Actress Nia Long just responded to being blindsided by her famous fiancé's shocking affair

While Nia Long and Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka have been together for well over a decade, they took another step forward in their relationship two weeks ago when she moved to Boston to be near him. Days later, though, she found out that her fiancé had been having an affair with a married front office staffer.

MediaPunch/Shutterstock

TMZ reported that Ime came clean about the affair to the "Friday" actress this week, but only did so because he knew news of his infidelity was about to be made public. The report said Ime knew back in July that the team busted him but he kept Nia in the dark for months, even as she was house-hunting in Boston.

In other words, Ime was fully aware that his affair had been discovered when Nia began thinking of relocating to Beantown.

On Thursday, Sept. 22, the Boston Celtics announced that Ime, who led the team to the NBA Finals last season, will be suspended for the upcoming 2022-2023 season for violating team rules.

Earlier in the week as news of the affair become known, Nia shared a cryptic video about embracing positivity, spirituality and finding light after darkness. The video was reposted from a healing and wellness page.

Allen Berezovsky/WireImage

On Friday, Sept. 23, the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star, who shares a 10-year-old son with Ime, released a statement via her publicist.

"The outpouring of love and support from family, friends and the community during this difficult time means so much to me. I ask that my privacy be respected as I process the recent events. Above all, I am a mother and will continue to focus on my children," she said.

Ime also released a statement. "I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and my family for letting them down. I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team's decision," he said. "Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment."

Joan Collins hated her changing body as teen, wanted to be a boy

Joan Collins, one of the most glamorous actresses of her generation, wasn't always comfortable in her own skin. In fact, she wanted to be a boy as a teenager.

Shutterstock

"I remember going through puberty at 14 and hating the way my body was changing," she told Saga Magazine. "I hated everything that was happening. So I rebelled and wore boys clothes. I wore corduroys and scraped my hair back. I even went to football matches with my father."

This loathing of her feminine curves went on for a year. Then 15 years old, Joan's mentality toward her gender began changing after boys "discovered" her while on vacation in France.

Joan, who famously played Alexis Carrington in "Dynasty," no longer struggles with her gender identity, nor does she have an issue with her age. The Golden Globe-winning actress is 89 years old, but she feels like she's 40.

Although the "Empire of the Ants" star doesn't cringe at her age, she thinks is "tremendously rude" to ask a woman how old she is.

"My mother's generation never did it. But you know, people have been calling me an older woman since I was 38," Joan said. "I think what is important is not age, but how you look, feel and behave."

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

In managing to stay youthful, Joan notes that she only tans her body and legs. In addition, she eats well, exercises regularly and avoids common vices like smoking, drugs or drinking to excess. Really, she said, her secret is "having great parents who gave me good genes."

Ice-T's wife Coco bathes their daughter, 6, in kitchen sink, gets mom-shamed

Ice-T's wife, Coco Austin, is hearing it again.

On Thursday, Sept. 22, the "Ice Loves Coco" alum got a mixed reaction from her Instagram followers after sharing an image of her 6-year-old daughter, Chanel, bathing in a kitchen sink.

"The sink is easiest when you have to be fast," Coco captioned an Instagram video of the tyke using her iPad in the makeshift bathtub.

The former Playboy model went on to show herself getting ready for the evening and curling her pink hair, claiming she only had an hour to get ready. In further footage, Chanel picked out her own outfit before the mother-daughter duo headed off to a fashion show.

Fans, though, seemed to pay little attention to the fashion portion of the video, focusing almost entirely on Chanel's bathing situation.

"Yall [sic] still treating her like an Infant," one Instagram user wrote. Another said, "She's to [sic] old to be in the sink..that was really Awkward to see." A third added, "Not the sink."

Instagram

Funny enough, amidst the mom-shaming, there were also comments about the sink itself.

"Girl how deep is your sink I need this in my life," one person said. Another noted the sink and commented, "I think I need a kitchen upgrade."

A few even complimented Coco, saying the sink bath saves a lot of water. There's also another benefit to kitchen counter bathing.

"The kitchen sink saves you from back pain," one follower said, which was echoed by others.

Coco has been judged by the social media world for her parenting several times before, but she always brushes off the criticism. Last year, the online parent police ripped her after revealing that she still breastfed Chanel. Many of those same "experts" slammed Coco again this past May after she posted vacation photos of Chanel in a stroller

What ever happened to Adam Levine and Blake Shelton's bromance?

As judges on "The Voice," Adam Levine and Blake Shelton seemed inseparable and their budding bromance was highlighted in magazines, TV shows and everywhere else. According to a source, though, the men weren't necessarily as close as it appeared.

Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

"It wasn't all an act, but the relationship was exaggerated for TV. When Adam left the show the two of them didn't have to pretend anymore," our insider told RadarOnline.com.

Fans first suspected their might be cracks in the relationship when Adam wasn't invited to Blake and Gwen Stefani's intimate 2021 wedding in Oklahoma. Prior to the wedding, Adam joked that he planned to cause a scene at the nuptials

"They haven't spoken in a while. There was no big dramatic falling out, but they both just moved on. It happens all the time with work relationships," a second source said.

The report comes after social media model Sumner Stroh alleged that she and the Maroon 5 singer had a year-long affair. Sumner backed her claim by sharing several risqué messages that she and Adam exchanged. Afterward, multiple other women have come forward claiming they, too, were sent flirty messages from the singer, who has been married to Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo since 2014. The pair is expecting a third child together.

"As we are all finding out, Adam isn't the guy he pretends to be," a third source told Radar. "He has secrets and was difficult backstage at The Voice. When he left the show there wasn't a single person, including Blake, who missed Adam and his drama."

Jim Smeal/Shutterstock

For Adam, the week has been filled with drama due to the cheating allegations. While Sumner said that two had a "physical" relationship, Adam released a statement disputing her claims that he had an affair.

"A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family," he said. "My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together."

Tristan Thompson leaves party with viral model hours after son is revealed

If nothing else, he's consistent!

Just hours after Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson's son made his TV debut, the NBA player was spotted leaving a Los Angeles nightclub with OnlyFans model Juanita JCV. The two were both in attendance at Jack Harlow's concert afterparty.

Brian To/Shutterstock

Paparazzi photos published by Page Six show that Tristan and the 24-year-old social media star didn't arrive together at The Nice Guy, but they did leave together in the back of his Maybach SUV.

The sighting comes just months after Tristan, 31, was seen holding hands with a mystery woman in Greece.

Although Tristan and Khloe are both single, the two are co-parenting 4-year-old daughter True and their son, whose name has not been publicly revealed (she has said the name begins with a "T").

On Wednesday's episode of "The Kardashians," Khloe detailed that she was made aware of Tristan's most recent infidelity — with fitness model Maralee Nichols — just days after they completed an embryo transfer. Maralee welcomed a son last December and a paternity test proved that Tristan is the father.

"It's just so close I wouldn't want anything to think I did this after that fact," Khloe said. "Why would I want to have a baby with someone who's have a baby with somebody else? I'm not that much of a sociopath."

Shutterstock

Although Tristan was not present when his latest child was born, the reality TV star did invite him to the hospital to meet their little one.

"Tristan wants to be here, so I figured, why not," she said in a confessional. "Let him come. He'll never get this moment back."

Tiffany Haddish now jobless despite dismissed molestation lawsuit

Although the molestation lawsuit lobbed at Tiffany Haddish has been dismissed, the damage has been done: she can't get a job.

"I lost everything," she told a TMZ cameraman, "all my gigs gone, everything gone."

Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock

Earlier this month, the actress and fellow comedian Aries Spears were accused of sexually abusing children for a 2018 comedy sketch. Tiffany quickly said she regretted the sketch. She and Arie no longer speak.

"Clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn't funny at all – and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it," she said earlier this month.

On Sept. 20, the accuser, who went by Jane Doe, dismissed the claims in court. It cannot be tried again.

"My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us," the accuser said in a statement Tuesday. "We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us."

Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock

Although she's "relived" the lawsuit is over, she maintained that she was most concerned about the children involved in the sketch. She also insists that if someone comes after her in the future with allegation, they're "fake."

Asked if she thinks he can reclaim her previously-flourishing career, Tiffany said, "I don't know. I don't have no job."

Emily Ratajkowski rips Sara Foster for criticizing Adam Levine's alleged mistress

Emily Ratajkowski is unloading on actress Sara Foster for piling blame on the woman at the center of the Adam Levine cheating scandal.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

Earlier this week, social media model Sumner Stroh alleged that she and the Maroon 5 singer had a year-long affair, and she shared several risqué messages that the two exchanged. Afterward, other women came forward claiming Adam, 43, sent them flirty messages.

Despite all this, Sara felt there was enough blame to go around.

"He's obviously like a total pig and gross but this woman who chose to make a viral TikTok video claiming – by the way, not even apologizing – but putting it out there for the world to see, for a pregnant woman to see when she could have just messaged her privately, she claiming like it's not her fault or something," Sara said, referring to the fact that Adam's wife, Behati Prinsloo, is pregnant with their third child

Broadimage/Shutterstock

"It's like, we don't feel sorry for you. You knew this man was married, OK, and you participated. You could have easily ignored the messages. You knew he was married. We do not feel sorry for you," Sara, the daughter of David Foster, said in a TikTok video. "Men are gross, we know that – they're always gonna be dogs. But, like, as women, we need to do better and not get wrapped up in this bull****… If a man is married, as a woman, it's gotta be a no-go for you."

Upon seeing this, Emily, 31, backed Sumner, 23, and took swipes at Sara for blaming the "other woman."

"I'm going to try not to go the f*** off right now," Emily said in response to Sara's video. "I just couldn't disagree more. I don't understand why we continue to blame women for men's mistakes, especially when you're talking about twentysomething-year-old women dealing with men in positions of power who are twice their age."

Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock

Emily recently split from the father of her child amid cheating accusations

The model dubbed Adam's behavior was "predatory" and "manipulative."

"The power dynamic is so skewed, it's ridiculous," she said. "Also, if you're the one in the relationship, you're the one who's obligated to be loyal. So, the whole other woman, they're to blame, that's bad. And it's literally designed to keep women apart."

She later added, "I think a huge problem in our culture right now is that we just say, 'Oh, men are monsters, they're terrible, they're horrible.' We don't hold them accountable and then we blame other women, we ask women to adjust their behavior instead of just saying men need to change their behavior. It's sexism, it's classic misogyny. Period."

After Sumner's claims that she and Adam had a "physical" relationship, Adam released a statement claiming he didn't have an "affair" but did admit to crossing "the line."

"A lot is being said about me right now and I want to clear the air. I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period in my life. 'Serial' podcast host reacts to Adnan Syed's prison release

For this first time in more than two decades, Adnan Syed, whose case was meticulously covered by the hugely-popular "Serial" podcast, was pictured at home and outside the prison walls.

JIM LO SCALZO/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

On Tuesday, Sept. 20, attorney and family friend Rabia Chaudry shared a photo of the 41-year-old at home smiling (and free) while surrounded by family, friends and supporters.

"I arise full of joy," Rabia captioned the image. She added the hashtag, "We Freed Adnan."

Another of Adnan's attorneys also shared a snap of him enjoying his newfound freedom with his mother, Shamim Syed

"Welcome home Adnan," attorney Erica J. Suter wrote.

Based on the clothing being worn, it appears that the snaps were taken on Monday, just hours after Adnan's murder conviction was vacated by a Maryland judge.

Adnan was sentenced to life in prison when he was just 18 years old for the 1999 killing of his girlfriend Hae Min Lee. (He was 17 at the time of the murder and his arrest.) In 2014, "Serial" raised significant doubts about Adnan's conviction, and prosecutors recently argued that he should be released after new evidence was uncovered.

Primarily because of "Serial," podcast the case garnered international headlines. Sarah Koenig, who hosts the podcast, told the New York Times she's "shocked" over the release.

"I did not see this coming at all," she said. "One of the first things I did was call Adnan's brother and then his mother — they told me they didn't know either. The prosecutors who filed the motion to release him kept it pretty tight, it seems."

"I felt almost disoriented for about a day," she added. "Like the city prosecutor's office suddenly pulled off a rubber mask and underneath was a scowling defense attorney."

Prosecutors — the same ones who uncovered new evidence that points to alternate suspects —have 30 days to decide whether to pursue a new trial against Adnan, who spent 23 years locked up. Sarah, though, doesn't foresee that happening, saying the likelihood of another Adnan trial is "remote, at best."

'America's Got Talent' star who was paralyzed in stunt claims he did nothing wrong

Jonathan Goodwin, the daredevil who nearly died last year from a stunt during rehearsals for "America's Got Talent: Extreme," is convinced that he's not to blame for the horrible accident that left him paralyzed.

During an Instagram Q&A, a fan specifically asked the stuntman if the tragedy occurred due to an "improper setup" or a mistake on his end. Jonathan, 42, replied, "I didn't do anything wrong."

Whether he blames the set up isn't known, but he clearly believes that he executed his stunt as intended.

Walter McBride/WireImage

Last year, Jonathan was practicing for a dangerous stunt he planned to perform on the reality TV show — in the stunt, he hung upside down between two swinging cars while escaping from a strait jacket. Video shows Jonathan escaping but being sandwiched between the two suspended swinging vehicles.

At the time of the incident many people thought he was dead, and the outlook certainly appeared bleak. Jonathan survived but was paralyzed. He is now confined to a wheelchair.

"He fell 30ft and lost a kidney, broke both shoulder blades, shattered both legs. Third-degree burns, broke his spine and severed his spinal cord and nearly died. And then on the operating table, he nearly died again," his fiance, "Sherlock" actress Amanda Abbington, said at the time. "Unless there's a kind of stem cell surgery, or that thing that Elon Musk is designing with the little chip, he'll be like that forever."

He explained on Britain's "Lorraine" that Jonathan recalled giving Amanda a "Get Out of Jail Free" card if she wanted to leave the relationship knowing that he would never walk again. She stayed by his side then, and has continued to.

In another Instagram question, Jonathan was asked if he had advice for people going through "rough" times. After posting a throwback photo from hospital, he said, "Stay in the moment. Try not to project the future or concern yourself with the past. Take every day, every hour, every minute as it comes. Ask for help if you need it."

Ana de Armas visited Marilyn Monroe's grave to ask 'permission' to portray her

Let's just say Ana de Armas needed to get into the spirit of Marilyn Monroe.

In a chat with AnOther magazine, the actress said she actually visited Marilyn's grave to ask for permission to portray the movie star and pop culture icon in Netflix's "Blonde."

Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock

"We got this big card and everyone in the crew wrote a message to her," she said. "Then we went to the cemetery and put it on her grave. We were asking for permission in a way."

While the "Knives Out" actress didn't indicate whether the ghost of the "Some Like It Hot" star responded that day, she and the crew went through with the film.

"Everyone felt a huge responsibility, and we were very aware of the side of the story we were going to tell — the story of Norma Jeane, the person behind this character, Marilyn Monroe. Who was she really?," Ana said.

Blonde, which reportedly got a rare NC-17 rating, has gotten rave reviews from those who've seen it — it received a standing ovation at the 2022 Venice International Film Festival. However, it was not an easy movie to make, especially since Ana felt a need to do right by Marilyn.

"Don't get me wrong, I had so much fun. I wasn't by any means in character for nine weeks, not between takes, not in my lunch break. I was Ana," she said. "But emotionally? The weight of it stayed with me for sure. There was no way to unplug because I'd get home and study for the next day and then Andrew was on the phone until midnight."

2022 © Netflix

Marilyn even came to Ana in her dreams… somewhat.

"I would go to sleep and dream I had long conversations with her, or little things — like once we were choosing which color vase we'd put flowers in," she said. "I don't want it to seem like I'm saying, 'Marilyn and I were connected' — not at all. But I was thinking of her so much, some days I would go home and have dinner and as I was washing the dishes I would just start sobbing, crying and crying, because I had this terrible feeling — I knew I couldn't fix it."

Although Marilyn's been dead for 60 years, her image is still omnipresent in pop culture. More than that, her presence might have actually been on the set of "Blonde."

"I truly believe that she was very close to us. She was with us," Ana told reporters in Venice. "I think she was happy. She would also throw things off the wall sometimes and get mad if she didn't like something. Maybe this sounds very mystical, but it is true. We all felt it."

There was one Spice Girls rule that only Mel C was required to follow

As a member of the Spice Girls, Melanie Chisholm was single, and that was hardly an accident.

In a chat with Australia's The Project, the singer said she was not allowed to date while part of the influential Girl Power squad, but the other members — Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham— were free to have boyfriends.

London Entertainment/Shutterstock

"Looking back what struck me was it was one rule for one and another for the others, right?" she said. "I think when you are vulnerable as well, people go, I don't think it's good for you."

The rule for the other women, she said, was "she is fine, she can have a boyfriend, she can cope with having a boyfriend, she is strong enough but you are not."

Mel C, also known as Sporty Spice in the '90s, added, "It makes you question yourself when you are already vulnerable."

As Mel got older, she began dating, and even had a tryst with Robbie Williams in 1997. In her new memoir, "Who I Am," she said he wasn't exactly a great boyfriend, nor was he "lovely" to her. Mel was left heartbroken when Robbie "abruptly" broke up with her.

"He has apologized to me and a lot of water has gone under the bridge and we're absolutely fine and have been for many, many years," she said in the interview, while also noting Robbie has yet to read the chapter in her book that speaks of their romance. "We're doing a show together in a few weeks, so I might have to tell him to read the chapter!"

'Escaping Polygamy' star files lawsuit against sect for forced marriage, other crimes

A polygamist sect in Utah is being accused of sex abuse and forcing women into marriage, and one of the women at the forefront of the allegations is a star of "Escaping Polygamy."

Amanda Rae Grant and nine other former members of the Kingston polygamist family have filed a 109-page lawsuit in District Court against group leader Paul Elden Kingston and dozens of other individuals known as "The Order."

Amanda Rae Grant/Instagram

The lawsuit, according to Salt Lake City's KUTV, said, "It is a common and intentional practice in the Order to require girls and women to submit sexually to their husbands even if the sexual submission is against their will because having children results in workers for the benefit of the Order. It is also a common and intentional practice in the Order for girls to be impregnated and have children when they are young so they cannot leave, which also benefits the Order."

The lawsuit also alleges the children are forced to work unpaid for Order-owned businesses, which it claims violates child labor laws.

In Amanda's case, she claims she was abused for 10 years by John Paul Johnson, a son of one of her father's other wives. She was 8 years old when the alleged abuse began, and John was 13. Amanda, who left the religion nine years ago, claims she was eventually forced to marry her first cousin.

"Despite telling her parents, Amanda was not protected by those in the Order who knew of it, and the abuse continued," her complaint, obtained by Radar Online, said. "Amanda eventually told two outsiders."

Much of Amanda's story has been shared on A&E and Lifetime's "Escaping Polygamy" series.

She alleged five different counts of human trafficking against the Kingston Group in her portion of the lawsuit.

The women also accuse the sect of "exploiting and defrauding governments and taxpayers for the benefit of the order."

https://www.instagram.com/p/BkLwea2HQmS/?hl=en

The Kingston group responded to the lawsuit by ripping Roger Hoole, the producer behind several movies and documentaries about polygamy, including Netflix's popular "Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey." Roger is one of the lawyers representing the 10 women.

"Lawyer turned TV producer, Roger Hoole's lawsuit reads more like the script to his next sensationalized production than a lawsuit. Much of the wording addresses non-legal issues or non-defendants. Member and non-member participants have reportedly been offered or paid substantial sums of money to be featured in this lawsuit and/or in Hoole's next production," the statement said. "While, we haven't done a full review of the documents, much of what we have reviewed appears frivolous and unfounded. Mr. Hoole appears to be counting on a 'guilty until proven innocent' tendency in public opinion. However, we don't expect any of the claims to prevail in a court of law."
