The Mail on Sunday reported in November that they pair had been dating for the past three months after meeting through mutual friends. "It was all taken slowly and in a considered manner but they are really enjoying being together," said a source. "Michelle has been traveling a lot to promote the 'Downton [Abbey]' movie but they have been in constant contact. Their friends and families are very happy for them. It is just so lovely. "Their relationship was long-distance … but it's getting more serious and Ryan has been staying with Ross in Los Angeles. The couple like to visit karaoke bars and sing together — they have a lot in common. Their energies just click," a source told Us.
Liam Payne clearly has a thing for older women. In 2018, he split from Cheryl Tweedy, the British pop star (who's a decade his senior) with whom he has a son, Bear. In January, The Sun reported that the former One Director member, 25, was secretly seeing supermodel Naomi Campbell, 48 — and that they'd been a thing for months. (They've made headlines for having dinner together in Ghana, flirting on social media and attending a London concert together.) "He can't believe his luck," a source told The Sun, which also reported that some of Liam's friends were worried he'd be "eaten alive" by the older beauty. But almost as quickly as it began, it ended. Liam made things Instagram official with a younger beauty, 19-year-old model Maya Henry, in September.
In early February, People magazine reported that "The Mummy" star Sofia Boutella is in a relationship with "Alita: Battle Angel" actor Keean Johnson (they attended the action film's premiere together on Feb. 5). "They started dating about a year ago but broke up for a short period in between," a source told People in February. "They're super-happy together and seem to be getting serious."
On Feb. 13, Lainey Gossip revealed that Johnny Depp was dating someone new after grainy photos emerged showing the troubled star kissing a mystery woman at a hotel in Belgrade, where he was shooting the drama "Minamata," on Jan. 28. The same woman was also photographed with Johnny outside his home in Le Plan-de-la-Tour, France, earlier in January and photographed boarding a private jet with him and his entourage in Nice, France, on Jan. 24. Two months later, she was identified as Russian dancer-choreographer Polina Glen. The couple reportedly met in 2018 at a house party in Los Angeles. However, by November, the couple had called it quits.
On Jan. 18, DailyMailTV revealed that LGBTQ activist and writer Chaz Bono was in a relationship with former child actor Shara Blue Mathes, who co-starred on the '80s Jason Bateman sitcom "It's Your Move." "Shara was newly single when she first met Chaz [in the spring of 2017] and she wasn't looking for love," explained a source. "But Chaz is such a charming, funny guy that Shara soon fell for him. They have traveled the world together, vacationing in Australia, Holland, Italy and France, and they make a great team… [Chaz's mom] Cher and her mom, Georgia, are treating Shara like family. They are delighted Chaz has found someone who makes him happy."

After her high-profile split from NFL star Danny Amendola, Olivia Culpo tested the dating waters. On March 6, a source told Us Weekly that Zac Efron has been dating Danish Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro. They also fueled dating speculation after fans noticed both posted Instagram photos of themselves at the Feb. 28 Los Angeles Kings hockey game.
Not long after publicly announcing his split from Kaitlynn Carter — whom he married in a non-legally-binding ceremony in Bali in 2018 — "The Hills: New Beginnings" star Brody Jenner went public with a new lady, model Josie Canseco. The pair made their red carpet debut at the Nights of the Jack VIP preview event in Calabasas, California, on Oct. 2. Days earlier, Brody gushed to TMZ that Josie is "one of the most incredible women I've ever met in my entire life" and said he was looking forward to meeting her father, baseball legend Jose Canseco. But by late October, it was over. Sources told TMZ the couple's 14-year age difference — she's 22, he's 36 — was a factor.

Jack Osbourne debuted his new girlfriend, Aree Gearhart, at the 2019 American Music Awards on Nov. 24. Bristol Palin took to Instagram on Nov. 16 to debut a new boyfriend: former Texas A&M quarterback Janson Moore, who now works in medical sales. The onetime "Teen Mom" star posted a pic with her new man at a football game and captioned it with the heart-eyes emoji. It's the mother of three's first public romance since ending her marriage to Dakota Meyer in 2018. Radar Online reported that Janson was also divorced: In May, he filed to end his marriage of less than a year to Makenzie Hausenfluck and he was legally single again by August.
Luann de Lesseps and her agent, Rich Super, have rekindled a romance after briefly getting together in 2018. "The Real Housewives of Orange County" alum Alexis Bellino — whose husband of 13 years, Jim Bellino, filed for divorce in 2018 — debuted her new boyfriend, Andy Bohn, on Instagram on Feb. 3. "RAMS Fam here @acbohn #loveisintheair #myforever," she captioned a pic of them on Super Bowl Sunday. People magazine reported that in the comments, Alexis revealed that Andy is "married" and "in [the] middle of [a] divorce."
On Feb. 6, Radar Online reported that "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador, who split from Scot Matteson in late 2018, had moved on with Rick Stanley, the senior vice president of advertising sales at Comcast Spotlight (Comcast is Bravo's parent company). "Shannon and Rick have been dating for a few months. They bonded over the fact that they were both divorced for six months when they met," a source told Radar. "She has visited him several times, and they've seen each other at company events. … They've even been on a few trips together." According to the source, "It's kind of a scandal that she's dating a network executive." But she would soon move on again…
In July, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Shannon Beador debuted her new boyfriend, insurance brokerage firm exec John Janssen, on Instagram. "He's really romantic and she just thinks that he is the perfect guy!" a source told Radar Online. "He is very successful and well-respected in Orange County."
In September 2019, it emerged that "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Gina Kirschenheiter was seeing Travis Mullen in the wake of her messy divorce from husband Matthew Kirschenheiter. On Feb. 12, Kathryn shared a video of herself being serenaded by Hunter as he drove.
"Riverdale" star KJ Apa and actress Britt Robertson were linked over the summer. The "A Dog's Purpose" co-stars — who portray spouses in the 2020 Jeremy Camp biopic "I Still Believe" — were seen packing on the PDA during Entertainment Weekly's Comic-Con party in San Diego on July 20.
Shaq's got a new lady in his life! Retired NBA star Shaquille O'Neal and "Chicago Fire" actress Annie Ilonzeh's romance was made public when they were photographed holding hands while out and about in New York City on Jan. 25.
This one is messy, we'll do our best to keep it simple. On Jan. 9, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos took to Twitter to announce that he and his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie, had split "after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation." But later that day, the National Enquirer published a report claiming that for the previous eight months, Jeff was having an affair with Lauren Sanchez, a former TV anchor and "So You Think You Can Dance?" host-turned-helicopter pilot who was at the time married to Hollywood mega-agent Patrick Whitesell (seen here with her and Jeff at a party in 2016). Despite the very public drama surrounding both married couples' splits, reports soon revealed that Jeff and Lauren had decided to move forward with their once-clandestine romance. Both original couples divorced in 2019.
On Sept. 28, Us Weekly reported that Ally Brooke, who's establishing herself as a solo artist now that Fifth Harmony is on hiatus, has been dating Will Bracey, one of her two managers, for a time. Will served as Fifth Harmony's tour manager in the girl group's early days.
On Jan. 21 — two months after they were first linked — model Iskra Lawrence took to Instagram to confirm that she was dating songwriter Philip Payne. She wished him a happy birthday and told fans it was "the first time ever I'm posting my man," she wrote alongside a photo of them gazing at one another. In November, the couple revealed that Iskra was pregnant with their first child.

In August, former "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Hadid revealed that she'd been dating new love Joseph Jingoli, a businessman, for eight months. They made their red carpet debut at the Global Lyme Alliance's annual gala in New York City on Oct. 10. "It's so amazing to finally find somebody that is my match," she told Us Weekly there. "I mean, I'm 55! I feel like I'm going to give hope to all these amazing women out there [who] think, you know, after raising children and [going through] divorces, that life is over. On Sept. 15, the Sun reported that Harvey Weinstein's ex-wife, Marchesa co-founder Georgina Chapman, and Adrien Brody, a former friend of the disgraced film producer, were dating after sparking at an event thrown by mutual pal Helena Christensen. "Georgina and Adrien obviously initially met through Harvey, but met again properly in April," said a source. "Helena had invited them both to her swimwear launch in Puerto Rico, and they bonded over cocktails against a backdrop of various beautiful beaches. They stayed in touch when Georgina returned to London, and then arranged to go on a few low-key dates."
In September, it was revealed that music star Lana Del Rey was dating Sgt. Sean "Sticks" Larkin, a police officer who stars on A&E's "LivePD" franchise. "Entertainment Tonight" published photos of the pair spending time together in New York City's Central Park on Sept. 23.
Six months after it was revealed that Brie Larson had split from musician fiancé Alex Greenwald, she was linked to actor-director Elijah Allan-Blitz. On July 30, the couple was caught on camera kissing while grocery shopping in Calabasas, California, on July 30.
Zendaya who? "Spider-Man" franchise star Tom Holland was spotted holding hands with Olivia Bolton at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival in London on July 14. The Sun reported that the two have known each other for years through their families but had only recently started dating. "It took some time for Tom and Olivia to realize the connection between them," a source told the British tabloid. "Tom's been dogged with rumors about who he's dating so finally being public with Olivia has been a massive relief for him. … All their friends and family think they make a lovely couple. He is totally smitten."
Lily Collins and writer-director Charlie McDowell made their romance Instagram official on Aug. 20 after a few months of PDA. He split with Emilia Clarke at some point earlier in the year after a brief romance.
Adriana Lima and new boyfriend Emir Uyar, a Turkish businessman, stepped out together in Mykonos, Greece on July 8, making it clear they were a couple thanks to their PDA.
