Tom Cruise, 'Mission: Impossible' forced to suspend filming due to sheep invasion

"Mission: Impossible," indeed!

Tom Cruise and the rest of the cast and crew from the upcoming "Mission: Impossible" action film were forced to temporarily suspend filming after a flock of sheep invaded the area.

Fox News reports that Tom and the team were filming in the Lake District in England when the flock began walking directly into the camera's view. The actor was seen laughing while waiting for the animals to pass through.

The seventh installment of "Mission: Impossible" is set to be released in July 2023. The crew has also already begun filming the eighth installment of the franchise, so it seems highly likely that Tom's character, Ethan Hunt, survives in "M:I 7."

Tom has made quite an impression across the pond while filming, as he's come across many locals and vacationers to the area. A couple recently recalled stumbling across the movie star before hopping into a helicopter.

"He was nice and polite and really humble. Tom Cruise apologized for the noise of the helicopters and asked if we were alright," the man told Northern Echo.

BACKGRID

He also had a funny exchange with an English couple after interrupting their serene day atop a mountain in the United Kingdom to film a stunt.

Just moments before filming the sequence for "Mission: Impossible 7," the actor arrived via helicopter to the top of England's High Crag. After noticing a couple relaxing on the mountain's peak, Tom apologized. After ending the very brief interaction he then paraglided off the cliff.

"Sorry for disturbing your peaceful walk with all the noise — I like your dog," Tom apparently shouted at Sarah Haygarth at the 2,440 foot summit.

In sharing the moment with The Sun, Sarah recalled Tom getting dropped off and immediately getting his parachute ready, as though he was going to jump off the mountain.

Sarah shouted, "Are you really going to jump off there?," to which Tom nodded and simply replied, "See you later, folks." With that, Tom jumped and sailed back to his camp.

David Beckham waits in line for 13 hours to pay respects to Queen

For David Beckham, the wait was worth it.

On Friday, Sept. 16, the former soccer star waited in line for 13 hours in order to pay respects the late Queen Elizabeth II lying in state at Westminster Hall in London. He appears to tear up while walking past the late monarch's coffin. He also bowed his head and closed his eyes momentarily while appearing before the coffin.

David, donning a suit and flat cap, told a news crew that he began lining up around 2:15 a.m.

"We've all been celebrating, telling stories," he told a reporter while in line. Speaking of the long wait, he said, "To be honest, it's what we all envisioned. We all want to be here, we all want to experience something where we celebrate the amazing life of our Queen, and I think something like this today is meant to be shared together."

The English soccer legend was escorted by police after leaving the hall.

Becks, who received an OBE (Order of the British Empire) from the Queen in 2003 for services to football, said he and his fellow mourners were snacking on chips, donuts and coffee to keep their energy up while they waited.

In chatting with ITV News, David said great respect for the royals was instilled in him at a young age.

"I grew up in a household of royalists and I was brought up that way so if my grandparents [had] been here today, I know that they would have wanted to be here so I am here on their behalf and on behalf of my family and obviously to celebrate with everybody else here," he said. "The amount of times that I was able to meet her through my career and I was very lucky… to represent my country, to be captain of my country."

He continued, "Every time we stood there and we wore those Three Lions shirts and I had my armband and we sang 'God Save Our Queen,' that was something that meant so much to us and every time that we did it, it was something special. Probably the most special moment for me was when I received my OBE, and to receive my OBE… To step up, to get my honour, but then also her majesty to ask a question and to talk, I was so lucky that I was able to have a few moments like that in my life."

Matt LeBlanc, 55, almost unrecognizable from 'Friends' days

Where's Matt LeBlanc, and what have you done with him?

The "Friends" actor made a rare public outing in Los Angeles earlier this week, and he looked almost nothing like his Joey Tribbiani days form 1994-2004.

The actor has largely stayed under the radar since he and his girlfriend of six years, UK TV producer Aurora Milligan, split.

"Matt and Aurora's relationship has run its course. It's all over. It's a huge shame and Matt has taken the news particularly hard, as anyone would," a source told The Sun in February. "He and Aurora fell for each on Top Gear and although there was a pretty big age gap they were a really great match."

"But when he announced he was leaving Top Gear and took on other work, it was hard for them. He's mainly based out of LA and was traveling a lot while Aurora was working in the UK," the source said.

Josh Duhamel was in E.R. just before surprise wedding

Josh Duhamel was partying a little too hard at his wedding… actually, before his wedding.

The "Transformers" actor was actually in the North Dakota emergency room the morning of his nuptials after injuring his back dancing. In chatting with Vogue Australia, Josh's bride, Audra Mari, said her new husband slipped a disc in his back after "pulling some wild dance moves on the party bus."

Image Press Agency/NurPhoto/Shutterstock

In recalling the moment, Audra said, "Cue the cortisone shot and let's get married!"

Josh and Audra married this month in North Dakota, where they're both from. In fact, the ceremony took place in the same church Audra was baptized in.

"We knew we wanted to get married in Fargo," she said. "It was the most important thing for us. Not only is it home to us, but it was so convenient for everyone we love to get to. I guess the romantic in me always feels like we're just two small-town kids from North Dakota who found each other in Los Angeles. But we will always always be home, no matter where we are in the world."

Following the nuptials, the pair celebrated at the Drekker Brewing Company, a world away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood wedding venues.

"At the end of the day, I just wanted to soak it in and enjoy the process, make sure our family had the time of their lives, and that we worked with as many local vendors as possible," Audra said. "It was really important to us to have the day anchored around our families, good music, good food and good drinks. So as important as the style was, it really all came down to making sure our friends and family had the best time and felt the love."

Josh told Vogue he had a relatively hands off approach to the wedding planning.

"Most of the stuff I don't care about," he said. "I just want there to be great music, I want to have people around that we love, and I want be present. I want to make sure that when the night comes, I don't want to be overcome by the moment. I just want to be present and have a great time."

Britney Spears ex-husband wanted by cops for felony grand theft

Britney Spears' ex-husband is again in trouble with the law.

Jason Alexander, who famously married Britney in Las Vegas in 2004, is wanted by California police after skipping out on a court date in Napa County.

The pop star's ex was set to appear in front of a judge in wine country on Tuesday, Sept. 13 on two felony charges of grand theft and buying/receiving stolen property, TMZ said. The case, the website said, stemmed from a 2015 case in which a woman claimed Jason stole jewelry from her.

Jason and Britney, whose marriage lasted 55 hours, have had nothing to do with each other for years, although he did attend a Free Britney rally during her conservatorship fight, and he tried to crash her wedding to Sam Asghari, something he was arrested for.

Following that arrest for trespassing, vandalism and 2 batteries at Brit's home, authorities realized there was an active warrant out for Jason for the aforementioned Napa County case. After serving time in Ventura, he was extradited to face the charges in Napa. At the time, the judge told him to return for a Sept. 13 hearing, which he missed.

Jason is no stranger to the law

Williamson County Sheriffs Office

In summer 2021, he was arrested for allegedly breaching security at a Tennessee airportRadar Online claimed Jason was "double-locked" in handcuffs and detained after he left the secure side of TSA at the Nashville airport. Britney's ex then wandered into a "non-secure area" before attempting to come back through TSA and skip the line.

Jason was also arrested in Nashville in January 2021 on DUI and drug charges, including driving under the influence, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession or casual exchange of a controlled substance.

A month before that DUI arrest, Jason attended the Jan. 6 Save America rally in Washington, D.C., to show his support for Donald Trump. It's not believed that Jason was among the mob that stormed the Capitol building as Congress affirmed Joe Biden's victory.

Then, on Dec. 30, 2021, he was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, this time for violating an order of protection and aggravated stalking.

His trespassing arrest at Britney's wedding marked his fourth arrest in 18 months.

Nicki Minaj files lawsuit against vlogger who dubbed her a drug abuser

Nicki Minaj has filed a lawsuit against a vlogger who claimed the rapper is a drug abuser.

Earlier in the week, Marley Green, who goes by the social media persona "Nosey Heaux," posted a video in which she called Nicki a "cokehead" during an unfounded diatribe.

In another moment, the woman made comments about Nicki's 1-year-old son, which the singer called "vile" in the court documents.

According to TMZ, who obtained the lawsuit, the "Super Bass" singer took more shots at Nosey, calling her a "nobody" and someone "whose main accomplishments in life have been a string of criminal charges, bail jumping and bad debts."

Still, Nicki, who says she'e never used cocaine, acknowledges that the video is beginning to gain traction.

Nicki's lawyer told TMZ, "When this case is over, she will no longer be permitted to use the name 'Nosey Heaux; because we will take her trademark from her when she does not have enough money to pay the judgment. Anyone else who spreads lies about Nicki will suffer a similar fate. My marching orders are to aggressively sue anyone with a media or social media following who damages her with intentional lies. Eventually, the lesson will be learned."

Nicki is asking for at least $75,000.

After news of the lawsuit broke, Nicki noted that she will not play around when it comes to those making false claims about her. On Wednesday, Sept. 14, she tweeted, "Now let's hope the ppl you guys r doing all this dirty work for love you enough to hire top notch lawyers for you & to pay your bills once I own your blogs, your shows, those IG pages y'all tried to protect so bad. Ryan Reynolds has 'life saving' colonoscopy on camera

One "simple step" may have just saved Ryan Reynolds' life.

The actor and his Wrexham soccer club co-chairman, Rob McElhenney, decided to partner up with Lead From Behind, a colon cancer awareness organization, to encourage men to get a colonoscopy and de-stigmatize the procedure.

Sean Ryan/Shutterstock

To accomplish this, both men colonoscopies on camera — Ryan's, though, was a bit more serious.

"I would never normally have any medical procedure put on camera and then share it," the "Deadpool" actor said in a video uploaded to YouTube. "But it's not every day that you can raise awareness about something that will most definitely save lives. That's enough motivation for me to let you in on a camera being shoved up my a**."

At the end, doctors found a "extremely subtle polyp" on the right side his colon, which was removed.

"This was potentially life-saving for you — I'm not kidding, I'm not being overly dramatic," the doctor told Ryan. "This is exactly why you do this. You had no symptoms."

The polyp, the doctor continued, could have turned into cancer.

After getting a clean bill of health, Ryan thanked the physician for "pushing" him to go through with the procedure.

Rob, too, had a colonoscopy filmed. His doctors found three polyps that "were not a big deal." However, the doctor said, it was "certainly a good thing that we found them early and removed them."

Christina Aguilera's makes drastic social media move after Britney Spears body-shaming

Christina Aguilera seems to think that Britney Spears did her Dirrty.

The "Genie in a Bottle" singer unfollowed her fellow pop star after Britney publicly shamed Christina's backup dancers.

Chelsea Lauren/Shutterstock

Although the two women have long claimed no rivalry exists between them, many people believe the former "All-New Mickey Mouse Club" stars don't see eye-to-eye. Britney's Instagram post only fanned those flames… However, nearly a day after the post (in which even Brit's most fervent fans were critical of her) the "Hit Me Baby One More Time" singer said her words were misconstrued.

On Monday, Sept. 12, the "Toxic" songstress posted a quote attributed to the late comedian Rodney Dangerfield that read, "I found there was only one way to look thin: hang out with fat people." In her own adjacent caption, Brit took a swipe at Christina.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CibIJgMpyi9/

"I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children … my dancers … I mean if I had Christina Aguilera's dancers I would have looked extremely small," she wrote with three dancing lady emojis. "I mean why not talk about it ?? Don't you think my confidence would have been a bit better if I could choose where I lived, ate, whom I called on the phone, dated and who was on stage with me !!! It's hard sometimes now I see how much of my womanhood was stripped away at that time and every person sat back and didn't say a thing !!! Anyways … I will be here talking bout things people NEVER talked about!!!"

Not only was Christina obviously taken aback by the unprovoked message, so her Britney's diehard fans, many of whom told her to delete the post.

Suzanne Plunkett/AP/Shutterstock

"Oof. Love Britt- but this was in bad taste. Body shaming to make yourself feel better is not where it's at," one fan said. Another said, "ooop this is far from cool, brit."

Fans told Britney they were "disappointed"  and that argued she was "mean."

"No need to put another woman down to feel better about yourself. Focus on your healing," one said. Many, meanwhile, scolded Britney for "body shaming."

On Tuesday, Sept. 16, Britney maintained she wasn't shaming Christina at all, even bizarrely saying she never mentioned Xtina, even though she did.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CidYiczuBJG/

"By no means was I being critical of Christina's beautiful body, it is what it is !!! I flew to see her show once and the main thing I noticed was the difference of our people on stage !!! By no means did I even mention Christina, look at my post !!! I was inspired by her show and she is a beautiful woman of power … Thank you @xtina for inspiring me!!!," Britney said. "To be honest, I'm not trying to be critical of anybody. What I posted is a projection of the insecurities I deal with all the time as a result of how my parents and the media have treated me … I would never intentionally body shame anybody because I know what it feels like … I struggle with this because of how I feel about myself, not because I hate how anybody looks … I feel like my family knew I was insecure and people were trying to purposefully feed into this insecurity by not letting me have a choice in the people who were on stage with me. I appreciate you all being understanding with me as I figure out this new life I'm living !!!"

Twitter gets carried away over 'insane' Meghan Markle conspiracy

An "insane" conspiracy theory surrounding Meghan Markle is beginning to work its way through social media.

The story stems from a weekend photo of the former "Suits" actress greeting mourners at Windsor Castle following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Social media users noticed a square object protruding from under Meghan's black dress, and several of those same Twitter users immediately felt the Duchess was wearing a secret microphone.

Chris Jackson WPA Pool/Shutterstock

According to the bizarre theory, Meghan was nefariously recording conversations and information for her Netflix series. A source close to Meghan said there's not an ouch of truth to the claim.

"This is insane and actually damaging to her. Of course she was not wearing a mic," a source told Page Six on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Naturally, the statement has done little to quell the Meghan muckrakers.

"Is Meghan markle wearing a mic to use the queens death for her Netflix reality show?," one person said. Without evidence, another person insisted, "I can't believe she is recording this. She is just a vile and toxic woman. I hope King Charles has told Harry she is not to come to the funeral."

Shutterstock

Of course, several others backed Prince Harry's wife and shamed the critics.

"Nothing creepy about zooming in on a photo of a woman's clothing in this manner, not at all," one person sarcastically tweeted.

At the time of the Queen's death, Harry and Meghan, who live in California, were coincidentally already in Britain to attend the WellChild Awards in London. Upon getting word that Her Majesty was on her deathbed, Harry headed to her Balmoral Estate in Scotland to be by his grandmother's side. Meghan, though, stayed back in England. After the death, Harry returned to London.

It's widely expected the couple will remain in the United Kingdom until after Her Majesty's funeral.

The million dollar truth behind Kim Kardashian's sex tape

Kim Kardashian's now-infamous sex tape was first released in 2007, but it's being thrust back into the limelight as more details are leaked.

For years, Kim and her mom, Kris Jenner, have said they had nothing to do with the release of the tape, but Ray J, who is in the x-rated video with Kim, has claimed otherwise. Regardless, the tape was a huge success from the very beginning.

J Mayer/Shutterstock

TMZ obtained an email showing Vivid Entertainment honcho Steve Hirsch purportedly telling Kim that the tape made $1,424,636.63 in revenue, the majority of which stemmed from DVD sales.

Those numbers came just four days six weeks after the tape was released.

The 15-year-old video became a hot topic recently after Kris Jenner took a lie detector test on James Corden's show in which she insisted she had no involvement in the tape's release. Soon after, Ray J said in an Instagram video that Kris was highly involved in the negotiations. Kim was, too, he argued.

Michele Sandberg/Shutterstock

The rapper added that he and Kim each received $400,000 plus 12.5% of the profits. Those numbers jibe with the statement and email TMZ obtained.

Back in February 2007, Kim sued Vivid, claiming she didn't authorize the release of the tape. However, the case was dismissed (and likely settled) on April 27, 2007. The email containing the revenue numbers was sent to Kim four days later.

Prince Harry's behavior toward father King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla now required to change

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are going to have to learn the right way to act.

With King Charles III and Harry's stepmother, Queen Consort Camilla, now leading the royal family amid Queen Elizabeth II's death, Harry and Meghan will have to show deference to them both, according to experts.

Tim Rooke/REX/Shutterstock

"The personal impact is likely the protocol changes that roll into action almost immediately," a source told Page Six. "The family will now have to bow or curtsy to King Charles and Queen [Consort] Camilla."

For a family already rich with tension, this caveat is likely to be very annoying for Harry and Meghan, as he is reportedly not especially fond of Camilla.

"It would be the protocol to bow to the new king and Queen," Majesty managing editor Joe Little told Page Six. "Whether that happened under such circumstances [on Thursday or Friday morning] is debatable, but any time the royal family meets the new king and queen, the done thing would be to bow or curtsy to them."

Seth Wenig/AP/Shutterstock

The strife between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the royal family — which the Duke of Sussex detailed in an Oprah interview last year — is well documented. According to TMZ, Meghan did not get an invitation to visit Her Majesty in her final moments.

Still, in his first speech as king, Charles wished Harry and Meghan well, as if to extend an olive branch.

"I want to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas," he said.
