Susan Lucci reveals she underwent emergency heart procedure

Susan Lucci revealed that she recently underwent a second heart procedure.

While speaking to "Good Morning America" on Feb. 14, the Emmy-winning actress said she felt discomfort around her ribcage and didn't waste time getting it checked out.

Stephen Lovekin/REX/Shutterstock

"I was having kind of a shortness of breath," she said, adding that she felt similar symptoms when she had her 2019 heart scare.

"I thought, 'This is crazy. These are the same kind of symptoms that I had three years ago but it can't be,'" she continued. "But when I lay down, I started to feel a sharp coming-and-going pain in my jaw."

After going to the emergency room, the "All My Children" star found out she had an 80 perfect blockage in one of her arteries.

On the heels of her scare, the acting icon urged women to listen to their bodies and know the warning signs of heart failure.

"Listen to your heart and act on it," she stated. "Be your own best friend. Be your own advocate. You'll save your life."

She added, "I feel so lucky to have the platform that I have. The fans that I have made over the years are so passionate and so wonderful. I'm so grateful for them in my life and I just wanted to be able to do something more than entertain."

Back in 2019, Susan spoke to Variety about her initial heart scare.

"I was very lucky. I wound up going to the emergency room and having a 90% blockage in my main artery, 75% blockage in another," she said. "The next day when I was released after they put two stents in, they did emergency surgery, I called my publicist and asked, is there any way I can tell my story now? Because maybe now another woman will be listening and somehow she'll get lucky too."

Charlize Theron's Super Bowl 'mystery man' revealed

Charlize Theron is revealing the identity of the "mystery man" with whom she attended the Super Bowl — apparently he's her friend's husband!

On Sunday, several websites wondered who the man was, speculating that he could be a romantic interest. Shortly after, Charlize took to Instagram to identify her game date.

Charlize Theron/Instagram

"Super Bowl with my 'mystery man,'" she captioned a photo with the guy. "Thanks for letting me borrow your hubby Ash."

As expected, many of the "Atomic Blonde" actress's Instagram followers said they'd be more than happy to attend a game with her if she needs a sidekick again.

Charlize clearly had a good time at Super Bowl LVI, even posting a photo of herself dancing for the stadium's Jumbotron.

"You better werk #SBLVI #GoRams," she captioned the fun snap.

Charlize hasn't publicly dated anyone since her two-year romance with Sean Penn ended in 2015. When asked about her romantic status in 2019, she described herself as "shockingly available."

She also told James Corden she's a tough person to be in a relationship with.

"I'm very OCD, I don't like the idea of having too much stuff — or stuff that I don't use — it really bothers me, yes," she admitted, sharing an example of how she once tossed her man's shoes. "I was in a relationship and whenever this person went out of town, I couldn't help myself. I needed to get kind of rid of — listen, I was being helpful, I think — because men's shoes are tricky. He had very tricky shoes and when he was out of town, I would get rid of the tricky shoes and he would come home and within two hours say, 'Where are my straw shoes?' And I'm like, 'Did you just hear yourself? You're wearing straw shoes — no grown man should wear straw shoes' … and he had like the clown patch shoes, the fabric patch."

Kanye West, Julia Fox split following his rants about Kim, Pete

After a very public six-week romance, Kanye West and Julia Fox have split up.

The "Uncut Gems" actress's rep confirmed that the two broke up, telling Page Six, "Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators, but they are no longer together."

J M HAEDRICH/SIPA/Shutterstock

Kanye and Julia were never exclusive, as he is reportedly dating a Kim Kardashian lookalike in Los Angeles, and Julia is talking to another man on the east coast.

Julia seems to be taking the split in stride, taking to her Instagram Story to dish on the brief romance.

"Y'all would love if I was soooo upset! The media would love to paint a picture of a sad lonely woman crying on a plane by myself but it's NOT TRUE," she wrote in a since-deleted post. "Why not see me for what I am which is a #1 hustler. I came up yall lol and not only that but Kanye and I are on good terms! I have love for him but I wasn't in love with the man Jesus Christ what do you think I am, 12 years old?!"

David Fisher/Shutterstock

During the course of their relationship, Kanye publicly pleaded with Kim for a reconciliation. He also went on several social media tirades and zeroed in on his estranged wife and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, whom he has nicknamed "Skete."

Last month, he accused Kim of "kidnapping" their daughter Chicago on her 4th birthday, and he publicly blasted his ex for letting their older daughter, North, have a TikTok account.

"Kanye's constant attacks on me in interviews and on social media is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create," Kim later shared. "As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision — because it brings her happiness. Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye's obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all."

Wendy Williams denies she's struggling with mental health

Wendy Williams is hitting back at claims that she's "incapacitated."

"Wendy wants the world to know that she strenuously denies all allegations about her mental health and well-being," her lawyer LaShawn Thomas said in a statement to Page Six.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

The talk show host's mental state has been thrown into question of late since her bank froze her personal accounts amid claims she's being exploited, something she vehemently denies. Her attorney insisted that Wendy is "fine" and is "of sound mind."

"[She is] disappointed about falsely circulated statements from an industry she has devoted her life to," LaShawn said. "Wendy is grateful for the love and the outpouring of support she has received from her fans, and she can't wait to get back. She thanks everyone who has been patiently awaiting her return and believes that, thanks in large part to the love and support of her son, her family, her new team of doctors and a change of scenery, she is on the mend."

Wendy has been MIA from her eponymous daytime talk show since July 2021. There is no timetable for when, or if, Wendy will return to TV.  During her hiatus, Wendy has been employing "holistic health professionals to help her reach optimal health during her treatment of Graves' disease and thyroid concerns."

While she works on her health, her current battle with her bank, Wells Fargo, is weighing heavily on her.

NameFace LLC/Shutterstock

People magazine obtained legal documents, filed on Feb. 4, in which Wendy argued she's been "denied any access, whether online or otherwise, to her financial accounts, assets, and statements" for more than two weeks. She asked a court to overrule the bank, claiming it has "impeded and unlawfully prevented" her access to money she's earned.

In its own filing, the financial institution dug in its heels, claiming, "Wells Fargo has strong reason to believe that [Williams] is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation." This conclusion was based on "reports of the financial advisor, who has recently witnessed telltale signs of exploitation, including [Williams]'s own expressed apprehensions." In addition, Wells Fargo is relying on reports from "other independent third parties who know [Williams] well and share these concerns."

The docs did not state who is allegedly exploiting Wendy, but the 57-year-old believes the financial institution is basing its opinion solely on the word of her former financial advisor, Lori Schiller, who said Wendy "was of unsound mind."

Wendy argued that Lori was fired because of her "malfeasance in relation to [Williams]'s accounts and Schiller's improper conduct in relation to their professional relationship."

Further, if the court does nothing and the bank refuses to grant Wendy access to her money, she says she "will be in default of several bill payments, including her mortgages, her marital settlement payment, and employee payroll" and will "continue to suffer imminent and irreparable harm."

Dana Carvey updates status of friendship with Wayne's World co-star Mike Myers after alleged feud

Friendship on!

"Wayne's World" costars Mike Myers and Dana Carvey have moved past their long-running feud and are back on good terms.

While appearing on The Howard Stern Show this week, Dana said the men's sometimes fraught relationship has "come full circle."

Jim Smeal/BEI/Shutterstock

"We've become very, very close friends. We just have too much history, we have an unbelievable amount of stuff in common … then we had so much shared history together riding the rocket of Wayne's World," he said.

In the past, Dana said he was upset at Mike's Dr. Evil character from "Austin Powers," which was based on Dana's impression of "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels. That's all water under the bridge, as Dana chalked up their reconciliation to maturity.

"The only good thing about getting old is you just sort of, you get a little more wisdom, you get a little more perspective and you practice forgiveness for others and for yourself," he told Howard.

Paramount Pictures

One of the catalysts for their friendship was a Super Bowl commercial they did last year. The former "SNL" stars became closer after spending time together again.

"It's very nice to have such a long friendship with someone," he continued. "I just feel like I came to know him in a much better way as we've been really, really talking a lot in these last couple years and put him in context, understand him and just really appreciate him."

Interestingly, the men were never supposed to be forever linked.

"Mike and I became a comedy team by accident, we were in a sketch, it became a movie, 'What does Garth do? What does Wayne do?', so there was conflict over how that was going to come together but we were just riding that rocket," he added. "It wasn't personal."

Pat Sajak denies 'Wheel of Fortune' is fixed after week of historic wins

Following a historic week on "Wheel of Fortune," Pat Sajak is denying speculation of foul play.

For the first time ever, three consecutive contestants won the $100,000 prize this week. Naturally, some viewers felt that some fishy business might have been happening behind the scenes. Pat, though, was quick to point out that rigging a game show is a serious offense and not one he's interested in being a part of.

"A quick reminder to conspiracy theorists: thanks to the quiz show scandals of the 1950s, fixing a TV game show is a federal crime," he tweeted. "I really like our players, and I'd like them all to win, but I draw the line at serving prison time."

https://twitter.com/PatOnWheel/status/1491467600169254916

After that, a former "Wheel of Fortune" named Robert Santoli suggested that Pat and Vanna White open all the final round envelopes to prove that there is just one $100,000 prize.

"I also sometimes see your card that marks the $100K spot in red," Robert said, "so you know where it is before they even spin!"

Patrick Lewis/Starpix/Shutterstock

Pat laughed off the recommendation.

"Anyone silly enough to believe in things like that cannot be convinced of anything. It would be a total waste of time," the longtime host tweeted.

He then referenced the uproar from late last year in which a woman answered the final puzzle correctly and within the allotted time frame, but she lost out on an Audi because she didn't utter the winning answer in a continuous fashion.

"I love how one day we're 'robbing' players of their winnings and then we're 'allowing' them to win," Pat added. "Some folks just have a conspiratorial nature. Best to ignore."

Miranda Lambert and her husband are 'trying for a baby'

Miranda Lambert is ready to be a mama.

The country singer and husband Brendan McLoughlin have "recently started trying to get pregnant," a source told Us Weekly.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

The "Heart Like Mine" singer and the former New York City police officer celebrated their third anniversary last month.

"She and Brendan decided after their third wedding anniversary, they would start trying," Us' source added. "Miranda is thrilled and Brendan has always wanted to [have kids with her]."

Parenting isn't a foreign concept to the duo, as Brendan already has one child, a son, with ex Kaihla Rettinger. Miranda, of course, is the stepmom to 3-year-old Landon.

"I'm loving that whole phase," the Pistol Annies singer told Extra in June 2019. "And I've raised a million dogs, so I feel like I've got that part of my womanly/motherly thing full, so this is a whole new journey. It's great."

Recently, Miranda marked her and Brendan's anniversary on Instagram, as she shared several images of them looking loved up.

"Spent a few days in the sun with my sunshine," she captioned the series of photos, adding a ring emoji and the hashtag "three years."

Miranda has long been the subject of pregnancy rumors. In 2020, an insider told Us that she was "telling friends that she wants a baby and to be with Brendan forever." The source added, "Brendan wants to expand their family."

Wendy Williams denied access to bank account amid exploitation claims

Wendy Williams is fighting with her bank after it cut off her access to "several million dollars."

The bank, Wells Fargo, alleges that it froze Wendy's personal account because it believes the talk show host is being exploited and "incapacitated."

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

People magazine obtained legal documents, filed on Feb. 4, in which Wendy argued she's been "denied any access, whether online or otherwise, to her financial accounts, assets, and statements" for more than two weeks. She's now asked a court to overrule the bank, which she says has "impeded and unlawfully prevented" her access to money she's earned.

This conclusion was based on "reports of the financial advisor, who has recently witnessed telltale signs of exploitation, including [Williams]'s own expressed apprehensions." In addition, Wells Fargo is relying on reports from "other independent third parties who know [Williams] well and share these concerns."

A lawyer for the bank plainly said in a letter that Wendy was "incapacitated."

The docs do not state who is allegedly exploiting Wendy, but the 57-year-old believes the financial institution is basing its opinion solely on the word of her former financial advisor, Lori Schiller, who says Wendy "was of unsound mind."

An attorney for Wendy, who is still MIA from her eponymous talk show, said, "Despite [Wells Fargo]'s assertion that its suspicions are genuine, their decision to deny [Williams] access to her financial assets for weeks without providing her or her counsel with adequate explanation or evidence to support its decision, and their decision to wait until [Williams] filed an emergency petition for a preliminary injunction before pursuing, or notifying [Williams] that it had pursued, a guardianship proceeding gives pause for concern about [Wells Fargo]'s intentions."

A spokesman for Wells Fargo told People, "We deny any allegations of improper actions with respect to Ms. Williams' accounts and are fully participating in a court process to reach a resolution that is in her best interest. The financial well-being of our clients is at the heart of everything we do."

Kanye West threatening to pull out of Coachella over perceived Billie Eilish diss

Kanye West is demanding that Billie Eilish publicly apologize to Travis Scott after appearing to diss him during a recent concert — Ye is even threatening to pull out of his headlining Coachella gig if she doesn't issue a mea culpa.

Billie, who is also set to headline Coachella this year, isn't playing ball, insisting she did nothing wrong.

David Fisher/Shutterstock

On Feb. 5, the "Happier Than Ever" singer went viral for stopping her show mid-concert after seeing a fan struggling to catch their breath. The 20-year-old summoned her team to get the fan an inhaler, an act of goodwill that was universally praised.

"We're taking care of our people, hold on. I wait for people to be OK until I keep going," she said, which many felt was a swipe at Travis.

On Feb. 10, Kanye felt like Billie crossed a line and vented in an all-caps Instagram message.

"COME ON BILLIE WE LOVE YOU PLEASE APOLOGIZE TO TRAV AND TO THE FAMILIES OF THE PEOPLE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES," he wrote. "NO ONE INTENDED THIS TO HAPPEN."

https://www.instagram.com/p/CZz61suuTn_/

Back in November, 10 people died at Travis' Astroworld concert in Houston due to a horrific crowd surge. Graphic videos soon followed, some showing medics trying to revive victims. Other videos included ambulances (with emergency lights on) struggling to fight through the massive crowd, and further clips featured concertgoers begging Travis' team to stop the show amid the chaos.

Kanye insisted in his new post that Travis was unaware of the tragedy unfolding in the crowd that evening.

"TRAV DIDN'T HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHAT WAS HAPPENING WHEN HE WAS ON STAGE AND WAS VERY HURT BY WHAT HAPPENED," Ye wrote before his ultimatum. "AND YES TRAV WILL BE WITH ME AT COACHELLA BUT NOW I NEED BILLIE TO APOLOGIZE BEFORE I PERFORM."

Upon seeing the Instagram post, Billie stood her ground.

"I literally never said a thing about travis," she commented, indicating she was "just helping a fan."

'Bachelor' Matt James hits photographer with golf ball after atrocious tee shot: Video

Do you accept this bruise?

Matt James is trying to make things right after accidentally hitting a photographer with a golf ball due to an errant tee shot.

On Feb. 9, the former "Bachelor" star was taking part in the Waste Management Phoenix Open Pro-Am Tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona. While teeing off, he sliced the golf ball horribly and sent it into the throng of credentialed photographers who'd lined up to shoot him.

The ball hit a photographer named Steve Cortez in the thigh, but thankfully there were no serious injuries and two even laughed off the shank.

"I just really want to apologize again for [hitting you]," the "Dancing With the Stars" alum said afterward in a video for the PGA. "I was not aiming for you — frankly, I don't think I was aiming for anything and that's the problem. I probably shouldn't have even stepped out here."

Matt immediately checked on the Steve and even offered up the demonic golf ball.

"We came centimeters from causing some real damage," Matt said. "I will be back next year, but don't fret because I'm gonna put in a lot of work between now and then, and it's only up. I owe you a beer, I owe you dinner."

Steve, the photographer, told a PGA crew member of Matt, "He's a good guy. He felt bad."

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

The reality TV star later joked on his Instagram Story that he "can't legally hold or swing a golf club … until I undergo 100 hours of intense golf training. [Which is] warranted."

After learning that Matt plans to return next year, Steve promised, "Next year, I'm wearing a cup."

How Kelly Ripa really feels about viewers commenting on her hair

Kelly Ripa is locking in on fans who constantly have an opinion about her hair.

While chatting with her "Live With Kelly and Ryan" co-host Ryan Seacrest during the Feb. 9 episode, Kelly wondered if he faces the same follicle criticism she does.

David Fisher/Shutterstock

"Do people weigh in on your hair?" she asked Ryan. "People weigh in on my hair in a way where it is like, 'Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't ask you whether or not you liked my hair cut.'"

Executive producer Michael Gelman interjected that people write in "all the time" about what Kelly's hair looks like. But, Ryan also gets hair-raising fan mail.

"People write in all the time about the height of your hair, what your hair looks like, what you should do with your hair. Both of you," Michael said.

For Kelly, comments aren't just limited to the show.

"People do come up at the store," she bemoaned. "They are like, 'I like your hair this length.' I'm like, 'I have no comparative for your hair, but I'm assuming it looks pretty great every day.'"

Kelly previously noted that she tried to embrace her gray roots in the beginning of the pandemic, but she ultimately decided it wasn't for her.

"I think certain people look great with their gray hair," she added. "I think it depends on the person. I really do."

Super Bowl using interesting tactic to protect halftime show

The NFL is being super secret about the Super Bowl halftime show.

According to TMZ, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Eminem have been rehearsing for their highly-anticipated spectacle at SoFi Stadium. Organizers, though, are so scared of leaks that rock music is blaring outside the stadium to drown out the music inside — all in an effort to protect the 12-minute show.

Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images

Residents who live near SoFi have been listening to a steady soundtrack of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bon Jovi, according to the report. One problem: the rehearsals have been going late into the night, and the outside music doesn't stop until Dre and company are finished inside.

The anticipation will be worth it, Mary J says.

"Man, this thing is the most epic thing in music, like in hip-hop, R&B history, this is — man, L.A. is never ever gonna be the same," she told "Good Morning America" on Feb. 9. "I watched the rehearsals — watching each person's performance, I had goosebumps watching it."

"Just know this: It's some history, man. … It's a celebration how far you know hip-hop has come, how far R&B has come … music and our culture," she added.

In a chat with the Associated Press, Snoop noted, "I'm still thinking I'm in a dream because I can't believe that they will let a real hip-hop artist grace the stage in an NFL Super Bowl. We're just going to wait for that moment and put something together that's spectacular, and do what we're known for doing and add on to the legacy."

Lala Kent hires a private investigator to run background checks on dates

Lala Kent is done taking chances with her love life.

While speaking to Amazon Live on Feb. 8, the "Vanderpump Rules" star said she's hired a private investigator to run background checks on potential dates — this after her former fiancé, Randall Emmett, allegedly cheated on her.

Rob Latour/Shutterstock

"I will never welcome someone into my life again without a full background check, and I mean in-depth," she said. "I got to see what your credit is. I need to know your family history. I need to know everything you've been involved with. I'm going deep."

Lala, 31, added, "I now have, like, this PI guy who I just randomly send people to. I'm like, 'Hey, before I go anywhere with this person, I'm going to need to know his story.' Damaged, I guess."

Since splitting with Randall, a movie producer, last fall, Lala hasn't had much good to say about the father of her 10-month-old daughter, Ocean. That didn't change during the new interview.

"And this could be the trauma — I don't remember anything about my relationship. I don't remember any good moments," she said. "I can only remember the demise of it, so maybe that's my mind trying to protect me. Back to the lighter part of it: He made it easy, trust me. Wasn't much to miss."

Broadimage/Shutterstock

Lala's contention toward her ex came just a day after revealing she's essentially paid to create drama on "Vanderpump Rules."

"My show rewards me for confrontation and speaking up. I don't want to say that I like confrontation, but I will say that I'm great at it," she said on the Feb. 7 edition of Dear Media's "Trading Secrets." "It's not something where I leave feeling amazing after it happens, but I know what I signed up for and I'm being paid for my thoughts. When cameras aren't on, I tend to pick my battles a little bit better. But when cameras are on, it's, like, 'Well, I have a thought and I'm going to say it.'"

Later in the interview, she noted that keeping brand "relevant" outside of TV helps her team better negotiate her salary on "Vanderpump Rules."

'Goonies' costars Chuck and Data reunite in Disneyland: Picture

The two actors posed for several images at the Happiest Place on Earth, as they rode rides together and spent time at Star Wars land.

The men have reunited several times in the past, something fans of the movie can't get enough of. After Jeff's post, Josh Gad even commented, "Love this."

Both Jeff and Ke Huy have largely retreated from the spotlight since their "Goonies" days. Jeff is now a partner at a Los Angeles law firm. Ke Huy, meanwhile, has begun to dabble in acting again after taking a long break. Since the early '90s, Ke Huy has only been featured in a handful of projects. However, last year he starred in the film "Finding 'Ohana." And, in addition to his upcoming Disney Plus series, Ke Huy has a role in March's action-adventure "Everything Everywhere All at Once."
