Morgan Wallen performs on stage for first time since N-word incident

Morgan Wallen is back in front of his fans.

Rick Diamond/Shutterstock

On May 19, the singer surprised the crowd with an unannounced mini performance at Kid's Big Ass Honky Tonk bar in Nashville. It's the first time he's performed on stage since his self-imposed hiatus, which came on the heels of his N-word scandal.

"What's going on Nashville. How you doing?," he asked the crowd as it worked itself into a frenzy. "This is my first time singing in public in a long time, so I'm going to need y'all  to sing loud."

The crowd — many of whom recorded the impromptu performance on their cell phones — obliged as Morgan reportedly sang "Whiskey Glasses" and "Wasted On You."

It's been a bit of a rough go for the chart-topping country singer.

On Feb. 2, Morgan, during a drunken night out, was caught on camera using the N-word in a leaked video. The fallout from the scandal was swift: Big Loud Records suspended him "indefinitely"; his agency dropped him; the Academy of Country Music awards said he wasn't eligible for awards this year, as did the Billboard Awards; perhaps worst, nearly every radio station in the country took him out of its rotation

One week after the video, Morgan apologized in a five-minute video on Instagram, saying he was "long overdue to make a statement" and "wanted to collect my thoughts, seek some real guidance," and come before fans "with a complete thought" before doing so.

Morgan said that at the time of the leaked video, he was "on hour 72 of 72 of a bender."

Katie Darby/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

Since then, the 28-year-old has met with Black organizations to discuss his words.

A few months after the incident, Morgan posted a 4-page handwritten letter about the self-reflection he's gone through since he was caught on camera uttering the N-word.

"I know my corner hasn't been the most popular one to stand in recently, but many of you did anyway," he wrote. "I'm proud of the work I've put in and in many ways thankful to have had the time to do it. I've needed this time off. I will always strive to be better. Not only has this time revealed to me the ways in which I want to improve but it's also reminded me that I am still very proud of who I am and the man I am becoming."

The scandal came a few months after his "Saturday Night Live" appearance was canceled for violating COVID protocols.

Still, throughout all it, his music didn't seem to suffer —  his LP "Dangerous: The Double Album" broke records on the Billboard charts despite no radio airplay.

Lisa Rinna reacts to teen daughter's romance with Scott Disick

Lisa Rinna is slowly opening up about her thoughts on her teenage daughter dating Scott Disick.

While appearing on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," Lisa laughed hysterically when asked what she thought of Amelia Gray Hamlin's roance with the much older "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star.

"Yeah," Lisa said while fighting through giggles.

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

Andy Cohen asked if Lisa had spoken to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner about the relationship.

"I have not," Lisa said. "I have met him now."

Being careful with her words (a rarity for Lisa), the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star told Andy that Scott was "very similar to what [Andy] thought when [he] met him" at the upcoming "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" reunion.

@letthelordbewithyou/Instagram

Scott, 37, and Amelia, 19, were first linked last fall shortly after he split with 22-year-old Sofia Richie. Fans were shocked at Scott and Amelia's romance due to their 18 year age difference.

"He's more handsome in person, and he was very nice," Lisa said. "We had a very nice time. He met [Lisa's husband] Harry [Hamlin], and there you go."

In ending the conversation, Lisa said, "It is what it us. It is what it is."

Amelia and Scott have quickly grown closer of late, as she's even spent time with his three children — Mason, 11, Penelope, 8, and Reign, 6 — whom he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian.

Chrishell Stause is 'unbothered' by ex Justin Hartley's secret marriage

Despite what some media outlets are claiming, Chrishell Stause is unfazed by her ex-husband Justin Hartley's secret wedding to her former friend Sofia Pernas.

Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock

On her Instagram Story, Chrishell ripped reporting about her supposed reaction to the nuptials.

"I see 'sources' are speaking for me," the "Selling Sunset" star posted alongside an eye-roll emoji. "If I have something to say, I will say it here. If it's not on my page, it didn't come from me."

In hinting at her actual reaction, she used a hashtag "booked and unbothered."

The Instagram post came after an insider told E! News that Chrishell was not "entirely surprised by Justin getting married so quickly." A source also told "Entertainment Tonight" that the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant was "a little surprised."

John Salangsang/REX/Shutterstock

Justin filed for divorce from Chrishell in November 2019 after two years of marriage, and after six years together. She claimed she was blindsided by the split, indicating Justin told her via a text message, which she thought was a joke. She later said she had less than an hour to process the divorce filing before media outlets began reporting on it.

Quickly after, Justin was linked to his former "Young and the Restless" co-star Sofia, who was once Chrishell's friend. The couple went Instagram official on New Year's Eve 2020. On May 17, multiple media outlets confirmed that Justin and Sofia secretly married — this just one day after their first red carpet appearance together.

The ceremony was "super intimate" and took place "very, very recently," a source told Us Weekly. "Justin and Sofia had always been flirty friends on 'The Young and the Restless.' Their chemistry is just off the charts."

'Crocodile Dundee' icon 'desperate' to leave L.A. as homelessness surges

Paul Hogan has had it with the homeless epidemic in Los Angeles and is "desperately" wanting to return to his native Australia.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

The "Crocodile Dundee" star lives in a $3.5 million property in L.A.'s Venice Beach area, which has seen a surge in homelessness amid the coronavirus pandemic. Paul has become so incensed with the neighborhood that he recently pinned a note to his garage that read, "THIS IS MY HOUSE NOT YOURS," according to the Daily Mail.

In a chat with Australia's "Sunrise" last week, Paul bemoaned that he's "desperately homesick" and never leaves his home anymore due to the newly forming tent villages outside his walls. He also claimed that he will return to The Land Down Under once the two-week hotel quarantine rule in Australia is lifted.

"You're living in a country right now, alongside New Zealand, that's the light of the world," he told the Aussie morning show. "I'm living in LA county which has 10 million people, and about half of 'em got COVID. So am I homesick? You bet your life."

His current living situation, he said, is a "hell hole."

Paul's recent interview, however, didn't come without backlash.

"A lot of people would like to be doing it 'tough' like Hogan," one person said on Twitter, referencing Paul's enviable beachside home. Another wrote, "Quarantine like everyone else …or stay in America #entitled."

Some people sympathized with Paul and said they appreciated that he wasn't expecting to bypass the quarantine rules due to his celebrity status.

"Lay off of him," one Twitter user said. "He said he'd come back when he didn't have to quarantine; he did NOT say he wanted special treatment to avoid that."

Mischa Barton says she left 'The O.C.' because of bullying on set

Mischa Barton claims in a new interview that she left "The O.C." during its height due to on-set "bullying."

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

In a chat with E! News, the actress didn't name who was behind the alleged toxic culture, but said it was "some of the men on set" of the show that aired from 2003 to 2007.

"I think that's the internal struggle," Mischa said. "There were people on that set that were very mean to me. It wasn't, like, the most ideal environment for a young, sensitive girl who's also been thrust into stardom to have to put up with."

Mischa was 17 years old when she played Marissa Cooper. The character was killed off during season 3. The tragic end to Marissa Cooper was shocking at the time, and the show's creator has even recently said that he questions if that was the right move.

Warner Bros Tv/Kobal/Shutterstock

Mischa is now open to speaking about her time on the show, based on where we are as a society.

"Now that we're living in this era where we do speak out about our experiences and women do come clean about what was really going on behind the scenes and how they were treated, it's a slightly different thing," she said.

While she's used to the limelight now, the 35-year-old actress noted how difficult it was to grow up in the public eye during her formative teen years both during and after "The O.C."

"Just dealing with like the amount of invasion I was having in my personal life, I just felt very unprotected, I guess is the best way to put it," she said.

'Game of Thrones' star loses 100 pounds — see the difference!

The actor, who once weighed nearly a quarter ton, has lost over 100 pounds, he revealed on Instagram this week.

In a side-by-side image  — one from recent times and the other undated — the man known by "GOT" fans as "The Mountain" announced that he's gone from roughly 452 pounds to 342 pounds. The new image show him incredibly muscular and toned.

Chrissy Teigen reportedly loses another partnership over bullying scandal

Things aren't exactly blooming for Chrissy Teigen.

Just one day after a report said the model's Cravings by Chrissy Teigen cookware line was pulled from Macy's due to her online bullying scandal, a different report on May 18 claims that Bloomingdale's walked away from a deal with Chrissy at the 11th hour.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

"They pretty much had it together … but had to cancel it," a Bloomingdale's source told Page Six.

The insider says the deal was ready to be inked on May 17 and an in-store promotional event was apart of the agreement. But, due to the negative press surrounding Chrissy because of the tweets, the department store backed out of the deal just "hours" before the contracts were set to be signed.

Chrissy's reputation has been taking a beating of late after messages from 2011 and 2012 resurfaced that showed her bullying Courtney Stodden. Chrissy has owned up to the vile messages and apologized to Courtney. Since then, several companies have distanced themselves from the mother of two.

According to The Sun, Macy's has stopped carrying her Cravings cookware line. This comes just days after it was reported that Target stopped carrying the line, as well. While Target broke ties with the model before the scandal, the Macy's development appears to be directly related to the online bullying. Shoppers trying to purchase Chrissy's products were told they were "unavailable" on Macy's website this weekend. By May 17, a search for Craving's products on the department store's site said, "We couldn't find a match for your search."

Germaphobe Howie Mandel terrified of ending up like Howard Hughes

Howie Mandel actually understands how legendary business magnate Howard Hughes famously locked himself in a hotel room and refused to leave due to a deep-seeded fear of catching germs.

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

The comedian, who suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, is terrified of ending up that way, and he knows that it's not impossible.

In a chat with Page Six, the "America's Got Talent" judge said he spends "every moment of my existence knowing that Howard Hughes ended up alone in a room naked peeing in bottles."

Hughes was insanely wealthy, but his OCD often got the best of him, as he'd spend months isolated, eating the exact same meal and urinating in bottles. He died in 1976.

Moviestore/REX/Shutterstock

"I can't tell you how many times and how close I am to that," Howie said. "Humor has been a great bridge for me to somewhat sanity and productivity but I teeter on that so that makes it really tough. I get it, I understand how he got to where he was easier than I understand how other humans are functioning and touching and doing."

In addition to OCD, Howie also suffers from mysophobia, a fear of germs. During the coronavirus pandemic, he acknowledged that he was "on medication" and joked that the PPE shortage in the early days was because of him.

"I'd been hoarding gloves and masks and hazmat suits for the last 50 years," he said, adding that he gave them all away.

Andrew H. Walker/REX/Shutterstock

For months, he and his wife, Terry, wouldn't let their three adult children come to their home due to COVID-19. In fact, their grandchildren had to wave at them through windows. Last year, he told the New York Post that he's "moving my therapist into a whole new tax bracket on the phone" because of his COVID fears.

Howie knows that his condition is unique and acknowledges that is what might save him from perhaps ending up like Howard Hughes.

"It's really easy to fall into that dark hole and just fall," Howie said of his condition. "But if you are aware that you're falling or teetering, that's the first step. And the next thing is distraction, which is why I love working so much."

Dax Shepard recalls talk show appearance that nearly wrecked career

Dax Shepard is revealing that he got temporarily banned from Conan O'Brien's talk show after a disastrous interview in 2004.

While speaking on Blake Griffin's Audible podcast "The Pursuit of Healthiness," the actor said he was in the thralls of his much-documented substance abuse addiction when he sat down with Conan that fateful evening.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

"Professionally, the only wreckage I really had while I was an addict was I went on Conan and I had done the pre-interview in a blackout and I woke up to the hotel security shaking me awake, and I was with a stranger and the stranger had peed the bed, or I had peed the bed, someone had peed the bed," Dax said.

At the time, Dax had to get to Conan's set quickly.

"I had to be on Conan in literally 20 minutes from getting shook awake by a hotel security guard that my publicist convinced to open the room," he continued. "And I show up on the show, I don't know what [Conan] is talking about. I can tell he's queuing me up for stories I've told, but I don't know any of the stories. So, I'm just doing what I can to be funny out there and I am a mess."

The audience seemed receptive to Dax, but Conan knew the whole thing was a "disaster," the former "Punk'd" star indicated.

"I didn't know any of the stories. I broke a coffee table," he added. "So I was banned from that show for some years, until I got sober and I got myself back on it and now I've been on it a bazillion times, but that was probably the only career wreckage-y thing I did."

Erik Pendzich/REX/Shutterstock

Last fall, the former "Parenthood" star announced that he had relapsed after 16 years of sobriety. To help keep his sobriety in tact, Dax said he and his wife, Kristin Bell, have taken steps to keep him honest. In a recent chat with Self magazine, the actress said they have drug tests at home.

"[Dax said,] 'You can drug-test me whenever you want. I'm going to buy some tests. I'm going to have them in the house. If you ever feel nervous, I want you to have access to this and I'll do it, no questions asked,'" she told the mag.

Kristen has yet to make him take one.

"He's just good at trying, and that's all you can ask of anyone. No one's perfect," she continued. "He's proven to me that he is committed to evolving and he loves personal growth."

Danny Masterson claims Remini using inside man to influence rape case

Danny Masterson continues to believe that Leah Remini is pulling the strings when it comes to his rape case.

In new court documents, the "That '70s Show" actor claims that Leah is pushing her contacts inside the Los Angeles Police Department to get him prosecuted, TMZ reports.

Bei/Shutterstock

Danny, who's an active Scientologist, has been charged with raping three women —all identified as Jane Doe — between 2001 and 2003. He denies all the accusations. Leah is an ex-Scientologist and has been at odds with the church and its members, such as Danny, for years.

Last month, Danny and his team alleged that Leah was deeply involved in the case and claimed that she urged three women to make sexual assault accusations against him. Now, he claims that an LAPD detective — who moonlights as her bodyguard — has been making calls about the case on Leah's behalf.

Eric Charbonneau/Shutterstock

The detective, Danny alleges in court records, "had a history of trying to influence LAPD investigations" at Leah's direction. He points to an alleged call the detective made to Austin police about one of the accusers. "[The L.A. detective] has no professional investigative interest in this report, as he does not investigate sexual assault cases. It is later revealed he is Leah Remini's close friend,'" an Austin detective supposedly wrote in a police report.

MediaPunch/REX/Shutterstock

Danny further believes that prosecutors are actively encouraging Leah to be involved and stay in contact with them. In fact, he contends that Leah threatened the prosecution with a negative public relations campaign if they didn't push forward with Dannys's case.

Leah's involvement, the actor says, almost got her in the room where police were interviewing the accusers.

Danny's team previously argued that it's difficult to prepare a proper defense under the current timeline because of the alleged bias and affection toward Leah.

If convicted on all charges, the actor faces 45 years to life behind bars.

Ariana Grande quietly married fiance over the weekend: Report

Ariana Grande quietly tied the knot over the weekend, according to a new report.

The singer and Dalton Gomez exchanged "I dos" at her mansion in Montecito, Calif., in front of about 20 people, according to TMZ.

@arianagrande/Instagram

The report, published on May 17, says the wedding was rather informal and there was no real "ceremony."

"The whole thing was very intimate and filled with a lot of love," the report states.

It's not known if the secret and private wedding has been in the works for some time, or if it was more spur-of-the-moment. The home where the wedding took place was formerly owned by Ellen DeGeneres. Ariana purchased it in June for $6.75 million.

Ariana and Dalton, a real estate agent, have been dating for over a year and got engaged around Christmas time.

Back in April, she posted a series of images with Dalton to Instagram.

Paris Hilton's fiancé doesn't want a TV wedding (but it's happening)

You can't always get what you want.

Last week, Paris Hilton announced that she will star in a new docuseries on Peacock about her wedding. Paris' fiance, Carter Reum, however, would rather stay behind the camera.

During a chat with Extra, the heiress was asked if her beau was on board with the idea for the 13-episode show.

"No, I'm still trying to convince him," she said. "He doesn't like the camera. He doesn't do red carpets, doesn't do interviews. He's so focused on his business, and I love that about him. And you don't know if they want him for you or attention and it's not like that with him at all, so it's different from any relationship, and I like that he shies away from that."

Despite Carter's reservations, the show is a go (and will likely focus far more on Paris than him). The "Simple Life" alum says viewers will get a sneak peak into all aspects of the wedding: the planning, the bachelorette party and, of course, the ceremony.

"There's going to be a lot of beautiful moments," Paris said of the show currently titled "Paris In Love."

Paris' mother, Kathy Hilton, is helping plan the wedding, which is slated for 2021.

"I'm just over the moon. I feel like I finally found my fairy-tale happy ending with my Prince Charming," Paris said. "He is just so incredible, I can't wait for this next phase of my life."

Ricky Schroder apologizes amid backlash for berating Costco employee

Ricky Schroder is being ripped online for posting an Instagram video showing him berating a California Costco employee who refused to let the former child star enter the store without a face mask.

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

The employee, named Jason, maintained his cool and explained that that particular Costco in Los Angeles was abiding by the California state-wide mask mandate, which is still currently in place.

"You're going to listen to these people? They've destroyed our economy. They're destroying our state. And you're just going to listen to their rules?," Ricky shouts at the man and explains that he is getting a refund from the store, and he encouraged his followers to do the same.

The employee explains that the state-wide mask mandate is likely to end sometime in June.

"Boycott Costco till they act like a Free American Company…not [China]," Ricky captioned a video.

While Ricky was probably expecting to get applauded for his actions, the opposite occurred.

"Dude I get the frustration but this guy is literally doing his job… if he doesn't then he loses his job and way to feed his family," one person commented on the post. Another added, "Sorry, even being a strong conservative and anti-masker, the Costco dude is right. ONLY if the state and county do not have a mask mandate. He's only trying to do his job."

"I don't think employees should be harassed," a different commenter said.

A few hours after posting his video, Ricky posted a different video that covered an array of topics making him angry. In it, he addressed the Costco video.

"Jason, nothing personal. I'm not upset with you or anybody in the position like you have, who works for a living," he said. "I understand you were following your laws and rules. I was trying to make a point to the corporate overlords and I'm sorry that I had to use you to do it. And if I hurt your feelings, I apologize. I do think that independence for medical tyranny is more important than hurting people's feelings, so I'm sorry I hurt your feelings."

Macy's pulls Chrissy Teigen's cookware amid twitter scandal: Report

Chrissy Teigen's resurfaced tweets trolling Courtney Stodden has again affected her bottom line.

According to The Sun, Macy's has stopped carrying her Cravings by Chrissy Teigen cookware line.

Other stores and online retailers still carry the products.

In March, Courtney, who identifies as non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them, recalled how the model would send mean-spirited direct messages to them in 2011 and 2012. On May 12, Chrissy owned up to her past behavior and publicly apologized

"Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bulls*** in front of the entire world. I'm mortified and sad at who I used to be I was an insecure, attention seeking troll," she tweeted. "I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel."

She also told her fans, "And I am so sorry I let you guys down. I will forever work on being better than I was 10 years ago, 1 year ago, 6 months ago."

Courtney accepted the apology but also suspected Chrissy's motivation was linked to her partnership deals.

Kim Kardashian buys Janet Jackson's outfit from 'If' for $25k

Kim Kardashian's wardrobe has gotten a little nastier.

On May 16, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star took to her Instagram Story to wish Janet Jackson a happy 55th birthday. She then revealed that she won the outfit Janet wore in her 1993 music video "If" at an auction.

"Happy Birthday Queen!" Kim wrote on Instagram alongside a clip of the singer wearing the iconic outfit. "For @janetjackson's bday bc I'm such a fan I can't believe I won this on @juliens_auctions."

Just a few days prior to the social media message exchange, Juliens Auctions tweeted out an image of the outfit — a  crop top featuring white lacing and black flair pants — and a noted that it had ben purchased for $25,000.
