Howie Mandel passes out at Starbucks, rushed to hospital

Howie Mandel reportedly passed out while snagging coffee at his local Starbucks and had to be taken away by ambulance.

TMZ reported that the "America's Got Talent" judge was with his wife and friends at the Woodland Hills, California, coffee shop on Oct. 13 when he simply fainted and fell over. He was quickly placed on a cement bench.

Photos posted by the webloid show Howie alert and sitting upright while being tended to by Los Angeles paramedics. The comedian was then taken via ambulance to a nearby hospital.

Howie apparently frequents that particular Starbucks and is known there.

While doctors are performing tests at the hospital, sources close to the funnyman believe he passed out from low blood sugar.

One day before the medical incident, Howie appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and appeared to be in fine health.

Owen Wilson has never met his 3-year-old daughter, mother claims

Owen Wilson often speaks about his two sons, but he also has a daughter that he's never met or had any contact with, the mother of the girl says.

"He has never met her unfortunately," Varunie Vongsvirates told DailyMail.com of daughter Lyla Aranya Wilson.

David Fisher/Shutterstock

Owen, 52, and Varunie casually dated for five years, but he was not by her side when she gave birth.

Not long after Lyla's birth, a paternity test confirmed the "Cars" actor was indeed the father of the child, multiple reports said. Shortly after, Us Weekly claimed Owen "checked the no visitation box" in court and didn't want "any custody of her."

While Varunie often posts images of Owen's look-alike daughter, she never references the "Wedding Crashers" star.

"Happy 3rd birthday to my wild child! I love you so much!!!!" the proud mom captioned a sweet photo of Lyla on Oct. 9.

Back in 2019, Varunie insisted that she "begged" Owen to get involved in Lyla's life, but he refused.

"He helps financially but it's never been about that," she told the Daily Mail two years ago. "Lyla needs a father. It's ironic how [Owen] keeps getting these father roles… and he's never met his own daughter."

Interestingly, Owen also has no trouble gushing about his sons, Robert Ford, 10, and Finn, 7, both of whom have different mothers.

Back in 2017, he spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about fatherhood.

"It's unbelievable. I mean, anything Ford says is just, like, the funniest thing ever, and I can make and joke and it's, like, crickets. It's like nothing from those guys," he said. "I'm already sort of seeing how they're gonna be as teenagers, where they're gonna be sort of be ganging up on me."

He's also referenced the boys in many other interviews, and the paparazzi often capture Owen with them.

Dean Cain rips DC Comics for having Superman come out as bisexual

Dean Cain finds nothing "brave" about Superman coming out as bisexual.

The actor, who played Superman on "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" for four seasons, ripped DC Comics for having the Jon Kent version of the superhero join the LGBTQ community.

AFF-USA/Shutterstock

"They said it's a bold new direction, I say they're bandwagoning," Dean told "Fox & Friends" this week. "Robin just came out as bi — who's really shocked about that one? The new Captain America is gay. My daughter in 'Supergirl,' where I played the father, was gay. So I don't think it's bold or brave or some crazy new direction."

He added: "If they had done this 20 years ago, perhaps that would be bold or brave."

Earlier this week, DC announced that Louis Lane and Clark Kent's son is beginning a relationship with a male reporter.

"Brave would be having him fighting for the rights of gay people in Iran where they'll throw you off a building for the offense of being gay," Dean said. "They're talking about having him fight climate change and the deportation of refugees and he's dating a hacktivist — whatever a hactivist is. Why don't they have him fight the injustices that created the refugees whose deportation he's protesting? That would be brave, I'd read that."

Following Dean's comments, several Hollywood names chided the outspoken conservative.

"If Dean Cain wants me to stop being mean to him on Twitter he shouldn't make it so easy," Tom Arnold tweeted.

"Midnight Mass" actor Rahul Kohli wrote, "Who is he to judge what's bold? Does he speak for the millions of LGBTQIA youth that feel represented by Jon Kent? He is not the voice of that community, it's none of his business."

"You don't get to decide if *this* or *that* representation in film/tv/books is lazy/forced/unnecessary," Rahul later added. "That's where you shut the f*** up and listen to how the community feels about their character. You have no idea how much it means to them so hush."

'Swinger' couple returns Molly Shannon's phone after finding it in taxi

Molly Shannon can again reach out and touch someone thanks to a couple of "swingers."

The former "Saturday Night Live" star explained in a viral TikTok video that she lost her phone while in a New York City cab over the weekend. Naturally, she panicked and did everything she could think of to try and retrieve it, including calling it.

It just so happened that a good samaritan named Vincent Zurzolo picked it up.

"We pick it up and eventually find out whose phone it is," Vincent said in the beginning of the video before Molly is shown. "We get a phone call from someone who's very nervous that they've lost their phone, and look whose phone it is!"

The camera then panned to the happy actress.

"This has never happened to me because I am very reliable with my phone, but it must have slipped out of my purse, and I was panicked," Molly explained. "I got back to my hotel, and I did the 'Find my iPhone,' and I'm seeing my phone on like 33rd St., and I'm like, 'I'm never gonna get it back.'"

With the help of her hotel, Molly called her own phone.

"Vincent was so kind to pick up and I got my phone back from Vincent and Josephine, and I said, 'It's very serendipitous that we all meet, so there's some reason for it,'" Molly continued.

Vincent then chimed in, joking, "Then I let her know we are swingers and she is staying the night."

Molly, who appears to be standing in the couple's home, hilariously added, "It all worked out. Happy Sunday!"

Tyga arrested on domestic violence charges, posts $50k bail

Tyga is out on bail after turning himself in to authorities following a domestic violence claim from his ex-girlfriend.

The rapper was arrested for felony domestic violence on Oct. 12 after Camaryn Swanson accused him of beating her up the previous day, TMZ reported. The arrest came one day after she posted a video and photo of injuries she claimed she sustained on Monday morning at the hands of Tyga. Camaryn appeared to have injuries on her arms and face.

Saira MacLeod/Shutterstock

"I'm so embarrassed and ashamed it had to get to this but I have to stand up for myself," she captioned the video posted to her Instagram Story. Prior to that, she said, "I've been emotionally, mentally and physically abused and I'm not hiding it anymore."

There are differing accounts of what happened. A pro-Tyga source alleged that Camaryn came to the rapper's home uninvited at 3 a.m. and caused a disturbance. However, Camaryn posted text messages purported to be from the "Rack City" rapper that refute that claim. In fact, Tyga even sent a car to pick her up, the messages appear to show. Then, she alleged that he roughed her up and refused to let her leave "for hours."

"I can't believe this is how it has to end," she supposedly texted Tyga. "Honestly I'm so heartbroken and I didn't think you were capable to ever do this to me."

ALEXJR / BACKGRID

Police reportedly tried to speak to Kylie Jenner's ex at his house on Oct. 11 after Camaryn claimed violence, but he refused. He also remained silent when paparazzi crews questioned him about the alleged incident while arriving and leaving a police station in Los Angeles.

Tyga's bail had been set at $50,000.

The rapper and Camaryn reportedly began dating in early 2021.

Adam Lambert returns to 'Idol' stage after 12 years

Adam Lambert has returned to the where it all began, but this time with more authority.

Ken McKay/ITV/Shutterstock

On Oct. 13, E!'s new series called "Clash of the Cover Bands" premieres, and Adam is a judge. The reality competition was actually filmed on the same stage where "American Idol" was shot back when Adam was a contestant during season 8 in 2009.

"It was so crazy because we filmed this show on the same exact stage and studio as 'American Idol,'" the 39-year-old told E!. "So walking backstage into the studio every day was just so surreal. That was what, 12 years ago? That's where everything started for me."

Back in 2009, Adam finished as the runner-up to Kris Allen, but you could certainly argue the Queen frontman has had a more prolific post-Idol career.

"That was very cool. I enjoyed that full circle," he said of being back on that particular stage. "And it made me keep in mind that when you get up on stage and you perform and you give it your all and you're putting yourself out there to be commented on by three people at a desk in front of you, it's not always the easiest thing."

Rob Latour/Shutterstock

Despite now being a judge, Adam is bringing that "Idol" experience with him when critiquing the performers.

"It's tricky and it takes a lot of bravery," he said of performing before a judging panel of pros. "I definitely kept all that in mind when I was talking to the different performers and tried to be constructive and yet sensitive to the journey. I think everything was really a good sport."

Smash Mouth singer retires after chaotic weekend concert

Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell has decide to retire after an incredibly chaotic weekend concert in New York during which he slurred his speech, threatened to kill a fan's family and even appeared to give a Nazi salute.

Larry Marano/Shutterstock

On Oct. 12, the singer told TMZ that his health issues have become too hard to overcome. Although he had been planning on taking a hiatus, he's now pulled the plug.

Steve had fronted the band since its inception in 1994.

"Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of being a Rockstar performing in front of sold-out arenas and have been so fortunate to live out that dream," he said. "To my bandmates, it's been an honor performing with you all these years and I can't think of anyone else I would have rather gone on this wild journey with."

Steve, 54, continued, "To our loyal and amazing fans, thank you, all of this was possible because of you. I've tried so hard to power through my physical and mental health issues, and to play in front of you one last time, but I just wasn't able to."

Invision/AP/Shutterstock

Steve's health issues first came to light last year year when his ex-fiancée slapped him with a restraining order and claimed he was bipolar in court documents — something he had never publicly addressed. TMZ reported on Tuesday that Steve was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy eight years ago, which led to other medical setbacks like heart failure and Wernicke's encephalopathy, a condition that affects motor functions. In the aforementioned court documents, his ex claimed Steve also when to rehab for substance abuse issues.

A viral recording of the concert — which went down at a beer and wine festival — clearly showed him drinking, dissociated and seemingly unaware of his surroundings at times.

Steve said he was grateful for the decades of success and to "those who have kept 'All Star' relevant as one of the top memes on the internet today."

"I cannot wait to see what Smash Mouth accomplishes next," he continued, "and am looking forward to counting myself as one of the band's newest fans."

Twitter has some thoughts about Tom Cruise's 'different' face

What happened to Tom Cruise? That was the question on Twitter's mind after the actor was shown in the stands at Game 2 of the MLB National League Division Series in San Francisco over the weekend.

While sitting next to son Connor Cruise, the A-lister smiled for the TV camera. Within minutes, social media began talking about Tom's look, and many speculated that he had plastic surgery due to the "Mission: Impossible" actor's puffier-than-usual face. He just looked, you know, "different," people argued.

Jeff Chiu/AP/Shutterstock

"Tom Cruise has either gained weight, or he has a face full of fillers. I'm going with the fillers," one person wrote. Another said, "What's up with the bloated chipmunk cheeks?" A third said, "What he do to his face, same doctor as Wayne Newton?"

Some wondered if he was having an allergic reaction, and others firmly believed that it was a Tom Cruise impersonator (perhaps ignoring the fact that Connor Cruise was sitting next to him).

As the pile-on continued, a throng of Twitter users backed Tom and claimed he's simply aging.

"Listen i don't like tom cruise at all (AT ALL), but i'm seriously sick of twitter trashing people for their weight fluctuations. people are allowed to gain and lose weight, and it's really nunya!!! stop being fatphobic!" someone tweeted.

Another said, "Tom Cruise putting some weight on in his face because he's prob not filming a movie requiring him to be in not-human shape and getting memed all over for it feels awfully yucky to me."

"He still looks great for his age. He's almost 60 for Pete's sake," another maintained.

Tim McGraw forgets lyrics, jumps off stage to confront heckler at concert

Tim McGraw had about enough of at least one fan who reportedly heckled and booed him for forgetting lyrics during a recent concert.

On Oct. 12, TMZ posted video from a Reno, Nevada, concert that showed the singer performing "Where The Green Grass Grows." He seemed to wave off the criticism initially, but something happened that stopped Tim, as he stopped singing. He then stood straight up and looked menacingly at the heckler, even encouraging the person to come closer in a confrontational manner. Tim then went into the crowd and appeared to be held back by security and other fans, all while jawing at the person.

It's unclear what exactly he said, but things were certainly tense. Not everyone was backing Tim, as fans could be heard yelling at him to just continue the show.

At some point during the concert, Tim also encouraged someone to leave, although it's unclear if that was that same person the country music icon went after in the crowd.

The webloid said fans first noticed something amiss when Tim had a lyrical lapse during "Just to See You Smile." The singer addressed his forgetfulness head on.

"I'm not going through a midlife crisis," he said, asserting that he had been filming the "Yellowstone" prequel, "1883" for 48 hours straight. "We showed up to this show tonight because we love you. Thanks you all for being here. If I forget words tonight just know I'm old and I'm shooting a movie."

He added, "If I forget the words, sing along with me and help me out."

Melissa Joan Hart ends all hope of a 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch' reboot

Melissa Joan Hart is pouring cold water on a potential reboot of "Sabrina the Teenage Witch."

"I've never really wanted to go back to Sabrina. As much as I had a blast on the show, I think it would be over-critiqued, and I don't think it would be successful," she surmised in a chat with E! News. "It's kind of like the last 'Game of Thrones', right? Everybody has predicted for years how they think it should end, and by the time you do it, you're disappointing so many people."

Kathy Hutchins/Shutterstock

A reboot, she thinks, would be overly judged.

"I do think we ended 'Sabrina' in just the right tone and just the right way, with enough of a closure but a little bit of a wink towards the future that I wouldn't want to go back and revisit. We would never be able to get that kind of button on it again," she said. "It would always be out there to be critiqued, and I just think it's dangerous with a project like this that's become so loved over the years."

The show, which aired from 1996 to 2004, was beloved, but Melissa wouldn't really know anything about that, as she's never watched the show in its entirety.

"You have to remember this about then, we didn't have TiVo," she said. "The only way I could watch 'Sabrinawas if I was home on Friday nights, which I wasn't because I was working, or they would hand me on the night it would air, I was allowed to get a copy of it on VHS. So unless I went home and popped it in the VHS player — which I wasn't doing on my weekends off — I never watched it. So I have a totally different perspective on the show than other people do."

Moviestore/Shutterstock

Instead, she remembers more personal moments that involved her time on the set.

"It means I remember certain things: the costume I was wearing when my dog died, or when my boyfriend broke up with me," she said. "I don't remember it the way the audience does, which is kind of getting frustrating because I just don't recall things the way other people do. I probably need to go back and watch 163 episodes, but it's also kind of weird to do that."

Why Joe Biden attended a former 'Housewives' star's wedding

President Joe Biden just got a dose of reality… reality TV, that is.

According to the Oct. 11th White House pool report, the POTUS attended former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Meghan King's wedding in Pennsylvania.

Shutterstock

"The President and the First Lady are attending a small, family wedding at the home of Valerie and Jack Owens," the report said. "Their nephew, Cuffe Owens, is marrying Meghan O'Toole King."

Three weeks ago, the former reality TV star unveiled her romance with Cuffe, a Los Angeles-based attorney, on Instagram.

"Trying my best to avoid any cheesy introductions like 'my main squeeze'… so just meet my man,"  she captioned a photo with her love.

https://www.instagram.com/p/CUPvhshLCT0/

It's unclear how long they've been an item. The White House report was rather stunning, as Meghan, who's fiercely active on social media, had made no mention of a wedding or engagement.

Cuffe's mother is President Biden's only sister and also one of his closest advisers.

While Cuffe comes from a very high-profile family in American politics, he has largely been able to stay out of the spotlight. In fact, he doesn't appear to have social media, and very little is known about his past relationships. The same can't be said for the former Bravo star, as her romances have been well-documented.

Meghan was famously married to former Major League Baseball star Jim Edmonds. Meghan and Jim split in 2019 following a cheating scandal and proceeded to have a very nasty divorce.

Following her Oct. 11 nuptials, Meghan took to Instagram to share a wedding photo with Cuffe.

"We just knew. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Owens," she wrote in the caption.

Kanye West reportedly demanded 'SNL' nix joke about a past tweet

A joke slated to be told during one of Kim Kardashian's "Saturday Night Live" skits was reportedly shut down after her estranged husband, Kanye West, demanded that it be removed.

GC Images

The Sun said "SNL" writers wanted to reference a tweet during Kim's "People's Kourt" sketch in which Kanye referred to Kris Jenner as a "white supremacist." Back in July 28, 2020, the rapper posted a screenshot of unanswered text messages sent to his mother-in-law.

He tweeted, "White supremacy at its highest no cap." He later said, "Kris and Kim put out a statement without my approval… that's not what a wife should do White supremacy."

In the skit —which featured actual tweets from Kanye — Kim played her sister Kourtney Kardashian as a judge.

"Originally the 'People's Kourt' sketch had more aggressive tweets Kanye had posted," a source told the Sun. "The writers wanted to include some from last summer, like calling Kim and Kris white supremacists, but Kim shut that down. Kris and Kanye agreed."

Kristin Callahan/Shutterstock

While the tweet was allegedly taken out, Kim did reference Kanye and her divorce in her monologue.

"I married the best rapper of all time. Not to mention the richest Black person in America," she said. "We also have four amazing kids, which is why when I divorced him, it came to just one thing, his personality."

Kim's performance on the NBC sketch comedy series was well regarded by critics, as she happily poked fun at herself and her famous family. The show also showed an uptick in ratings, bringing in 3.8 million viewers, up from the 3.5 million it garnered the week before with Owen Wilson hosting.

Reba McEntire reacts to Kelly Clarkson's divorce from former stepson

Reba McEntire has a special connection to both Kelly Clarkson and her estranged husband, Brandon Blackstock, and she's now breaking her silence on the duo's divorce.

NBCU Photo Bank/NBCUniversal via

"You know I love them both. Brandon's my stepson, Kelly's my good friend, and I'm pulling for both of them," Reba told EXTRA. "I hope they're happy and healthy and pull through this."

Reba married Brandon's father Narvel Blackstock in 1989, but they split in 2015. Kelly and Brandon began dating in 2012 and he soon became her manager. The pair split last year and their divorce hasn't been completely amicable, as they've fought over finances and housing.

"I pray that everybody gives them the encouragement that they can because they need it right now, both of them do," Reba said. "I love them both with all my heart."

Matt Baron/Shutterstock

The "Since You've Been Gone" singer and Brandon share two children together, River Rose Blackstock, 7, and Remington Alexander Blackstock, 5.

In July, a judge ordered Kelly to pay her ex more than $200,000 in spousal support, as well as about $61,000 in child support for their two children. However, because of the prenup, Kelly got the majority of the former couple's assets, including the Montana ranch where Brandon is currently living. Since Kelly purchased the $10.4 million ranch, a judge recently deemed her the sole owner. Brandon unsuccessfully argued the ranch was marital property that should be split equally between them.

According to TMZ, Kelly is hoping to give her ex the boot as soon as possible, but he's refusing to vacate the property. She hopes to eventually be rid of the ranch completely.
