Jon and Kate Gosselin's daughter Hannah stuns on 18th birthday: See the pics

Hannah Gosselin is all grown up. 

On Tuesday, May 10, the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" alum headed to Miami to celebrate her 18th birthday and launch a beauty line, which is appropriately called Gosselin Girl Beauty.

As part of the birthday shenanigans, Hannah rode around South Beach in a $400,000 Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

"How often do you get to travel with your four best friends to Miami, party at the Sugar Factory, ride in a Rolls-Royce and start a brand new line of amazing products?" she told Page Six. "It was my type of heaven."

Hannah, who lives with her dad, said he made her feel "special" on her big day and implied that he set everything up. 

"I do realize that none of this would be possible without him, and I really appreciate him," she said.

The Gosselin family is complicated. Both Hannah and her brother Colin live with Jon, while her other six siblings — Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Leah, Cara and Madelyn — live with their mom. The family rose to fame in "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which began in 2007 and aired for five seasons.

Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel, and Leah all turned 18 this week.  

"I would have to say the only thing missing from my amazing birthday party was my siblings," Hannah said. "I miss them and I know if we got to spend more time together, especially on our birthday, it would be more fun."

Many of Hannah's friends haven't even met some of her siblings. 

"I seriously can't believe I am 18! It feels like yesterday when my brothers and sisters and I were all together shooting the show! I don't miss it, but I miss them!," she said. "I'm really excited to be at this point in my life. I feel a certain type of freedom."

She then joked, "Then again, ask me next week when my curfew hasn't changed."

Following news of his Tony Award nomination on Monday, May 9, Jesse Williams' name started clicking online after video leaked from a scene in his new play, "Take Me Out," that show him onstage without a stitch of clothing on. But as he told Andy Cohen later on Monday's "Watch What Happens Live," he's gotten comfortable with that aspect of the role, three weeks into the show's run on Broadway. "Everybody makes such a big deal," the 40-year-old "Grey's Anatomy" alum said. "It's a body. Once you see it, you realize … whatever. It's a body! I just have to make it not that big of a deal." Jesse, who plays a gay baseball player who comes out as his career is taking off in the play, added that he handles any remaining anxiety around showing off his body for the role by trying not to "read into" that aspect of the performance "because it just creates more insecurity" for him. "I'm told it's quite insane, but it's a first, so I have nothing to compare it to," he explained. "And I won't be scared of anything after this." Second Stage's Hayes Theater is supposed to be a "phone-free space" — audience members are asked to leave their phones in a "locked pouch" during the play, though someone clearly violated that.

On Monday, May 9, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake used the premiere of her new Hulu true crime series, "Candy," as an excuse for a date night. According to Jessica, those romantic outings with her husband of nearly 10 years have played a key role in the couple's happy marriage. "I'll have to give Justin the credit in this moment, for this one thing that he always says to me: 'We might be married, but we have to keep dating,' and it's so true," Jessica told "Entertainment Tonight" at the premiere. In a public apology to Jessica and their first son on social media a few weeks later, he said that "nothing happened between me and my co-star," but admitted he "drank way too much that night" and called his behavior with the actress "a strong lapse in judgment." Jessica's limited series "Candy" is streaming on Hulu now.

But when her mom read her a book about her namesake, Diana — the Roman goddess of wild animals and the hunt — Diane came to understand herself in a new light. The actress' new book tells the story of what happened after she learned the history behind her own name — "it changed my life and how I see myself today," she says — and touches on how she and Norman decided to name their first child together Nova Tennessee. "I think as children, we suffer through things," Diane continues. "Whether that's a given name, or somebody says something mean to you. Everything is so up in the air. In time, your powers will come, and you don't have to worry. That kind of was the idea of the book." The idea for her daughter's name, she adds, came from two places. The newest addition to Andy Cohen's family made her television debut on Monday, May 9, when the Bravo star shared a home video of his newborn daughter on "Watch What Happens Live." "Lucy Cohen's got the 4-1-1, queen of midnight fun," he sang to his little one as she relaxed in his arms in the clip. Born on April 29 via surrogate, Lucy joins big brother Benjamin at the Cohen household. "As I held Lucy in the hospital, just she and I, late into her first night, I was so moved by all of your love and support," Andy told viewers on the show. "I want you to know that your virtual cheerleading of my starting a family on my own has lifted me up when I most needed it." Andy, 53, also shared how he decided on Lucy's name, saying his dad and two grandfathers are named Louis and he's always "loved" the name Lucy. Lucy's middle name, Evelyn, is a tribute to Andy's mom.

Tina Fey says Kevin Spacey 'hit on' her after he hosted 'SNL'

Over the weekend, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler teamed up for an onstage chat at the Netflix is a Joke festival, where Tina said Kevin Spacey "tried to hit on" her after he hosted "Saturday Night Live" back in 2006. The claim was surprising, since the former "House of Cards" star came out as gay after multiple men accused him of sexual misconduct and harassment in 2017. While drawing questions sourced from Twitter out of bowls on the stage, the former "Weekend Update" stars were asked, among other things, "Who is the most famous person to ever hit on you?" according to The Hollywood Reporter. "This is the kind of weird thing that used to happen to me," Tina replied. "One time when he was hosting 'SNL,' at the after-party, it was late and Kevin Spacey tried to hit on me. I was like, 'Who is this for? Who is this little performance for?'" That was as far as Tina's details about the incident went, though she and Amy did respond to questions about their opinions of other famous men, proving their taste is wildly different — except for John Travolta circa 1970-something. Halsey reveals new diagnoses as health struggles continue

After multiple hospitalizations, Halsey has been diagnosed with a slate of new syndromes, and is currently "on a treatment plan" and "in rehearsals" for an upcoming tour, the singer told fans on Tuesday, May 10. "My health has changed a lot since I got pregnant and gave birth," said Halsey, who uses she/they pronouns. "I started getting really really really sick — I've been kind of sick most of my adult life, but it started getting really bad. After seeing like, a hundred thousand doctors, I got diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, and POTS, and I'm still looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things. It could potentially be another time of auto-immune disease," they continued in the video, according to Entertainment Tonight. "I'm keeping you guys updated, because I know that you're seeing the heart monitor and that I'm sick all the time, and I don't want anybody to be worrying," they added. "I am on a treatment plan right now. I'm in rehearsals for the tour. I'm really excited and really confident that I'm going to be able to do it in a way that's healthy where I could perform my best for all of you … I can't tour the way I used to when I was younger, when I didn't give a s*** about my body … I've learned a lot about doing my job under the conditions I'm experiencing. Only posting this to say, if you see me be gentle lol I'm fragile. Fragile but excited :)." According to the Mayo Clinic, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome primarily affects the skin, joints and blood vessel walls, while the main symptoms of the immune disorder Sjogren's are dry eyes and dry mouth. People with mast cell activation syndrome repeatedly experience anaphylaxis and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) is a blood circulation disorder.

Elon Musk confirms he'd lift Donald Trump's Twitter ban

If Elon Musk's deal to buy Twitter comes to fruition, the SpaceX and Tesla exec says he would allow Donald Trump to resume tweeting. The former president's account was "permanently suspended" after the riot at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021 "due to the risk of further incitement of violence," Twitter said at the time, citing tweets it determined were in violation of various policies about language that's allowed on the platform. "Permanent bans should be extremely rare and really reserved for accounts that are bots, or scam, spam accounts," Elon said at FT Live's Future of the Car conference on Tuesday, May 10, according to CNBC. "I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump. I think that was a mistake, because it alienated a large part of the country and did not ultimately result in Donald Trump not having a voice," he continued. "I would reverse the permanent ban," he added, before reminding attendees, "I don't own Twitter yet. So this is not like a thing that will definitely happen …" Following last month's news that Elon and the Twitter board had agreed to an estimated $44 billion deal, Elon said the platform is "the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated" in a statement. He also said he intends to improve Twitter by adding "new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spam bots, and authenticating all humans." The former president's permanent Twitter ban followed a temporary, 12-hour ban, and a warning from the company.

Young Thug arrested on gang-related charges in Atlanta

Grammy-winner rapper and singer Young Thug (real name: Jeffery Lamar Williams) was arrested at his Atlanta home on Monday, May 9, 2022, on gang-related charges tied to the street gang Young Slime Life, which prosecutors say he co-founded. He's named in a 56-count indictment along with more than two dozen alleged Young Slime Life associates, including the rapper Gunna, according to CNN. Charged with conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act and participation in criminal street gang activity, the music star is accused of playing some role in alleged crimes that date back to 2013 and include a fatal drive-by shooting, drug possession, theft by receiving a stolen firearm, per a report from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The outlet also reported authorities believe Young Thug oversaw alleged crimes staged by other members of the gang, including murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, carjacking and more. The rapper's attorney Brian Steel told CNN in a statement, "the response to any allegation is Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoeve​r and we will fight to my last drop of blood to clear him."

'Modern Family' star Ariel Winter details why she left Hollywood

Ariel Winter is latest Los Angeles explant. 

Earlier this year, the "Modern Family" star and her boyfriend, actor Luke Benward, decided to pack up their bags and leave Tinseltown — and they've not looked back.

"People have always been like, 'You don't like L.A., why don't you just move' … and then I just randomly looked and decided why not," she told former costar Julie Bowen on her "Quitters" podcast. "We sold our cars, got an Escalade to fit all the dogs for the drive, put my house on the market, sold my house."

Although the actress makes the move sound easy, that's far from the case. 

"It was hard for me to decide [to move] because I'm leaving everybody I know in California," she said. "It's a quick flight to California and I had to remind myself, if I don't like it, I can leave."

The actress didn't disclose where she and Luke moved because she values privacy and normalcy.

"Part of the reason I always hated L.A. was because I have been followed by paparazzi for a very long portion of my life, and I really, really dislike having my space invaded. I don't like pictures of me when I haven't signed up for pictures of me. I don't like feeling watched," she said. "I've always just wanted to live a normal life, just have a normal existence and I never really felt like I could do that in L.A.. Everywhere I went, someone's taking my picture. I'm just not that person. Fame and all that is not something I'm interested in. I just wanted to live as normal a life as I could."

With the paparazzi not a part of her daily life, Ariel gets to control her narrative. 

"I've never wanted everybody to know everything about my life. I'm not a particularly open person," she said. "I want to have privacy and I've never really had privacy to just live my life."

Eva Mendes hints at return to acting after 8 year hiatus

Eva Mendes has steered clear of the big screen since 2014, but she hasn't ruled out a return to acting. 

The actress appeared on "The View" on Tuesday, May 10, and spoke about the prospect of ending her Hollywood hiatus.

"I have such a short list of what I will do," Eva, 48, said. "Before kids, I mean, if it was a fun project — but now I won't do violence, I don't want to do sexuality; the list is short."

The mother-of-two's last film role came eight years ago in "The Lost River," which was written and directed by her husband, Ryan Gosling. If a special project comes around, Eva said she "hopes" to be considered. 

"I would like to [return to the movies,]" she said, but reiterated, "It has to be nice and clean."

A Disney project, she said, would be "perfect."

Not only did Eva take a break from Hollywood, but she also took a social media hiatus last year. 

"I started feeling really phony in it," she said. "I started seeing my day like, 'Is this a social media post? Is this a social media post?' I don't want to live like that."

Eva said she wanted to be more "genuine" on Instagram and not "seek" content.

'RHONJ' star Jennifer Aydin's massive diamond fell out of ring at party

Jennifer Aydin's bling went bye bye at her birthday party over the weekend. 

The "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star had a worrisome evening after realizing her massive diamond fell out of her ring from dancing at her 45th birthday celebration.

On Sunday, Jennifer posted a somewhat shocking photo to her Instagram Story in which her radiant-cut yellow stone was missing.

"On my way to the Venetian to look for my stone! Praying to St. Anthony," she wrote on Instagram, according to screen grabs. Not long after, the reality TV star posted a photo of the rock, which was apparently found on the floor.

"We found my diamond that fell out last night at my party! Came back to the Venetian this morning and it was on the floor- right smack in the middle of the dance floor!!!" she wrote on her Instagram Story.

According to Page Six, Jennifer's husband, Bill, gave her the ring in August 2020 in honor of the couple's 18th wedding anniversary.

After a "Housewives" fan site chronicled the missing diamond dilemma, Jennifer commented, "I prayed to St.Anthony! Thanks Be to God! It was a miracle."

Several fans assumed that Bill got the ring from Jennifer's brother, who is a jeweler. 

"Bill didn't get it from my brother- and it's never the jewelers fault- normal wear and tear, especially a ring on your finger ,where your hands bang everything, it's always a big possibility – and I was banging in those drums," she replied. 

After another person blamed Jennifer's brother, she called it "an ignorant comment."

Oscar-nominated actor James Cromwell superglues hand to Starbucks counter to protest milk up-charges

James Cromwell is lending a hand to those protesting Starbucks over its vegan milk up-charges. 

On Tuesday, May 10, the Oscar-nominated actor superglued his hand to the counter of a New York City Starbucks to bring attention to the issue. He was joined by members of PETA who are also fighting the coffee giant for charging more for vegan milk, but giving dairy milk away as a courtesy.

With his right hand unable to move, the "Succession" actor read from a statement and called the milk issue "senseless" and done for "greed."

James, who donned a "Free The Animals" shirt, argued that non-dairy milk alternatives such as soy, oat and almond are better for the planet and animals. 

"Your understanding and support of this is essential," he said while sitting on the counter as supporters flanked him.

Video of the incident shows Starbucks employees working and seemingly unfazed by the glue-in protest.

"My friends at PETA and I are calling on Starbucks to stop punishing kind and environmentally conscious customers for choosing plant milks," James said. "We all have a stake in the life-and-death matter of the climate catastrophe, and Starbucks should do its part by ending its vegan upcharge."

Many critics note that Starbucks doesn't charge for vegan milk in other countries.

About 16 minutes into the protest, police arrived. A police officer appeared to be flabbergasted after being told James and another man glued their hands to the counter. Most the supporters soon left the coffee shop upon police suggestion, but James and another man continued to be glued to the counter. The men eventually unglued themselves — while the store was temporarily closed — after being threatened with arrest. 

Starbucks' up-charging for vegan milk has caught the attention of others, as well. In March, Paul McCartney penned a letter to outgoing Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson asking for a change to the chain's policy on up-charging Americans for plant-based milks.

"My friends at PETA are campaigning for this to happen and I have agreed to support them with the quote: 'Sir Paul is asking Starbucks to end its surcharge on plant milks,' and I sincerely hope that for the future of the planet and animal welfare you are able to implement this policy," he wrote before signing off.

Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan join beautiful children in full family picture

Family first. 

Michael J. Fox isn't shy about posting images of his family to Instagram, but it's not all that often that the family is all together. On May 8, Michael and his wife Tracy Pollan were together again with their four children — Sam, 32, twins Aquinnah and Schuyler, 27, and Esmé, 20.

"Our children are beautiful, sensitive, intelligent, empathetic, independent, compassionate, adventurous, lovely people," the legendary actor penned, then joked to his wife, "That's your fault. We all love you so much. Happy Mother's Day."

Michael, Tracy and the kids try to get together as much as possible. Typically, Tracy will document the family reunions on Instagram, having done so in October 2021 when they got together for the 20th anniversary of the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Prior to that, the Foxes hadn't been together (at least online) since summer 2021. 

Michael and Tracy's kids have only really known the "Back To The Future" star during his battle with Parkinson's, as he was just 29 when he got his diagnosis.

"It was shocking when I was diagnosed. I was diagnosed completely out of the blue, unexpectedly," he told NPR in 2020. "I thought I had a sports injury, and I saw a neurologist at the recommendation of my physical therapist. And he very quickly and without much emotion pronounced I had Parkinson's and that I would – not to worry, I'd still be able to work for about 10 more years. And I was just – you said I was 29, so that was pretty shocking."

Michael's eldest son, though, never really focused on his dad's limitations.

"Growing up, it wasn't Dad who has Parkinson's disease. Dad was just Dad," he told the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Actor Joe Alwyn says his songwriting credits on girlfriend Taylor Swift's albums "folklore" and "evermore" were totally "accidental" and simply a product of being stuck at home during the coronavirus pandemic. The "Conversations With Friends" star was credited as William Bowery on five songs that ended up on the albums, including the title track of the Grammy-winning "folklore." "It was really the most accidental thing to happen in lockdown. It wasn't like, 'It's three o'clock, it's time to write a song!'" Joe recently told GQ Hype. "It was just messing around on a piano and singing badly and being overheard and then thinking, you know, what if we tried to get to the end of it together?" So they did just that — and with great success. The couple also worried that Joe's name on the songs would overshadow the music itself, so they went for a pseudonym. "The idea was that people would just listen to the music rather than focus on the fact that we wrote it together. It was fun to do together, and I was proud of it. It was nice getting such a positive reception," he recalled. Fast forward to the actual recording process and Joe found himself passing the music for "exile" on to Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, who sang it on the album. "Sending it to Justin with the idea of doing a duet and getting voice notes back of him singing over the top and stuff was surreal," Joe said, calling the experience "a perk of lockdown." Asked if a version of "exile" exists that features him singing, Joe joked, "Jesus, there's probably a voice note somewhere that should be burned." "Conversations with Friends" hits Hulu on May 15.

There's no truth to those split rumors that hit Adele and sports agent Rich Paul last week after the singer appeared to have spent her birthday without him. That's according to multiple People sources, including one who confirmed to the outlet this week that the couple stepped out for a meal together in Napa Valley on Sunday, May 8. "Adele is still seeing Rich," one source said. "They are both very busy though. She is working on her residency and Rich is busy with his clients. They see each other when they can." That could explain why Rich was photographed at a party in Miami with his friend and client, LeBron James, as Adele celebrated her 34th birthday on May 5 with a few friends and no sign of Rich. Adele and Rich, 40, were first linked as a couple in July 2021. "Rich just incredibly arrived," Adele recently told Vogue when asked about their relationship. 'The Wonder Years' star Fred Savage fired from ABC reboot after misconduct investigation

Fred Savage, who played Kevin Arnold in "The Wonder Years" from 1998 until 1993 before directing and producing the 2021 reboot of the family-friendly hit series, has been fired after a misconduct investigation. A rep for 20th Television confirmed the news in a statement to Entertainment Weekly published on Monday, May 9. "Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched," the spokesperson said. "Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of 'The Wonder Years.'" The "inappropriate conduct" allegedly "included verbal outbursts and inappropriate behavior," Deadline reported last week. Fred, 45, was also investigated following harassment allegations on the set of "The Grinder" back in 2018, when he was accused of assault, battery and gender discrimination. He denied the claims at the time and a Fox investigation later "found no evidence of any wrongdoing," according to EW. In 1993, "The Wonder Years" costume designer Monique Long filed suit against Fred and Jason Hervey, who played his brother on the show, claiming they "verbally and physically harassed her daily." The actors denied the allegations, as did others who worked on the set at the time. They ultimately settled out of court, according to a 2018 report from Pajiba.com.

The 2022 Tony Awards nominations were announced on Monday, May 9, ahead of next month's ceremony, capping off a season where "Broadway's back" became a rallying cry after years of pandemic-mandated shut downs. Hugh Jackman and his "Music Man" co-star Sutton Foster were among the stars who celebrated their nods with expressions of gratitude for being able to return to the stage at all after a difficult few years. "To be a part of the return of Broadway is a great privilege," said Hugh, who's up for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for "The Music Man," according to Deadline. Sherri Shepherd says she's "truly concerned" about Wendy Williams and doesn't mind that Wendy won't watch her forthcoming show, "Sherri," when it takes over the time slot Wendy's show held for years. During an Instagram Live chat with rapper Fat Joe over the weekend, Sherri was asked about Wendy's recent comments. "I did hear Wendy say she will not watch me on the new show. And that's OK. You know, I understand," she said, according to Page Six. "She's going through a lot," Sherri added. "I'm truly concerned for her." Sherri initially replaced Wendy only as a guest host while Wendy battled a number of health issues. In February, the production company Debmar-Mercury announced Sherri's takeover would be permanent. In addition to health problems, Wendy's been fighting with Wells-Fargo after the bank reportedly froze her assets.

John Travolta shared a moving tribute to his late wife, actress Kelly Preston, in honor of Mother's Day this year. In an Instagram video he captioned, "We love and miss you Kelly. Happy Mother's Day 💐❤️," the "Pulp Fiction" star shared a touching montage of photos from times throughout the 28 years of marriage they shared before Kelly lost her battle with cancer in July 2020. "Does that make me impossibly strange? I did [have a two-headed snake]. It's weird," he said, adding that he'd been "dreaming about two-headed eagles" at the time when an exotic pet dealer coincidentally reached out to his manager about the snake. He didn't hold onto the snake for long, though: The two heads "would fight" because "one head was more dominant than the other" and "it just got a little too freaky" for the actor, who ultimately donated the snake to the Audubon Zoo, where it lived for 14 years. These days, his only exotic pet is a talking African pied crow that lives in a 16-foot dome at his home in Las Vegas. Later in the wildly entertaining interview, Nic said he once donated $20K to a local orphanage after he won big playing roulette in the Bahamas. He also confirmed rumors he once attempted to buy a cave: "I had an interest in exploring all the elements," he launched into the story. "I got my [diving] certificate on the Great Barrier Reef — I explored the element of water. Air, I didn't really get as far as I wanted to — I wanted to be a hang glider, but it didn't happen. Fire, I felt like [with] 'Ghost Rider' I had explored the element of fire. Then I wanted to explore earth, and I thought, 'I want to start spelunking. I want to start exploring caves.'" That's when he learned a cave was on the market somewhere in North Dakota: "It was beautiful. … There were all these stalactites and all these milky quartz-like crystalline walls. At the time, I was married and I was like — it looked like nigori sake, unfiltered sake — 'I'd like to buy this and just go down to the bottom of the cave and get totally naked with my wife and drink nigori in the bottom of a cave in the earth,'" he said, drawing roars of laughter from the audience.

'Superstore' actress claps back at trolls critical of her remarkable weight loss

"Superstore" star Lauren Ash is unapologetic about her dramatic slim down, despite the "vitriol" that's come her way.

The actress took to Instagram to post an updated snap that shows her significantly smaller than she was just a year ago. It seems the weight loss isn't being welcomed by everyone. 

"You know what's fun? When you're living in a larger body, people post that they're concerned for your health. Then, when you transition into a smaller body, people post that they're concerned for your health," she wrote. "Starting to feel like there's no winning as a woman. (Big shocker given this past week in America.)"

Apparently Lauren's social media has been bombarded with negativity since the weight loss. 

"To the people who have DMed me this week telling me I'm no longer a role model because I lost weight, I guess my question is, why was my body the only thing that gave me value as a role model?," she penned. "I've never once promoted weight loss, nor would I ever. I just happen to be in a body that's smaller right now than it was a year ago. And god willing, if I'm privileged enough to walk this earth for a long life, my body will expand and contract and change many times over."

The 39-year-old didn't detail how many pounds she's shed, but insisted there's no "secret" to her weight loss. 

"I removed stress from my life. That's it. It's amazing what our bodies hold onto when in a prolonged state of stress," she said. 

Lauren noted that she will post photos of her body in whatever form it's in.

"I'm more confident and happier than ever before in my life and I enjoy commemorating that with fashion posts and all that fun stuff. If you don't like it, and it's upsetting to you, please unfollow and no need to inform me that you did," she said. "I honestly never expected the vitriol I've experienced over the past week simply because I've lost weight."

"You have no ownership over my body. Nor do you over any person in the public eye. And honestly? Would you ever tell a man he was no longer a role model because he lost weight? Exactly. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk," she said, before adding, "Also, I look hot AF in this pic and am unashamed."

On May 4, People magazine broke the news that Kat Graham is engaged to her boyfriend of about five years: TV director and producer Darren Genet, who once worked as a director of photography on "The Vampire Diaries," the show that made her a star. On the May 5 episode of "The Kardashians," Khloe Kardashian confirmed rumors from late last year that she and Tristan Thompson secretly reconciled around the time that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got engaged in mid-October 2021 — after the reality star and the professional basketball player faced multiple cheating scandals earlier in the year but before she learned he was expecting a child with another woman. "We're good. We're actually in a really good place. We just got back together. He's been going to therapy a lot. There's just been a lot of effort on his part," she said while explaining why Tristan was on hand when the blink-182 drummer proposed to her big sis. "When we broke up, I learned how well him and I got along and what good friends we are and what good partners we are, and I have a lot of hope and faith and optimism for our future together," she continued, according to Page Six, adding that things are "so fun" when they're together. Khloe reportedly dumped Tristan in June 2021 amid a flurry of reports he'd been unfaithful. If they were solid by October, it stands to reason they were still together when the news broke in December that he was expecting a baby with Maralee Nichols.

On May 2, Josh Brolin took to Instagram to reveal that his daughter, "Yellowstone" actress Eden Brolin, recently married her long-term boyfriend, actor-musician Cameron Crosby. According to People magazine, which published exclusive wedding photos, Joey Lawrence and "Insecure" actress Samantha Cope tied the knot at the Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, California, on May 1 following an eight-month engagement. "It just feels so right," said the "Blossom" and "Melissa & Joey" alum. "Life can be challenging at times, but when God gives you the right person, it's worth it. … When you meet the right person, if you're lucky enough, it cuts to the chase so quick. I have somebody who is like-minded and has the same love language and we communicate the same way. That's super important. And I am so thankful." John Mayer goes on funny mid-concert diatribe after fan invites him to hotel room

John Mayer stopped his concert mid-show over the weekend after a fan seemingly invited him to a hotel room. 

The pop star was on stage in Long Island on May 7 in the middle of his Sob Rock tour when he pointed out that someone made "a makeshift sign on their iPhone" that read "Room 2307."

"That's all it said. That's all the information I was supplied with," he added, according to Page Six.

The Grammy winner then had a whimsical take on the situation.

"In the back of my mind I was thinking I'd have to go to every local hotel — I'd assume it would be a hotel — knocking on the door of 2307 until I found the person who had the sign '2307,'" he said. "I'd say, 'Can I come in?' and you'd say, 'I guess so.' And then I'd walk inside the room and I would sit on a surface, and you would probably sit on a surface not all that close to me because again, you didn't expect that this would happen."

He further hypothesized, "And then I would just sit there and I'd go, 'Can I get a water?' 'Oh yeah, let me get you one.' And then it would be silence for like two minutes, and then you would say, 'I really didn't think that you were gonna show up.'"

John laughed that he loved "the awkwardness of it." He also encouraged the crowd gathered in the UBS Arena to join him in "looking after the show."

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa's son, 6, undergoes emergency surgery

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa's son was admitted to the hospital over the weekend, and he underwent emergency surgery.

Late on Sunday, May 8, Christina shared a snap of her 6-year-old son Brayden resting in a hospital bed after getting his appendix and a part of his small intestine removed.

"Scary 12 hours for us parents + step parents. After being admitted to the ER, Brayden had to have an emergency appendectomy as well as removal of Meckel's diverticulum early this morning. Nothing like seeing your child in excruciating pain," she said.

The "Flip or Flop" alum said Brayden is "in good spirits" and she relayed that the surgery went well.

"The entire staff at Mission Hospital was amazing and we are all grateful it was caught early," Christina continued. "Blessed to have 3 healthy + happy kids, caring family and friends and a husband who stands by my side. Happy Mother's Day everyone."

Christina's ex-husband Tarek also posted a photo of his recovering son. 

"It's been an interesting 24 hours. Last night we were at the CHOC Gala and this morning we were at CHOC hospital waiting for Brayden to get out of surgery," Tarek said. "He was extremely sick last night so Christina took him to the emergency room. It turns out it was the right call because he had to have his appendix removed and also we found out he has something rare called Meckel's diverticulum. Both issues were surgically removed and he's recovering overnight with his mom."

"He's such a strong boy and of course he told me he's very excited to eat real food tomorrow, he's obsessed with food just like his daddy❤️ very scary day, but we all banned together as a family to get through it," he continued. "Thank you to the amazing Doctors and nurses who took such incredible care of our boy."

After 100 days in NICU, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra bring daughter home

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra had a Mother's Day weekend for the books — they were finally able to bring their baby daughter home after more than three months in the newborn intensive care unit.

On Mother's Day, the "Quantico" actress posted an Instagram photo holding Malti Marie to her chest as Nick looked adoringly at the newborn. It's the first time the couple has publicly shared a photo of their daughter.

"On this Mother's Day we can't help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we've been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced," the could said in a  joint statement on social media on Sunday, May 8. "After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home."

Back in January, the couple announced they welcomed the little one via a surrogate, and the girl's name was revealed in April.

"Every family's journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is," the couple, who married in 2018, said. "We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children's La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way."

They added, "Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let's get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you."

Priyanka did break from the joint statement to address mothers who "make it look so easy." She also recognized her husband, writing, "There is no one I'd rather do this with than you."

Kailia Posey, who appeared on TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras" in 2012, died days after her 16th birthday, her mother announced on May 3. "I don't have words or any thoughts. A beautiful baby girl is gone," Marcy Posey Gatterma wrote on Facebook. DailyMail.com reported that the former reality TV star was found in a Washington state park, and later on May 3, her family confirmed her cause of death in a statement to TMZ. "Although she was an accomplished teenager with a bright future ahead of her, unfortunately in one impetuous moment, she made the rash decision to end her earthly life," they wrote. As a 6-year-old, a clip of Kailia flashing a grin was turned into a popular GIF that she and her mom often posted alongside funny phrases. Kailia had been preparing to compete in the Miss Washington Teen USA pageant and had just attended her prom when she died by suicide.

Arrival time

Say what you will about Tom Cruise, but the man knows how to make an entrance. Tom arrived at the "Top Gun: Maverick" world premiere on May 4 via a helicopter he piloted himself. Kim Kardashian went back in time for the Met Gala. On May 2, the reality TV star attended fashion's biggest night in New York City while wearing Marilyn Monroe's dress. This wasn't just any dress, though — it was the iconic dress Marilyn wore in 1962 while singing "Happy Birthday" to President John F. Kennedy. Kim said she lost 16 pounds in three weeks to fit into the $4.8 million gown, which was lent to her by the Ripley's Believe it or Not! Museum in Orlando, Florida. "I haven't had carbs or sugar in almost a month, definitely three weeks," she said on Instagram afterward, equating it to "preparing for a role." Some historians said Kim endangered the iconic dress and that she isn't worthy of wearing it, but Marilyn's estate said the late actress would have loved it.

SCOTUS leak reactions

Hollywood had some thoughts after a Supreme Court draft majority opinion on Roe v. Wade was leaked on May 2. In the preliminary opinion, which Chief Justice John Roberts confirmed was real, Justice Samuel A. Alito wrote that Roe v. Wade — the 1973 SCOTUS decision that made access to safe and legal abortion a constitutional right — would be struck down. After POLITICO received the draft, news of the leak and the bombshell decision reverberated across the country, including in the entertainment world. Olivia Rodrigo said, "Our bodies should never be in the hands of politicians." Howard Stern said the Supreme Court Justices should raise all unwanted children. Megyn Kelly and other conservatives were far more upset about the leak itself, not so much the contents of the draft opinion.

On-stage attack

Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage at the Hollywood Bowl during the Netflix is a Joke Festival on May 3. The man who went after the comedian allegedly had a knife attached to a replica handgun. Security and Dave's pals all rushed to his aid and took down the assailant, reportedly breaking this arm in the process. The attacker, 23, was initially jailed on a charge of felony assault with a deadly weapon, but the D.A. decided against felony charges. "As unfortunate and unsettling as the incident was, Chappelle went on with the show," Carla Sims, Chappelle's representative, said in a statement to CNN. "Jamie Foxx and Chris Rock helped calm the crowd with humor before Chappelle introduced the last and featured musical guests for the evening."

Case closed

The Kardashian-Jenner family was victorious in their defamation trial with Blac Chyna. On May 2, a jury sided with the famous family and awarded Rob Kardashian's fiancé no money after determining the KarJenners didn't defame her. Chyna had filed a $108 million civil lawsuit against the family in 2017, claiming they torpedoed the second season of the "Rob & Chyna" reality show after she and Rob broke up. She claimed she was headed for superstardom until the series, which had somewhat lackluster ratings, was axed. Chyna has vowed to appeal, but a GoFundMe page set up by her mom to help pay lawyer fees hasn't gained much, if any, traction. Her mom asked the public for $400,000.

Love lines

Kaley Cuoco has a new man in her life. On May 3, "The Flight Attendant" star and "Ozark" actor Tom Pelphrey revealed their new romance when both posted photos with each other on Instagram. Kaley shared a slideshow of images including this one with Tom while he posted pair of pictures of himself and the "Big Bang Theory" alum looking happy and loved up.

Bill Maher, Kevin Hart and more comedians react to Dave Chappelle's on-stage attack

This is no laughing matter. On May 3, Dave Chappelle was attacked by an armed man while performing on stage in Los Angeles. Luckily, Dave was unharmed and the man was arrested (and roughed up by Dave's crew.) But, in the wake of yet another high-profile on-stage attack (read: Will Smith at the Oscars,) several comedians are sounding off, as they're now fearful of what audience members might do.

Joe Rogan can't believe Dave Chappelle's attacker wasn't charged with a felony, especially considering he had a weapon. On Instagram, Joe wrote, "When you see that a person commits a clear crime, and does it to one of the most loved performers alive, and does it in a very high profile public setting, and it gets captured on video, and you don't charge that person for what they obviously did, it's the kind of thing that makes people lose faith in law enforcement. That's never good."

Kevin Hart had nothing but admiration for Dave Chappelle on the heels of the attack. He also felt that a message was sent to anyone who planned on interrupting a show. "Somebody getting their a** whipped sends a message out to other people that was like, 'You know, I was thinking about doing that, but seeing that, I don't really want to do that,'" Kevin said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live! on May 5. "I think that the world that we're in right now, there's a lot of lines that have gotten blurred, and sometimes you got to take a couple steps backwards to take some steps forwards." He noted, "Dave went back after and finished doing the show and didn't let that thing be a big thing. He quickly moved on from it and got back to doing comedy, and that's what a professional does. Ultimately, these moments of [un]professionalism should not break professionals. They shouldn't shape or mold the world that we're now being seen or viewed in. I think it's time to get back to a place of respect for your live entertainer."

"My biggest fear 40 years ago was not getting a laugh, and then cancel culture came along and then it was like, 'Oh, my God if somebody doesn't like your joke or you overstepped your line, you could lose your career,' and then after the Academy Awards … I said, 'Violence triggers violence,'" Howie Mandel told "Extra."

_

Jamie Foxx helped take down Dave Chappelle's attacker on May 3. At the end of the show, footage showed the "Ray" actor praising his pal. "Listen, I just want to say, this man is an absolute genius," Jamie said. "We've got to make sure we protect him at all times. For every comedian who comes out here, this means everything. You're a genius. You're a legend, I enjoyed myself thoroughly, and we're not going to let nothing happen to you."

Chris Rock — who was slapped on stage at the Oscars by Will Smith after making a joke at Jada Pinkett Smith's expense — was on hand during the Dave Chappelle incident. Trying to lighten the mood after the Tuesday night attack, Chris said, "Was that Will Smith?"

Heather McDonald is now offering police officers free front row tickets to her shows. "This was one of my predictions that I did not want to become true," she said on Instagram. "Any police officers that would like to attend my upcoming show in Napa on June 17, please DM me. I suggest other comedians offer to do the same." She told TMZ, "Unlike, Dave Chappelle, I travel alone and do not have private security or ten strapping male friends hanging out backstage when I perform."

"We're all still sort of adjusting and evaluating what happened around Will Smith. Do you remember for a couple of days no one really wanted to say that was wrong… At the time I was like, This is a bit weird because I really like Will Smith. He's lovely, but it can't be right to attack someone on stage," Russell Brand said in a lengthy YouTube reaction. "What is happening to our culture? We're in this continual state of fraught conflict and uncertainty with no principles to return to, no recourse to a set of shared values that we all know are basically correct." In condemning the violent acts against Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock, he said, "Increasingly it seems like the social function of comedians is to tell the truth, is to get into difficult spaces and explore the tensions that exist there. If we're going to see these figures shut down first online and then physically rushed on stage at concerts, how are we going to evolve out of this stage, because I'll tell you this, this phase of civilization isn't working and isn't going to work."

In discussing his upcoming show at Dodger's Stadium, Gabriel Iglesias spoke about staying safe, telling TMZ, "Because of the way we've been touring, we've already taking a lot of precautions. I have the best security detail. I have an awesome team in place of professionals. Someone jumped up on stage at my show in Seattle last week and they were taken down professionally before they even got to me."

It was inspired by first lady Mary Todd Lincoln's official dressmaker, Elizabeth Hobbs Keckley, the first Black female fashion designer in the White House. The star added a fascinator by Philip Treacy and a wild updo to complete the look.

Megan Thee Stallion arrived at the Met Gala in this striking golden gown by Moschino. The feather details along the top gave it almost an American eagle vibe and they deserve a closer look…

On any other red carpet we would have been wild about Kate Moss's tuxedo-inspired black gown. The off-the-shoulder detail and the thigh-high slit combined for a fabulous fashion take on traditional menswear. But on Met Gala night, the frock felt like a snoozefest.

Though it wasn't exactly the American Girl doll we wanted someone to embody, Lucy Boynton served up some porcelain toy realness in this sweet pale pink confection from Chanel. The frock included subtle silver embellishments on the short-sleeved bodice and a full tulle skirt and was even better upon closer inspection…

Vanessa Hudgens chose to go gothic in Moschino, interpreting "In America: An Anthology of Fashion" with this long-sleeved black design. The mostly sheer frock featured embellishments on the bodice and a cape-like detail that followed behind her. And though her black gown was mainly forgettable, her jewels certainly weren't…

Vanessa Hudgens rocked a smokey eye and an elaborate updo to complement her dark Moschino look, but it was her earrings that stole the show — dazzling diamond drop pieces that added some sparkle to her ensemble.

We knew this was Versace the second we laid eyes on it! Lily James embraced the shimmery part of the Gilded Age in this slinky Atelier Versace frock. With a one-shoulder detail, thigh-high slit and strategically placed embellishments in a stunning metallic shade, this one stood out amongst a sea of unimaginative ensembles.

If you're going to interpret "Gilded Glamour" with black, at least don't make it boring! Gemma Chan got the memo, rocking this structured Louis Vuitton look right from the runway, topping it with a shimmery bolero-style coat and finishing things off with strappy black sandals.

_

Though we were desperate for some color, or another take on gilded other than a black studded gown, Rachel Brosnahan's approach to the theme wasn't quite right either. Though we appreciated the all-over golden sequins, we weren't wild about her sleeveless Altuzarra frock with cut-outs at the waist or its train. Making things more puzzling? Her beauty look…

Oh, look! Another black dress! Not only that, but another semi-sheer black dress! This one was Louis Vuitton, worn by Phoebe Dynevor, and included a sleeveless silhouette with a ruffled peplum detail and entirely sheer skirt.

Thank you, Chloe Grace Moretz! The star served up a look that was the farthest thing from an LBD — a military-inspired Louis Vuitton ensemble that included an ornate coat with a high neck over top a cropped and ruffled blouse and wide-legged pants. Tying things together? Those silver pointy-toe Louis pumps.

It's not every day that Olivia Rodrigo serves up a fashion hit (no, really! It's so rare!), so her 2022 Met Gala look was a pleasant surprise. The singer tapped Atelier Versace to dress her for the big night and arrived rocking this slinky purple number with spaghetti straps and delicate off-the-shoulder sleeves. She added opera-length gloves (who, didn't?!) and matching purple pumps and very fun accessories in her hair…

Olivia Rodrigo sported two stunning purple butterflies in her hair, continuing with her purple theme. She also rocked purple eyeshadow. But before we finish talking about her pretty look, we've got to see that Versace dress one more time from another angle…

Mindy Kaling provided another pretty purple moment in this Prabal Gurung gown and matching pointy-toe pumps. The sleeveless confection included floral embellishments at the shoulders, a plunging neckline, a thigh-high slit and sashes that draped from her shoulders down to the floor.

_

We thought those embellishments looked familiar! Naomi Campbell sported Burberry at this year's Met Gala — her black frock featured the classic equestrian knight logo in sequins that complemented the sequined neckline. This take on gilded was at least fashionable, paying homage to the brand, and Naomi elevated it further with her beauty look choices…

_

_

Apparently, Camila Cabello's sleeveless white look by Prabal Gurung was meant to embody a modern day Gilded Age… but we don't really understand how that adheres to the theme. The top included a lace-up detail that transitioned down to connect to the skirt, which featured flowers along the inside of the ruffled fabric and culminated in a lengthy — and we mean lengthy! — train.

If anyone should really be on-theme, it's Anna Wintour. Unfortunately, the Vogue head honcho arrived in this snoozy Chanel number — complete with feathers and a pretty embellished column-style skirt that didn't scream anything overtly American.

_

We're not sure what La La Anthony was going for with this LaQuan Smith getup, but we weren't fans of any of it. From the cut-outs at the shoulders and hips to the thigh-high slit and strange headpiece (which we'll get a better view of next), this one was a miss for us.

_

Does anyone suddenly feel like going to Target? La La Anthony's headpiece included a bullseye design that reminded us of our favorite store.

On May 6, 2022, Benedict Cumberbatch finally returns to the big screen as Dr. Stephen Strange — our favorite neurosurgeon-turned-Master of the Mystic Arts — in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," the long-awaited sequel to 2016's "Doctor Strange." In honor of the latest installment in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe, Wonderwall.com is counting down our favorite heroes, sidekicks and antiheroes from the beloved superhero franchise. No. 55: Quicksilver/Pietro Maximoff

Aaron Taylor-Johnson's brooding Pietro Maximoff starts out as kind of a jerk but eventually redeems himself by saving Hawkeye during the Avengers' big showdown at the conclusion of 2015's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Unfortunately, he can't compete with Evan Peters' ridiculously fun version of the Quicksilver character in the "X-Men" franchise, which hit the big screen just weeks after Aaron made his debut in a cameo in an end-credits sequence in 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

No. 54: The Ancient One

Even though casting Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One in 2016's "Doctor Strange" drew quite a bit of criticism (in the comic book series, the character is portrayed as an older man of Tibetan descent), we loved the androgynous actress as the extremely powerful mystic. That might just be because we have so much lingering affection for the English actress, though…

No. 53: Agent 13/Sharon Carter

Our feelings here are complicated. On the one hand, we loved Sharon Carter — a S.H.I.E.L.D. operative known as Agent 13 who also happens to be Peggy Carter's great-niece — when she first made her debut in 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." But we weren't thrilled when she locked lips with Cap, her great-aunt's one true love, in 2016's "Captain America: Civil War." We were even less thrilled when we saw her villainous side on the 2021 Disney+ series "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier." We can only hope her true (non-villainous motives) have yet to be revealed.

No. 52: Agent Maria Hill

Meanwhile, we have only positive things to say about this female S.H.I.E.L.D. agent! Cobie Smulders made her debut as Agent Maria Hill — Nick Fury's right-hand woman — in 2012's "The Avengers." She's appeared in several more Marvel movies since then — she even had a three-episode stint on the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." TV show. Most recently, Maria played a central role in 2019's "Spider-Man: Far From Home." She'll return to the small screen on the upcoming Disney+ series "Secret Invasion" alongside Samuel L. Jackson's Agent Fury and Ben Mendelsohn's Talos — the shapeshifting Skrull general first seen in "Captain Marvel."

No. 51: Dr. Christine Palmer

One of our all-time favorite actresses, Rachel McAdams, starred as emergency surgeon Dr. Christine Palmer, Dr. Stephen Strange's former love, in 2016's "Doctor Strange." As far as love interests go, a stunning surgeon's not too shabby, right? (Christine is set to appear in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.")

No. 50: Heimdall

If we're being honest, the Asgardian warrior Heimdall, who made his debut in 2011's "Thor," is nothing special as far as supporting characters go — except for one important factor: He's portrayed by Idris Elba, one of our all-time favorite actors!

No. 49: Red Guardian/Alexei Shostakov

David Harbour starred as Alexei Shostakov — a super-soldier known as Red Guardian who's the KGB's answer to Captain America and also Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova's adoptive father — in 2021's "Black Widow." Now retired and horribly out of shape, the extremely egotistical former assassin provides some extra muscle — but mostly comedic relief! — as he reconnects with his adult "daughters" following years of estrangement. Please, MCU, bring him back for more!

No. 48: Kate Bishop

Hailee Steinfeld charmed as Kate Bishop — the protégée Clint Barton never knew he needed — on the 2021 Disney+ series "Hawkeye," which centers around the titular Avenger and his forced partnership with the skilled but trouble-prone young archer. What we love so much about Kate — who's idolized Hawkeye from the time she was a little girl — is that she's so relatable … aside from, you know, being ridiculously wealthy and skilled with a bow and arrow.

No. 47: Luis

No Marvel sidekick is more hilarious than Michael Peña's fast-talking Luis, Scott Lang's former cellmate who made his debut in 2015's "Ant-Man." He returned to the role in 2018's "Ant-Man and the Wasp" and was so hysterical, we missed entire scenes of dialogue from laughing too loudly!

No. 46: Mantis

Pom Klementieff debuted as Mantis, an absolutely adorable alien empath who teams up with the Guardians, in 2017's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." She's just such a sweetheart!

No. 45: Yelena Belova

Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff may have finally stepped into the spotlight in 2021's "Black Widow," but it was Florence Pugh as her adopted kid sister, the hilarious but equally skilled Widow Yelena Belova, who had everyone talking. We were overjoyed when she made a surprise appearance on the late 2021 Disney+ series "Hawkeye," and we can only hope it's just the beginning for this adorable assassin.

No. 44: Wong

Benedict Wong starred as Wong, a master of the mystic arts, in 2016's "Doctor Strange." What we love about this character is the way he was updated from a simple manservant in the comic books (a disgraceful racial stereotype) to a master in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Welcome to the future, y'all! (Wong — who popped up in 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" — is set to appear in "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.")

No. 43: Michelle "MJ" Jones

Zendaya stole every scene as Michelle "MJ" Jones in 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and its two sequels. We could not be more thrilled with the way the Marvel Cinematic Universe updated Peter Parker's love interest from the popular Mary Jane Watson, an aspiring actress, to the super-sarcastic intellectual loner MJ.

No. 42: Happy Hogan

Jon Favreau has portrayed Happy Hogan — Tony Stark's friend, chauffeur and bodyguard — since 2008's "Iron Man." Most recently, he appeared in 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" after picking up where Tony left off as an advisor to young Peter Parker. Over the years, we've watched him blossom from a valet to the head of security at Stark Industries as he's become more and more important to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We hope we haven't seen the last of him! (As a bonus, Jon also directed the first two "Iron Man" movies, making him even more vital to the MCU!)

No. 41: Darcy Lewis

Kat Dennings made her debut as Jane Foster's hilarious assistant Darcy Lewis — a former political science major who initially sucks at actual science stuff — in 2011's "Thor." Although she started out as simply comic relief, she really proved herself in 2013's "Thor: The Dark World." By the time she made a surprise appearance on the 2021 Disney+ series "WandaVision," she'd become a full-blown astrophysicist capable of unlocking the secrets of Wanda's hex all by herself.

No. 40: The Wasp/Hope van Dyne

Evangeline Lilly starred as the super-smart and strong-willed Hope van Dyne — who's WAY more qualified to wear the shrinking suit than Scott Lang — in 2015's "Ant-Man" and its sequel, during which she takes the lead in terms of butt-kicking.

No. 39: Yondu Udonta

Who could've guessed when he debuted in 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1" that Michael Rooker's exiled Ravager Yondu Udonta would become one of the most beloved father figures in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

No. 38: Pepper Potts

Gwyenth Paltrow's Pepper Potts kept Tony Stark in line (personally and professionally) starting with 2008's "Iron Man." She's smart, beautiful and doesn't take crap from anyone. But as far as the Avengers' love interests go, she has some tough competition…

No. 37: Jane Foster

Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, who made her debut in 2011's "Thor," is our favorite Avengers love interest by far. Why? Um, hello, she's an astrophysicist! Sadly, the brave, brilliant and beautiful scientist took a lengthy hiatus from the Marvel Cinematic Universe after 2013's "Thor: The Dark World" — aside from a brief appearance in 2019's "Avengers: Endgame." But we expect to love her even more after she becomes Lady Thor — who, according to the actress, will be known as The Mighty Thor — in "Thor: Love and Thunder," which is due in July 2022.

No. 36: Monica Rambeau

Teyonah Parris made her debut as S.W.O.R.D. agent Monica Rambeau on the 2021 Disney+ series "WandaVision." (Akira Akbar portrayed a younger version of the character — the daughter of Carol Danvers' best friend Maria Rambeau — in 2019's "Captain Marvel.") On the show, Monica gains the ability to manipulate energy after her cells are rewritten when she passes through a hex created by the Scarlet Witch. In the Marvel comics, she's adopted several superhero names including Pulsar, Photon and Spectrum. We can't wait to see what the Marvel Cinematic Universe does with her next!

No. 35 and No. 34: Sif and Valkyrie

We were all about Jaimie Alexander's Sif — an Asgardian warrior and childhood friend of Thor's who made her debut in 2011's "Thor" — until she got upstaged by Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie — a washed-up drunkard and the last surviving member of the all-female Valkyrior warriors — in 2017's "Thor: Ragnarok." Whether your No. 1 is Sif or Valkyrie, you have to admit: These Asgardian warrior women (Ragna)rock! (They're both set to appear in 2022's "Thor: Love and Thunder.")

No. 33: M'Baku

Winston Duke killed it as M'Baku, the ferocious but ultimately super-funny leader of the Jabari Tribe, in 2018's "Black Panther." He's so beloved by fans, some are calling for him to succeed T'Challa as the next king of Wakanda in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," which is due in late 2022.

No. 32: May Parker

Marisa Tomei made her debut as Peter Parker's Aunt May — a younger and hipper version of the character than we've seen in the past — in 2016's "Captain America: Civil War." While the MCU is chock-full of father figures, maternal surrogates are few and far between. That's why Aunt May will always mean so much to us — and why we'll miss her so dearly!

No. 31: Hawkeye/Clint Barton

Jeremy Renner debuted as Clint "Hawkeye" Barton, who's an expert with a bow and arrow, in 2011's "Thor." For years, he played a mostly supporting role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But things took a sudden shift when he revealed his secret family in 2015's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Through them — and through his deep friendship with Natasha — he revealed himself to be the secret heart of the Avengers. Overcome with grief after losing his family in the Blip, he becomes the katana-wielding vigilante Ronin … and also reveals himself to be a much more interesting character than we initially thought! Fans saw the toll his days as a non-powered hero took on his body on the charming late 2021 Disney+ series "Hawkeye," making him all the more inspiring.

No. 30: Drax the Destroyer

Dave Bautista broke our hearts (Ronan the Accuser murdered his wife and daughter) and then made us cry with laughter as the completely literal alien warrior Drax the Destroyer, who made his debut in 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1."

No. 29: War Machine/James "Rhodey" Rhodes

Don Cheadle took over the role of James "Rhodey" Rhodes, Tony Stark's friend and sidekick, in 2010's "Iron Man 2" after Terrence Howard walked away from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's been a joy to watch him blossom into War Machine — a true hero in his own right — over the years, and we can't wait to see him on the upcoming Disney+ series "Armor Wars."

No. 28: Nebula

Who's the greatest anti-heroine of the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Karen Gillan's Nebula, of course! The "Doctor Who" star first appeared as Gamora's adopted sister, whom the Scottish actress has described as a total sadist, in 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy." She started making moves toward redeeming herself in the 2017 sequel and took things even further in "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame." We now see her as one of the most complicated characters in the MCU: She's both unintentionally hilarious and completely tragic.

No. 27: Director Nick Fury

Samuel L. Jackson made his debut as S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury in an end-credits sequence in 2008's "Iron Man." He's the tough-talking leader you can't help but respect! After playing a supporting role in more than 10 Marvel movies — including 2019's "Captain Marvel," which depicted a younger, pre-eye patch version of the character — Nick will finally step into the spotlight on the upcoming Disney+ series "Secret Invasion." We can't wait!

No. 26: Agent Peggy Carter

Is it any wonder she won Cap's heart? Hayley Atwell made her debut as Peggy Carter in 2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger." The brilliant and beautiful British SSR officer was such a huge hit with Marvel fans, she scored her own TV series: the fantastic but short-lived "Agent Carter," which follows Peggy's efforts to fight Hydra in 1940s New York City and Los Angeles.

No. 25: Agent Phil Coulson

He's the heart of S.H.I.E.L.D., the glue that holds the Avengers together and our favorite Marvel father figure: Clark Gregg's Phil Coulson, who made his debut in 2008's "Iron Man." The character was so beloved, he scored his own TV spinoff ("Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") after getting killed off in 2012's "The Avengers."

No. 24: The Sorcerer Supreme/Dr. Stephen Strange

Benedict Cumberbatch debuted as Dr. Stephen Strange in 2016's "Doctor Strange." The world-class neurosurgeon becomes the Sorcerer Supreme, one of the most powerful (certainly the weirdest) member of the Avengers. And it's awesome! He and the Scarlet Witch are sure to make an unbeatable duo when they team up in 2022's "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."

No. 23: The Winter Solider/Bucky Barnes

Sebastian Stan has starred as Bucky Barnes, who eventually becomes the Winter Soldier, since 2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger." The bond of brotherhood between Bucky and Cap, his childhood best friend, is one of the greatest love stories in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! His dedication to his longtime pal carries over to the second Captain America, Sam Wilson, on their 2021 Disney+ series "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier," which depicts their complicated (and often hilarious) dynamic.

No. 22: Ant-Man/Scott Lang

Paul Rudd injected some much needed humor into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as ex-con Scott Lang, the titular hero in 2015's "Ant-Man" who'll do anything for his little girl. (He brought even more LOLs to the MCU in 2018's "Ant-Man and the Wasp.")

No. 21: Vision

Paul Bettany has been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe from the very beginning: first as the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S., Tony Stark's AI system stemming back to 2008's "Iron Man, and then as the powerful but naïve android Vision, who first appeared in 2015's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." (It was such a pleasure to see the English actor's face on the big screen after all those years!) We fell deeper in love with Vision when he appeared on the 2021 Disney+ series "WandaVision," during which on-screen love Wanda Maximoff reenvisioned their life together as the "American Dream" inspired by Hollywood sitcoms from different decades.

No. 20: Xu Shang-Chi

There's no doubt that Simu Liu's Xu Shang-Chi has some of the best martial arts skills of any character in the MCU. When he made his big debut in 2021's "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" — the first Marvel movie with a predominantly Asian cast — as an aimless valet under the pseudonym Shaun, he proved that he could land punchlines as well as punches.

No. 19: Gamora

Zoe Saldana made her debut as Gamora — the first female member of the Guardians of the Galaxy — in 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1." The former assassin betrays her adoptive father, Thanos, and later becomes a true hero on her quest to redeem herself for her past crimes. It's one of the best character arcs in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but sadly, that arc was undone when Thanos sacrificed Gamora on his quest to assemble the Infinity Gauntlet. Later, when a version of Thanos from the past travels forward in time in "Avengers: Endgame," he brings an alternate version of Gamora into the present with him. It remains to be seen what will become of this iteration of Gamora, who hasn't technically met her fellow Guardians yet. Meanwhile, she's got some competition where green-skinned heroes are concerned…

No. 18: The Hulk/Bruce Banner

The Hulk has changed hands so many times over the years, we haven't quite developed as much loyalty to him as to some of his peers. Eric Bana portrayed the naïve scientist Bruce Banner in 2003's "Hulk." Edward Norton gave us a dark, tortured version of the character in 2008's "The Incredible Hulk." And Mark Ruffalo (pictured) took over the role in 2012's "The Avengers," giving us the best iteration yet: a Hulk who's equal parts sweet, silly and savage.

No. 17, No. 16, No. 15 and No. 14: Okoye, Nakia, Shuri and Ramonda

How could we possibly choose a favorite from the foursome of remarkable women at the center of 2018's "Black Panther"? Danai Gurira knocked it out of the park as Okoye, the fierce leader of the Dora Milaje, an all-female unit of warriors and King T'Challa's personal bodyguards. Lupita Nyong'o killed it as Nakia, who would rather work undercover to free enslaved Nigerian women than sit on a throne. Angela Bassett was regal and wise as T'Challa's mother, Ramonda. And Letitia Wright stole every scene as Shuri, T'Challa's kid sister — who also happens to be the lead inventor and head of technology of the most advanced nation in the world and therefore the smartest person on Earth. Yeah, bow down.

No. 13: Star-Lord/Peter Quill

Chris Pratt made his debut as Peter Quill, who's nicknamed himself Star-Lord, in 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1." The actor has described the character as a combination of Han Solo and Marty McFly, who are basically two of the best characters ever. So, yeah, it's safe to say we love Star-Lord. Unfortunately, he's got some stiff competition when it comes to guys named Chris who star in Marvel movies…

No. 12: Spider-Man/Peter Parker

Tom Holland breathed new life into the role of Peter Parker, who made his debut in 2016's "Captain America: Civil War" before scoring his own film, 2017's "Spider-Man: Homecoming." After suffering through two super-dark Sony-produced Spider-Man movies with Andrew Garfield in the lead role, it was a welcome change! (Tom's Peter even helped Andrew's Spidey score some much-needed redemption with the widely beloved 2021 sequel "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which saw the two-time Oscar nominee sharing the screen with Tom and the original Peter Parker: Tobey Maguire.)

No. 11: Black Widow/Natasha Romanoff

Scarlett Johansson made her debut as the Black Widow — former KGB operative Natasha Romanoff, who's the first female member of the Avengers — in 2010's "Iron Man 2." She's super smart, super tough and super sexy. But she's not superhuman, which makes the fact that she can keep up with the boys all the more impressive! She finally stepped into the spotlight when her eponymous standalone film debuted in 2021.

No. 10: Loki

Has there ever been an antihero more delicious than Tom Hiddleston's Loki? The God of Mischief and Lies, who made his debut in 2011's "Thor," has stabbed his adopted brother in the back more times than we can count, and yet we somehow can't help rooting for him. That's what we call charisma! We were equally invested in his misadventures in his eponymous Disney+ series, which debuted in 2021.

No. 9: Thor

The luscious locks! The bulging biceps! The unintentional hilarity! What's not to love about Chris Hemsworth's Thor? The warrior and heir to the throne of Asgard made his debut in 2011's "Thor."

No. 8: Captain Marvel/Vers/Carol Danvers

Brie Larson starred as the Kree warrior Vers — who's actually former Air Force fighter pilot Carol Danvers — in 2019's "Captain Marvel," the first Marvel movie centered around a female character. And boy was she worth the wait! She's brave, bold, brash, beautiful and, oh yeah, one of the most powerful individuals in the universe — second only, perhaps, to another female hero…

No. 7: Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff

The Marvel Cinematic Universe was seriously sleeping on Wanda Maximoff! Elizabeth Olsen made her debut as the Scarlet Witch in an end-credits sequence in 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." After kicking things off as a villain in 2015's "Avengers: Age of Ultron," she flew under the radar for years as she struggled to control her powers while grieving the loss of her twin brother, Pietro. That struggle continued in the lauded 2021 Disney+ series "WandaVision," which saw the underutilized superhero finally stepping into the spotlight. It was then we realized she's actually one of the most complex and rich characters in the MCU. And the most powerful. In fact, there's a reason why she had to fly under the radar all those years: If she had full control of her powers when the Avengers first faced Thanos, she could've taken him down with a simple snap of her own … without the Infinity Gauntlet.

No. 6: The Falcon/Captain America II/Sam Wilson

Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson made his debut in 2014's "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." When we first met him, the former U.S. Air Force Pararescueman wasn't just smoking hot, he'd also dedicated his life to helping others, counseling veterans suffering from PTSD through the VA. He later puts his life on the line over and over again to help Cap as the Falcon — even though he doesn't have superhuman strength, regenerative healing abilities or any other powers. It's no wonder he's the only one Cap trusts with his legacy. We fell even deeper in love with Sam when he took up the shield and accepted the Captain America mantle on the 2021 Disney+ series "The Falcon and The Winter Soldier." No one deserves it more!

No. 5 and No. 4: Rocket and Groot

Rocket, a genetically modified raccoon (the voice of Bradley Cooper), and Groot, a humanoid alien tree (the voice of Vin Diesel), are the cutest platonic couple in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! The adorable but deadly duo made their debut in 2014's "Guardians of the Galaxy" and quickly became favorites for fans of all ages. Don't you just want to hug them?!

No. 3: Black Panther/King T'Challa

Long live the king! The late, great Chadwick Boseman broke barriers and made history as Wakanda's King T'Challa, the ruler and protector of the most advanced nation on the planet. He appeared in 2016's "Captain America: Civil War" before scoring his own spinoff, 2018's "Black Panther," which is now one of the most successful movies in cinema history. We'll never stop missing him.

No. 2: Iron Man/Tony Stark

We wouldn't have the Marvel Cinematic Universe — which kicked off in 2008 with "Iron Man" — without Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark. (The two-time Oscar nominee took on the role in 10 different films.) We didn't always agree with the billionaire industrialist, inventor and former weapons manufacturer, but no character in the MCU had a greater transformation than the former playboy, who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect the ones he loves in "Avengers: Endgame." Tony, we love you 3,000.

No. 1: Captain America/Steve Rogers

Our deepest apologies to Tony Stark, but we'll always be Team Cap… Chris Evans' Steve Rogers, who made his debut in 2011's "Captain America: The First Avenger," is our favorite member of the Avengers — and not just because of his gorgeous, genetically enhanced appearance. Unlike his peers, the former wimp and scrawny Boy Scout actively chose to sacrifice his personal life to serve the greater good. (No lab accidents here!) You'll be hard-pressed to find a more loyal member of the team, whether to his country or to his childhood BFF — remember, he gave up everything to protect Bucky — and became an international fugitive in the process.

It's hard to believe it's already been 20 years since we first paid witness to *that* iconic upside-down kiss! Tobey Maguire paved the way for more movies to come with his nerdy but ever-endearing portrayal of Peter Parker in "Spider-Man," the first installment in Sam Raimi's Spidey trilogy. To celebrate the film's 20th anniversary on May 3, 2022, Wonderwall.com is checking in on the actors and actresses who starred in the live-action take on the Marvel comic book superhero!

Tobey Maguire portrayed the titular New York City born and bred superhero, Spider-Man, and his bookish, socially awkward alter ego, Peter Parker.

What's Tobey Maguire been up to since his tenure as the web-slinging superhero? He landed starring roles in notable films including "Brothers," Baz Luhrmann's Academy Award-winning romantic drama "The Great Gatsby" and "Labor Day." In 2021, fans received a healthy, long-awaited dose of nostalgia when Tobey reprised his dual role of Spider-Man and Peter Parker (alongside later Spideys Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland) in 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home." Tobey shares two children with ex Jennifer Meyer, whom he married in 2007 and split from in 2016.

James Franco took on the role of Harry Osborn, Peter's affluent best friend who's also the boyfriend of the girl Peter's secretly in love with, MJ Watson.

Following Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man" trilogy, James Franco starred in notable films including "Pineapple Express" with then-frequent collaborator Seth Rogan, "127 Hours" — for which he received a best actor nod at the 2011 Oscars — "Spring Breakers," "Palo Alto," "The Disaster Artist" — for which he earned a best actor Golden Globe — and many more. He wasn't a stranger to the small screen either, having landed recurring and starring roles on "General Hospital," "11.22.63" and "The Deuce." He's also faced controversy: Some of the students at James's now-defunct film and acting school in 2018 accused him of inappropriate and sexually exploitative behavior and in 2019, two former students filed lawsuits. He stepped back from the spotlight and in 2021 reached a settlement for $2.2 million. He's been in a relationship with Isabel Pakzad since 2017.

Kirsten Dunst played Mary Jane "MJ" Watson, Harry's girlfriend and Peter's longtime crush who's saved by Spider-Man on more than one occasion!

Kirsten Dunst, who was already a bona fide star when the first installment of the "Spider-Man" series hit theaters, has since appeared in a slew of films including "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "Marie Antoinette," "Hidden Figures" and "The Beguiled." She also landed starring roles on the critically acclaimed series "Fargo" and "On Becoming a God in Central Florida" — both of which earned her best actress nods at the Golden Globes. In 2022, she earned her first Academy Award nomination for her performance in "The Power of the Dog." The former child star dated a few famous men after her SPidey days — Jake Gyllenhaal from 2002 to 2004, Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell in 2007 and her "On the Road" co-star Garrett Hedlund from 2012 to 2016 before falling for "Fargo" co-star Jesse Plemons. They got engaged in 2017 and have since welcomed two sons.

Willem Dafoe portrayed Oscorp CEO Norman Osborn, the father of Peter's best friend, Harry. After being exposed to a dangerous serum, Norman develops an alternate, villainous personality: the Green Goblin.

Following his terrifying portrayal as the maniacal Green Goblin — a role he excitingly reprised in 2021's "Spider-Man: No Way Home" — Willem Dafoe delivered performances that garnered critical praise in films like "John Wick," "The Grand Budapest Hotel," "The Florida Project" (for which he received his third Oscar nod for best supporting actor), "The Lighthouse," "The French Dispatch" and "Nightmare Alley." More recently, he starred in Robert Eggers' epic 2022 historical drama "The Northman." Willem, who shares son Jack with director Elizabeth LeCompte, has been married to Italian actress, director and screenwriter Giada Colagrande since 2005.

J.K. Simmons took on the role of J. Jonah Jameson, the ill-tempered publisher of the Daily Bugle — the newspaper that villainizes Spider-Man.

In 2007, the same year "Spider-Man 3" hit theaters, J.K. Simmons landed a supporting role as the reliable and well-intentioned father in the Oscar-winning coming-of-age flick "Juno." Pete Davidson targets Kanye West in new stand-up material

For months, Pete Davidson kept quiet as his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian's ex, Kanye West, attacked him in music videos and on social media. Now, he's hitting back — with comedy. In a recent stand-up set during the "Netflix Is a Joke: The Festival," the "Saturday Night Live" star found plenty of joke fodder in Kanye's past aggressions, according to TMZ. "Does anybody else secretly hope that, like, Kanye pulls like a 'Mrs. Doubtfire?'" he said at one point in the set, referencing the 1993 Robin Williams comedy where a divorced actor pretends to be an older, female maid so he can visit his kids. "I come home one day and they're like, this is the new housekeeper. And, he's like, 'What's up fam?'" Pete cracked. He later riffed on reports Kanye once spread a rumor that he had AIDS, saying fellow comic John Mulaney advised him to retaliate by telling people 'Ye has polio. Pete, 28, was first spotted looking cozy with Kim, 41, in October 2021. Kim filed for divorce from Kanye earlier that year.

Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock trade jokes about Hollywood Bowl attack, Oscars slap

Days after he was attacked onstage at the Hollywood Bowl, Dave Chappelle performed at a "secret show" at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 5, where he was joined for much of the set by a comic with plenty of experience in the onstage-assault department — Chris Rock. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dave had only been onstage for about 10 minutes when he brought up the May 3 attack. As he listed the names of famous folks who've reached out to him since the scary run-in, telling the crowd, "a lot of people love me, it turns out," Chris suddenly appeared onstage and sat down beside Dave on a stool. "At least you got smacked by someone of repute!" Dave joked to Chris, who was famously slapped by Will Smith while presenting an Academy Award at the 2022 Oscars. "I got smacked by a homeless guy with leaves in his hair." Laughing, Chris corrected him, dubbing Will "the softest [N-word] that ever rapped. Dave also revealed that after the incident, he talked the Hollywood Bowl's security into letting him go into the room where they were holding the man charged with attacking him, 23-year-old Isaiah Lee. "I needed to talk to him," Dave explained. He then recounted asking Isaiah why he charged at him. Isaiah, who Dave said appeared to be mentally ill, according to THR, told the comic his grandmother had been "forced out of her neighborhood" in Brooklyn by gentrification and he wanted to draw attention to what she was dealing with. Earlier on Thursday, Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer announced, "My office has filed charges [against Isaiah] alleging battery, possession of a weapon with the intent to assault, and charges relating to interfering with a performance." Dave was not injured in the attack and the man was reportedly carrying "a replica handgun with a knife," according to People. Both factors contributed to the charges being bumped down to misdemeanors.

Madonna wants to meet with Pope Francis 'to discuss important matters' … like why she was excommunicated

Madonna would like a meeting with Pope Francis "to discuss some important matters." Namely: the Catholic Church's habit of excommunicating her. The "Like a Prayer" singer checked in with the religious leader on Twitter earlier this week, writing, "Hello @Pontifex Francis —I'm a good Catholic. I Swear! I mean I don't Swear! Its been a few decades since my last confession. Would it be possible to meet up one day to discuss some important matters ?" Apparently, those matters have nothing to do with the pontiff's recent surgery, his request to meet with Vladimir Putin about finding an end to Russia's war in Ukraine or various other things Pope Francis currently has on his holy plate. "I've been ex communicated 3 times," Madonna explained. "It doesn't seem fair." She signed her tweet, "Sincerely Madonna." Raised Catholic, Madonna has long used religious symbols and references in her music — often, to the church's disapproval. After a 2006 performance in Rome that featured her staged crucifixion, "Cardinal Ersilio Tonini spoke with the approval of Pope Benedict XVI," according to Page Six, when he called the performance "blasphemous" and accused her of "open hostility" for the sake of "publicity." As for that meeting — no word back from Pope Francis, as of Friday, May 6.

Adele celebrated her 34th birthday on Thursday, May 5, with a look back at the past year and a nod to the future. "What a difference a year makes! If time keeps healing and smoothing out all the creases in my life like it does as the years fly by, then I can't wait to be 60!" the singer wrote on Instagram, sharing two stunning, makeup-free photos of herself in a sparkly, black minidress with puff sleeves. "I've never been happier!" she continued. "So many lessons, so many blessings to be grateful for. This is 34, and I love it here! Thank you for the birthday love as always x." According to Page Six, a few of Adele's friends shared photos on their Instagram Stories that showed the singer at "a low-key pajama party." One person who did not seem to be at her side for the big day, however, was sports agent Rich Paul, who Adele was first linked to in July 2021 before the pair made their relationship IG-official. Photos published by Page Six show Rich partying in Miami on Thursday with his client and friend, LeBron James. The two were rumored to have a hit a rough patch earlier this year.

Jennifer Grey reveals she initially didn't want Patrick Swayze to be cast in 'Dirty Dancing'

It's hard to imagine "Dirty Dancing" without Patrick Swayze as the uber-hunky dance instructor, Johnny Castle. But there was a time when Jennifer Grey hoped someone else would land the role opposite her character, Frances "Baby" Houseman, who falls for Johnny while vacationing in the Catskills with her family. The actress, 62, has been reflecting on her life and career while promoting her new memoir, "Out of the Corner," and during during an appearance this week on "The View," she admitted her relationship with Patrick got off to a rocky start. The two had co-starred in the 1984 action flick "Red Dawn." "Patrick was playing pranks on me and everybody," Jennifer recalled on "The View." "It was just, like, macho, and I just couldn't take it. I was just like, 'Please … this guy! That's enough with him.'" Her feelings didn't change until their screen test. "He pulled me down the hall and said to me, 'I love you, I love you, and I'm so sorry. And I know you don't want me to do the movie,'" she continued. "And he got the tears in his eyes. And I got the tears in my eyes — not for the same reason. I was like, 'Oh, this guy's working me.' And he goes, 'We could kill it — we could kill it if we did this.'" In a new teaser for Season 4 of David Letterman's "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" published by People, Dave visits Ryan at the home he shares with Blake and their daughters, James, 7, Inez, 5, and Betty, 2. The clip shows Dave and Ryan standing over an array of bowls of food. "You feed the crew," Dave says, sounding impressed. "Blake, full disclosure, really showed me how to do all this," Ryan admits. When Dave asks, "Who runs the show here?" Ryan quickly replies that it's not him. "Blake runs the show, I would kind of really phone things in if it wasn't for her," he jokes. Asked if "anxiety would set in" if Blake announced she was going to visit family for a few weeks and expected Ryan to handle all parenting duties for their three kids, Ryan looks briefly stunned. "I would, first off, never let her go visit her family," he jokes. "If I was just with the girls, I think I would find it pretty exciting … at first," he continues. Sad news broke on April 30, 2022: Naomi Judd — one-half of singing duo The Judds — is dead at 76. Her family announced that they'd lost the Grammy-winning music icon to "the disease of mental illness." Stars from the country music world, Broadway and Hollywood reacted to her death, taking to Twitter and Instagram to share their condolences. Billy Ray Cyrus, who is seen with Naomi and fellow country music star Randy Travis in 1996, wrote: "So sad at the loss of my friend and music legend @thenaomijudd. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. As a fellow Kentuckian my hats off in honor of the legacy of music she shared with the world and the doors she opened for so many others like me."
