremely difficult decision to step away sooner than anticipated," the actress said on social media on Sunday, July 10. "I will never forget this experience and from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every single person who came to the August Wilson for the love and support you have shown me and our amazing cast and crew."

That "different direction" was "Glee" alum Lea Michele, who is set to replace Beanie.

Beanie's run on "Funny Girl" was often hampered by poor reviews and low ticket sales, industry reports claim. Largely because of this, "producers basically fired her," a source told the New York Post's gossip section.

Andrew H. Walker/Shutterstock

When Beanie made her seemingly-sudden announcement, producers were caught off guard and given only 30 minutes of heads up, one source said, claiming, "The social media post was her quitting after being fired." However, a different source insists that producers knew in advance the social media message was coming and even approved the language.

Another insider said Beanie feels "betrayed."

"The entire creative team built a brand around a new type of Fanny for a new generation. Now, they've turned on her and kind of points fingers at her like she's the reason the show isn't working," the insider continued. "Beanie feels attacked by everyone around her. She's like, 'You brought me here in the first place!'"

Jessica Simpson is mom-shamed (again) for daughter's pacifier

Suck on this.

Jessica Simpson is feeling the wrath of the online world after sharing photos from a recent lake vacation showing her 3-year-old daughter, Birdie, sucking on a pacifier.

Instagram followers immediately began offering their unsolicited opinions, pawning them off as gospel.

"Why the binkie tho isn't she too old for that ..????," one person wrote as others piled on. Another commented, "Is that a pacifier!?????"

Several others — all of whom have unknown dental credentials — opined about Birdie's teeth.

"Passy needs to be gone… It messes up their teeth so bad," one person said. "My friend is finding that out he [sic] kid has major dental issues." Another added, "I know right 1st thing I noticed that's why her top teeth are arched."

Cindy Barrymore/Shutterstock

Naturally, not all the online hate was centered around the tot, as some, per usual, criticized Jessica's appearance, claiming she was too thin (something she has been accused of many times over.) However, Team Jessica fought back. "Do you tell a heavy person not to eat!?," one person said.

After one person encouraged Jessica in a fairly mean manner to eat more, one supporter countered, "You feigning concern for her health just to remark on another woman's body is pretty weak. At least own the fact that you're petty af. Don't hide behind concern. You know she doesn't look like she's going to die and even if she did, for argument's sake, you're not emotionally invested in getting her better. Woman up, girl."

Others commented on Jessica's lips.

"I honestly hope Jess doesn't read the disgusting comments on here. It must be soul destroying having your photos picked apart online by strangers," wrote one fan. "And before anyone starts with the oh she's a public figure, NO that does not give you a free pass to say horrible things, she is human, this is her space & we know nothing about her personal life aside from what she decides to share."

Cameron Diaz believes she was unwittingly a 'drug mule' as an aspiring model

Cameron Diaz thinks one gig in her early 90s modeling days may have actually been a cover for illegal activity.

While appearing on the "Second Life" podcast, the "There's Something About Mary" star recalled living abroad and saving up her money in hopes of becoming a major model in Paris. However, she quickly realized that jobs were pretty much nonexistent.

Christopher Smith/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

"I didn't work a day. I was there a full year and didn't work one day. I couldn't book a job to save my life," she told podcast host Hillary Kerr of trying to get work in Paris. "Then I got one job but, really, I think I was a mule carrying drugs to Morocco — I swear to God."

In those days, airport Transportation Security Administration wasn't a thing.

Cameron believes she may have been an unwitting drug runner, as her employers gave her a locked suitcase that she was told contained her "costumes."

After arriving in Morocco with the bag in hand, officials quizzed her about it.

"All of the calculations in my head went running back, like 'what the f*** is in this suitcase?' I'm this blond-haired, blue-eyed girl in Morocco, it's the '90s, I'm wearing torn jeans and platform boots and my hair down, and this is really unsafe," she said. "I told them, 'I don't know, it's not mine, I've no idea whose it is.'"

She ended up leaving the bag with authorities.

"That was my only job I ever got in Paris," she said.

Not only after, though, Cameron's life would change after being spotted by a casting agent in Los Angeles who wanted her to star opposite Jim Carrey in 1994's "The Mask." Cameron would later star in a string of movies, making her a household name.

Although she retired from acting in 2014, Cameron announced that she's un-retiring to act in an upcoming Netflix project with Jamie Foxx.
