Emmy Rossum claps back at Twitter user over 'naked' message

Emmy Rossum went below the belt after a troll attempted to mock her on Twitter.

While watching the Vice Presidential debate on Oct. 7, the "Shameless" actress celebrated a line spoken by Kamala Harris.

"Can't wait to get my I'M SPEAKING t-shirt," Emmy tweeted, referring to a viral moment in the debate.

A Twitter user attempted to take a shot at Emmy for her thoughts, writing, "Yeah your shirts that say I GET PAID TO GET NAKED ON TV are sold out."

Emmy didn't waste much time in coming back hard after the hater.

https://twitter.com/emmyrossum/status/1314058155114991616

"I get paid to tell stories and life sometimes involves this awesome thing called sex," she responded, adding the coup de grace, "Maybe you've just never had any so you don't know."

Fans went wild for Emmy's response, telling her how much they love her and referring to her often as a "queen."

Following the responses, many of them politically-charged, Emmy noted how proud she is of her body and how politics are often at the forefront of the online resentment.

"When I say something Trump supporters hate, they love to come at me for my body," she wrote, acknowledging she often hears sentiments telling her to "Shut up and go back to being naked."

She continued, "They seem to think I should be ashamed of my female naked body. I don't feel shame. I love my body. That must be intimidating for them. I'm not sorry."

Fans desperately want Jeff Goldblum to play Mike Pence's fly on 'SNL'

A two-minute cameo during the Vice Presidential debate has fans buzzing, and Jeff Goldblum could be reaping the rewards.

Mark Von Holden/Invision/AP/Shutterstock

During the live debate on Oct. 7, a fly comfortably placed itself on Mike Pence's head. Media outlets clocked the fly's screen time at over two minutes. Immediately fans took to social media to beg for Jeff to reprise his role as "The Fly" on "Saturday Night Live."

Jeff famously played a scientist who accidentally transformed himself into a fly-human hybrid in the 1986 film.

Moviestore/Shutterstock

"I think we can all agree the winner of tonight's #VPDebate was Jeff Goldblum," one person commented on Twitter. Another said, "If SNL doesn't get Jeff Goldblum to play the fly in this week's episode, they're missing a massive opportunity." One person joked, "Awesome cameo by #JeffGoldblum in the VP debate."

"LORNE MICHAELS… I IMPLORE YOU… PLEASE… GET JEFF GOLDBLUM TO PLAY THE FLY ON @NBCSNL THIS WEEKEND!!! #VPDebate," one another person begged. Added another, "I hope they get #JeffGoldblum to play the fly on @nbcsnl this week!"

Bob Saget commented, "The Fly just got a show on Netflix. Jeff Goldblum to voice."

Patrick Semansky/AP/Shutterstock

The Jeff Goldblum tweets came in hot and heavy, as did general tweets about the scene-stealing fly. Within moments of the debate ending, Presidential nominee Joe Biden wouldn't let the moment fly by, as he even began selling campaign-branded flyswatters.

For the record, "SNL" has not commented whether or swat not Jeff with appear on this weekend's show.

Chicago pizza staple blasts Lily Collins over 'Emily in Paris' jab

Lily Collins' joke about a legendary Chicago pizza joint cut deep (dish).

On Oct. 7, Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, an iconic franchise within The Windy City and Illinois, defended itself on Instagram after Lily took a jab at it during the first episode of Netflix's "Emily in Paris."

Courtesy of Netflix

The show follows Emily as she moved from Chicago to Paris for work. One early scene shows a French colleague describing Chicago-style deep-dish pizza as "quiche made of cement." Emily replies, "Oh, no, you must have gone to Lou Malnati's."

A crusty Lou wasn't about to take that, as it posted a shot of Lily to its Instagram page, even photoshopping a piece of Lou's pie on a plate in front of her.

"Emily in Paris thinks Lou's sucks. We disagree," the post said. "Try it for yourself. Hate it? #movetoParis 🍕."

The joint continued to slice into the show and Lily's character, posting a picture of fresh pizza embedded with the words, "Hey Emily… jealous?"

Marc Malnati seemed to take offense to the joke.

"We've been serving Chicago's favorite Deep Dish since 1971. When Netflix' Emily in Paris writers chose to take a shot at Chicagoans and our pizza to try to get a laugh, it felt heartless and not humorous in the midst of Covid-19," he said in a statement. "Thank you to all our fans who have shown so much love and support!"

Capitalizing on the moment, the pizza franchise, which has over 50 locations, even said it was giving $5 off a pizza package to say "merci," which means thank you in French.

Fans of Lou's defended the local restaurant chain, too — some people said they weren't going to watch the fictional show anymore. Others even called for a boycott.

"No idea who Emily is but I won't be watching this show. Malnati's is delicious," one fan said.

Another added, "Ordered last night for the 234,000th time in my 17 years of life and I can assure you… it doesn't suck!"

Fictional show. Real life anger.

Macaulay Culkin's face mask is beyond amazing: Must-see pic

Thanks to his face mask, Macaulay Culkin has won the Internet for the week

On Oct. 7, the actor posted a selfie while wearing a face mask that showed his actual hands and mouth from an iconic scene in 1990's "Home Alone." Macaulay wore it over his mouth, making fans do a double take. Macaulay's eyes even had the same expression as they did 30 years ago.

"Just staying Covid-safe by wearing the flayed skin of my younger self," Macaulay, 40, hilariously wrote. "Don't forget to wear your masks, kids."

Promotional

As a nod to the film's sequel, "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," a Lego replica of the Empire State Building stood behind Macaulay.

"Whoever thought to put the LEGO Empire State Building in the back is a genius! Lol. Hehehe," Macaulay's girlfriend, Brenda Song, commented.

Jordan Strauss/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock

Needless to say, fans loved the image. Natalie Portman commented, "So good mack."

Other fans used the comments section to quote lines from the movie or refer to him as "Kevin McCallister," his character's name.

Fans called it "genius" or "amazing" or "perfect." Many others wondered where they could get that particular face mask.

It is all of those things, and, to paraphrase one comment, it is very Meta-Caulay Culkin.

Britney Spears' lawyer has surprising description of pop star in court

Britney Spears' lawyer reportedly likened the pop star to a "comatose patient" during a new court hearing.

Rob Latour/Shutterstock

On Oct. 7, there was yet another hearing related to Britney's long-running conservatorship case. TMZ describes the latest hearing as routine, at least initially, but the judge soon began asking about media reports that the pop star wanted a co-conservator of her estate, ensuring that her father, Jamie Spears, wasn't in sole control. Although the lawyer was answering for Britney, the judge wondered if Britney herself would sign a sworn declaration to convey her feelings.

Britney's lawyer, Sam Ingham, said that "Britney lacked the capacity to sign a declaration, and likened her to a comatose patient," TMZ reported.

While the description is surprising, the attorney's point was simple: even with comatose patients, it's perfectly acceptable to have their lawyers speak for them.

The judge didn't make a decision on the case during the hearing.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

For the past several months, Britney's conservatorship case has grown increasingly hostile. Last month, via her legal team, she asked that the case be opened to the public.

The conservatorship, which Jamie has run since 2008, has been a source of contention for years, especially among Britney's fans, some of whom believe she's being held against her will and even using Instagram to covertly send signals. They've dubbed it the #FreeBritney movement, and it's been gaining momentum. In August, Jamie dismissed the movement as "a joke."

Recently Britney implied in court documents that she doesn't trust her father, particularly when it comes to the conservatorship. Further, Britney's team says there's no reason to keep the case private because no sensitive issues regarding her minor children will be disclosed.

"Britney herself is vehemently opposed to this effort by her father to keep her legal struggle hidden away in the closet as a family secret," the new documents claim. "Far from being a conspiracy theory or a 'joke' as James [Jamie] reportedly told the media, in large part this scrutiny is a reasonable and even predictable result of James' aggressive use of the sealing procedure over the years to minimize the amount of meaningful information made available to the public."

Suzanne Somers recovering from neck surgery after fall

Suzanne Somers required neck surgery after recently falling down the stairs in her home, a new report states.

The stairway spill came while the "Three's Company" star continues to recover from a fractured hip.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

The New York Post's gossip site Page Six reported on Oct. 7 that Suzanne is set to post a statement about her status on her Facebook page, a place where she and her husband, Alan Hamel, often host social media gatherings at their home bar, Big Al's. Page Six got an advanced copy of Suzanne's statement.

"Thank you so much for all of your concern while Alan and I took a break from our normal schedule. As most of you know, I have been struggling for the better part of the year with a fractured hip, and then Alan and I took an unfortunate fall while coming down the stairs at our home," she's reportedly set to share. "I had an intense amount of pain after the fall that was not resolving – even after having tequila!

She adds, "After several scans, it was determined I had two vertebrae out of place which was causing pressure on nerves and creating that tremendous pain. The good news is that I had neck surgery to correct these issues and now I am on the mend! I need a bit more time to recover before I can join you again at the bar for our virtual cocktail parties."

Suzanne, 73, will also express her gratitude for her fans.

In January 2020, Suzanne discussed her fractured hip while promoting her newest book, "A New Way To Age." While wearing "5-inch Manolo Blahniks" and being supported by crutches, she said, "I had to stay in bed for six weeks, no moving — but my husband went to bed with me."

Stassi Schroeder secretly married Beau Clark last month

Stassi Schroeder secretly said "I do" last month.

The former "Vanderpump Rules" star revealed on Oct. 7 that she and Beau Clark quietly tied the knot in a small backyard ceremony, although they still plan to have a larger ceremony next fall.

"Today would've been our wedding day. We went and did it anyway. ❤️" she captioned a video from their nuptials. "Married sept 2020. Hopefully Italian dream wedding oct 2021."

She told Beau, "I am so proud to be your wife."

Stassi, 32, didn't indicate who attended the private nuptials or how many people were there.

The couple had previously spoken about postponing their wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic. "So planning a wedding that may be nonexistent is fun. Def recommend," she sarcastically tweeted in March.

A lot has happened in Stassi's life since that sarcastic tweet. In June, Stassi was one of four "Vanderpump Rules" cast members notoriously fired for past racist actions, of which she's apologized for. Around the same time, she announced that she and Beau were expecting a child, a girl. The child is due in January.

"I want to be a better person. I'm pregnant and I want my daughter to be proud of me, and I want to be part of the solution," she said during a recent appearance on the Tamron Hall show while discussing the controversial comments that got her fired from the reality TV show. "I've been a part of the problem for years now. And I recognize that and that's why I say, I don't feel like I'm a victim of cancel culture. People want me to be mad at it and I'm not. I needed it. Anne Heche on why she stormed off 'DWTS' set after elimination

Anne Heche is opening up about why she stormed off the set of "Dancing with the Stars" this week following her elimination from the show, acknowledging that it had to do with her 20-year-old romance with Ellen DeGeneres.

Broadimage/Shutterstock

Before what would be her final dance on the show, Anne spoke about how her highly-public relationship with Ellen from 1997 to 2000 essentially got her blacklisted for a while.

"The honest truth is that it took 20 years to process and share that story, so finally, telling it and being voted off on the same night was not the best feeling," Anne told Page Six. "It did feel good to tell my story to show that we have come a long way, and we see things with more acceptance now – even though we are not all the way there yet, it's important to recognize how far we have come."

Matt Baron/REX/Shutterstock

While on "DWTS," Anne told her partner, Keo Motsepe, that her life changed due to the romance, noting that it cost her roles in blockbuster films.

"My story is a story that created change in the world, moved the needle for equal rights forward," she said. "In 1997, I met Ellen DeGeneres at the Vanity Fair party and that was the night that changed my life forever. My movie premiere for 'Volcano,' I had told them that I was taking Ellen as my date and I was told if I took Ellen I would lose my Fox contract. At that moment, she took my hand and said, 'Do what they say,' and I said, 'No thanks.'"

Bei/Shutterstock

Anne was determined to have Ellen by her side that night.

"I took Ellen to the premiere and I was ushered out by security before the movie even ended and was told I was not allowed to go to my own after-party for fear they would get pictures of me with a woman," she said. "I was in a relationship with Ellen DeGeneres for three-and-a-half years and the stigma attached to that relationship was so bad that I was fired from my multimillion-dollar picture deal and I did not work in a studio picture for 10 years."

Reba McEntire reveals she's dating 'CSI' actor

But, does he love you?

Reba McEntire has revealed that she's off the market and dating "CSI: Miami" actor Rex Linn.

Rumors of the romance had been quietly circulating after Rex, 63, posted a photo with the "Fancy" singer in January.

"Had a fantastic dinner with this Oklahoma girl. Tater Tots and Ketchup included," he captioned the image.

On her "Living and Learning" podcast, which Reba, 65, hosts with Melissa Peterman, the singer confirmed the romance, calling the actor as "a very, very sweetheart of a guy."

"It's good to have a person to talk to, laugh with, get into subjects about what's going on. Discussions about our past, our family, funny stories, him being an actor, me being an actress. And he's very into my music. I'm very into his career," she said. "We're having a blast and still getting to know each other. Whatever happens in the future, we're very stable and it's been a good six months and I look forward to having more things to look forward to."

The country music legend added that she and Rex have been talking, texting and FaceTiming throughout the pandemic.

When Reba's mother passed in January, she noted that Rex sent a care package to her family.

"It gave me such a sense that he really cared for me but not only me but my family," she said.

This is Reba's second romance since splitting with Narvel Blackstock in 2015, whom she was married to for 26 years. The singer dated Anthony "Skeeter" Lasuzzo for two years, but the duo broke up in 2019.

Pauly Shore discusses his 'hard' fall from fame

Pauly Shore had a good ride in the '90s, starring in several movies and even briefly having his own TV series. But then, audiences quickly got tired of his silly shtick and moved on.

David Buchan/Shutterstock

Few people have seen a fall from fame as swiftly as Pauly, and he admits that he took it hard.

"I was sad because at the end of the day, for ten years of my career I was doing movies and MTV and albums and then when my thing wasn't as popular," he told Page Six in a new interview. "So it was hard but fortunately for me. I'm very resilient. I got it from my mom and dad. So when one door shuts, the other door opens."

Pauly often played an over-the-top, aloof character in a slate of comedic films, including "Encino Man," "Son in Law" and "Bio-Dome." Around the turn of the century, most of his movie and TV offers dried up.

Invision/AP/Shutterstock

Now though, as he's been largely away from the spotlight for the better part of two decades, Pauly thinks there may be a few fans ready to welcome him and his antics back.

"I moved to Las Vegas about four months ago and I'm just trying to go back to the original feeling of me being fun and silly and maybe I'll attract someone who supports what I'm doing," he said.

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

Most recently, Pauly can be seen in "The Comedy Store," a five-part documentary on Showtime that chronicles the evolution of the comedy club of the same name. His mother, Mitzi, gained ownership of the club in a divorce settlement from Pauly's father, Sammy.

"The Comedy Store" is legendary, as it helped a gaggle of brand-name comedians launch their careers, including Richard Pryor, David Letterman, Jim Carrey and Robin Williams.

"My mom's life began at 40 when she got the club," Pauly said of Mitzi, who passed away in 2018. "It was her calling to help nurture and develop comedians."

He added, "My wife was my mom. I really took care of her all the way to the end. My heart and my soul are with my mom, and now that she's passed it's kind of a new chapter."

Will Smith says caffeine to blame for viral crying meme face

Will Smith is opening up about the viral meme that appears to show him crying.

The actor says it's the caffeine's fault.

Anthony Harvey/REX/Shutterstock

Back in July, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith sat down for her Red Table Talk series to chat about her affair with 27-year-old R&B singer August Alsina. During one particular shot, Will appears to be welling up and very emotional. Fans immediately created a slew of memes attached to Will's reaction.

https://twitter.com/VirgoGawddess/status/1282443587964280832

On Oct. 5, just prior to accepting the Robin Williams Legacy of Laughter Award this week, Will joked about the now-infamous meme.

"I'm not sad a lot," he said in a YouTube video. "I think because I drink so much coffee I get dehydrated and it makes my eyes watery. I know people think I'm crying all the time."

Referring directly to the Red Table Talk filming, Will explained that it was midnight and he even wanted to reshoot the discussion when the time was better suited for the situation. Plus, the family was trying to hightail it to Bahamas as soon as the shoot was finished.

Still, Will thought the Internet's reaction was hilarious.

"It played out, everyone was like, 'Poor Will,'" he laughed. "They think I'm sad. They love themselves some Will."

During the aforementioned Red Table Talk, Will and Jada both admitted that they were secretly separated during the time of the relationship with August. Jada, however, kept calling it an "entanglement."

"We decided that we were going to go separate for a period of time, and you go figure out how to make yourself happy, and I'll figure out how to make myself happy. … I really felt like we could be over," Will said.

"At that point in time, it was indefinite," Jada agreed.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

While chatting about the tryst last July, Jada said she wanted to help August through physical and mental health traumas. She added that she was "broken" at the time of the romance.

"We did everything we could to get away from each other, only to realize that's not possible," Jada told Will, adding that she didn't see it as a "transgression."

"Through that particular journey, I learned so much about myself and was really able to confront a lot of emotional immaturity, emotional insecurity — and I was really able to do some really deep healing," she said.

Will and Jada eventually reconciled. They have not been in communication with August since.

Brody Jenner demands MTV film 'The Hills' in LA after 'bubble' chatter

"The Hills: New Beginnings" is set to resume filming in Los Angeles within a few weeks, and it's all because Brody Jenner refused to cave to the network's wishes of shooting in a "bubble environment."

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

Reports claim that the MTV reality show had finished filming about three episodes when the coronavirus pandemic shut production down. Similar to how other shows are pressing on, producer's preference was to finish filming the ongoing season in a controlled "bubble" environment, and they were supposedly even looking at shooting in a home in Colorado or Montana.

According to TMZ, Brody, arguably the most notable name among the cast, told producers that he would only film the show in Los Angeles. Period.

"Brody also told the network he'd be willing to wait and resume production of season two until there was a vaccine for COVID-19," TMZ said.

Todd Williamson/JanuaryImages/Shutterstock

Brody's logic was less about flexing his muscle or being a diva, and more about the integrity of the show. In Brody's eyes, the show is about the cast member's lives in Los Angeles, not in other locations.

MTV supposedly pressed Brody hard to get him to relent, but he refused. In the end, the network had to give into Brody, believing it can't do the show without him.

The show is set to begin rolling cameras against within a month.

Chris Pratt catching heat online for voting joke

Chris Pratt is taking flack after getting political on Instagram… only he wasn't talking about the 2020 election or any other hot-button topics.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

On Instagram, the actor posted a promotional photo of "Onward," the animated movie he starred in with Tom Holland. His caption initially had all the makings of a political post.

"With all that's going on in the world it is more important than ever that you vote. Just ask any celebrity. They will tell you. Every day. Several times a day. To vote. But me? I will tell you EXACTLY who to vote for," he wrote while speaking about "Onward."

"The heroes before us did not spill their blood only to have their sacrifices wasted by your apathy," he penned. "The upcoming 2020 People's Choice Awards is the most consequential vote in the history of mankind times a million infinity. Vote for #Onward for family movie of the year. Or else. You WILL die. No hyperbole."

He encouraged his fans to let their voices "be heard."

Many of Chris' fans laughed and acknowledged that they thought he was going to support one of the presidential nominees. Some even thanked him to not doing so.

"Appreciate you not getting political!" one fan said. "My job is to build houses and your job is to entertain I say we stick to what we do!"

ETIENNE LAURENT/EPA-EFE/Shutterstock

However, a slew of others weren't laughing at his attempt at humor.

"I get this is supposed to be a cute little joke but it comes off as really insensitive," one person said. "The upcoming election is really important and everyone should vote and for you to try and take that and turn it into an ad for your movie is low."

One person encouraged Chris to delete the post.

"I wish I found this funny," another said.

Another unamused commenter said, "YIKES. Imagine the amount of privilege one person can have to write this tone deaf post."

Of course, Chris' backers essentially told those who were offended to lighten up. And, ironically, many of the people supporting Chris made their comments, well, highly political.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the model unfollowed the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star after photos of him with model Bella Banos emerged last week following a dinner date.

"Sofia was disappointed when she saw Scott was out with Bella," a source told E! News. "He has said over and over he's not interested in dating and is focused on other things so it came as a surprise and she felt he has been dishonest."

Sofia, the source said, "didn't like what she saw."

ShotbyNYP / BACKGRID

Of Scott and Bella, a separate source told E! that Scott isn't looking for anything serious with her.

"They have hung out a few times now in the last couple weeks and have been quietly seeing each other," the insider said. "It's been a fun distraction for Scott and he feels good to be out in the dating game again. Scott doesn't want anything serious, but they are having fun. He likes Bella's energy and thinks she has a great personality."

This marks the first woman Scott has been seriously linked to since he and Sofia split after three years together. Sofia, meanwhile, has been linked to Jaden Smith, although they've both said their longtime friendship is strictly platonic.

In addition to unfollowing Scott, Sofia also unfollowed Kourtney Kardashian, with whom Scott shares three children with.

"Kourtney didn't make it easy for her," a source told Page Six in May, "and you can only tolerate that kind of treatment for so long."

For years, fans have hoped for Scott and Kourtney to reconcile, but it seems that the duo are far more focused on maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship.

Mick Fleetwood recreates viral 'Dreams' skateboarding TikTok video: Watch

Mick Fleetwood has recreated a viral TikTok video made by one of his fans.

Last week, a video went hugely viral of a man, later identified as Nathan Apodaca, skateboarding down an expressway while guzzling Ocean Spray juice directly from the bottle and vibing along to Fleetwood Mac's 1977 hit "Dreams."

Instagram

After the legendary group caught wind of the video, it posted it to Twitter.

"We love this!" the caption read alongside the 25-second clip of Nathan, who goes by the username doggface208.

Over the weekend, Mick got in on the action, as he filmed a video of himself listening to "Dreams" while skating through a garden and drinking Ocean Spray.

"@doggface208 had it right," he wrote alongside his TikTok recreation. "Dreams and Cranberry just hits different."

Mick even told Nathan that he'd be interested in recreating the video together once the coronavirus pandemic is over.

In a chat with TMZ last week, Nathan detailed how the video came to be, indicating his car broke down on the way to work, something that apparently often occurs, as his car has over 300,000 miles on it. Rather than panic, Nathan grabbed his longboard, which he always keeps in the car for this exact instance. With his broken-down car on the side of the road in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Nathan filmed the video en route to work.

The video exploded in popularity and many people soon heard Nathan's story (he lives in an RV in his brother's driveway and has no running water). Fans quickly started donating to Nathan via money-sharing apps, and as of last week he'd gotten over $10,000 from strangers. He planned to surprise his mom with $5,000, and planned to use the rest for a new car.

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

Not only did Nathan's video touch many on social media, it also sparked interest in Fleetwood Mac's 43-year-old song. Apple said it saw a 221 percent increase in streams of "Dreams" following the viral video. It also made its way onto Rolling Stone Top 100 Songs Chart, currently sitting at No. 24.
