Liam Hemsworth officially filed to divorce Miley Cyrus in Los Angeles on Aug. 21. According to TMZ, the actor cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and listed their official date of separation as "TBD," indicating that the timeline of their breakup is still murky. According to the webloid's sources, the former star of "The Hunger Games" is "over the marriage" and wants to move on. According to an "Entertainment Tonight" source, "Liam's decision to file for divorce is sad, but in the end, it was never going to work. … They are too different. Liam never wanted to share Miley with anyone. He loves her and he is far too traditional. He finally realized he just wants to start fresh. … Liam has come to terms that it was time to move on. … Liam's family has been incredibly supportive. They are relieved it's over." The "ET" source continued, "At first, Liam wanted to just give it time but he finally felt like things were getting nasty and he didn't want to drag it out publicly. … He decided it was all too much." As for Miley? "ET" says that despite what other media outlets have reported, she didn't try to reconcile with Liam. TMZ, for example, wrote that she "made overtures as recently as this week, saying she wanted to work on the marriage, but Liam was steadfast that it was over." (TMZ adds that Liam's friends and family told him he would be "insane" to jump back into a relationship with his former love.) A People magazine source, meanwhile, said that Miley "didn't expect" Liam to file and is "a bit disappointed" but "still doing well." Added the People source, who noted that the former child star has "obviously moved on" as well, "What she and Liam had for a long time was very special. … It's just hard for her to think that she will never have this again with Liam. There are really so many things that she loves about him." Just a few days earlier, E! News reported that there was still a chance Miley and Liam could reconcile: "Miley has not been talking to an attorney or thinking about divorce," said a source. "She wanted the marriage to work and is still willing to give it time. But going through this in the public eye has made things a lot messier and a lot more difficult. …They were just taking a break, but now it is much more of a serious split. … They were in a rough spot and their lifestyles were not aligning. But he had hope they would find a way to reconnect and hadn't given up. This whole thing has taken things to a new level and really upset him. He was blindsided and extremely hurt by the allegations against him in the press [about his hard-partying causing the split]. He had no idea any of this was coming."

During a lengthy Aug. 22 Twitter rant, Miley Cyrus cleared up some of the rumors about why she and Liam Hemsworth called it quits. After acknowledging that it's "no secret that I was into partying in my teens and early 20's" and that she "[messed] up and cheated in relationships when I was young," she wrote, "The truth is, once Liam & I reconciled, I meant it, & I was committed. There are NO secrets to uncover here. I've learned from every experience in my life. I'm not perfect, I don't want to be, it's boring. I've grown up in front of you, but the bottom line is, I HAVE GROWN UP. … I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I've said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will. … BUT at this point I had to make a healthy decision for myself to leave a previous life behind. I am the healthiest and happiest I have been in a long time. You can say I am a twerking, pot smoking, foul mouthed hillbilly but I am not a liar. … I am proud to say, I am simply in a different place from where i was when I was a younger." Liam, it seems, is also in a different place: He's since been spending time in Australia with his family, as well as a special lady friend…

On Aug. 19, Woman's Day reported that Liam Hemsworth has been leaning on longtime pal Isabel Lucas in the wake of his breakup from Miley Cyrus. "They've become quite good friends. She's there to take his mind off things and she's been an excellent person to turn to for advice. She's in Europe at the moment and feels bad she's jetted out during the worst of it for Liam, but even so, she's been keeping in touch via text," said an insider. The Australian tabloid reports that according to its sources, Liam's friends and family are hopeful that his friendship with the "Immortals" actress could grow into something more … even though she previously romanced his big brother, Chris Hemsworth (pictured). "Liam is absolutely the marrying type, it's just a shame he fell in love with Miley, who definitely wasn't," said a source. "Liam's parents would love to see him settle down with someone who's more on the same page as him — an Aussie who loves the ocean, is a bit more mature and socially aware. Isabel ticks a lot of those boxes." How would Chris feel about his brother dating his ex? "[He] would be thrilled if Liam dated someone as lovely as Isabel," said the insider.
Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter are heating up! Since they were seen packing on the PDA in Italy on Aug. 9, the pair have been spotted driving together in Los Angeles on Aug. 14 and making out at Soho House in West Hollywood on Aug. 16 before lunching with Miley's mom, Tish Cyrus, at the same venue the following afternoon. A witness told Page Six that the two women seemed "obsessed with each other" and "couldn't keep their hands off each other" during their nighttime hangout at the exclusive hotspot. "They were kissing and making out everywhere. In the bathroom, at the bar, in the middle of the floor. They were basically having sex. There's no question they're together. … They were making out all over the place and didn't care who saw," added the spy. On Aug. 15, "Entertainment Tonight" reported that, according to a source, Miley and Kaitlynn "are both newly out of their relationships and just having fun." Added the source, "Really, only time will tell if Miley and Kaitlynn will last, but right now they are being a support for one another during a tough time and enjoying their time together." On Aug. 21, Miley and Kaitlynn sent Brody Jenner a joint birthday present and card, which he showed off on his Instagram Story.
As for the other half of the love quadrangle between Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter… On Aug. 16, Brody took to Instagram to defend his former partner against critics of her new relationship, writing, "There is far too much negativity being directed at someone who I love and care about very much. I feel the need to set the story straight. Kaitlynn and I have been best friends for 6 years, and we continue to be. We, like many others before us and many after us, grew in different directions over those same 6 years. Kaitlynn is a wonderful person, beautiful and fun to be with, always a positive force in my life. We decided the best move for both of us was to keep our love for each other strong but move forward separately with our lives. I respect Kaitlynn and care deeply about her. She deserves to be able to move forward in her life with respect and happiness." A day earlier, during a live taping of Whitney Port's "With Whit" podcast, Kaitlynn admitted that she only signed on to make "The Hills: New Beginnings" because she and Brody thought they'd be able to "spend more time together." But "everybody in the cast kind of knew that it was not gonna work out," the duo's "The Hills: New Beginnings" co-star Ashley Wahler told "Access Hollywood" during an interview with that hit the Internet on Aug. 15. Her hubby, Jason Wahler, then described Brody and Kaitlynn's relationship as "rocky." Ashley also said that Kaitlynn told her about how she, Brody, Miley and Liam "would always hang out together," making it clear to Ashley that "they've been friends for a really long time."
Jamie Foxx sparked rumors that he and Katie Holmes had called it quits when he was seen leaving a West Hollywood nightclub hand-in-hand with model-singer Sela Vave — who's been posting on Instagram about their hangouts since late June — and driving away in the same car in the wee hours of Aug 17. The headline-making outing came two days after Jamie was also seen hitting up multiple nightclubs with a mystery blonde, according to Us Weekly. According to a People magazine source, Sela is "just a girl he's helping out, a young singer." Jamie said as much on Instagram Live on Aug. 21, explaining that he and his team took Sela "under our wing" because she's such a talented singer. "I'm escorting her to my car, to put her in the car — my artist, who hangs out with my kids, who's as young as my daughter [25-year-old Corinne Foxx]," he explained of their much-photographed outing. "I'm not no old [guy] out here with no young folks. You understand what I'm saying?" He went on to passionately defend the singer against her critics, adding that he would never "cross the lines like that personally" by dating one of his artists. (Sela shared her mentor's Instagram Live videos, adding the caption, "For the people who care… here is the TRUE story(swipe)… for everyone else you can keep talking and calling me a … home wrecker, thot, gold digger, that I should die, and what ever else you want. Because it doesn't matter to me, I'm out here to work and do what I love most. #music #killthedoublestandard.") Just because Jamie and Sela aren't an item doesn't mean all is well between him and Katie, though…
Multiple media outlets reported on Aug. 19 that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes called it quits. According to Page Six, Katie was overheard telling a few female friends over dinner recently, "What Jamie does is his business — we haven't been together for months." The New York Post's gossip column adds that according to their sources, the pair split in late May after experiencing "serious relationship struggles" that culminated in a big fight over Memorial Day weekend. "Katie was supposed to go to Montauk to join Jamie, but he did something [crappy] at the last minute, and that was that. He canceled on his own and never got on the plane," said one source, while another insider maintained that it was the actress who "called two hours before he was supposed to get on a plane from L.A. to NYC and canceled" their holiday plans. "He was really upset," adds the second source. Us Weekly reported that the "Dawson's Creek" alum is the one who pulled the plug on the relationship. "It has been many years of him stepping out with other women," said a source. "He's disrespectful and their lives were different. His partying ways don't fit with hers as she's focused on raising her daughter and working." A People magazine source, meanwhile, said the relationship simply "ran its course." Said the insider, "This industry is very tough on relationships. … Jamie thinks Katie is an incredible human being. They had a very, very deep connection. They brought each other a lot of joy and laughter."
There's a new woman in Kristen Stewart's life: The actress was seen making out with writer-actress Dylan Meyer in New York City on Aug. 15. Just two months ago, there were reports that the former "Twilight" star had reconciled with former love Stella Maxwell.
According to The Blast, Larry King filed to divorce wife No. 7, Shawn Southwick King, in Los Angeles on Aug. 20. He listed June 6 as the date of separation and "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The duo — who tied the knot in the TV host's hospital room as he prepared to undergo heart surgery back in 1997 — came close to calling it quits once before: They both filed for divorce in 2010. Over the years, both Larry and Shawn have faced accusations of infidelity, which they've denied. TMZ, meanwhile, reported that according to its sources, the pair have been struggling for years, with Larry's accusations that his missus had been unfaithful contributing to the tension in their marriage. Things took a nasty turn when he was hospitalized in April. Shawn reportedly asked Larry to sign legal docs that would hand over certain properties to her rather than to their two adult sons, who felt they were being edged out of their inheritance. According to the webloid, the boys confronted their dad over the matter and begged him to end the marriage. TMZ describes Shawn as being "blindsided" and "devastated" by the divorce filing — she reportedly didn't know that Larry had filed until TMZ contacted her for comment. The webloid adds that according to sources close to Shawn, she only gave Larry the legal paperwork when he was sick because his doctors said that he might only have days to live, and their estate planning lawyer told them they needed to update their legal documents, which they mutually agreed to do. According to TMZ, Shawn "strongly denies doing anything that would compromise" her sons' inheritance.
Multiple media outlets reported on Aug. 16 that Kristen Wiig and her love of three years, Avi Rothman, have been quietly engaged for months.
Gigi Hadid and Tyler Cameron took their first vacation together: The duo were seen in upstate New York on Aug. 15. Five days later, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the model is "really into" the reality star — and her friends are all about it! "Everyone around Gigi is very supportive of her moving on [from Zayn Malik]," said the source. "It was not a good move for Gigi and Zayn to be around each other. It wasn't a healthy situation for her. She's doing a lot better." The singer, meanwhile, is reportedly selling the $10M penthouse apartment he bought in New York City to be closer to the model before they called it quits in late 2018. "He has been sad about their breakup and was very sad after their breakup," said the Us Weekly source. As for Tyler's ex…
During an Aug. 19 interview with "Extra," Hannah Brown revealed that she hasn't spoken to Tyler Cameron since he spent the night at her house on Aug. 1. "I think he's been so busy," she said. "I wish him well. And I know that he does the same for me."
"Grey's Anatomy" actress Camilla Luddington and "Castle Rock" actor Matthew Alan tied the knot in front of 70 guests (including actress Jessica Capshaw) on the California coast on Aug. 17. According to People magazine, which published exclusive photos from the nuptials, the bride donned a Mira Zwillinger gown and walked down the aisle to the Temper Trap song "Sweet Disposition."
On Aug. 19, Sam Claflin and his wife of six years, Laura Haddock, took to their respective Instagram Stories to announce that they're calling it quits. "Laura and I have decided to legally separate. We will move forward with nothing but love, friendship and a deep respect for one another whilst we continue to raise our family together," wrote the English actor. "We won't be commenting on this further. Thank you in advance for your support and respecting our privacy at this time. Both of us x." The "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" actress shared a nearly identical statement.
The Blast reported on Aug. 20 that Gina Kirschenheiter scored nearly $10K per month in support ($4.5K in child support and $5.1K in spousal support) as part of her extremely nasty divorce from husband Matthew Kirschenheiter. (He was arrested for domestic violence in June 2019, leading her to file for a restraining order against him, and they both accused each other of having drug and alcohol problems.) Though they'll share legal custody of their three children, the star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" will get primary physical custody, with her ex getting some weekends with the kids. According to The Blast, Gina is walking away from the marriage with her jewelry, clothes and a Chrysler Town & Country, while Matt will hold onto his personal belongings, plus a 2015 Lexus. The former couple also agreed to take one co-parenting class together per month, to refrain from badmouthing one another on the show or in front of their kids and to avoid introducing the children to any new significant others unless the relationship is serious or the other parent has consented to the introduction. They're still hashing out the details concerning Gina's restraining order against him. Meanwhile, on the Aug. 20 episode of "RHOC," Gina accused Matt, who's never appeared on the Bravo series, of having an affair. She claims he started stepping out on her around the time they moved from New York City or Orange County. "We tried to work through it the best we could. We were in therapy and it opened our eyes to other problems in the relationship," she said. That's when the pair decided to call it quits. It wasn't until months later that Gina discovered the affair was still ongoing when she found a Valentine's Day card from the other woman in Matt's car. "I found out that he was still seeing this woman and has been for the past six months. And he didn't tell me. … It hurts," she said, explaining that the revelation "changes things" because she can no longer have "a deeper relationship" with her ex. "Finding the card felt like the day that I found out about the affair in the first place and it brought me immediately back to that moment," she continued in a confessional. "So I got really scared because I didn't want to go back to that bad place that I was in when it all first happened because I can't go back there." She also said that Matt and his girlfriend "think they're in love" and that she hates the other woman "so much." Gina said on the episode that she wasn't sure if Matt and the other woman were still an item at that point in time: "I couldn't tell you," she said. "I don't even want to speak to what happened there because I don't know. I will never know. And it just doesn't serve me well to even think about it. It's already taken so much from me — I can't give it any more." Before Matt was arrested for domestic violence in June, it seemed as though he and Gina had reconciled. "Like you said, 'I'm your person and you're mine,'" she captioned a slideshow of photos of them together to wish him a happy birthday on Instagram on June 11. According to an Us Weekly source, Gina is now "dating around" and "getting her confidence back."
TMZ reported on Aug. 21 that a judge has finally signed off on John Schneider's divorce from second wife Elvira "Elly" Schneider, who filed to end their marriage back in December 2014. According to the webloid, a judge determined that the actor sold a Louisiana property he shared with Elly without splitting the profits with her and also drained one of their IRA accounts. So the judge handed down a harsh penalty: The former "The Dukes of Hazzard" star, who was previously unable or unwilling to pay temporary spousal support to his estranged missus, was ordered to hand over a $600K property in California, an IRA account worth $60K, a portion of his Screen Actors Guild pension and $25K a month in spousal support to his ex, plus an additional $279K to cover her legal fees. He's now free to legally marry Alicia Allain, with whom he had a spiritual wedding ceremony in July 2019.
On Aug. 16, Michael Sheen took to Twitter to shoot down reports that he was still in a relationship with Aisling Bea when he started seeing current girlfriend Anna Lundberg, with whom he's currently expecting a baby: "Wouldn't normally respond to this kind of thing but for the sake of people I love and who have more important things to focus on right now — I was single from the beginning of last summer until I met my partner Anna who is now going to have our baby. Just for the record. Thanks."
Brandon Thomas Lee is dating "Big Little Lies" star Kathryn Newton, Us Weekly reported on Aug. 16, two days after the duo were seen dining with the reality star's mother, Pamela Anderson, and brother, Dylan Jagger Lee, in Santa Monica. "Brandon and Kathryn were so cute together," said a spy. "Kathryn and Brandon sat next to each other. Kathryn looked very poised, as if it was the first time she was meeting Pam." The duo were previously photographed together at an amfAR dinner in Paris in July 2018.
Kelly Dodd took to her Instagram Story on Aug. 15 to announce that she and her off-and-on boyfriend, plastic surgeon Dr. Brian Reagan, are off again. "The universe is telling me I broke up with Dr. Brian. Woo! And they all know why," she said during an outing with some girlfriends. "This is why I'm breaking up with Brian for good. This is the last time," she added. "No going back to this a——. At all." Later, while singing Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust," she said, "Here's our song. I broke up with Dr. Brian. Another one bites the dust!" The reality star also hinted that there's a new man in her life: "You know what Rick, you're a good guy!" she said in one clip. Later, the star of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" doubled down, confirming the breakup and clarifying that the Rick in her life is Fox News journalist Rick Leventhal. "@drbreagan_plastic_surgeon posted that we broke up .. I'm deeply saddened and I only wish him the best!! 😉 Good Luck .. you are a talented surgeon!! I loved you deeply ❤️. See @rickleventhal we broke up," she captioned a photo of herself and the plastic surgeon.

"How on earth did I pull this off," Erin later captioned a photo of herself looking shocked following the proposal.
TMZ reported on Aug. 19 that Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber, who legally married in a New York City courthouse in September 2018, plan to have their big wedding for friends and family in September 2019. A few days later on Aug. 22 after seeing the latest round of save-the-dates that had just gone out, TMZ revealed that the couple — who'd postponed their second nuptials several times — had finally decided on when and where they wanted to re-wed: Sept. 30 in South Carolina. TMZ writes that "Justin is in a great space both personally and creatively and couldn't be happier" and that "friends say he and Hailey are a perfect fit." Earlier in the week, the pop star took to Instagram to gush about his missus: "I fall more in love with you every single day. You are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I would be lost without you. #wifeyappreciationday," he captioned a slideshow of photos of the model.
Getting serious! Artem Chigvintsev called girlfriend Nikki Bella his "soulmate" on Instagram on Aug. 16. "You are my rock, my number one, the good ending to a bad day and the best start to a new day, you are my soul mate," he captioned a photo of them together at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. The following day, the retired wrestler took to her own Instagram to announce that Artem started shooting the upcoming fifth season of "Total Bellas" with her. But just because all's well with the duo doesn't mean Nikki isn't still struggling with her mid-2018 breakup from John Cena…
On the Aug. 21 episode of "The Bellas Podcast," Nikki Bella admitted that she still allows herself to cry over her painful split from John Cena. "You also have to let yourself cry," she said when a fan asked how she moved on from the breakup. "That's one thing my life coach helped me a lot with, because I still, you guys, get days when I cry about my breakup. … But we were together a long time, we had an amazing relationship and an amazing bond and a lot of love for each other." She went on to say that there are aspects of the breakup that she can't discuss because "John wants to keep things private, which is amazing." Added the reality star, "I respect him so much for that. … The one thing that I can tell you from my point of view and my emotions and my perspective … towards the end I started to become a miserable person. I was very, very unhappy." Continued Nikki, "For John and I, it was just … the timing was off. … I think what I realized is that I want someone … when I spend the rest of my life with someone in marriage, I wanna be with them every night. I want to spend holidays with them. I want to grow with them. I want to know that they really do wanna be a parent."
In a preview for the Aug. 22 episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation," JWoww opens up about her painful split from husband Roger Mathews, saying that "the ultimate betrayal is the fact that he went public" with their issues. "I thought silence was the greater good," she said. "As bad as our relationship got, I stayed … quiet, because that's what you're supposed to do." Added the mother of two during a confessional, "I didn't want to talk about it publicly, out of respect for my children. … So when those videos came out, I feel like it was a really, really low blow by Roger." She also clarified that she never tried to have her ex arrested: "People think that I had him arrested — not even the case," she said. "Because you wouldn't have your phone in the back of a cop car! They were being nice and giving him a ride." Echoed JWoww's BFF Snooki, "Everyone was attacking Jenni for keeping the kids away from Roger, when that's not even the truth. … Little does anybody know, Jenni let Roger stay in the house after she filed for divorce so he could still be with the kids. But he would start fights in front of the children. So finally, enough is enough, she called the cops and said, 'You've got to get out.' But she never said Roger can't see his kids." Concluded JWoww, "I just want this to calm down because I'm in the public eye, and I don't want this to get out of control. … At the end of the day, he's still the father of my kids. Gotta keep it together."
During an Aug. 13 interview with E! News, Kaley Cuoco revealed that she and her husband of more than a year, Karl Cook, still don't live together: "We're building our dream house and we're eventually going to be under the same roof forever," she said. "We have a very unconventional marriage, you know. We have different locations that we're at a lot. We're not together every single day. I think personally, it's important. It works well for us."
On the Aug 13 episode of her "With Whit" podcast, Whitney Port revealed that she once turned down the opportunity to hook up with Leonardo DiCaprio. The duo exchanged numbers after meeting at a nightclub around the time that she was starring on "The City" (between 2008 and 2010). They ended up texting on BlackBerry Messenger "for like six months" before meeting up again in Los Angeles. "He invited me out to [nightclub] Teddy's and he invited me back over to his house and I said no," she dished. "I was too nervous. … I had never had a one-night stand. I didn't want to be with him alone. … I was way too nervous to do it and then I lost my chance and it's really one of my bigger regrets in life. If you didn't think I was cool, now you probably do."
According to TMZ, "Suits" and "Lucifer" star Rachael Harris filed to divorce her husband of more than four years, Broadway violinist Christian Hebel, on Aug. 21.
Lily Collins made her rumored romance with Charlie McDowell Instagram official on Aug. 20. First, she took to her Instagram Story to share a photo of the writer-director checking out some art. "When he's only just left but it feels like forever. … I miss you already," she wrote across the pic, tagging Charlie's Instagram handle in the process. She then shared a photo of herself leaning against a mystery man whose face she cut out of the frame. "Always got your back," she wrote in the caption. Later, the duo confirmed in the comments that it was, in fact, Charlie in the snuggly snap.
On the Aug. 20 episode of "Bachelor in Paradise," Demi Burnett received a surprise visit from Kristian Haggerty — the woman she'd been dating back home before joining the show and striking up a romance with Derek Peth. After a PDA-packed reunion, the two women confessed their love for each other and commitment to one another, and Demi gently let down Derek. After the episode aired, the Bachelor Nation star took to Instagram to share a photo of herself and Kristian hugging, indicating that they're still going strong. "Thanks for coming to Paradise," she wrote in the caption.
In other Bachelor Nation news… "90 Day Fiancé" star Ashley Martson is dating former "The Bachelorette" contestant Christian Estrada, who competed for Becca Kufrin's heart on Season 14 of "The Bachelorette" in 2018 and recently appeared on Season 6 of "Bachelor in Paradise." Us Weekly confirmed that the duo, who flirted on social media earlier this month, are dating after they took to their respective Instagram Stories on Aug. 17 to share photos and videos of themselves hanging out at Disney World.
In still more Bachelor Nation news… Kevin Fortenberry has a new girlfriend, Hillary Webb, after failing to find love on Season 6 of "Bachelor in Paradise." The duo went Instagram official on Aug. 19 after he made his final appearance on the show. "You're my paradise, I love you," Hillary captioned a photo of herself and her beau at a concert. "And you are my world! I love you too angel!" Kevin wrote in the comments. He later told Us Weekly how he and Hillary connected: "We were following each other on social media for years and had only been about a town over, but we never got around to meeting one another," he said. "It was almost instantly after 'Paradise.' I was at Target at the checkout. She recognized me and struck up a conversation, and I kind of had that feeling of what I'd assume when the cat has your tongue or becoming speechless. Before I could let the opportunity slip, I asked to walk her to her car and then proceeded to get her number and planned a sushi dinner two days later. We started dating around late June."
In even more Bachelor Nation news… On the Aug. 12 episode of her "Chatty Broads" podcast, Bekah Martinez questioned whether or not Caelynn Miller-Keyes was ever really in love with Colton Underwood. In March, Caelynn said on the Season 23 "The Women Tell All" special that she was "shaking thinking about seeing" Colton because she "loved him, and he didn't love me, and it sucks." But earlier this month, she revealed that she and Blake Horstmann talked on FaceTime every day for "months" before they hooked up at the Stagecoach Festival in April. Said Bekah, "I'm not saying that Caelynn is a pathological liar or we shouldn't trust anything else Caelynn is saying. However, her performances on reality TV, all I'm going to say is it does not seem as though she's not putting her authentic self forward on reality TV." Bekah then questioned whether Caelynn could be so close to Colton's fiancée, Cassie Randolph, if she were really so heartbroken by their breakup: "She was probably over it the minute she got sent home. Maybe not the minute but shortly after." Added Bekah, "That is the shadiest [stuff]. … She knows how to plot and manipulate the truth to have people on your side. … The thing about Caelynn, this whole [thing] is a mess. I think we're still missing pieces of the puzzle. Some things still don't add up."
But, wait, there's more… In a multi-day Twitter rant during which he attacked multiple members of Bachelor Nation, "Bad" Chad Johnson — who competed for JoJo Fletcher's heart on Season 12 of "The Bachelorette" in 2016 — resurfaced his previous allegations that he and Caitlin Clemmens, who made her "Bachelor in Paradise" debut on Aug. 19, were an item and that she cheated on him. "[We] talked every day for over 2 months but according to her that's not long enough to mean anything, so I'm curious how we can expect her to find a relationship on a show filmed in less than half of that amount of time," he tweeted. "Caitlin Clemmens did a podcast several days after spending a few consecutive nights at my house. She insinuated that I was crazy, that we never talked, that we never met, and that she never intended to meet or date me. This plan backfired when I did the same podcast the next day," he wrote in a subsequent tweet. He also accused Bachelor Nation's Tia Booth of cheating on her boyfriend, Cory Cooper, with former "Big Brother" contestant Corey Brooks. "[Tia] apparently has a boyfriend but according to sources she constantly texts Corey Brooks wanting to sexually demolish him. Sources say it sucks to be her boyfriend and also that Corey Brooks can't bench press properly," Chad tweeted on Aug. 19. "Does your boyfriend know you've been trying to hookup with Corey Brooks the entire time you guys have been together? Or nah. Probably nah right." Tia and Corey were linked in September 2018, less than two months before she and Cory went Instagram official.
And finally… On the Aug. 14 episode of Nick Viall's "Viall Files" podcast, the former star of "The Bachelor" read an excerpt from Amanda Stanton's upcoming memoir detailing her messy relationship with her ex-fiancé, Josh Murray. "If he doesn't turn into your prince, stop kissing him. Josh's behavior was very frog-like," Nick read. "There were control issues, more than a few un-trues told. Plus, other red flags along the way. Not to mention Andi Dorfman wrote a book about his jealous, self-serving ways. And what did I do? I kept kissing him. Hoping he'd turn into a prince." The blonde beauty wrote that she "knew Josh was kind of controlling" when they shot Season 3 of "Bachelor in Paradise," but things got even worse when they returned to Los Angeles. "He would give me a hard time when I wanted to talk to my close friends," she wrote. "I would even have to wait for him to go to the gym so I could call my best friend Lauren Bushnell. Or even my mom! He didn't approve of my childhood friends or my neighbors." Amanda also alleged that Josh told her what she "could and couldn't wear." She knew she "finally had enough from this experience" when she "caught him peaking beneath the bathroom door to make sure I wasn't texting anyone." But that wasn't the last we heard of Josh Murray this week…
In mid-July, Lindsie Chrisley filed a police report accusing her father, Todd Chrisley, and half-brother, Chase Chrisley, of purchasing a sex tape involving her and using it to blackmail her into lying about "an incident" that's presumably connected to the family's tax evasion case. In response to Lindsie's claims, Todd released a statement to E! News denying the accusations and accusing his daughter of having affairs with two prominent members of Bachelor Nation: "It's heartbreaking and shameful that these kinds of accusations have to be aired in public. We have tried to keep Lindsie's extramarital relationships with Robby Hayes and Josh Murray private for her sake since August of 2016," the "Chrisley Knows Best" star said in the statement, which E! News published on Aug. 15. "Sadly, for reasons we can only guess at, she ran to the sheriff's office to accuse her brother of buying a sex tape of her and Robby, which was a complete lie, and now she's telling more lies about me." Josh quickly denied the affair allegations to E! — "Lindsie and I have been friends for years. I know Todd and his family are going through some tough times right now and I pray everything works out in their favor," he said. "They should probably focus on how not to be imprisoned for 30 years rather than spreading gossip to try and hurt their daughter. I truly believe they are good people and I wish them the best in however they choose to go about their actions." Robby spoke out about the affair accusations on the Aug. 21 episode of the "Housewives and Vanderpump" podcast, confirming that he and Lindsie are more than friends but insisting that they "did not make a sex tape." Said the reality star, "I'm not sitting there with a camera aimed down and trying to get the angles. Like, we got caught on the security camera, basically. It was a puppy camera in her friend's living room, the couch we crashed on." He went on to say that neither he nor Lindsie consented to being filmed, "which kind of debunks" the rumors that they made a "sex tape." Added Robby, "We're in the middle of dealing with it. … I was just talking with [Lindsie] this past weekend in Atlanta, two days ago."
"The Bye Bye Man" and "Tulip Fever" actress Cressida Bonas, who previously romanced Prince Harry, is now engaged to another Harry: Harry Wentworth-Stanley. The estate agent took to Instagram on Aug. 18 to announce that he'd popped the question. "We getting married," he captioned a selfie with the British beauty, who showed off her engagement ring, during a trip to Nantucket.
Ryan Seacrest and his ex-girlfriend, Shayna Taylor, sparked reconciliation rumors (again) when they were seen spending time together on a yacht off the coast of Italy on Aug. 17. (See photos here.) But according to a People magazine source, they're just friends. "They dated for a long time and still care immensely about each other as friends," said a source.
Is the engagement off? Reality TV blog The Ashley reported on Aug. 19 that Javi Marroquin and Lauren Comeau's future is uncertain after they got into a huge fight while hosting friends for a get-together at their home over the weekend. (The fight wasn't just between them, though: According to Radar Online, the father of two also called the police over a verbal altercation with his sister.) After the dustup, Lauren unfollowed Javi on Instagram and deleted photos of him from her page. "They fight constantly, but this one was really bad," said a source, cryptically adding that "something major went down." Javi seemed to give some credence to the breakup talk when he posted about "losing everything" on his Instagram Story on Aug. 19: "If you ever feel like you're losing everything, remember that trees lose their leaves every year and they still stand tall and wait for better days to come," he wrote.
During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on Aug. 21, Briana DeJesus revealed that she and her boyfriend of about a year, John Rodriguez, recently called it quits. "I realized I wasn't happy, had too much on my plate and needed to stay focused on all the things going on in my life including my kids, my new spa, filming 'Teen Mom 2,' my other job and my family," said the mother of two. "At the end of the day I truly feel bad about what went down with John and I, as he really is a great, sweet, amazing man." She went on to say that "there was absolutely no cheating in our relationship" and that the reports that he'd been unfaithful "were completely false." As for the fact that her breakup suspiciously coincides with the relationship drama between her ex, Javi Marroquin, and his fiancée, Lauren Comeau, "Me breaking up with John has nothing to do with the rumored problems Javi is having in his personal life," said Briana. "Javi is old news to me, and I'm not breaking up with John with the hopes of getting back with him. That's just ridiculous. … Even if Javi did want me back — which I'm certain he doesn't — it's a solid no from my point. … We will never, ever be back together." She did admit, however, that she should've taken more time before dating again following her breakup from Javi: "Looking back, I don't think I was ready for nor wanted another relationship. I never gave myself time to heal from prior relationships," she said. She attributed some of her problems with John to the distance between them. "It was hard," she said. "I have a lot going on in Florida and John is all the way in New York and that obviously would have a strain on any relationship."
And another "Teen Mom" couple bites the dust… Mackenzie McKee took to Twitter on Aug. 16 to announce that she and husband Josh McKee are calling it quits after six years of marriage. "I would like to say, that due to stress, me needing to stay focused, the media, etc. I am deciding my marriage needs a break. My heart breaks for my kids. But as of right now, this is what's best," she wrote, adding that she and her ex "were truly best friends" and "it's all just devastating." She wrote in a subsequent tweet, "I know in my heart he loves me. This was my decision." Later, the "Teen Mom OG" star dished on the breakup with Us Weekly: "Turns out, Josh is not a good man whatsoever," she said. Watching the show and catching him in lies, seeing how independent he is, I realize I deserve better. … I have fought for this marriage for many years, and lately, I've really opened my eyes to what a horrible person he is." On the Aug. 5 episode of her MTV reality show, the mother of two worried that her husband was cheating on her when she found out that he lied to her about going to a bar while he was out of town.
It was a wild week for DMX and longtime love Desiree Lindstrom, who reportedly got engaged four years ago. While celebrating their son Exodus's 3rd birthday over the weekend of Aug. 17, the rapper announced that earlier that day, they called it quits: "We were supposed to be getting married, but earlier today we broke up. That's why she had her [engagement] ring on her necklace. … So we're basically not together no more," X said during his son's birthday bash. He then got down on one knee, pulled out a new engagement ring and proposed again. "I was so caught off guard and surprised," Desiree, who said "yes," captioned a video of the proposal on Instagram.
Bryan Abasolo is one step closer to marry Rachel Lindsay: The chiropractor had his bachelor party in Miami on Aug. 17 and Aug. 18. He joked that he was "still recovering" while thanking his pals (including Bachelor Nation's Josiah Graham and Kenny King) for "planning a stacked lineup of events," calling it "an epic sendoff and one I will remember forever" in a slideshow of photos on Instagram. Meanwhile, on Aug. 19, Rachel — who had her bachelorette party in Costa Rica in late July, took to her Instagram Story to share a Boomerang video of herself dancing in her car with their marriage license after she picked it up from a courthouse.
In other pre-marital-party news… Holly Marie Combs is one step closer to marrying her fiancé, Mike: The former "Charmed" star had her bachelorette party with pals including "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" alum Charisma Carpenter on Aug. 18. The bride-to-be, who's been married twice before, captioned a slideshow of photos on Instagram, "Long and Happy Life. #incoming #3rdTimeIsTheCharm."
YouTube star Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg married longtime girlfriend Marzia Bisognin, he announced on Twitter on Aug. 20. "We are married!!! I'm the happiest I can be ❤️ I'm so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman," he captioned several photos from the nuptials, which went down at London's Kew Gardens.
On the Aug. 15 episode of the "KFC Radio" podcast, Brian Austin Green revealed that he initially rejected now-wife Megan Fox when they first met on the set of a 2004 episode of "Hope and Faith" because she was "really young" at the time. (She would've been around 18, while he was about 30.) "I was like, 'This isn't this. This can't … happen. This isn't going to happen. No way.' And so I left, and she was just really persistent — and thank God," he said, adding that when they met, he "had just gotten out of a relationship," wasn't looking for a new relationship and planned to "play the field for a little while." Brian went on to say that he "kept pushing her away early on" — until Megan threatened to start seeing other men. "That's when I realized … I must be really into this situation. … The thought of that kills me." He concluded by saying that the early days of their relationship were "really easy and fun" because Megan hadn't reached an intense level of fame yet, which granted them some anonymity. A few days later, during an Aug. 21 interview with "AM to DM by BuzzFeed News," Brian confirmed Tichina Arnold's late 2018 claim that they dated early in their careers: "We weren't super-public about it, but, yeah, we dated for a little while," he said. "That's my girl. I love Tichina. … I'm glad she remembered that and didn't shy away from it, as some would."
Taylor Swift is quite the dedicated "Lover." Page Six reported on Aug. 19 that, according to a source, the pop star is looking to drop up to $30M on "a grand home in London with two kitchens" so that she and her boyfriend of three years, Joe Alwyn, "can live in privacy and entertain properly." Said the source, "They've been splitting their time between [his native] London and [her home in] Nashville — and she keeps sending her jet for him so they can be together. … This is just another sign of how close they are. She's the happiest she's ever been."
In an essay about her current New York City apartment for Domino magazine that hit the Internet on Aug. 20, Lena Dunham dished on the apartment she and Jack Antonoff once shared. She also opened up about their breakup (again). The actress wrote that even though she "wanted to live in another creaky decrepit-glam enclave" like her very first apartment, she and the Bleachers frontman ended up buying a brand new apartment that "hadn't even been built yet" because "my man was afraid of dust." She decorated the apartment while Jack was away on tour, but "he hated it," she wrote. "He didn't want to hate it. He tried not to hate it. But he didn't like living among the insides of my mind. I thought I was giving him a gift," she continued, adding that "he wanted a Restoration Hardware couch and a giant watch to hang on the wall," while she "felt sick every time I made a design concession or covered up pink with dove gray." Concluded the "Girls" creator, "Love can only survive so much. … The last time I saw that apartment was when we agreed, with love, that someone had to go. 'You can finally eat in the bed without anyone getting mad at you,' he said through tears."
During an interview with Haute Living that hit the Internet on Aug. 16, French Montana opened up about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Khloe Kardashian. "Me and Khloe are always going to be friends, and the family still remains close," he said. "I feel like we had a real dope relationship — there was no bad blood, nobody did something to somebody that we couldn't come back from. The love was real. When the love was like that, it's always going to be like that. Friendship after a relationship is something that's real hard to do, and I'm glad we've been able to do it."
Meanwhile, Us Weekly reported on Aug 20 that, according to a source, Khloe Kardashian is still "focusing on herself" and "not rushing to date anyone" following her breakup from Tristan Thompson earlier this year. The source added that the nature of the split — the basketball star reportedly cheated with Kylie Jenner's former BFF Jordyn Woods — "really hurt her." Concluded the insider, "It's been difficult for her to completely get past it."
During an Aug. 18 interview with "Entertainment Tonight," Katharine McPhee Foster opened up about married life. David Foster's new missus hasn't gotten used to her new last name yet, she said: "We've been away since we've been married, so not [yet], but I love it. … I just love the ring of it, so I'm enjoying it," she said, adding that she changed her name because she's "a romantic." Said the singer-actress, "I've always liked the idea that it's still a traditional thing that exists in our society. … I like the idea. I think it's romantic and it's a great last name." She also shared her favorite thing about married life: "We just love being with each other. There's no arguing, no drama. It's just easy," she said. "That's how it should be."
In other name-change news… Yet another sign that Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty are close to tying the knot? On Aug. 16, the rapper changed her name to Mrs. Petty on Twitter. She and her controversial beau obtained two marriage licenses earlier this summer.
During an interview with The Guardian that hit the Internet on Aug. 18, Jada Pinkett Smith dished on the decision to openly discuss her marriage to Will Smith on her Facebook Watch series, "Red Table Talk." Said the actress, "I knew that I was not built for conventional marriage. … Even the word 'wife' — it's a golden cage, swallow the key. Even before I was married, I was like, 'That'll kill me.' And it damn near did! So why wouldn't you share what you've been through, when you see that other people are out there trying to figure this crap out? We decided to make it public because it's part of the healing. I feel like if we don't have real understanding about it, I don't know if interpersonal relationships are possible." Added the "Girls Trip" star of her A-list hubby, "Will is my life partner and I could not ask for a better one. I adore him. I never want people to think it was Will I didn't want to marry — he and I were talking about this the other day. But I can assure you that some of the most powerful women in the world feel caged and tied, because of the sacrifices they have to make to be in that position. So I wanted to talk about how we really feel about marriage. How do we really feel about different, unconventional relationships? How do we really feel about raising children? Honestly."
