Melissa Joan Hart rewears 21-year-old dress to celebrate holiday

Melissa Joan Hart's wardrobe is stepping back in time.

Over the weekend, the "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" actress shared an up-to-date image in which she donned a red eagle-emblazoned dress. It's the same dress she debuted on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in 2001.

NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via

It's also the same dress she's worn nearly every year on the Fourth of July.

"The eagle dress has landed," she wrote alongside a series of images showing her in the dress, one from July 4 and others from over the years.

In speaking about her dress, Melissa, 46, said she purchased it in 2000 in Melbourne, Australia.

"I wore it on the #LateShow with #JayLeno in 2021 after 9/11 when I only wore red, white and blue for the better part of a year," she said, noting the clothing hangs in her vacation house in Lake Tahoe.

"It became a July 4th staple in my Tahoe closet in about 2008 and I have since worn it every year minus 2019 when I spent Independence Day on the east coast," she said.

Melissa's Instagram post also showed her in the oft-recycled dress standing alongside Hilary Duff and Bryan Cranston — a photo, she said, that was "doctored."

"That never actually happened in my memory," she said.

While the of-legal-drinking-age eagle outfit got all the attention, the actress began her holiday weekend in a green floral dress. She also shared an incredible video of a water rescue simulation exercise at Lake Tahoe.

The bird is the word for Melissa.

David Harbour reveals surprising fact about 'Stranger Things' prop

Prop it up! David Harbour has revealed that the sword he used in the "Stranger Things" season finale is the exact same weapon Arnold Schwarzenegger used in the "Conan" films.

Andrew H. Walker/Shutterstock

"Nerd alert. The prop at the end of episode 9 is the Atlantean sword from the CONAN films," David revealed on Instagram, while sharing several scenes from the Netflix show. "A lovely fan found a still of when it was established in ep 7 and used by an unlucky inmate who met an untimely death near the cells at the side of our gladiatorial pit."

The sword is very consequential in the Conan movies.

In describing the "actual sword used in the filming of both CONAN films," David, 47, couldn't hide his excitement and gave a shout out to the "Stranger Things" props department.

"It was heavy as hell, and such a tremendous honor to wield," he said. In ending his gushing tribute, he tagged Arnold and said he was "ready to accept your notes on my technique."

Fans of the show were stunning at David's fun fact, as many noted that they loved "Stranger Things" even more now.

"How's that for an Easter egg," one person happily commented.

Some fans claimed they knew the sword was iconic the second they saw it.

"My husband called it immediately and I was like '……nah…they wouldn't really…' APPARENTLY THEY WOULD," one commented. Another user said, "I called it when my hubby and I were watching the episode! He looked at me like I was nuts at the time."

Joe Rogan reveals he's rejected multiple Trump interviews: 'I don't want to help him'

Joe Rogan is making it clear that he's not part of the MAGA universe.

On a recent episode of Lex Fridman's podcast, the host of the hugely popular "The Joe Rogan Experience" podcast said Donald Trump has wanted to be on his podcast several times, and Joe has turned him down "every time."

Andrew Toth/Starpix/Shutterstock

"The Trump era is also going to be one of the weirder times," Joe said. "When people look back historically about the division in this country, he's such a polarizing figure that so many people felt like they could abandon their own ethics and morals and principles just to attack him and anybody who supports him because he is an existential threat to democracy itself."

Rogan continued, "I'm not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I've had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once — I've said no, every time. I don't want to help him. I'm not interested in helping him."

During the chat, Joe defended his decision to have others on his show whom he doesn't necessarily agree with politically, citing Kanye West specifically.

"Kanye's an artist," Joe said. "Kanye doing well or not doing well, doesn't change the course of our country."

According to polls, Trump is in a hypothetical dead heat with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for the 2024 republican nomination for president. Not long ago, Trump had a stranglehold on the nomination.

Joe, who has publicly supported Gov. DeSantis, doesn't want to throw the former president a lifeline.

"I think you can revitalize and rehabilitate someone's image in a way that is pretty shocking," the comedian said.

Regardless of his support, the UFC commentator thinks either DeSantis or Trump will beat Joe Biden, who he dubbed "a dead man."

"Biden shakes hands with people that aren't even there when he gets off stage," the podcaster said. "I think he's seeing ghosts."

Tom Hanks doesn't 'understand' why Tim Allen isn't in 'Lightyear'

Tom Hanks is still confused about why Disney's new "Lightyear" film doesn't feature Tim Allen's voice, particularly given that the "Home Improvement" star voiced the beloved Buzz Lightyear action figure in all four of the "Toy Story" films.

In an interview with CinemaBlend, Tom, who was the voice of Woody in "Toy Story," was asked about his new "Elvis" movie being in theaters at the same time as a Tim-less "Lightyear."

Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images for Disney

"How 'bout that? I actually wanted to go head-to-head with Tim Allen, and then they didn't let Tim Allen do it. I don't understand that," Tom said.

The "Forrest Gump" actor said he just hopes that people return to the theaters to see movies.

"Here's the thing: I want to go back in the theater with a bunch of strangers and leave with something in common," he said. "That's what I want to do. And going to see a movie with them, I'm looking forward to that."

Since announcing that Chris Evans was starring as the action hero, Disney has explained several times that "Lightyear" is the origin story of Tim Allen's action figure. Still, the explanation hasn't sat well. Even Tim shaded the movie, telling "Extra," "It's a wonderful story. It just doesn't seem to have any connection to the toy, and it's a little…I don't know. It just has no relationship to Buzz. It's just no connection. I wish there was a better connection."

There has been online speculation that Disney replaced Tim because of his conservative political views. Interestingly enough, Tim is currently filming an upcoming Disney series called "The Santa Clause."

Amanda Kloots has 'reframed' husband Nick Cordero's COVID death

Amanda Kloots remembers the heartbreak she felt when her husband, Nick Cordero, died of COVID complications on July 5, 2000. She's now "reframed" his death and even celebrates it.

In a touching tribute to her late husband, "The Talk" host said she and 3-year-old son Elvis, think about Nick every day.

"Two years ago today Elvis and I said goodbye to Nick. It was the hardest day of my life. There hasn't been a day I haven't missed him. Nick was a presence. His smile and laugh lit up a room. He loved everyone and was a great friend to anyone that knew him," she wrote alongside a series of photos and videos of the Broadway star.

Amanda then retold a story of a dream her friend experienced involving Nick.

"Last year on this day my girlfriend told me about beautiful dream she had," she wrote. "We were all at a party and Nick was there looking happy and radiant. When she asked him why he was there he said, 'What do you mean? Today is my birthday. It's the one day I get to come back and celebrate with everyone I love.'"

Scott Kirkland/Shutterstock

The dream changed everything for Amanda and allowed her to think of July 5 differently. In her eyes, it's a day that should be celebrated.

"Hearing this completely changed my mood. He's celebrating today? He's happy? Birth and death have so many similarities," Amanda said. "I can't possibly know what's on the other side but he was sending me a clear message. I quickly reframed this day. July 5th is Nicks 'new birth' day instead of his death day. This idea brought a positive light to a otherwise dark day.

"I decided then that I will celebrate with him today and always on July 5th," she said.

Amanda's post was set to Justin Bieber's "Ghost." In ending her heartwarming Instagram message she stole a line from the song.

"I love honey," she said. "I miss you more than life."

Howard Stern drops Marvel bombshell in hot-mic moment

Howard Stern is apparently joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he accidentally revealed on his SiriusXM show.

During a break in his show, the radio icon — who didn't realize his microphone was still on — let slip that he's part of Marvel's upcoming "Doctor Doom" project, which has yet to be officially announced.

The bombshell occurred as Howard spoke with his show's producer about booking potential guests for the show. He then said his schedule was booked solid for the summer.

"Are you working this summer?" co-host Robin Quivers asked Howard, to which he replied, "I told you, I'm going to do 'Doctor Doom.'"

While this would be a major role for many people, Howard admitted that he's not exactly enjoying the experience. "Believe me,  I'm f****** miserable about it," he said.

During the hot-mic moment, which TMZ obtained, the "King of all Media" told his crew that he reached out to Robert Downey Jr. for some acting tips, and he also asked his producer if he had "Iron Man" director Jon Favreau's number.

Little is known about "Doctor Doom," including whether it will be a film or a Disney+ series. There is also mystery surrounding which character Howard will play in the project.

Steven Tyler doing 'amazingly well' after completing rehab

Steven Tyler is out of rehab after a stay of more than a month.

He's doing "amazingly well," a source told TMZ on Friday, July 1.

Rick Diamond/REX/Shutterstock

On May 24, Aerosmith announced that its frontman had checked into rehab.

"As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years. After foot surgery to prepare for the stage and the necessity of pain management during the process, he has recently relapsed and voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery," the announcement said.

Robb Cohen/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

TMZ said the "Dude Looks Like a Lady" singer actually stayed longer than the 30 days he was supposed to complete in order "to make sure he felt good."

Following the stint, Steven, 74, reportedly looks as good as ever, as he's at a healthy weight and his skin looks well hydrated.

Although his post-rehab life looks bright, Steven and his team are realistic and aware that he is battling a lifelong addiction.

Steven is expected to be ready to go by the time the band takes the stage again in September.

Dave Coulier discusses Lori Loughlin's 'strange turn,' jail stint

Suffice to say, Dave Coulier never expected his "Full House" costar Lori Loughlin to end up with a criminal record.

"If you would have said at the beginning of 'Full House,' who's the one person who's going to end up going to jail, Lori was last on the list," he told E! News recently. "Lori is my best girlfriend in life. We make each other laugh really hard, through the tough times and the fun times."

Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock

The comedian knows that "everyone has their opinion" about the "When Calls the Heart" actress, but insisted she's a "wonderful human being" despite her life's "strange turn."

"There's a lot of untold story underneath that I don't think a lot of people know," he said. "We all make mistakes."

Rob Latour/Shutterstock

Lori and her husband, designer Mossimo Giannulli, were accused of paying $500,000 to get their two daughters — Olivia Jade and Isabella — accepted into the University of Southern California after falsely designating them as crew team recruits. The two eventually struck a plea deal and Lori served two months in prison, whereas her husband served five months in prison.

Lori's "Full House" family has supported her through it all. Prior to Bob Saget's passing, he said he sent her a text that read, "I love you and thinking of you, that's all."

"You know when it gets down to it, there's so much going on and so many people have gone through so much and you know … if you love somebody then you have to make that, decision and [ask yourself] is this something that causes me not to love a person and I love her," the later comedian told Page Six. "She's a sweetheart."

Bret Michaels gives health update after hospitalization, abrupt concert cancellation

Bret Michaels is "working on being back" after he was hospitalized and forced to cancel a Nashville concert at the very last second.

Rob Grabowski/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

"I was truly fired up to get on stage in the music city and perform, but due to an unknown complication & following hospitalization, it was not possible," he tweeted on Friday, July 1. "I send my deepest apologies for being unable to rock the stage tonight!! I'm working on being back 100% very soon & hope you rocked hard with my friends Motley [Crüe]/[Def] Leppard/Joan [Jett & The Blackhearts] and Classless Act!!!"

Bret and Poison were set to perform on Thursday night, but the singer quickly fell ill just before set time, TMZ reported. The band members told the crowd that they would not be performing, claiming the "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" singer had a bad reaction to medication and was being taken to the hospital.

While the vast majority of fans were understanding, others were upset about the 11th hour cancellation.

Bret's medical issues have been well-documented over the years. The rocker, who has type 1 diabetes, had a brain hemorrhage in 2010. In 2011, he had surgery to repair a hole in his heart following a miniature stroke. Then, in 2014, Bret had kidney surgery.

Singer Olivia O'Brien claims Pete Davidson dumped her over text in 2020

Singer/influencer Olivia O'Brien claimed that she briefly dated Pete Davidson but found out it was over via a text message.

Jon Kopaloff/Getty Images

The "Saturday Night Live" alum apparently moved on to "Bridgerton" actress Phoebe Dynevor.

"He texted me and was like, 'I'm seeing someone else. So, like, I can't,'" she said on Wednesday's episode of the "BFFs" podcast.

The blink-and-you-missed-it tryst between the two occurred in 2020 and barely made a blip in the radar. Olivia seemed surprised to be speaking about Pete, saying the relationship happened "a long time ago" and didn't think "anyone knew about that."

Asked about his appeal, Olivia, 22, said, "He's hot and he's really funny. And he's really sweet. He's a really sweet guy."

Despite the unceremonious text message split, the "Josslyn" singer insisted that Pete is a "nice guy" and gets annoyed when "guys don't get" his appeal. Women, she implied, understand why Pete has long been a hot commodity.

Scott Kirkland/PictureGroup for TUBI/Shutterstock

She might be correct, as many women have said glowing things about the funnyman. Marisa Tomei told Rolling Stone of her "King of Staten Island" co-star, "He's unfiltered, but very sensitive. So he's almost an irresistible combination. And he's good-looking." Kate Beckinsale and Kaley Cuoco have both praised Pete over the years, too.

Although Pete and Phoebe never publicly confirmed their romance, they were photographed several times together, even attending a Wimbledon match last July. They split a month later, and "The King of Staten Island" star began dating Kim Kardashian in fall 2021. After a recent episode of "The Kardashians," a fans tweeted, "Kimberly is in LOVE lmao it's so cute." Khloe Kardashian responded, "Isn't it??? She is in LOOOOOVVVEEEE."

On anniversary of prison release, new footage of Bill Cosby's ride home is released

It's been one year since Bill Cosby was sent home from prison, and new video from that day shows the disgraced comedian detailing how he found out about his release.

During his ride home from SCI Phoenix, Cosby's publicist recorded their conversation.

"It's starting to hit," Cosby told Andrew V. Wyatt in the newly released one-year-old video. "I was in the bed, in the cot, and they opened the door because it's one o'clock, and about four or five guys yelling, 'Bill, get up! You're going home!' And they put the shoes, my shower shoes on the wrong foot, and I said wait, and they said, 'No, you don't understand, you're free!' And I said, 'What is this, Juneteenth?' But man, when I left, murderers, rapists, bank robbers, wife beaters, all clapping."

https://www.instagram.com/p/CfbvY18g9Lj/?hl=en

On June 30, 2021, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned the comedian's felony sexual assault conviction nearly three years into his three-to-10-year prison sentence. In 2018, he was found guilty of drugging and assaulting Andrea Constand, a Temple University employee, at his home in 2004.

Matt Rourke/AP/Shutterstock

According to the state's Supreme Court judges last year, Cosby should not have faced a criminal trial because a previous district attorney had years earlier agreed not to charge the man once known as America's Dad after he was deposed in a civil lawsuit that Andrea brought in 2005 in which he gave potentially incriminating testimony.

The Supreme Court also disagreed with the trial judge's decision to let five other women testify to prove a pattern of abuse. In layman's terms, the high court said Cosby's rights were violated.

During the ride home, Cosby told his rep, "I'm a free man, you know." He later said he needed to "rest" because his heart was "heavy."

Prior to the lengthy video, Andrew had teased its release. He also posted a up-to-date photo of the man once known as Inmate NN7687, which "The Cosby Show" alum reposted.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CfZvvoQPlba/?hl=en

"After two years and 10 months fighting for my life and the truth – one year of freedom home with my family sure looks good on me (At least that's what my wife says)," Cosby captioned the  photo.

The anniversary of the release comes just a week after a jury found Cosby liable in a civil case brought by Judy Huth, a woman who claimed he sexually assaulted her as a 17-year-old in the 1970. She was awarded $500,000 in damages.

The woman alleged that Cosby molested her in a bedroom at the Playboy Mansion.

"I was elated," Judy said of the verdict. "It has been so many years, so many tears."

Cosby's rep said the former actor was happy with the verdict. "What happened today wasn't a victory, because they didn't get the punitive damages," the spokesman said.

Danny Bonaduce opens up about mystery illness than left him unable to speak, walk

Unable to walk or form sentences, Danny Bonaduce was a shell of himself after coming down with a mystery illness earlier this year. He's still at 100%.

The former "Partridge Family" star was first alerted to his health situation after his wife, Amy, noticed his strange speech pattern in May. From there, his symptoms only got worse.

Jss Images/BEI/Shutterstock

"I couldn't walk at all," he told "Good Morning America" this week. "I couldn't do anything like that. She looked really nervous. And she said, 'You're not saying words, you're not speaking English,' which of course is preposterous to me."

"We call an ambulance and [it] took me to the hospital where I remained for the first five days and remember very little of it," he said.

After his health became more stable, the actor was determined to find out what was wrong with him, but doctors were flummoxed.

"I couldn't walk," he said. "I couldn't keep my balance. I slurred really badly. I was afraid of everything. I was afraid of my stairs for God's sake — I was hoping for a diagnosis but did not get one."

Doctors, however, were able to rule out a stroke.

"There was nothing that said this was gonna happen," he added. "Take time to consider your health and what you're doing. Pay attention."

Although his health remains a mystery, Danny is well enough to return to his Seattle radio show, which he did on Monday, June 27.

"My brain is still a little fuzzy but that's never stopped me — or the people who hire me," he joked on Instagram before returning to the airwaves.
