'The Sound of Music' cast: Where are they now?

Wonderwall.com is celebrating the life of Christopher Plummer — who died at 91 on Feb. 5, 2021 — by taking a look back at the film that made him a star: "The Sound of Music." Christopher Plummer took on the role of Captain Von Trapp. The strict disciplinarian was courting Baroness Elsa before Maria bounded into his life and changed everything.

Christopher Plummer's career took off after "The Sound of Music." He appeared in dozens of films including "The Man Who Would Be King," "The Return of the Pink Panther," "Malcolm X," "12 Monkeys" and "Syriana," to name just a few. His career continues to thrive today: In 2018 at age 88, Christopher set a Hollywood record when he became the oldest Academy Award nominee ever when he picked up a nod for his work in "All the Money in the World." He also set the record for being the oldest Oscar winner after he took home a best supporting actor trophy for his work in 2011's "Beginners" at age 82. While maintaining his movie career, he also wrote a memoir, "In Spite of Myself," which was released in 2008. Christopher has been married three times, most recently in 1970 to Elaine Taylor, with whom he currently lives in Connecticut. He has a daughter, Amanda, with ex-wife Tammy Grimes. He died at 91 on Feb. 5, 2021.

Julie Andrews played the iconic role of Maria in "The Sound of Music." The postulant-turned-governess developed special relationships with Captain Von Trapp's children and found love with the family's stern patriarch.

The role of Maria earned Julie Andrews a best actress Golden Globe and from there, the "Mary Poppins" star's career continued to flourish as she appeared in films like "Thoroughly Modern Millie," "Victor Victoria" and the "Princess Diaries" films over the next several decades. Julie also found success in television and theater during her illustrious career, during which she's won an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, four more Golden Globes, three Grammys, two Emmys and a Screen Actors Guild lifetime achievement award. Julie has also written children's books and her autobiography, "Home: A Memoir of My Early Years." Julie was married twice. She has one daughter, Emma, from her first marriage to set designer Tony Walton and two adopted daughters, Amy and Joanna, from her second marriage to late filmmaker Blake Edwards. In 2017, she reprised her voice role as Gru's mom in "Despicable Me 3" and launched her own Netflix original series, "Julie's Greenroom," an educational series aimed at preschool children that features the actress as a performing arts instructor for a group of puppet children. Recently, Julie voiced Lady Whistledown on the first season of Shonda Rhimes' hit Netflix period piece "Bridgerton," which debuted in late 2020.

Long before there was icy Princess Elsa in "Frozen," there was icy Baroness Elsa Schraeder in "The Sound of Music." As Captain Von Trapp's love interest, she had her sights set on marrying the family man before his head was turned by Maria.

Baroness Elsa in "The Sound of Music" was Eleanor Parker's most well-known role, but she continued to act after 1965. She transitioned to television later in the '60s, starring on shows like "Bracken's World," which earned her a Golden Globe nomination for best TV actress in a drama. She continued to act throughout the '70s, moving her talents to Broadway and appearing in "Applause," a Broadway musical version of "All About Eve." Throughout the '80s, she had bit roles on shows ranging from "Murder, She Wrote" to "Hotel" and "Fantasy Island" before starring in her last project, the TV movie "Dead on the Money" in 1991. Eleanor (seen here in 1978) largely stepped away from the public eye later in her life and passed away at 91 in 2013 from complications of pneumonia.

The eldest child in the Von Trapp family, Liesl, was played by Charmian Carr.

Liesl was Charmian Carr's most iconic role. She left Hollywood shortly after starring in "The Sound of Music" and married Jay Brent, a dentist, in 1967. She had two daughters, Jennifer and Emily, and started working in interior design, opening her own firm, Charmian Carr Designs. She also penned two books, both a nod to her famous role — "Forever Liesl" and "Letters to Liesl" in 2000 and 2001, respectively. Charmian passed away at 73 from complications of dementia in September 2016.

Nicholas Hammond played the oldest boy in the Von Trapp family, Friedrich.

"The Sound of Music" was Nicholas Hammond's second major movie role. Before that, he appeared in "Lord of the Flies." After starring as Friedrich, Nicholas continued to act, largely on television with roles on sitcoms like "The Brady Bunch," "The Waltons" and the soap opera "General Hospital." But unlike some of his co-stars, Nicholas actually isn't best known for his "Sound of Music" role. No, it was a part in the late '70s that most people remember Nicholas for — Spider-Man! He played the iconic superhero character on the TV series "The Amazing Spider-Man" from 1977 until 1979. He continued to act through the '80s before transitioning to a career behind the scenes directing and writing for TV and the stage in his new home, Australia. He's seen here with "Sound of Music" co-stars Heather Menzies (Louisa, left) and Kym Karath (Gretl, right) back during his last public appearance in 2012. Nicholas is currently in a longtime relationship with Australian actress Robyn Nevin.

Heather Menzies played the second eldest girl in the Von Trapp family, Louisa.

Heather Menzies landed her role in "The Sound of Music" at age 14 with no prior acting experience. But the part inspired a short-lived acting career once the film was released. Heather starred on popular television shows in the '60s and '70s ranging from "Dragnet" and "The Bob Newhart Show" to "The Love Boat" and "Logan's Run." The star went on to marry twice, first to John Cluett and second to Robert Urich, with whom she has three children. She tragically died of brain cancer in December 2017 at age 68.

Bookworm Brigitta Von Trapp was played by Angela Cartwright.

Angela Cartwright followed up "The Sound of Music" with a role on the popular TV series "Lost in Space." She also appeared on popular shows like "My Three Sons" and "Make Room for Granddaddy." Besides the occasional appearance on a television show in the '80s and lending her voice to a few children's projects in the '00s, Angela left acting behind for photography. She married Steve Gullion in 1976 and went on to have two children, Jesse and Rebecca.

Duane Chase played the youngest boy in the family, Kurt Von Trapp.

"The Sound of Music" didn't inspire Duane Chase to stick around in Hollywood. Though he nabbed a few more acting roles, he eventually headed back to school. He went on to study geology in college and settled into a career as a software engineer. He currently lives in Washington state with his wife and designs computer software for geologists and geophysicists. He's seen here with his onscreen sister Louisa, actress Heather Menzies, at his last public appearance in 2005.

The second youngest of the Von Trapps was Marta, played by Debbie Turner.

Another Von Trapp child who ditched Hollywood? Debbie Turner. After playing Marta, Debbie headed back to school and eventually got into the floral business. She married and settled in Minnesota with her husband, with whom she shares four daughters.

The littlest Von Trapp, Gretl, was played by Kym Karath.

Kym Karath continued to act through the '60s and early '70s, popping up on shows like "Lost in Space," "Lassie" and "The Brady Bunch" before leaving acting behind. Kym went on to finish school and attend the University of Southern California. She later married Philippe L'Equilbec, with whom she shares son Eric.

Celebrities react to the death of Christopher Plummer

Christopher Plummer passed away at 91 on Feb. 5, 2021. The iconic actor, who's best known for his legendary performance as Captain Von Trapp in "The Sound of Music," died at his home in Connecticut with his wife, Elaine Taylor, by his side. Following his passing, many in Hollywood publicly paid tribute to him on social media, including his beloved co-star Julie Andrews. "The world has lost a consummate actor today and I have lost a cherished friend," she told NBC News. "I treasure the memories of our work together and all the humor and fun we shared through the years. My heart and condolences go out to his lovely wife Elaine, and his daughter Amanda." Matthew McConaughey unforgettably perfected the art of existential rambling in his 2014 ad campaign for Lincoln, which coincided with the "McConaissance" and his Emmy-nominated turn on "True Detective." (Watch one of his strangest ads here.)

In 2013, Taylor Swift teamed up with Diet Coke for a series of commercials featuring some of her biggest hits. Charlize Theron has appeared in several Dior campaigns since she became the face of the brand's J'Adore fragrance in 2004. Our favorite, which debuted in 2011, features the Oscar-winning actress prepping for a runway presentation alongside three fellow iconic leading ladies: the late Grace Kelly, Marlene Dietrich and Marilyn Monroe. In the years since the real Colonel Sanders died, many stars have suited up to portray fictionalized versions of the KFC founder in commercials: Darrell Hammond, Norm Macdonald, Jim Gaffigan, George Hamilton, Rob Riggle, "Mad Men" star Vincent Kartheiser, Billy Zane, Rob Lowe, Ray Liotta, Jason Alexander, Sean Astin and Reba McEntire are among the bold-faced names who've played the fast-food chain's iconic mascot. Perhaps most noteworthy, however, is the most recent star to take on the role: Mario Lopez, who made headlines in late 2020 when he played the Colonel in not just a "finger lickin' good" commercial but also in "A Recipe for Seduction," a short film that aired on Lifetime. Betty White scored an unexpected comeback after she starred alongside Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds in "The Proposal." The 2009 comedy helped her book a lead role in Snickers' "You're Not You When You're Hungry" campaign, which saw her getting tackled while playing football with the guys. (Watch it here.) According to reports, the ad, which debuted during the 2010 Super Bowl, significantly boosted sales of the candy bar.

William Shatner started starring in Priceline.com commercials in the late '90s. Over the years, his advertisement alter ego, the Priceline Negotiator, has been killed off, brought back from the dead and blessed with a daughter played by Kaley Cuoco. Fabio and I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! are practically synonymous. The Italian American model-actor started appearing in commercials for the margarine brand in the early '90s. (Check out one of his early ads here.)

"I'm on a horse!" In 2010, Isaiah Mustafa shot into the spotlight when he starred in Old Spice's "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like" campaign. (Watch it here.) The series of advertisements helped the model and former professional football player launch his burgeoning acting career. He's since starred on "Shadowhunters" and appeared in "It Chapter Two," "Horrible Bosses" and "Madea's Big Happy Family."

Best whodunit mysteries to stream

Who doesn't love a good murder mystery?! The genre is one of our favorites here at Wonderwall.com, so we're taking a look at our top murder-mystery films and television shows to stream, starting with this standout with a star-studded cast… 2019's "Knives Out" chronicles private detective Benoit Blanc's (Daniel Craig) investigation into the sudden and peculiar death of writer Harlan Thrombey (the late, great Christopher Plummer), the wealthy and difficult patriarch of a complicated family. While he may not have all the answers, there's one thing Benoit is sure of — that all members of the Thrombey family should be considered murder suspects. Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Toni Collette, LaKeith Stanfield, Michael Shannon and Don Johnson also star in this movie written and directed by Rian Johnson, who earned an Academy Award nod for best original screenplay in 2020. "The Usual Suspects" on iTunes and Vudu

Among the most notable murder mysteries? 1995's "The Usual Suspects." The thriller starring Kevin Spacey, Benicio del Toro, Gabriel Byrne, Chazz Palminteri, Kevin Pollak and Pete Postlethwaite revolves around one Roger "Verbal" Kint, a con man who's one of two survivors of a mass murder at a shipping dock. The audience — by way of the interrogator — are taken on a seriously convoluted roller coaster in an attempt to figure out who was behind the mysterious crime. And who could forget about the film's iconic twist?! The movie's writer, Christopher McQuarrie, won a best original screenplay Oscar for the project in 1996. "The Usual Suspects" is available to watch on iTunes and Vudu.

"Twin Peaks" on Netflix & Hulu

It's the show that started it all: David Lynch's "Twin Peaks." The original iteration of the horror-drama, which featured elements of the supernatural, aired in 1990 and 1991 over the course of 30 episodes in two seasons on ABC and earned nearly 20 Emmy nominations. Kyle MacLachlan starred as Dale Cooper, an FBI agent investigating the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer in the titular Washington town. The short-lived series, which has influenced countless other shows over the years, won a legion of loyal fans who helped bring it back in 2017 for an 18-episode revival on Showtime.

"Zodiac" on YouTube & Amazon Prime Video

Some moviegoers take solace in knowing that whatever they're watching — regardless of how terrifying or bone chilling it may be — is at least purely fiction. This, however, is not the case for "Zodiac." The 2007 David Fincher-directed thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr. and Anthony Edwards is based on the 1986 non-fiction novel of the same name by Robert Graysmith. "Zodiac" chronicles the search for the notorious real-life serial murderer known as the Zodiac Killer, who terrorized the San Francisco Bay Area in the '60s and '70s. As he taunts police departments with indecipherable ciphers and bloodstained articles of clothing, the film's investigators are left wondering — like most of America still is — who was behind the infamous string of murders.

"Big Little Lies" on HBO Max

Awards rolled in for the first season of "Big Little Lies," the HBO adaptation of the novel of the same name, which premiered in 2017 and scored a 94 percent fresh rating with critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley and Reese Witherspoon headlined the star-studded series, which teases a murder in its first episode but doesn't reveal the identities of the deceased or his/her killer until much later. The show won eight Emmys — including outstanding limited series and acting awards for Nicole, Alexander Skarsgard and Laura Dern — and four Golden Globes in the same categories. Nicole and Alexander also took home SAG Awards for their performances.

"Top of the Lake: China Girl" on Hulu & Amazon Prime Video

Elisabeth Moss returned to the role of Sydney-based detective Robin Griffin on "Top of the Lake: China Girl," the sequel to 2013's "Top of the Lake," which aired on BBC Two and the Sundance Channel in 2017. Unlike the first installment, which centered around the disappearance of a pregnant pre-teen in a small New Zealand town, the follow-up centered around Robin's investigation into the murder of a pregnant prostitute who illegally immigrated to Australia. Also unlike the first installment, for which Elisabeth won a Golden Globe and earned an Emmy nomination, the second chapter wasn't especially good, starting strong and falling apart toward the end of its six-episode run.

"Luther" on HBO Max & Hulu

The British crime series "Luther" features titular character John Luther, played by the impossibly handsome Idris Elba, as a detective chief inspector working in the Serious Crime Unit. The show, which has aired five seasons, deals with John's investigations of murders committed by psychopaths — one of whom he befriends (Alice Morgan, played by Ruth Wilson). It's no surprise the show has been an award show staple over the years, with Idris picking up a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for his portrayal of John. It's simply an impeccably done British series that we're happy has been imported.

"Mindhunter" on Netflix

Netflix brought us the gritty, addictive "Mindhunter" in 2017. The show, set in the late '70s, follows FBI agents Holden Ford (played by Jonathan Groff) and Bill Tench (played by Holt McCallany) as they start the agency's Behavioral Science Unit. Their research? Interviewing serial killers in an attempt to figure out what goes on in the minds of some of the most terrifying psychopaths behind bars. Though it's sometimes hard to watch, the show is compelling and an interesting twist on the typical murder mystery. Time magazine ranked "Mindhunter" among the best TV shows of 2017 — and we couldn't agree more.

"And Then There Were None" on Amazon Prime Video

Who could forget this classic? Based on the 1939 Agatha Christie novel of the same name, 1945's "And Then There Were None" tells the story of eight strangers who are invited to stay at a mansion on an isolated island off the coast of England. What they soon come to realize, however, is that a grim fate awaits each member of the group — slowly but surely, they begin to disappear one by one.

"Gracepoint" on YouTube & Amazon Prime Video

Next up? The FOX series "Gracepoint"! Fans of the British series "Broadchurch" were more than a little disappointed with this American remake, which aired on the network in late 2014. David Tennant, who also starred on the UK version, and "Breaking Bad" actress Anna Gunn portrayed police detectives investigating the murder of a young boy in a small coastal town. The 10-episode drama featured a strong performance from its leading lady but ultimately ventured too far into melodrama territory.

"Taboo" on Hulu

Tom Hardy's divisive early-1800s-set drama, "Taboo," which he co-created and in which he also stars as the vicious James Delaney, is about much more than unraveling the mystery of who murdered James' father. (His death is what prompts the former Navy cadet to return to London from Africa, where he was presumed dead.) The first season of the series, a co-production between FX and BBC One, aired in early 2017 and centered primarily around the tensions between James and the corrupt East India Company. If you ask us, the first eight episodes are criminally underrated!

"A Perfect Getaway" on Google Play & Amazon Prime Video

The thriller starring Timothy Olyphant, Milla Jovovich, Kiele Sanchez and Steve Zahn explores the paranoia and increasing suspicion that mounts when couples on vacation begin to turn up dead.

"The Bridge" on YouTube & Amazon Prime Video

Diane Kruger and Demián Bichir starred as an American detective and a Mexican detective who team up to solve the murder of an American judge whose body was left directly on the border between Texas and Chihuahua — the work of a serial killer — on the first season of the FX drama "The Bridge," which aired in 2013 and performed well with critics but ultimately failed to find an audience. FX cancelled the series following its second season in 2014.

"The Night Of" on HBO Max & Hulu

Riz Ahmed starred as Nasir "Naz" Khan, a college kid accused of murdering a girl in New York City, on HBO's eight-episode miniseries "The Night Of," which aired in mid-2016. The lauded did-he-or-didn't-he drama, which has a 94 percent fresh rating with critics on Rotten Tomatoes, won five Emmys — including best lead actor in a limited series or movie for its star — and earned another eight nominations.

"A Simple Favor" on Hulu & Amazon Prime Video

While this black comedy doesn't necessarily include murder, it does revolve around a sudden disappearance. 2018's "A Simple Favor," which stars Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, tells the story of a young vlogger who takes it upon herself to investigate the vanishing of her luxury-loving friend. Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Rupert Friend, Jean Smart and Linda Cardellini also appear in the film, which critics loved for its engaging and twisted plot.

"True Detective" Season 1 on HBO Max & Hulu

Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey both earned Emmy nominations for their work as homicide detectives investigating the ritualistic murder of a prostitute in rural Louisiana on the first season of HBO's lauded anthology series "True Detective," which aired in early 2014. The murder-mystery ultimately took home five Emmys including outstanding directing for a drama series. It also has a 97 percent fresh rating with audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Remington Steele" on Amazon Prime Video

Remember this '80s classic? "Remington Steele" featured a very young Pierce Brosnan playing a former con artist who teams up with private investigator Laura Holt (played by Stephanie Zimbalist) to solve crimes including murder-mysteries. The show utilized a format that was a hybrid of detective-procedural and drama with an infusion of comedy. Pierce's character assumed the identity of the fictitious titular character, invented by Laura when clients were hesitant to hire a female P.I. The series, though lighter than some others on this list, was certainly groundbreaking for the genre. It gets bonus points for being one of the first to show the mysteries unraveling through a woman's eyes.

"Riverdale" on Netflix & YouTube

The well-reviewed first season of the pulpy teen drama "Riverdale," which is based on the Archie Comics and debuted on The CW in 2017, centered around the murder of high school quarterback Jason Blossom in the titular small town. KJ Apa (seen here) stars as Archie Andrews, one of the local teens unofficially investigating the murder.

"Murder on the Orient Express" on YouTube & Amazon Prime Video

2017's "Murder on the Orient Express" — directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh — follows the eager Detective Hercule Poirot, who, in the wake of a mysterious murder aboard the titular train, appears to interrogate its passengers in hopes of identifying the killer before another person turns up dead. Daisy Ridley, Michelle Pfeiffer, Leslie Odom Jr., Johnny Depp, Josh Gad, Judi Dench, Willem Dafoe, Penelope Cruz and Derek Jacobi also appear in the thriller based on the 1934 Agatha Christie novel of the same name.

"The Killing" on Hulu & Amazon Prime Video

The first season of "The Killing" — which aired on AMC from 2011 to 2013 before moving to Netflix for its fourth and final season in 2014 — scored a jaw-dropping 100 percent fresh rating with critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Mireille Enos starred as Sarah Linden, a troubled Seattle Police Detective investigating the murder of a teen girl on the first two seasons of the show, which earned six Emmy nominations for Season 1. Though reviews became increasingly negative in subsequent seasons, we'll always love "The Killing" for the strong impact it made when it first debuted.

"True Detective" Season 2 on HBO Max & Hulu

The second season of HBO's "True Detective," which aired in 2015, may have failed to live up to the expectations set by its predecessor, but we liked it just fine. The California-set melodrama centered around a highway patrol officer (Taylor Kitsch), a police detective (Colin Farrell) and an agent from a county sheriff's office (Rachel McAdams) who team up to investigate the murder of a corrupt city manager. Vince Vaughn starred as the deceased's partner, an entrepreneur and career criminal.

"The Fall" on Peacock & Amazon Prime Video

The first two seasons of the British-Irish drama "The Fall" scored a 100 percent fresh rating with critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Like "The Sinner," the question wasn't "who?" but "why?" In this case: Why is a married bereavement counsellor with two small children moonlighting as the Belfast Strangler, a serial killer targeting young professional women? Gillian Anderson starred as Superintendent Stella Gibson, a senior police officer on the hunt for Jamie Dornan's Paul Spector on the lauded psychological thriller, which aired from 2013 to 2016 on Netflix in the United States.

"Broadchurch" on Netflix

Critics and audiences alike adored the British series "Broadchurch," which centered around two police detectives (David Tennant and Olivia Colman) investigating the murder of a young boy in a coastal town in England. The ITV drama, which aired as three eight-episode seasons between 2013 and 2017, has been remade in America ("Gracepoint") and France ("Malaterra"). Olivia won a BAFTA Award in 2014 for her work on the murder-mystery.

"Pretty Little Liars" on HBO Max & YouTube

Though there were countless mysteries to unravel on "Pretty Little Liars" over the course of its seven-season run on ABC Family between 2010 and 2017, the whole thing started with the disappearance and alleged death of Alison DiLaurentis. Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario and Ashley Benson starred on the beloved teen thriller, which kept us guessing until its final episode.

"Clue" on Hulu & Amazon Prime Video

A beloved board game turned live-action film? Count us in! 1985's "Clue" hilariously chronicles the drama at an extravagant dinner party. When one of its guests is murdered, all those in attendance are deemed suspects and must figure out who is responsible for committing the crime. Despite performing poorly at the box office — the dark comedy grossed just $14.6 million on a $15 million budget — "Clue" went on to become a cult classic.

"The Sinner" on Netflix & Hulu

On "The Sinner," which aired on USA Network in mid-2017, the question wasn't "who?" but "why?" Jessica Biel starred as Cora Tannetti, a young wife and mother who violently murders a stranger while she's in a fugue state. (She earned a Golden Globe nomination for her efforts.) Over the course of the eight-episode series, a local police detective (Bill Pullman) helps Cora unravel the mystery of why she suddenly snapped. The series, which features Jessica's best work yet, scored a 94 percent fresh rating with critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

"The Alienist" on HBO Max & Hulu

"The Alienist," a 10-episode psychological thriller based on the Caleb Carr novel of the same name, centers around a criminal psychologist (known then as an "alienist") investigating a serial killer targeting boy prostitutes in New York City in 1896. The drama — on which Dakota Fanning, Daniel Brühl and Luke Evans starred — debuted in 2018. The addictive, well-acted limited series picked up six Primetime Emmy nominations.

"Fargo" on Hulu & YouTube

FX's "Fargo" might have been inspired by the 1996 film of the same name, but each season of the television version takes place in a different era. The ongoing series, which started back in 2014, is always giving viewers a fresh storyline that involves the investigations of fascinating murders. The cast rotation — stars like real-life couple Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst starred on Season 2 — and the small overlap in storylines keep fans coming back for more.

Robin Thicke honors late father Alan Thicke with new song, 'Lucky Star'

On Feb. 12, Robin Thicke is set to release "On Earth, and in Heaven," his first full-length studio album in six years.

When he announced the album last month, Robin described the new music as, "the sunshine coming out after the rain," according to Billboard. The album trailer that accompanied the announcement suggests "the rain" was the intense period of years in which the "Masked Singer" star lost his dad, Alan Thicke, and his professional mentor, Andre Harrell, a music industry scion who started out at Def Jam in the '80s, served as Motown's CEO and founded Uptown Records before his death last year.

As Robin told fans on social media on Friday, Feb. 5, he had both Andre and his dad in mind when he wrote what became the first track on the new album.

"You know that feeling you have when you're all alone but you know that you're not alone," he tweeted, sharing the new track. "That's what 'Lucky Star' is about. That presence in your life that holds you tight, gives you hope, and lights the way," Robin added, naming Alan and Andre as his own "lucky stars."

"Lucky Star/ Make my dreams come true/ Play your part/ Said I'm counting on you," Robin sings on the track. "Lucky Star/ Paint my gray skies blue/ See my heart/ And what I'm going through," the lyrics continue.

"When I'm down and out/ And I've lost my way/ Through the hardest nights and the darkest days/ Oh Lucky Star won't you help me light the way."

In a follow-up to his post, Robin, 43, said "Lucky Star" is the first track on "On Earth, and in Heaven." It was also the last song he wrote for the album. "Once we had this song I knew the album was complete," he tweeted.

Robin's dad, Alan, passed away in December 2016 at age 69 after suffering a heart attack. Andre also died relatively young, at age 59, in May 2020. His wife said in the wake of his death that he'd been experiencing heart problems.

In his January album announcement, Robin explained how the new music was inspired by both loss and growth.

"I feel like I'm finally the person I set out to be. I'm able to laugh at anything, which I've realized is the greatest superpower. I've fully embraced it, and nothing has been better for my soul," he said in a press release at the time. "When I saw the phrase 'On Earth, and in Heaven,' I realized that's what I'm singing about: the people who aren't here and the people who are here that made me who I am."

Now a father himself, Robin shares three kids, Luca, Mia and Lola, with April Love Geary, as well as a son, Julian, with his ex, Paula Patton.

New cheating rumors

On part one of the "Southern Charm" season 7 reunion, which filmed in late 2020 and aired on Jan. 28, Craig Conover accused Madison LeCroy of having an affair with an ex-MLB player. (During the reunion, Madison admitted that the mystery man "contacted" her and that they exchanged direct messages but insisted that "other than that, there was nothing" between them: She "never physically" saw him or "touched him.") After the accusation aired, the Internet erupted with rumors claiming Madison had an affair with Alex Rodriguez, who's engaged to Jennifer Lopez. The evidence? The baseball star follows the "Southern Charm" star on Instagram and has liked several of her recent thirst-inducing snaps. A-Rod and Madison also reportedly stayed at the same New York City hotel at the same time in December 2020. (As the scandal started heating up online, social media sleuths noticed Alex unliked several of Madison's posts and also deleted the photo of himself at the NYC hotel from late last year.) Then on the Feb. 2 episode of the "Reality Life with Kate Casey" podcast, Madison's "Southern Charm" co-star Danni Baird revealed that Madison told her "months before" the reunion that she and Alex "were FaceTiming or something." The following day, Madison confirmed to Page Six that she and the former professional athlete — whom she described as "just an acquaintance" — have "spoken on the phone" but insisted that they "never met up," have "never been physical" and "never had any kind of anything." She added that they spoke "randomly" but not consistently and maintained that their communication was "innocent." An Alex-friendly source told Page Six that A-Rod "doesn't know" Madison and "definitely didn't hook up with her." (The source didn't deny that he'd slid into her DMs, though.) A second Page Six source insisted that "Alex and Jennifer are very happy."

Coming out and making history

It's a big moment in country music: Brothers Osborne frontman T.J. Osborne came out as a gay man in an interview with TIME magazine published on Feb. 3. The musician said he's been out to his family and friends for years, but felt it was time to share the news with fans. "I'm very proud to put this out there," T.J. said in a video he posted on Instagram. "I want you to know … the person you've gotten to know over the years is me. Now you've just gotten to know more about me." This news makes T.J. the first and only openly gay man signed to a major music label in the country genre! The country music community as well as some Hollywood stars reacted on social media, with everyone from Kacey Musgraves and Reese Witherspoon to Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley voicing their heartfelt support.

Secret health battle

Tony Bennett has been secretly living with Alzheimer's disease, his family revealed on Feb. 1 in an AARP The Magazine profile. The 94-year-old Grammy winner was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease in 2016, his wife, Susan Benedetto, explained, adding that Tony is still capable of recognizing his family and friends (including frequent collaborator Lady Gaga!) and doesn't have some of the worst symptoms associated with Alzheimer's. Still, Susan said, the singer is "incapable of understanding the disease." Tony is "not always sure where he is or what is happening around him" and "mundane objects as familiar as a fork or a set of house keys can be utterly mysterious to him," she noted, though made it clear he's still in good spirits. "But that's because he already didn't understand," she said. "He would ask me, 'What is Alzheimer's?' I would explain, but he wouldn't get it. He'd tell me, 'Susan, I feel fine.' That's all he could process — that physically he felt great. So, nothing changed in his life. Anything that did change, he wasn't aware of."

So long, Screech

Dustin Diamond — the actor who famously played lovable Screech on "Saved by the Bell" — passed away on Feb. 1 just a few weeks after he was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell carcinoma, which is also known as lung cancer. He was 44. Many of Dustin's "Bell" co-stars honored him on social media. Mark-Paul Gosselaar called him "a true comedic genius." Tori Spelling, who played Dustin's love interest on the sitcom, said, "He's an icon to me professionally and personally." Mario Lopez added, "He was iconic. … His little looks and facial expressions and voice and the way it cracked, it was just the quintessential goofy, lovable fun nerd [character on 'Bell'] and it really resonated with the kids. And that was all him; he was kind of like Screech in real life. … He was an integral part of the chemistry and the comedy, and I don't know if it would have worked without him."

COVID-19 issues (again)

Stop us if you heard this one before: Kelly Dodd said something controversial about the coronavirus. But this time, she's paying the price for it. In late January, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star happily celebrated the re-opening of outdoor dining in California by grabbing some drinks with friends. She then did a cheers to "super spreaders," referring to people with COVID-19. Afterward, Kelly took to Instagram to claim, "I'm not a super spreader because there is nothing to spread." She even added that she and her friends "all got the [COVID-19] vaccine. And we don't have it. So there's nothing to spread… The sheeple are mad." On Feb. 1, Positive Beverage — a brand she had an endorsement deal with — had seen enough and dropped her. "Our core values of wellness, community, diversity and inclusion should be reflected by our brand and anyone associated with it," the company said in a statement, adding, "it has become clear over the past few months that Kelly's controversial views and opinions have distracted from our primary objectives, so effective today, we are no longer affiliated with Kelly Dodd-Leventhal." The brand added that Kelly has no "respect" for people with a differing view than hers. On Feb. 2, E! reported that Kelly expects she'll be fired from Bravo's "RHOC."

Racial slur sparks backlash

On Feb. 2, video of country music star Morgan Wallen getting rowdy at his house days earlier emerged — and in it, he at one point loudly says the N-word. He apologized, telling TMZ, "I'm embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better." But by Feb. 3, country music radio powerhouse Cumulus Media had banned his songs from its airwaves, with iHeartRadio, SiriusXM and Pandora quickly did the same. Then his record label suspected him indefinitely, and the Academy of Country Music ruled him ineligible for its 2021 awards show, for which he was expected to score multiple nominations.

Saying goodbye

Oscar-, Golden Globe- and BAFTA-winning "Beginners" actor Christopher Plummer died following a fall at his home in Connecticut on Feb. 5. He was 91. The Canadian actor — who most recently appeared in "Knives Out" — also earned two Emmys during his long career. Hollywood stars including his "The Sound of Music" co-star Julie Andrews took to social media to mourn the acting great.

Abuse accusations, denial

In a Feb. 1 Instagram post, actress Evan Rachel Wood accused ex-fiance Marilyn Manson of abuse. "The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson," the "Westworld" actress wrote. "He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail." She continued, "I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. On Feb. 2, his talent agency, CAA, also cut ties with him. Evan had previously claimed before Congress that she was a victim of abuse, but she never named her alleged accuser until now.

Honored… but no thank you

Last fall, former President Barack Obama said he made a mistake by not awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Dolly Parton during his time in office. It turns out, she might not have accepted it anyway. On Feb. 1, the country music legend said she was twice offered the medal during former President Donald Trump's term. "I couldn't accept it because my husband was ill and then they asked me again about it and I wouldn't travel because of the COVID," she told "Today." She added that President Joe Biden has spoken to her about receiving the country's highest civilian honor, but she's hesitant to accept because of the way it might be construed, especially since she didn't take Trump up on his offer (albeit for legitimate reasons). "Now I feel like if I take it, I'll be doing politics, so I'm not sure," she said. "But I don't work for those awards. It'd be nice but I'm not sure that I even deserve it. But it's a nice compliment for people to think that I might deserve it."

Golden Globe Awards nominations and SAG Awards nominations announced

It might not be a normal year, but some traditions — like Hollywood's awards season — remain. This week, nominations for both the Golden Globe Awards and the Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced. For the upcoming Globes, Netflix pulled in the most nominations with six for "The Crown," four for "Ozark," six for "Mank" and five for "The Trial of the Chicago 7." For the SAG Awards, "Minari" and "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" scored three nominations in movie categories while TV favorites "The Crown" and "Schitt's Creek" earned six nods each. Also of note? One day after earning his first Globe nod on Feb. 3 — albeit posthumously — Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020 following a secret battle with colon cancer, made history as he became the first actor to ever receive four SAG Award nominations in a single year.

Trump dumps Hollywood union before he can be expelled

Donald Trump just resigned from Hollywood's most powerful union, SAG-AFTRA, before the guild could expel him, as it indicated it was ready to do following his role in the Capital riot on Jan. 6 as well as what it called his "reckless campaign of misinformation aimed at discrediting and ultimately threatening the safety of journalists, many of whom are SAG-AFTRA members." On Feb. 4, the union released a copy of the letter the former president of the United States sent to its president, former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star Gabrielle Carteris. "I write to you today regarding the so-called Disciplinary Committee hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares!" he began, continuing, "While I'm not familiar with your work, I'm very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice — to name just a few." He carried on in the same vein — read the whole letter here — and concluded things with the line, "You have done nothing for me." The guild's response? Two simple words: "Thank you."

Production on T.I. and Tiny Harris' 'Friends & Family Hustle' reality show paused over sexual abuse claims

The reality show, "T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle," halted production on Friday, Feb. 5, due to sexual abuse allegations faced by the show's stars, T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Harris. Despite the couple's denial of all such accusations, a rep for MTV told Deadline on Friday: "We are aware of the allegations, and while they are not connected to our show, we have reached out to T.I. and Tameka Harris, as well as local and state officials. Given the serious nature of the allegations, we have decided to suspend production in order to gather more information." The show had been shooting Season 4 in Atlanta. The allegations were made on social media, with the accuser accusing the couple of sexual abuse including coercion, drugging and trafficking. In a statement released in late January, a rep for the stars said, "they emphatically deny in the strongest way possible the egregiously appalling allegations." The statement also claimed the Harrises, "have had difficulty with [their accuser] for well over a decade."

Christopher Plummer dies at 91

Oscar-winner and two-time Tony and Emmy Award winner Christopher Plummer has died. His family confirmed the news on Friday, Feb. 5, to Deadline, which reported the star of "The Sound of Music" and dozens of other acclaimed films passed away at his home in Connecticut while surrounded by loved ones including his wife, Elaine Taylor. Plummer, whose career spanned nearly 70 years, recently starred in "Knives Out" and will appear, via voiceover, in the upcoming adventure film, "Heroes of the Golden Masks." Calling the star a "consummate actor" and cherished friend," Plummer's "Sound of Music" costar, Julie Andrews," said in a statement: "I treasure the memories of our work together and all the humor and fun we shared through the years. My heart and condolences go out to his lovely wife Elaine and his daughter Amanda." He was 91.

Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik have matching 'Khai' tattoos in honor of their daughter

Turns out Zayn Malik's new "Khai" tattoo, which he got in honor of the daughter he and Gigi Hadid welcomed in September, is part of a pair — and the other half is adorning Gigi's bicep. Fans first spotted Zayn's new ink — the couple's daughter's name, written in Arabic — last month, shortly after Gigi added "Khai's mom" to her Instagram bio. As Olivia Wilde continues with production on her second directorial turn, "Don't Worry Darling," she's developed some buzz around Hollywood thanks to her "no a——-" policy. The on-set rule went public when Variety reported Olivia had fired Shia LaBeouf from the film due to his behavior, which was making headlines at the time amid abuse allegations made by Shia's ex, FKA Twigs. Speaking to "Promising Young Woman" director Emerald Fennell for Variety's "Director on Director" series, Olivia explained that she won't tolerate working with anyone who behaves poorly or mistreats other members of the cast or crew. "… It puts everybody on the same level," the 36-year-old said of her policy. "I also noticed as an actress for years how the hierarchy of the set separated the actors from the crew in this very strange way that serves no one. Kelly Ripa explains why her son's dyslexia has actually been 'a blessing'

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are preparing to send their 17-year-old son, Joaquin, off to college. But as Kelly shared on the Friday, Feb. 5, edition of "Live!," there was a time when even Mark wasn't convinced the couple's youngest would make it that far in his education. "Mark and I were FaceTiming the other night," Kelly told her co-host Ryan Seacrest. "Mark got very emotional and very choked up, because he said, 'You know, I never thought he would be able to go to college' because he was profoundly dyslexic and dysgraphic." Like dyslexia, dysgraphia is a learning disability. While dyslexia affects a person's ability to read, however, dysgraphia creates neurological issues that make it hard for a person to write or use fine motor skills. Kelly went to say Joaquin's "hard work and determination" over the years eventually led to reading becoming "one of [his] favorite things to do." She also noted that learning disabilities make the education process different, but not necessarily less fruitful. "I always say that dyslexia — for our family at least and if you read about it — can be quite a blessing," Kelly explained. "People panic in real-time because they don't understand it. It's a much often misunderstood learning difference. But kids with dyslexia learn how to read the room. They pick up on social cues and signals. … You see in him a fire… a desire to learn. That's the thing is, like, these kids are, I would say, even more capable."

More than two decades after Salma Hayek worked with Harvey Weinstein on "Frida," she continued to wrestle with the trauma that resulted from his alleged sexual harassment, threats and unwanted advances. But it wasn't until dozens of other women came forward with similar accusations against the former producer that Hayek realized she'd repressed the pain. "The amazing thing is that I thought I had healed," the "Bliss" star recently told the Evening Standard. "And then everything came out again and I realized I didn't heal. I repressed and I coped, I adjusted, I went on, so there was a layer of healing because it didn't stop me from growing. But it was very painful for a long time. I didn't know there were so many other women affected and that it went so deep. It was very shocking. But the fact that we [took action] together made it really healing." Following a pair of 2017 reports alleging Weinstein had sexually assaulted, harassed and/or raped multiple women, survivors continued coming forward until nearly 100 had told similar stories. Weinstein, 68, is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence on rape and sexual assault charges. Todaym Hayek says she's "moved on," explaining to the Standard: "I lived with that for long enough and I detach myself from it now."

Addiction has played a central role in the Osbourne family's lives for as long as they've been a family. But today, recovery's a theme in the lives of Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne, Jack Osbourne and Kelly Osbourne, too. In a recent interview with Variety, Ozzy, Sharon and Jack spoke candidly about the toll addiction's taken on their lives — and shared some insights into how why recovery has worked for Ozzy, Jack and Kelly. "I thought I'd be drinking to the day I die," said Ozzy, 72. Instead, he's been sober for seven years, thanks in large part to the efforts of his wife and manager Sharon, 68. "I've always been self-medicating because I've never liked the way I felt. I've had great success in my life, but I've never felt great about myself," Ozzy admitted. Those negative feelings led to substance abuse that Sharon said looked so awful she assumed her kids would simply want to avoid booze and drugs because of what they did to their dad. But for Jack, who at 35 has 17 years of sobriety under his belt, and 36-year-old Kelly, who got sober again after relapse in 2017, that's not how things unfolded. Jack admitted he was "drinking a lot" in his teens while struggling with depression. "I guess I didn't want to be the downside of [substance abuse]," he explained. "I wanted to be the upside of it, because the upside of it, when things were great, it seemed like a lot of fun. I wanted the excitement of crazy adventures inebriated." Added Ozzy: "It's a very selfish disease. My kids needed me. … I had a row with Jack. I had to talk business. And I said … 'I'll give you whatever you want.' He says, 'What about a father?' … It knocked me sideways."

On Wednesday, Chrissy tweeted about her pregnancy loss, sharing that she was "a bit off" because her "little jack would have been born this week," and her painful cramps felt "exactly like baby kicks." The cookbook author and model shares two children, Luna, 4, and Miles, 2, with husband John Legend.

The Weeknd finally explains those face bandages

As The Weeknd prepares for his Super Bowl Halftime Show, the singer's finally addressed the meaning of the bandages he's had on his face and head since last year. The look began with his 2020 video for "Blinding Lights," which shows him getting roughed up in a fight while out on the town. After that, The Weeknd wore the same red suit and face bandages live performances. At The American Music Awards in November, he accepted three major awards in the same getup. In Vogue's latest cover story, new mom Gigi Hadid opens up about her 14-hour labor, her home birth and the parenting plans she and Zayn Malik have for their first child, Khai, who arrived in September. The 25-year-old supermodel and her singer beau, 28, planned to have their little girl in a hospital in New York City at first, but ultimately decided to have the baby at their home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with the help of a doula — but no epidural. "I was an animal woman," she says, giggling about how she must have looked while in labor all that time. Gigi's mom, Yolanda Hadid, her sister, Bella Hadid and of course Zayn were all by her side for the whole process, she said, recalling that Zayn "caught" Khai when she emerged. "It didn't even click that she was out," Gigi said. "I was so exhausted, and I looked up and he's holding her. It was so cute." As for the pain? "I had to dig deep," she said. "I knew it was going to be the craziest pain in my life, but you have to surrender to it and be like, 'This is what it is.' I loved that. There definitely was a point where I was like, I wonder what it would be like with an epidural, how it would be different. My midwife looked at me and was like, 'You're doing it. No one can help you. You're past the point of the epidural anyway, so you'd be pushing exactly the same way in a hospital bed.'" The experience was intense, though. "Afterward, Z and I looked at each other and were like, we can have some time before we do that again," Gigi shared. Asked where the couple plans to raise their little one — Gigi also owns a luxury apartment in New York City — she said she's leaning towards the farm where they've been living throughout the pandemic. "The greenery and the farm-y lifestyle are similar to what made me feel really centered as a kid, and I think that's really important to Zayn and me," Gigi explained. "I think that just giving your child the opportunity to explore different interests is such a beautiful thing."

Chadwick Boseman becomes the first actor to receive four SAG Award nominations in one year

One day after earning his first Golden Globe nomination, Chadwick Boseman made SAG Awards history. On Thursday, Feb. 4, the late star became the first actor to receive four SAG Awards nominations in a single year, according to the Daily Mail. Chadwick, who died following a private battle with cancer in August, is up for Best Actor for his performance opposite Viola Davis in "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" and Best Supporting Actor in Spike Lee's "Da 5 Bloods." He's also nominated alongside his cast mates from of both films for the Outstanding Ensemble SAG Award. He shot both movies after his cancer diagnosis, while receiving secret chemotherapy treatments. Reflecting on his character and contribution to film, Viola told ET in December, "There was nothing about Chadwick that was anything other than a life force, that was anything other than bringing his utmost to the work. The dedication. The integrity. … He's one of those people you meet every once in a lifetime that are focused on every single moment. Every single moment is intentional." The 2021 SAG Awards air April 4 on TNT and TBS.

Sia deletes Twitter account amid new wave of 'Music' criticism from autism rights advocates

On the heels of her directorial debut's two Golden Globes nominations this week, Sia has apologized again to the autism community for her film, "Music," and deactivated her Twitter account. In a series of tweets prior to her deletion of the whole feed, the singer said she's "been listening" to critics on matters ranging from her casting of a neurotypical actor (Maddie Ziegler) as a nonverbal autistic person to scenes that feature the character in restraints. "I promise, have been listening," she tweeted, per Variety. "The motion picture MUSIC will, moving forward, have this warning at the head of the movie," Sia tweeted, followed by the warning, which reads: 'MUSIC in no way condones or recommends the use of restraint on autistic people. There are autistic occupational therapists that specialize in sensory processing who can be consulted to explain safe ways to provide proprioceptive, deep-pressure feedback to help w meltdown safety.'" In another tweet, she wrote, "I'm sorry," and added, "I plan to remove the restraint scenes from all future printings," she wrote. "I listened to the wrong people and that is my responsibility, my research was clearly not thorough enough, not wide enough." After that, her twitter was deactivated. Autusm rights groups have also called Sia out for some of the terminology used in the film and for potentially "exercising undue privilege by making a film centering on autism," according to Variety. In response to the backlash last fall, she tweeted that "Music," which also stars Kate Hudson, :is both a love letter to caregivers and to the autism community." "Music" is due out in select IMAX theaters on Feb. 10.

Jamie Lee Curtis celebrates 22 years of sobriety

Jamie Lee Curtis is now 22 years sober. The "Knives Out" star, 62, announced the anniversary on Wednesday, Feb. 3, sharing an Instagram photo of herself seated before what appears to be a bottle of tequila, a glass of the booze in her hand. "A LONG time ago… In a galaxy far, far away… I was a young STAR at WAR with herself. I didn't know it then. I chased everything. I kept it hidden. I was a sick as my secrets," Jamie captioned the shot. "With God's grace and the support of MANY people who could relate to all the 'feelings' and a couple of sober angels…I've been able to stay sober, one day at a time, for 22 years. I was a high bottom, pun kind of intended, so the rare photo of me proudly drinking in a photo op is very useful to help me remember. Florence Welch sends 'love and support' to others as she marks her seventh sober anniversary

Jamie Lee Curtis isn't the only star in recovery who's celebrating a sobriety birthday this week. On Tuesday, Feb. 2, Florence and the Machine's Florence Welch, 34, shared a painting of a "7" with a heart around it on Instagram. "I am 7 years sober today. I send my love and support to anyone who is struggling," she wrote alongside the image. "If you are feeling shaky around ED issues, drugs or alcohol, I completely understand" she continued. "The desire to disassociate is so strong. But please don't give up. We are going to need you on the other side.♥️ x X." The singer detailed her history of substance abuse and eating disorders in a candid essay for British Vogue in 2019, explaining that "eating disorders are rife" in her family and describing how she always struggled with the worry that she, "was wrong, that I was not good enough, not smart enough, not thin enough." At the time, she wrote that "the judgment choir … still sings now, though not as loudly or as often," and that when she is confronted by those anxieties she does her best not to "self-medicate" with alcohol "or starvation."

Denzel Washington on why law enforcement officials have his 'utmost respect'

Over the course of his Oscar-winning career, Denzel Washington has played a whole lot of cop characters — 13, to be exact. The latest comes with his new thriller, "The Little Things," which sees him playing a "disgraced" sheriff's deputy on the trail of a serial killer. And as the 66-yar-old told Yahoo in a recent interview, he has nothing but love and support for police officers, in spite of America's ongoing issues with racially fueled police brutality. "I have the utmost respect for what they do, for what our soldiers do, [people] that sacrifice their lives," he said. "I just don't care for people who put those kind of people down. If it weren't for them, we would not have the freedom to complain about what they do." Denzel went on to recall how his experience on a ride-along with a sergeant showed him firsthand how essential the work of police can be. "We got a call of a man outside his house with a rifle that was distraught," he recalled. "… He told me to sit in the car, which I was gonna do. I wasn't getting out. He got out. As he got out, another car came screaming up and two young people jumped out screaming. As it turned out, it was their grandfather. This policeman defused the entire situation by just remaining calm." He added: "But it showed me in an instant how they can lose their life. … He didn't overreact. Phoebe Bridgers slams Marilyn Manson's band, label, management for being complicit in his allegedly abusive behavior

Singer Phoebe Bridgers, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and burlesque star Dita Von Teese have all weighed in on allegations that surfaced this week from at least six women claiming Marilyn Manson abused them sexually, physically and/or psychologically. "I went to Marilyn Manson's house when I was a teenager with some friends. I was a big fan," Phoebe shared on Twitter on Thursday, Feb. 3 (per People). "He referred to a room in his house as the 'r*pe room', I thought it was just his horrible frat boy sense of humor. I stopped being a fan. I stand with everyone who came forward," she said. "The label knew, management knew, the band knew." Dita, who was married to Marilyn, posted that the stories coming out, "do not match my personal experience during our 7 years together as a couple," then urged, "those of you who have incurred abuse to take steps to heal and the strength to fully realize yourself." Earlier this week, Trent shared a statement with Pitchfork in which he reiterated previous denouncements of the singer and denied a claim in Marilyn's memoir that the two assaulted a woman together. The story came from a magazine interview that was never published due to what the book describes as "unethical interview procedures in order to extract information from Mr. Manson." Marilyn, meanwhile, denied any allegations of wrong doing in a statement on social media in which he called the claims "horrible distortions of reality."

Vow renewals seem romantic, but are they really just a curse? According to some famous couples, they might be! Wonderwall.com is rounding up all the stars pairing who've split after having glamorous vow renewals. First up? Seal and Heidi Klum didn't just tie the knot once — they did it nearly every year they were married! They wed in Mexico in May 2005 and went on to renew their vows every year to mark their anniversary. They announced their split in January 2012… after six vow renewals. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony wed in 2004 and opted to say those important vows once more in 2010. But just one year after they renewed their vows, the superstar couple announced they were divorcing.

A vow renewal certainly didn't work out for our next couple. Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner married in 1991 and famously renewed their vows during a family vacation in Bora Bora in 2011. But in 2013, the couple ended up going their separate ways, with Caitlyn famously opening up about transitioning from male to female in 2015.

Despite being married for seven years, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher's vow renewal halfway through didn't stick. The couple, who famously had 15 years between them, divorced in 2013, three years after they reportedly renewed their vows in Israel.

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum from "The Bachelorette" originally married back in 2012 as cameras rolled for an ABC wedding special. In August 2018, they opted to renew their vows in Aruba as part of a promotional event for the Aruba Tourism Authority and documented the experience on Instagram. But the renewal didn't stick: A little more than two years later, the two split. In October 2020, they announced that after eight years of marriage, they were separating.

Josh Duhamel and Fergie hadn't even been married for a year with Josh surprised his wife with a vow renewal ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. The two exchanged vows once again on the night before their first wedding anniversary in a private ceremony by the ocean in 2010. Unfortunately, the two split eight years later, announcing in September 2017 that they were parting ways.

Ramona Singer and Mario Singer opted to renew their vows on camera for season 3 of "The Real Housewives of New York City" in honor of their 17th wedding anniversary in 2009. Unfortunately, their love didn't last. Just three years later, the two split — due largely to Mario's alleged infidelity. Their divorce was finalized in 2016.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom married in 2009. For their one-year anniversary, they opted to seal the deal a second time and have a vow renewal. Unfortunately, three years after that, Khloe filed for divorce.

Four years after their original nuptials at Scotland's Skibo Castle, Madonna and Guy Ritchie renewed their wedding vows in a much lower key event in England. That second ceremony was Kabbalah-based and took place exactly four years after their original Dec. 22, 2000, nuptials. They split in 2008.

One of the more infamous post-vow-renewal splits has to be between "The Real Housewives of Orange County" couple Shannon Beador and David Beador. After audiences watched David's infidelity unfold on season 10, season 11 brought a vow renewal planned by David himself in 2016. A year later and things were officially over, with Shannon filing for divorce in December 2017.

On "Jon & Kate Plus 8," Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin — who married in 1999 — famously renewed their vows on an episode of their hit TLC reality show that aired in November 2008. A year later, the parents of sextuplets and twins announced that they were divorcing.

In 2008, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon tied the knot after dating for just two months. After that, they followed in Heidi Klum and Seal's footsteps with frequent vow renewals — every year of their marriage, to be exact. That came to an abrupt halt in 2014, when, after five previous renewals, they didn't say "I do" again — and rumors of a split swirled. They ultimately split later that year.

We watched Cynthia Bailey marry Peter Thomas not once but twice on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." First in 2010 on season 3, then once again in a surprise vow renewal in Anguilla in 2012. But five years later in 2017, the couple officially called it quits.

Elizabeth Hurley married Indian textile heir Arun Nayar in 2007 after five years of dating. The couple wed not once but twice — first in an English castle and later in an elaborate Hindu ceremony in Arun's hometown in India. Unfortunately, the two weddings didn't help their union — the couple separated in 2010.

The OG of the OC herself, "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson, celebrated her 15th anniversary with Donn Gunvalson with a beach vow renewal in 2009. But less than a year later, they ended their marriage. Their divorce was finalized in 2014.

While Kim Kardashian West was enjoying the sun and surf in Turks and Caicos on a family girls trip in recent days, her husband, Kanye West reportedly began moving personal items out of their home in Calabasas, Calif. The move comes amid ongoing talk of an impending divorce for the two, who tied the knot in 2014 and share four children. "They both felt it would be less dramatic without both of them in the house," a source told Page Six on Wednesday, Feb. 3. The insider said Kanye didn't take all his belongings, but did take his massive sneaker collection with him from the home, prompting some new questions about photos Kim shared on Instagram over the weekend that showed her wearing a bikini and a pair of Yeezy Crocs. On Monday, an Instagram Story post from Kim in which she showed off a new SKIMS showroom in her house also generated buzz among fans who thought the space looked like Kanye's closet, which was featured in his appearance on David Letterman's "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction."

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced its nominees for this year's Golden Globes Awards on Wednesday, Feb. 3, revealing who's up for what when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler reunite from New York City and Los Angeles, respectively, to co-host the awards ceremony for the fourth time on Feb. 28. Leading the charge in nominations this year, Netflix snagged 42 nominations in total. Anya Taylor-Joy is up for both a film award ("Emma") and a TV win ("The Queen's Gambit"), while Sacha Baron-Cohen picked up acting nods for "The Trial of the Chicago 7″ and "Borat Subsequent Moviefilm," as well as a producer shout-out for "Borat." Meanwhile, this year's rather homogenous, at times, confusing list generated some backlash among critics. Time.com published its 11 picks for "the weirdest Golden Globes nominations," while outlets like the New York Times and Yahoo wondered how it was that the acclaimed "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" and Spike Lee's "Da 5 Bloods" either got no love in key categories ("Rainey") or no love at all ("Bloods"). Lizzo's inspiring self-care routine features daily love affirmations for her belly

In addition to the musical talent that netted her eight Grammy nominations and three wins last year, Lizzo is becoming a master in the art of self-love. But as the singer frequently reminds social media followers, loving yourself takes work — and she puts that work in every day. The latest example popped up on Lizzo's Instagram this week in the form of a ritual she shared in which she talks to the part of her body she once "hated so much" she wanted to get rid of it. "I started talking to my belly this year. Blowing her kisses and showering her with praises," Lizzo wrote alongside a video of herself in Savage x Fenty undies, standing before her bathroom mirror, on Tuesday, Feb. 2. She went on to confess how she wanted to just delete that part of her body. "But it's literally ME," she wrote. "I am learning to radically love every part of myself. Sean Penn reprimands CORE employees who complained about long hours at vaccination site: Report

In the comments beneath a New York Times article about Sean Penn's vaccination work via his CORE nonprofit, two people claiming to be employees of the organization complained about the work conditions at Dodger Stadium, where CORE has been helping the city of Los Angeles conduct a mass vaccination event. The employees reportedly cited nearly 24 hour-long shifts and little to no break time, calling the conditions potentially illegal and definitely exhausting. On Wednesday, Feb. 3, the Los Angeles Times published excerpts from what the outlet says is a leaked, 2,200 word letter from Sean to CORE employees in response. Per TMZ, the actor slammed the comments as "shameful entries," though he reportedly acknowledged shifts were longer than usual right now. "And to whoever authored these," he wrote, referencing the comments, "… understand that in every cell of my body is a vitriol for the way your actions reflect so harmfully upon your brothers and sisters in arms." He reportedly continued: "I have taken counsel and here will refrain from using the words with which I would otherwise choose to describe the character of your actions."

Last year, Dolly Parton donated $1 million towards research that led the development of Moderna's coronavirus vaccine. Now, she's 75, and eligible in her home state of Tennessee to get the vaccination she helped make possible. So has she gotten the shots? "No," she told the Associated Press in a new interview published this week. "I'm not going to get mine until some more people get theirs. I don't want it to look like I'm jumping the line just because I donated money." Which is not to say she's skipping her shot. "I was going to do it on my birthday, and I thought, Nah, don't do that. You'll look like you're just doing a show,'" she explained. "None of my work is really like that. I wasn't doing it for a show. I'm going to get mine. I want it," Dolly continued. Turns out the rumors were true! Last summer, the Instagram account Deux Moi posted multiple tidbits indicating Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers had moved on from Danica Patrick with actress Shailene Woodley. Now, both E! News and People have confirmed the two are indeed an item. "They have kept things private and low key," a source tells E!. The low key aspect of their romance has likely gotten an assist by the fact that the two continue to live in different cities, with Aaron "very focused on his season" in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Shailene spending time recently on the set of "Misanthrope" in Montreal. "They continue to talk and see each other when they can. They are both focused on their careers but they also make time for each other," says E!'s insider. A People source echoed those sentiments, telling the outlet the relationship remains "casual." But Aaron sounded pretty happy with the state of his love life in September, when he said on the "Pat McAfee Show" that a "lot of things that have come together in my life over the last few months that have really been enjoyable." He added at the time: "That's why I'm having so much fun and it starts with love. And then surrounding yourself with people that you really enjoy."

Ramona Singer reportedly visited Mar-a-Lago, St. Barts during 'RHONY' COVID-19 shutdown

Ramona Singer appears to be making quite the travel season out of her show's current COVID-19-forced hiatus. Following a report last week claiming the "Real Housewives of New York City" star flew to St. Barts when the show was put on hold because a cast member tested positive for COVID-19, Page Six is now reporting Ramona also squeezed in a hangout session at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort over the weekend. Meanwhile, her show is stuck in its second virus-related delay since the pandemic began. In October, production hit a snag when a crew member tested positive. According to Deadline, the whole franchise has a pretty rough track record for avoiding the virus. Prior to the unnamed "RHONY" star's diagnosis, at least eight cast members from various cities have reportedly tested positive. Those numbers probably explain why Bravo reportedly "begged" the "RHONY" cast to stay home during the filming hiatus. "Producers asked them to stay in New York state, and they all bolted," a source told Page Six. Another insider said Luann de Lesseps "and a few supporting cast members" have also traveled to Florida since production on the show was halted. On Sunday, France announced the borders of all Caribbean territories, including St. Barts, would be temporarily closed to visitors due to spiking coronavirus numbers.

Anderson Cooper, Dr. Oz and more celebs join growing list of 'Jeopardy!' guest hosts

In a move that's already generating some skepticism from critics, "Jeopardy!" has added a whole roster of new, seemingly unconnected guest hosts to its lineup. As of Wednesday, Feb. 3, those include Anderson Cooper, who previously appeared as a guest on the show prior to Alex Trebek's death, along with Savannah Guthrie, Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Sanjay Gupta. The latest group joins a cadre of celebs including Aaron Rodgers, Bill Whitaker, Mayim Bialik and Katie Couric, whose recent comments about Donald Trump to Bill Maher reportedly has producers concerned, given the "Jeopardy!" audience's tendency to skew older and more conservative. Each celebrity host is also set to pick a charity that will receive a donation equal to the money won by contestants during the star's tenure on the show. No dates or charities have been announced yet.

Britney Spears' social media manager addresses 'conspiracy theories' about singer's posts

Given Britney Spears' ongoing conservatorship court battle and the sometimes cryptic nature of her social media posts, the singer's fans have long expressed concern that she may not be in control of her Instagram. According to her social media manager, however, Britney is very much in charge of her own feed and what goes on it. On Tuesday, Feb. 2, Crowd Surf cofounder Cassie Petrey shared a long Instagram post in which she addressed what she described as "inaccurate theories out there" about how Britney's "social media operates." After opening with praise for the singer's fanbase — and a comment about overlooking "the nasty comments that have been thrown my way over the years" — Cassie claimed, "Britney creates her own posts and writes her own captions for Instagram." She said Britney makes requests about edits for her videos, and while the social media team makes the changes, Britney determines whether the final product gets posted. "She has stated many times that she creates the posts, but people continue to believe conspiracy theories over what Britney says," Cassie wrote. "Britney is not 'asking for help' or leaving secret messages in her social media. She is literally just living her life and trying to have fun on Instagram."

AJ McLean thinks Scientologists tried to 'brainwash' him when he visited the organization's Celebrity Centre

AJ McLean believes members of the Church of Scientology attempted to "brainwash" him when he visited the organization's Celebrity Centre in the early 2000s. He discussed his experience on his "Pretty Messed Up" podcast this week with guest Leah Remini, who's been working for years to expose the church for its allegedly abusive treatment of those involved. Per TooFab, AJ recalled that in 2002 or 2003 he lived, "right down the street" from the center. He hadn't explored it but when someone at a Grammy part encouraged him to visit, he decided to check it out. "I didn't know what it was, I didn't know anything about it. But I wanted to not go alone, so I took a friend with me," he shared. "We got a tour of the facility and they brought us to this media room and they sat us down and they said, 'Would you mind watching this short film?'" They watched the film, which he recalled was "about 15 minutes long." At the end, he said the pair tried to leave but found the door was locked. "They wouldn't let us out and they replayed the same film again," the singer said. "We didn't get out of that room for about 15 minutes [or longer]. "I've tried, like so many women out there, I've tried fads and diets and things before and I'm like, I need to do a really holistic approach to this, this time," she said at the beginning of 2020. "My diet was mainly all carbs. Which were delicious but for my body type, I needed to eat a lot more protein."

She told People magazine she was eating 3,000 calories a day before changing her lifestyle.

"Before I was probably eating 3,000 calories most days, and because they were normally carbs, I would still be hungry," she said. "So, I've really changed to eating a high-protein diet, which is challenging because I didn't used to eat a lot of meat."

She added, "It doesn't mean every week is a healthy week. Some weeks are just write offs, and there's nothing you can do about that."

A New York-based fitness instructor with very, very famous clientele is in hot water after claiming she was an "educator" in order to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

On Feb. 1, Stacey Griffith, a SoulCycle instructor who has taught the likes of Oprah, Kelly Ripa and Brooke Shields, apologized for seemingly jumping the line.

"I want to apologize from the bottom of my heart for my recent action in receiving the vaccine," she said in an Instagram post. "I made a terrible error in judgment and for that I am truly sorry."

According to reports, Stacey, who's appeared on a slew of morning shows over the years, presented herself as an "educator" on the sign-in forms.

The morning of her inoculation, the 52-year-old trainer happily posted about "Vaccine Day" on social media.

"Step one of the Moderna magic!! One hour drive to STATEN ISLAND worth every minute! It takes a village," she said in the since-deleted post. "Now I can teach @soulcycle with a little more faith that we're all gonna be OK."

Currently in New York, those eligible for the vaccine include people older than 65, teachers and school staff, in-person college instructors, child care workers, first responders, public transit workers, frontline workers and people working/living in group homeless shelters. Stacey checks none of those boxes.

Before her apology, the fitness guru spoke to The Daily Beast and tried to argue that she is, in fact, an "educator."

"In my profession of health and wellness as a teacher, it's my priority daily to keep my community and their respiratory systems operating at full capacity so they can beat this virus if they are infected by it," she said last week. "I can only teach to them if I am healthy myself."

Stacey also said she "had the same opportunity everyone else has by going online and filling out a questionnaire" and insisted she didn't call in any "favors" or pay money to get the vaccine. At the time — again, before the apology — she maintained that she did nothing wrong and said she took her Instagram post down due to the negativity in the comments section about her getting inoculated while others are still waiting.

"I hate controversy," she said. "It saddens me that people go so dark and mean, I'm really just trying to do the right thing and be safe."

The controversy even caught the attention of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

"Doesn't sound like someone who should've gotten vaccinated to me," he said in a press conference. "I don't think someone who shows up and says, 'Hey, I'm a SoulCycle instructor' should have qualified unless there's some other factor there. That should have been caught in the application process."

In the meantime, Angelina's been enjoying the rare downtime she's had recently with her kids at home in Los Angeles — she bought Charlie Chaplin's old house in part because the kids' dad, Brad "is only five minutes away," she says. This fall, she returns to the big screen in Marvel's "Eternals." "Running around in a gold bodysuit was not how I imagined my forties," Angelina jokes. "But it's good crazy, I think."

Dolly Parton turned down the Presidential Medal Medal of Freedom twice — and she might do it again

The first time Donald Trump's administration offered Dolly Parton the Presidential Medal of Freedom, she declined — not because of partisan politics but because, as she said on the Tuesday, Feb. 2 edition of "Today," her "her husband was ill." The administration asked her again but by then, the coronavirus pandemic was in full tilt. "I wouldn't travel because of COVID," Dolly recalled. More recently, President Joe Biden's reached out to the legendary singer-songwriter about the prestigious award. But she has some reservations, given her track record and the polarized state of the country right now. "Now I feel like if I take it, I'll be doing politics, so I'm not sure," said the 75-year-old. But I don't work for those awards," she continued. "It'd be nice but I'm not sure that I even deserve it," Dolly added. "But it's a nice compliment for people to think that I might deserve it." Judge slams Nick Loeb's appeal in embryo case against Sofia Vergara as 'abhorrent'

Sofia Vergara's ex-fiance, Nick Loeb, has once again hit a wall in his legal battle for custody rights to frozen pre-embryos the former couple created back in 2013. Last week, a Louisiana court upheld a previous decision to dismiss Nick's lawsuit, People reported on Tuesday, Feb. 2. The court also reversed a previous order that allowed discovery to remain sealed in the case. Now, documents related to evidence in the case will be unsealed and made public. Nick began fighting Sofia over the pre-embryos in Louisiana, where embryos can have rights, years ago. In 2019, a judge found his claims to be a resident of the state to be questionable. In the latest ruling, a judge wrote that Nick and his lawyers "engaged in forum shopping." In other words, knowing the suit should have been filed in California where both parties live and created the pre-embryos, they looked for a sympathetic place to file. (Production on Sofia's cop film, "Hot Pursuit," began in New Orleans in May 2014, the same month she and Nick called off their engagement.) The judge added that filing suit in Louisiana for improper reasons, "brings disrepute to and makes a mockery of the Louisiana legal system … and is abhorrent." Meanwhile, Sofia's 2017 request in a California court to legally block Nick from using their frozen pre-embryos without her written consent is still pending, according to People. An attorney for Nick told People they plan to appeal to the Louisiana Supreme Court.

Hal Holbrook remembered as 'a giant,' 'a class act' and 'a glorious actor of endless charm'

"The world has lost a class act." So said Steven Spielberg to Variety this week in response to news of Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor Hal Holbrook's death. Others in Hollywood praised the late star for his work on films like, "All the President's Men," "Wall Street" and "Into The Wild." Like Spielberg, many of Holbrook's former costars and peers also paid tribute to his character. "We lost another giant today" "Seinfeld" alum Jason Alexander tweeted. He went on to describe the late actor as "a glorious actor of endless charm and dignity and from all accounts a fine and decent gentleman who brought grace and light to his work and his colleagues and his audiences." Holbrook passed away on Jan. 23 at his home in Beverly Hills. He was 95.

Chadwick Boseman picks up two NAACP Image Award nominations

Chadwick Boseman continues to pick up awards season love for his final two performances. The late star, who passed away last year at age 43 following a private battle with cancer, was nominated by the NAACP Image Awards for his work on both "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom" and Spike Lee's "Da 5 Bloods," according to the Associated Press. He's already been honored with at least a dozen awards for the same roles by organizations around the country. In January, the National Board of Review recognized his career's worth of acclaimed contributions with a posthumous Icon Award. The NAACP Image Awards air on March 27 on CBS.

As far as Salma Hayek's concerned, Hilaria Baldwin can trace her roots wherever she likes — she's a "good person," Salma said, and that's way more important than where she's from. Speaking to Andy Cohen this week on his SiriusXM Radio show, Salma, who's counted Alec Baldwin as a close friend for many years, weighed in on a controversy that surfaced in December regarding the heritage — and occasional Spanish accent — of Alec's wife, Hilaria. Born "Hilary" and raised in Boston, the yoga instructor and TV personality has since clarified that her family spent time in Spain when she was growing up. As a result, she told the New York Times in December, she speaks with an amalgam of Spanish and Americanized English. "We all lie a little bit," said Salma, who was born in Mexico (via ET). "She makes my friend happy. … She fooled me because she's such a good mother and she has five of them. And you know, I don't care." Salma also pointed out that she's not of just one heritage herself. "I am Mexican, Lebanese, but my grandparents, my ancestors on my mother's side, are Spanish," Salma explained. "I think she's smart to want to be Spanish. We're cool, you know? Prince Harry announces Invictus Games will be postponed for a second year in a row

In the early days of the pandemic last spring, Prince Harry announced the 2020 Invictus Games, due to take place in the Hague in May, would be postponed. The new date was set for May 2021. But this week, Harry and the other organizers of the event announced they've been forced to delay the games again, due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19 around the world. "To the key workers on the frontlines in the battle against the pandemic, we are with you. And when the world is ready, we will compete," he said in a social media video posted to the Invictus Games' social media accounts on Tuesday, Feb. 2. "For so many around the world, the Invictus community included, COVID-19 has changed our expectations, hopes, and plans," Harry added in a joint statement with two of his co-organizers, Mart de Kruif and Keith Mills, per Vanity Fair. "But our unwavering mission is one bound by resilience and community — and that mission will continue to shine through between now and Spring 2022, when we hope to see everybody in person again in The Hague." The announcement comes after Harry pledged on Monday that the damages he recently won in a court battle with the publisher of the Daily Mail regarding his military service would be donated to the Invictus Games Foundation.

On Monday, Feb. 1, Evan Rachel Wood went public with allegations singer Marilyn Manson groomed her and abused her physically, sexually and psychologically during their years-long relationship. Her statement sparked at least four other women to come forward with similar allegations, all of which the rocker, whose real name is Brian Warner, has categorically denied. But Jenna Jameson tells the Daily Mail, she, too, found Warner to be violent when they dated briefly in 1997. "We didn't go out long because I cut it off after he would nonchalantly say he fantasized about burning me alive," she told the Mail. "Once he started speaking to me violently, I was like … goodbye, Brian … Also the bruises from him biting me weren't fun." She added, "He is a lot. To say the least." In Woods' statement on social media, she detailed her alleged experiences of being "horrifically abused," "brainwashed and manipulated into submission," by Warner, whom she began dating in 2007 when she was 19 and he was 38. In his own social media statement, Warner called the accusations, "horrible distortions of reality" and insisted his "intimate relationships have always been consensual with like-minded partners." Wood, by the way, has discussed her surviving abuse and sexual assault under oath, having testified about it before Congress in 2018. She did not name her abuser at the time, though. Since she went public with Warner's name, both his record label, Loma Vista, and his talent agency, CAA, have reportedly dropped him.

Mariah Carey's sister is taking her to court over stories the singer included in her bestselling 2020 memoir, "The Meaning of Mariah Carey." According to Page Six, Alison Carey has filed suit a $1.25 million lawsuit against her younger sibling on grounds Mariah caused Alison "immense emotional distress" with what she describes as the star's "heartless, vicious, vindictive, despicable and totally unnecessary public humiliation of her profoundly damaged older sister." In her book, Mariah writes that when she was 12 and Alison was 20, Alison drugged Mariah then sent her out on a dangerous car ride with an older boy who was carrying a gun. The lawsuit, filed Monday, Feb. 1, also calls out Mariah for accusing Alison of having once burned her with boiling tea in the book. Alison says she "disputes" many of Mariah's claims about her but was never given a chance to respond to them before the book went to press. She also accuses Mariah of having used the family's painful past "to promote the sale of her book," despite knowing Alison was already "damaged" psychologically by other abuse she allegedly suffered at the hands of their mother. She says that she's now battling alcohol abuse issues again after a long period sobriety. Alison, who is representing herself in the case, adds that she got no response to a settlement offer sent to Mariah's lawyers last month. As of Monday, Mariah's reps had not commented publicly on the lawsuit.

The three-night "girls trip" also included Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and their daughters, as well as Rob Kardashian's daughter, according to People. E! News reported Kylie's pals Stassie Karanikolaou and Victoria Villarroel also joined the large group on the trip, photos from which both Kylie and Kim posted on their social media accounts. They made the trip in spite of state safety regulations requesting Californians not to travel "more than 120 miles from their home or other place of residence and avoid non-essential travel," per California.gov.

Angelina Jolie is preparing to sell a painting described as Winston Churchill's "most important work" at an upcoming Christie's auction. Entitled "Tower of the Koutoubia Mosque," the piece — an image of a mosque in Marrakech at sunset — was purchased by Angelina and her then-partner Brad Pitt back in 2011, and is expected to go for $2.1 million to $3.4 million, according to the Associated Press. The painting's significant for a number of reasons. Churchill — an amateur but prolific artist — reportedly painted it after he and President Franklin D. Roosevelt traveled to Marrakech following the 1943 Casablanca Conference, where the two leaders devised their game plan for defeating Nazi Germany and eventually ending World War II. The AP also notes it's the only piece Churchill completed during the war. Angelina and Brad separated in 2016 and were declared divorced in 2019 via a bifurcated judgment. They're still hashing out the details of their settlement with regard to custody and other matters. A rep for Christie's told the AP the historic art work could "set a new record for a Churchill piece" when it hits the auction block in London on March 1.

In the wake of Evan Rachel Wood's public statement alleging Marilyn Manson "horrifically abused" her during their relationship from 2007 until 2010, the "Westworld" star — along with four other women who have come forward alleging the singer abused them physically and sexually — has been widely praised online for her courage in speaking out. "I stand with Evan Rachel Wood and other brave women who have come forward," Rose McGowan wrote on Twitter on Monday, Feb. 1, just hours after Evan's post. The singer responded to the allegations on Monday evening, by which time his record label, Loma Vista, had already dropped him. "My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how – and why – others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth."

How Twitter bullying inspired Robin Wright's directorial debut, 'Land'

When Robin Wright set out to make "Land," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday, Jan. 31, it was in response to the growing problem of social media bullying. "I wanted to make a movie at that time because there was so much pain in our country. … Just the ugliness that was going on in the world with, you know, the explosion of Twitter," Robin explained over the weekend at one of Sundance's Cinema Cafe talks (via Page Six). "Everybody was a judge and there was so much bullying going on. I thought about the effect that had on children, and how that's changing, psychologically, our cellular makeup. All this darkness and meanness," the first-time director said. The result was "Land," which features Robin, 54, as a woman whose decision to go off the grid into the mountains after facing a personal tragedy ultimately shows her how much she actually needs the support of others. "You need human connection and kindness to pull you through adversity," she said. As Robin points out in a "Meet the Artist" video on the Sundance Institute's YouTube Channel, the movie's themes, including "survival" and "the necessity of human connection," feel "even more resonant today" than they did two and a half years ago when filming began. "Land" hits theaters Feb. 12.

Tony Bennett's family confirmed in an extensive feature for AARP the magazine published Monday, Feb. 1, that the legendary jazz singer was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2016. And while the piece shines a light on how the progressive form of dementia is already taking a toll on Tony's memory and ability to engage with others, it also paints a picture of a 94-year-old whose musical talent remains intact. In fact, Tony has already recorded a new album with Lady Gaga, his collaborator on the chart-topping 2014 recording, "Cheek To Cheek." The music was recorded between 2018 and 2020, and left Gaga in tears in the studio on at least one occasion, as she came to terms with the changes in her friend and mentor due to his illness. Joe Giudice in talks to create a reality show about his life in Italy: Report

Joe Giudice could be heading back to reality TV. The former "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star is in talks with a production company about developing a series focused on his new life in Italy, TMZ reported this week. The show would reportedly be a solo venture, without any involvement from Joe's ex, Teresa Giudice, or Bravo. It sounds like Joe's still in the early stages of negotiating a possible deal, though, and has yet to begin the process of shopping around for a network or streaming service to take the show on. The 48-year-old relocated to Italy in October 2019, following his release from prison into an ICE detention center. Joe was born in Saronno, Italy, and grew up in New Jersey, having moved to the U.S. with his parents as a baby. Since he never became an American citizen, he became eligible for deportation after pleading guilty, with Teresa, to conspiracy to commit bankruptcy fraud and wire and mail fraud in 2014.

Tori Spelling shares moving tribute to 'first onscreen love,' Dustin Diamond

Former "Saved By the Bell" star Dustin Diamond died early Monday, Feb. 1, less than a month after he was he was hospitalized and diagnosed with stage 4 small cell carcinoma, commonly referred to as lung cancer. His death at age 44 stunned many of his famous friends and former colleagues, including Tori Spelling, who shared a long and moving tribute to the actor on social media. "My 1st onscreen love Dustin Diamond got his Angel wings today…," wrote Tori, who worked with Dustin on "Saved By the Bell" in the early '90s. "Before there was David and Donna there was Screech and Violet. Dustin was my first onscreen kiss," she continued. "He welcomed me with open arms onto the set of Saved By the Bell. As one can imagine being the newbie on a hit show was overwhelming for a 14 year old girl. He not only showed me around but made sure I was always ok. Such a young gentleman. He was kind, smart, and always making everyone laugh. He was a great scene partner. He was a really good guy. I'm sad after the show we never had much contact aside from occasionally running into each other at events. I'm glad he's out of pain. He's an icon to me professionally and personally. RIP Samuel love, your Violet."

Gayle King reveals her daughter got married at Oprah Winfrey's home in December

Gayle King is "glowing" and "over the moon" after she was finally able to announce on "CBS This Morning" on Monday, Feb. 1, that her daughter, Kirby Bumpus, tied the knot with Virgil Miller at the end of December. The tiny, COVID-19-safe wedding took place at the home of Kirby's godmother and Gayle's longtime bestie, Oprah Winfrey. And the guest list was limited to the bride and groom, Gayle, Oprah and Stedman Graham and Gayle's son, Will, who officiated, Gayle confirmed to Oprahmag.com. "It wasn't the wedding we planned, but it was absolutely perfect," Gayle told the outlet. The mother and godmother of the bride helped Kirby with dress fittings on Zoom, rather than in person, because of the pandemic, Gayle explained, adding that she stayed outside Oprah's Santa Barbara home rather than helping Kirby get ready for the big day, though it was "tough" for her not to help. After the ceremony, the group reportedly enjoyed socially distant dancing and hors d'oeuvres. "My son, Will, says, 'We call ourselves a tripod, and that day with Virgil, we became a perfect square,'" the journalist shared. "Kirby really is so happy, and nothing beats when your children are happy." Kirby and Will's dad is Gayle's ex-husband, William Bumpus.

John Krasinski gave his daughters a sartorial shout-out on 'SNL'

Best dad ever? The 6 and 4-year-old daughters John Krasinski sharesd with Emily Blunt got some onscreen love from their father during his first-ever "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig over the weekend. "The Office" alum's stylist revealed that for the final scene of the show on Saturday, Jan. 30, he was dressed with a nod to his kids, Hazel and Violet. "John wanted to have his daughters' initials monogrammed on his shirt for SNL goodnight looks ❤️," Ilaria Urbinati wrote on Instagram on Sunday. "#GirlDad."

So long, Screech. On Feb. 1, Dustin Diamond, who famously played Screech on "Saved by the Bell," died at 44 just a few weeks after he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. His dad and girlfriend were reportedly by his side when he passed away. Many in Hollywood — including his "Saved by the Bell" castmates — paid tribute to the nostalgia-inducing actor on social media. "Dustin, you will be missed my man. The fragility of this life is something never to be taken for granted. Prayers for your family will continue on," "Bell" co-star Mario Lopez teeted. Mario spoke at length about their relationship — they'd spoked just a few weeks earlier — in an interview with Variety, saying of Dustin, "He was iconic. … His little looks and facial expressions and voice and the way it cracked, it was just the quintessential goofy, lovable fun nerd [character on 'Bell'] and it really resonated with the kids. And that was all him; he was kind of like Screech in real life. … He was an integral part of the chemistry and the comedy, and I don't know if it would have worked without him." From the calming nature of Nancy Meyers' signature aesthetically pleasing interiors to the combo of Meryl Streep and Steve Martin, "It's Complicated" is the perfect flick to turn on so you can zone out. Meryl plays Jane, the owner of a bakery in beautiful Santa Barbara, California, who's renovating her home when she finds herself stuck between ex-husband Jake (played by Alec Baldwin) and architect Adam (played by Steve). This one snags extra points for John Krasinski's sweet character Harley and the delicious treats from Jane's bakery. Stream this one on Peacock now.

"Happy Endings" had a short run on ABC, but its dedicated fanbase proves that this sitcom was taken from us way too soon. All three seasons of this ensemble comedy are now available on Hulu for new fans to follow this funny friend group. Aside from the dynamics of the six main characters, it also serves as an awesome time capsule of early 2010s fashion and pop culture.

Feeling nostalgic for frat parties and sorority drama? "Greek," which debuted in 2007 and ran for four seasons, follows a group of co-eds involved in the Greek system at the fictional Cyprus-Rhodes University. With plenty of drama and romance, it's the perfect escape if you're missing red Solo cups and the power dynamics of sorority life. Catch this one on Hulu or Freeform anytime.

We could all use a little dash of Christmas magic in our lives these days… no matter the season. And "The Holiday" provides some festive cheer with plenty of eye candy in the form of Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Jack Black (who doesn't love Miles?). You can stream this one on Peacock anytime.

The Roses are guaranteed to brighten your spirits… and have you wishing you could visit the real "Schitt's Creek." This Canadian sitcom has captivated audiences and critics alike — it swept the 2020 Primetime Emmys (winning all of the top seven comedy awards) with its tale of the wealthy family's fall from grace. Even though the show ended after its sixth season, fortunately, we call all drop in on the Rose family anytime on Netflix.

Brought to you by one of the writers of "The Office," "Superstore" sets a quirky work family in a big box store called "Cloud 9" in Missouri. America Ferrera stars in the series that's currently airing its sixth and final season. You can get caught up on this charming, light sitcom as it streams on Hulu.

Need a lift? "Grace and Frankie" has six seasons filled with uplifting and hilarious episodes about Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin's characters' unlikely friendship. The duo are brought together after their husbands announce they're gay and in a relationship in the pilot episode, and we've loved every minute that followed. Find out what all the fuss is about with this Netflix series — which has already garnered tons of Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy nominations and still has one final season to come.

Missing your extended family? Get your fix with ABC's "Modern Family"! The popular sitcom lasted for 11 seasons for a reason — the Pritchetts and Dunphys provided plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments over the years. We watched the younger stars grow up before our very eyes (Ariel Winter was just 11 when the show started!), and when the series wrapped in early 2020, we knew we'd miss this zany cast of characters. Stream it now on Peacock.

Back in March 2020, Disney released "Frozen II" on its Disney+ streaming service three months earlier than planned as a way to help us all get through the early days of the coronavirus pandemic. Lucky for us, this sweet tale of sisters is still available on the streaming service to watch whenever you want! It's a film with heart thanks to its beautiful themes about the importance of family and perseverance.

This glorious musical-comedy is guaranteed to make you smile. We have two words for you: Jack Black. From the catchy tunes ("Teacher's Pet" anyone?) in "School of Rock" to the (surprisingly) really musically gifted child actors, this movie is a joy to watch. Jack delivers a performance that is as hilarious as it is sincere. "School of Rock" is available to stream on Hulu.

The question that still remains is, Are you Team Jess, Team Dean, or Team Logan? Quippy dialogue, great chemistry and primo love triangles… what more is there to ask for in a television show? Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham make for an incredibly endearing mother-daughter duo that you can't help but love. Also, "Gilmore Girls" is quintessentially '00s so prepare for some good ol' nostalgia. All seven seasons plus the incredibly divisive revival are available on Netflix.

The premise is quirky and unconventional, and that's why we love it. A rat with dreams of becoming a Michelin-star chef? Count us in. "Ratatouille" is a fantastic film that's basically a metaphor for the importance of giving people a chance. Sure, you've got preconceived notions, but putting those aside is what matters. Plus the friendship that develops between characters Emile and Alfredo Linguini is adorable. "Ratatouille" is available to stream on Disney+.

If you want to cry happy tears, look no further. There is literally no better way to spend multiple one-hour-long intervals than by watching these wonderful human beings teach important lessons about practicing self-care — Tan, Jonathan, Karamo, Antoni and Bobby are the best friends we wish we had. "Queer Eye" and all four of its glorious, tear-jerking-in-the-best-way-possible seasons are available to stream on Netflix. There's also a bonus season of the series, "Queer Eye: We're in Japan!" which is just as adorable and heartwarming as the others.

Please — you'd be lying if you said you don't know all the words to "Grow Old With You." Aside from that song being arguably one of the best ever made for a film (potential wedding song? check!), "The Wedding Singer" was the first of three glorious collaborations between Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Filmed in the '90s but set in the '80s? This rom-com serves up two decades of nostalgia. Glen is so terrible he's actually kind of great, Robbie is a sweetheart you hope gets his act together, and Julia (Gulia) is the sweet girl next door for whom you want nothing but the best. Stream "The Wedding Singer" on Amazon Prime Video.

The FX series "What We Do in the Shadows" (pictured) is a hilariously dark horror-comedy series that takes a look into the daily (or rather, nightly) lives of three vampires who've lived together in Staten Island for more than 100 years. It's a spinoff of the 2014 mockumentary movie of the same name that was written, directed and produced by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi (both also star in the film and cameo on the TV show, along with many other fun names). The film, which centers on a group of New Zealand vampires whose lives are chronicled by a documentary crew, is available to stream on Amazon Prime. The series streams on Hulu. Bonus: If you like what you see, get ready for more: It's been renewed for season 3.

This is a movie we'll likely be watching over and over again. "Sleepless in Seattle," which stars Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks — who, coincidentally, was (along with wife Rita Wilson) the first American celebrity to be diagnosed with COVID-19 in March 2020 — has to be one of the best romantic comedies we've ever seen. Maybe it's the way in which Ross Malinger nails his performance as a son concerned for his widowed father, or maybe it's the chemistry between Meg and Tom. Whatever the reasons, this film is worth all the rewatches. Seattle's never looked so beautiful, and we've never wanted so badly to fall in love via a late night radio show. "Sleepless in Seattle" is ready to be watched (and rewatched) on Disney+.

It's hard to pick our favorite Robin Williams film, but this one comes pretty close. "Mrs. Doubtfire" makes us nostalgic for the '90s — the comedy boasts strong performances from stars like Mara Wilson, Matthew Lawrence, Pierce Brosnan and the great Sally Field. The heart of this film though, is its star, Robin. His performance radiates charisma and it's hard not to smile during every scene he's in. It's remarkable, really, the way the late actor is able to reduce an audience to laughter. "Mrs. Doubtfire" is available to watch on Hulu.

You want nostalgia? We give you "PEN*5." Let's face it, the name of the show alone is a total blast from the awkward past (write it down and see what word it resembles — that asterisk is a 1 — then laugh like a junior high trickster). The series, which The Hollywood Reporter called "the R-rated side of middle school," literally gives you everything you could ever possibly dream of in a Y2K-set coming-of-age comedy series — butterfly hair clips! Bowl cuts! Lifehouse! It's so cringeworthy that it's actually pretty fantastic. Besides being expertly written, Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle — the show's creators and stars — are incredibly charismatic. The series and all of its nostalgic, heartfelt glory is available to stream on Hulu.

This adaptation of Shakespeare's "Taming of the Shrew" is likely one of the best rom-coms of its time. Julia Stiles stars as a feminist, non-conformist teenager and Heath Ledger plays a not-so-unapproachable bad boy with a heart of gold. This is a fun one to watch — seeing the dynamic between the two romantic leads unfold is great. Co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is ridiculously endearing and Allison Janney, who plays the principal who has a penchant for writing adult fiction, delivers a hilarious side story. Quirky, fun and just downright funny, "10 Things I Hate About You" is a real late-'90s treat. Watch it now on Disney+.

"Lady Bird" is such a great film because it feels authentic to the coming-of-age experience. Aside from Saoirse Ronan being a superb actress who really encapsulates that rebellious teen spirit (circa 2002), it's the overall spirit of the film that makes it so good. From Lady Bird and Julie's (Beanie Feldstein) endearing obsession with the Dave Matthew Band's "Crash Into Me" to Kyle's (Timothée Chalamet) rant about how cellphones are really just government tracking devices to Christine's complicated relationship with her mom (Laurie Metcalf), the film has heart. Plus it was written and directed by Greta Gerwig. Need we say more? "Lady Bird" is available on Amazon Prime Video.

While "Lady Bird" is the film that put Greta Gerwig's name on the Hollywood map of must-watch new filmmakers, we'd be remiss not to mention the masterpiece that is "Frances Ha." Greta stars in the film — she co-wrote it with real-life love Noah Baumbach — that follows the life of 27-year-old Frances Halladay as she endures a quarter-life crisis. It's the kind of movie that doesn't necessarily have a plot yet still works in ways that even some plot-driven films don't. "Frances Ha" spends a lot of time with its leading lady, painting her in ways that feel close to home. At its core, it's about a woman in her 20s who's really just trying to figure it out. Greta makes for an incredibly endearing leading lady, quirks and all. This collab is available to watch on Netflix.

We are forever putting "aca" at the beginning of as many words as we can. Anna Kendrick stars in this musical romantic comedy about an aspiring DJ who joins an a capella group that is in serious need of revamping. While the romance between Anna and co-star Skylar Astin's characters is sweet, it's the commitment to girl power that makes this film so wonderful. Lighthearted, catchy and incredibly feel-good, it'll be hard not to tap your feet to this one. We also get to see a young(er) Ben Platt show off his serious vocal chops — it's no wonder he went on to star on Broadway. "Pitch Perfect" is aca-available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

Bo Burnham wrote and directed this comedy that showcases the perilous reality of being a 13-year-old girl. Elsie Fisher stars as Kayla, an aspiring YouTuber, frequent Instagram user and socially awkward teen who's just weeks away from her eighth-grade graduation. Smart, clever and masterfully written, this is a heartfelt comedy that's surely worth all the hype. Find out for yourselves — "Eighth Grade" is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

While we love Disney Princess films, there's something special about this animated Disney movie — namely that it's more a father-son story than anything else. Goofy wants desperately to spend time with his teenage son Max, so the two embark on a cross-country journey that — after a slew of mishaps — ends up leading them to the concert of the biggest pop star in the world. Aside from the fantastic original songs ("Eye to Eye" is certainly one of Disney's best), this movie is great because of its themes: It showcases the complexities of growing up and growing apart from your parents in such a relatable way. "A Goofy Movie" is available to stream on Disney+.

Mindy Kaling is everything. She's hilarious, has great comedic timing and has charisma in spades. "The Mindy Project" remains one of her best works yet — she created, starred in, co-produced and even wrote many of the comedy show's episodes. While the list of reasons to love this series is too long to summarize here, we'll leave you with just a few — the chemistry among the cast is phenomenal, the dialogue is really funny and it stars a successful, quirky and lovable woman of color. What more could you ask for? All four seasons of "The Mindy Project" are streaming now on Hulu.

Who's that girl… it's Jess! What is there to say about "New Girl" other than it should already be on your watchlist? The comedy series starring Zooey Deschanel is a show that packs a powerful punch — the writing is strong, the characters are distinct and the ways in which they interact with each other is comedy gold. It's one of those shows that you might not anticipate loving as much as you do and then suddenly, you've watched a full season in less than a week. Truthfully, it's hard not to fall in love with the roomies in Apartment 4D. Watch all seven seasons now on Netflix.

If you put Jason Segel and Paul Rudd together in anything, really, you're bound to get something special. "I Love You Man" focuses on the power of friendship in a way that is as hilarious as it is heartfelt. This film will have you laughing from beginning to end — and we have Judd Apatow to thank for this iconic pairing. Watch the bromance unfold on Amazon Prime Video.

This one will make you laugh probably as much as it'll make you cry, but we promise it'll be worth it. "The Big Sick" is inspired by the real-life love story of how Kumail Nanjiani and wife Emily Gordon (their screenplay earned an Oscar nomination), so it's no surprise that the "Silicon Valley" star delivered an exceptional performance in the movie alongside Zoe Kazan. "The Big Sick" hits differently than other romantic comedies in that it emphasizes the complexities of cross-cultural dating — a part of modern romance that isn't often portrayed in big-time Hollywood films. It's an honest and unique story, and the love between its two leads is so felt. Stream it now on YouTube.

A frantic need to partake in a night of teenage debauchery has never looked so relatable. What makes "Booksmart" so special is the fact that it takes the age-old story of having to have the best night of your life with your best friend before you both go off to college and turns it on its head. Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever make for charismatic leads who encapsulate cool, awkward teens in ways that feel authentic, and their dynamic together is pretty electric. This one is also worth the watch because it sees two teenage girls embarking on "the best night of their lives" when it's so often teenage boys who get to have all the fun in these movies. If you're in need of some guaranteed laughs and tons of '90s nostalgia, then look no further than a classic: "Friends." The ensemble cast is among television's most iconic — Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer were America's best friends back in the day. The real reason Bethenny Frankel doesn't follow Andy Cohen on Instagram

Bethenny Frankel has no interest in being social with Andy Cohen… at least not online.

Fans began to wonder if there was a rift between the two after noticing that she doesn't follow the Bravo scion on Instagram. The former "Housewives" star's rep, though, says nothing could be further from the truth.

"They haven't followed each other in forever. They are super close friends. In fact he recently did her podcast," her rep told Page Six. "She doesn't follow a lot of her friends. She prefers to connect with them directly and not see what they're up to over social media."

The pair does follow each other on Twitter and "interact there all the time," a source said.

In fact, the source told the New York Post's gossip section that Andy doesn't follow any "Housewives" on Instagram, but he does follow them on Twitter.

Bethenny follows just 125 accounts on Instagram, and Dorinda Medley is the only former or current "Housewives" star whom she follows.

Last fall on her podcast, Bethenny even spoke about her Instagram account and the fact that she only follows a smattering of people.

"I don't follow [Kylie Jenner]. I stopped following most people," she said.

1. His mom submitted his "X Factor" application after he had second thoughts

He almost didn't send in his "The X Factor" application. Though the British reality show ended up making Harry Styles a household name in 2010, the then-16-year-old student had second thoughts about signing up to try out. His mom is the one who submitted his application and pushed him to audition. After his audition (to Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely"), Harry was eventually selected to be part of a five-person boy band that called themselves One Direction and ultimately took third place on the show before signing with judge and music exec Simon Cowell… and the rest is history.

2. He's written songs for other superstars

Did you know Harry Styles has written songs for other music stars? Yep, he penned "Just a Little Bit of Your Heart" for Ariana Grande and co-wrote a song for Michael Buble with fellow pop star Meghan Trainor.

3. He cut off his famous locks for a very good cause

One thing Harry Styles has always been known for? His fabulous hair! But when the pop star landed a role in Christopher Nolan's 2017 period war film "Dunkirk," he had to part ways with those luxurious tresses. Since he had to make the change, Harry made sure his famous hair supported a good cause: In 2016, the singer donated his hair to a British organization that makes wigs for kids who've lost their hair after cancer treatments, the Little Princess Trust. Of the big change, Harry later told radio host and pal Nick Grimshaw during a BBC Radio 1 interview, "I felt very naked for a while." Fun fact: The exact moment he chopped off his previously shoulder-length tresses aired during his Apple Music special "Harry Styles: Behind the Album."

4. He's not only a handsome, talented singer… he's funny too!

Harry Styles isn't just a good-looking and talented singer — he's also a really funny guy! He's been known to fill in for late night host pal James Corden every now and then, taking over his hosting gig on CBS's "The Late, Late Show," and pulls in just as many laughs as the professional comedian! Harry most recently took over hosting duties for James in December 2019 and interviewed ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner on the CBS show.

5. He came up with the name One Direction

You have Harry Styles to thank for the name One Direction. He suggested it to his new bandmates on "The X Factor" and they loved it. Back in 2012, Zayn Malik confirmed the moniker's origins during an interview with a radio station in Phoenix, explaining, "Basically we just came up with the idea to make loads of names up and it was one of the first names Harry came up with. He just texted it to us and we were like, 'Yeah, I like that, it's cool.'"

6. His first public fling was with an older woman

One of Harry Styles' first public relationships was with a much older woman. Back in October 2011 when the singer was 17, he began a short relationship with Caroline Flack, who at that time was hosting a show about "The X Factor" called "The Xtra Factor." Caroline — who'd previously dated Prince Harry and went on to date other British celebs before her untimely death at 40 in 2020 — was 14 years older than the One Direction star when they started hooking up. Which brings us to our next fun fact…

7. And so is his latest romance!

Ten years later and Harry Styles is dating another older woman — Olivia Wilde. He met the actress-director, who's 10 years his senior, while working on her upcoming thriller, "Don't Worry Darling," in 2020 (Olivia's directing, Harry's starring). Reports confirmed the duo kept things professional but fell for one another on set. Photos of the couple attending a wedding together while holding hands set the internet ablaze in January 2021, though insiders claimed the couple weren't doing much to hide their relationship prior to that while filming.

8. He has a penchant for bold and gender-bending fashion

His fashion makes headlines! Instead of opting for boring black suits like so many stars, Harry Styles likes to push the envelope when it comes to his looks. He's been known to rock outlandish Saint Laurent and Gucci getups and doesn't shy away from a bold floral print or bright colors or patterns and even adopted a necklace made of pearls as his signature accessory. In 2019, he opened up about his unique taste and penchant for women's fashion in The Guardian, explaining, "What women wear. What men wear. For me it's not a question of that. If I see a nice shirt and get told, 'But it's for ladies.' I think: 'Okaaaay? Doesn't make me want to wear it less though.' I think the moment you feel more comfortable with yourself, it all becomes a lot easier."

9. One Direction wasn't his first band

He was in a band before One Direction! When Harry Styles was just 14, he was the lead singer for a group called White Eskimo. The band won their school's battle of the bands competition and once even performed at a wedding!

10. He inspired a sitcom

His life inspired a sitcom! Yep, when Harry Styles started making it big in One Direction, he lived in the attic of pal Ben Winston and Ben's wife, Meredith, for nearly two years. The odd arrangement inspired the short-lived CBS comedy series "Happy Together" starring Damon Wayans Jr. and Amber Stevens West. The character inspired by Harry was played by Felix Mallard.

11. He also inspired a book series and movie!

The 2019 drama "After" starring Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes Tiffin is based on the book series of the same name, which originated as Harry Styles fan fiction. Author Anna Todd first published the tale on the fan-fiction site Wattpad, though the character name Harry Styles was changed to Hardin Scott when the books were published. The film currently has a sequel in the works.

12. He had an interesting high school job

You'll never guess one of Harry Styles' first jobs! Though he found fame at 16 after appearing on "The X Factor," he had a very normal teenage gig first: He worked in a bakery. Yep, the future superstar was an employee at the W. Mandeville bakery in his native Holmes Chapel, England. His old boss, Simon Wakefield, only has lovely things to say about Harry, telling the Daily Mirror back in 2013, "He was the most polite member of staff we've ever had. Customers really took a shine to him." Harry stopped by his old place of employment to film a segment for the 2013 One Direction documentary "One Direction: This Is Us."

13. He has some surprising inspirations

You might be surprised by one of Harry Styles' main inspirations. The British pop star credits Canadian country music singer Shania Twain with influencing him in both the music and fashion departments. 14. He now considers Stevie Nicks a close friend

The legendary Stevie Nicks considers Harry Styles her "love child." Yep, the Fleetwood Mac frontwoman told Rolling Stone in 2019, "He's Mick [Fleetwood]'s and my love child. When Harry came into our lives I said, 'Oh my God, this is the son I never had.' So I adopted him." The love is reciprocated: Harry was on hand to pay tribute to Stevie at her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in April 2019, and he's performed her hit "Landslide" alongside her multiple times.

15. He featured an ex-girlfriend on his latest album

Though he's not super-open about his private life, Harry Styles did give fans a glimpse into his last relationship via the song "Cherry" in 2019. At the end of the tune on his second solo album, "Fine Line," he used a voicemail from his ex, French model Camille Rowe, in which she can be heard speaking in French. He opened up about the inclusion to DJ Zane Lowe in November 2019, explaining that he got her permission before adding it to the song.

16. He loves romantic movies

He's a sucker for a romantic movie! Harry Styles has admitted to being a big fan of Nicholas Sparks flicks, namely "The Notebook." In 2017 while being interviewed by filmmaker Cameron Crowe, Harry explained that he loved to unwind with rom-coms while recording his self-titled debut solo album in Jamaica.

Lisa Rinna shades 'Housewives' alum … again

For nearly a week, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Rinna has been at odds with former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Vicki Gunvalson after the latter credited herself with Lisa's reality TV career.

While appearing on the "Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef" podcast on Jan. 28, Vicki said Lisa and other "Housewives" star "wouldn't have a job" if it weren't for her. Lisa quickly responded to the comments on Instagram by posting a decades-old picture of herself next to a recent image of herself. She looked stunning in both.

"Before Vicki / After Vicki. 😜" she captioned the post.

Lisa wasn't done. Over the weekend, she not-so-subtly shaded Vicki again, this time posting an image while wearing a wig.

"We call her Vicky. With a Y," Lisa wrote.

The bad blood between the women seems to stem from several run-ins. Vicki alleges that she saw Lisa at an event once and the former soap opera star was supposedly dismissive of her.

"I said hi to her, and she was like, 'Oh yeah, you're Orange County,'" Vicki said.

Vicki also alleged that Lisa was inappropriate at Andy Cohen's baby shower in 2019.

"She's up on the tables dancing. I'm like, 'Why? This is Andy's baby shower.' You want attention? … I just sat back going, 'Wow, this is a little messed up.'" she said.

Clare Crawley admits to being in a 'dark place' after Dale Moss split

Still fresh off her split from Dale Moss, former "The Bachelorette" star Clare Crawley is only now starting to come out of the "dark place" she was in.

"I'm getting to a point now where I'm trying really hard to come back from that and make a U-Turn because it's a dark place to be in when you've got a lot of stuff compiled on each other," she said on Instagram Live.

The hairstylist and the male model split in mid-January following a love-at-first-sight romance that played out on "The Bachelorette."

Clare noted that she's had panic attacks and severe anxiety since her time on the show. She acknowledged that some of that is due to her mother's health, the coronavirus pandemic and hurtful messages from online critics.

"And to know… in spite of all that, like you are loved and you will be loved by the right person for all that you bring to the table, whether it's the good, the bad, everything that we bring to the table, the right person is going to love you for that," she said.

One day after Clare's comments, Dale got emotional while opening up about the split.

"I felt so many emotions, so much guilt, but also so much confusion, so much hurt, and I know that we both have," he said on Instagram. "And looking for so many answers – before this even happened on how to make things better. But the reality of of it is, life isn't perfect. And we make mistakes. I've made a lot of them, I know we all do. My pops would always say you gotta hurt before you heal."
