Padma Lakshmi reacts to critic mom-shaming her about breasts

Padma Lakshmi is telling a social media critic to pack their knives and go.

Earlier in the week, the "Top Chef" host posted an Instagram video that showed her cooking in the kitchen and sporting a short tank top. As she cooked, Padma's 12-year-old daughter, Krishna, covered her mom's chest with her hand. She tot playfully said she was "censoring."

"Censoring my boobs?" the Bravo star replied. "You ate off those boobs for a good year and a half."

The playful interaction was applauded by the vast majority of Padma's 1.3 million followers. One person, though, insisted that Krishna was "uncomfortable" with the situation.

"As a mom of 4 daughters, there's a time and a place and when it starts making our daughters uncomfortable because we are being objectified, time to take notice," one user wrote.

Padma wasn't about to let the mom-shaming slide.

"First if all it's a JOKE. And my daughter isn't uncomfortable with me or my boobs or my posts, nor does she read these comments unless I show her because she isn't on social media," she wrote. "It's really not that serious folks."

The model noted that Krishna is too busy with "her studies" to worry about social media.

Taylor Swift's cat Olivia Benson has a net worth that most humans can only dream about

You've heard of a cash cow, but a cash cat?

It seems everything that Taylor Swift touches turns to gold, and her feline is no exception.

According to All About Cats, Taylor Scottish fold cat named Olivia Benson is worth $97 million.

Olivia, the middle child of Taylor's three cats, "earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers," All About Cats reported.

The "Midnights" singer also owns Meredith Grey, another Scottish fold, and a ragdoll named Benjamin Button, which she got in 2019. Olivia, though, is the moneymaker of the brood.

Taylor spoke about being a "cat lady" in a 2014 chat with "Live with Kelly and Michael," saying, "Before I got the second cat, I was kind of canvassing everyone I knew, going, 'Is cats, cat lady?' Two cats is cats, and there's more than one. But they're like, 'No, three cats is a cat lady, two cats is a party.'"

Interestingly, Taylor's furry friend is far from the most valuable pet in the world. That honor belongs to a German shepherd named Gunther VI that's owned by the Gunther Corporation. He's reportedly worth $500 million. Fun fact: Gunther owns Madonna's old home.

Jason and Brittany Aldean get trolled over her photo with former President Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago on NYE

Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Aldean, started off the new year by getting relentlessly trolled by social media — the result of a picture of Donald Trump kissing her forehead.

On New Year's Day, Brittany shared images from her and Jason's previous evening at Mar-a-Lago. One of the snaps showed Jason looking on as the former POTUS leaned down to kiss Brittany on the forehead. However, many people noted that Trump may have gotten an eyeful during the smooch, as the former "American Idol" contestant was wearing a low-cut dress.

Instagram

"He is really looking down her cleavage! Lost all respect for Jason Aldean when he left his [former] wife for Brittany. This just reaffirms whey I won't buy his music!!" one commenter wrote.

"Trump got a good long look down your wife's chest when he kissed her," another person tweeted.

Brittany didn't seem to mind, captioning the photos: "A fairy-tale ending to 2022."

Some people were focused on Jason's face in the very moment.

"@Jason_Aldean. How'd you feel about this? Your expression says a lot. Trump got a nice view though," a commenter wrote.

Others, naturally, thought the moment was sweet, and a few claimed they'd "never" wash their forehead if they got a kiss from Trump.

The country music superstar clearly took no offense to the kiss, as he posted a photo from a day on the golf course with the MAGA leader.

Khloe Kardashian claps back after 'unprovoked' comment about her 'changed face'

The more things change, the more they stay the same. We're just a few days into 2023, and Khloe Kardashian is already taking a page out of her old clap back book.

On Tuesday, Jan. 3, the reality TV star posted a series of Instagram images wherein she debuted new clip-on bangs.

"I am surprised with how much I liked the bangs even though they changed the shape of my face," she captioned one of the images. Soon after, an Instagram user took issue with the post and sarcastically said the bangs didn't change a thing. The woman also insinuated that Khloe had plastic surgery.

"Ohhh it was the bangs that changed your face so much in these pics?," the person said, per In Touch.

Khloe, however, clap backed and told the woman the comment was "sad."

"I openly talk about my nose job and anyone who 'looks up' to me must know I've lost over 60 pounds over the years," Khloe argued. "So recently the only change is the bangs. I didn't know I had to do a running list."

She added, "Either way, attacking someone is sad in my opinion. Unprovoked is the saddest part. If you are offended or don't like what you see, you simply don't have to say anything."

Khloe, who is no stranger to clapping back at social media critics, took then took the high road before tacking another jab.

"I hope you have a great first week of the new year. Thanks for making mine so jolly," she wrote. "Women attacking other women is lame. Happy new year."

To be fair, a bevy of Khloe's Instagram followers fawned over the bangs, as some called her a "supermodel" or used fire emojis.

Jeremy Renner once spoke of 'trailblazing' in 14,000-pound snowplow that ran him over

Jeremy Renner was once thrilled to drive around in the 14,000-pound snowplow that ran over him earlier this week in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Back on Dec. 18, 2019, the Marvel star posted a video while driving around in his PistenBully snowcat, a machine which removes and grooms large amounts of snow.

"Holiday preparations for friends and family. What are your plans??," he wrote at the time. He also added the hashtag "trailblazing."

Authorities said Jeremy had been using his snowcat to remove snow around his personal vehicle at the time of the New Year's Day accident. After getting out of the plow, the snowcat started to roll. Jeremy quickly tried getting back into the driver's seat, but it was then that the machine rolled over him.

The Oscar-nominated actor was airlifted to a Reno hospital in critical condition.

"Jeremy is making positive progress and is awake, talking and in good spirits," his representative told Fox News Digital on Jan. 3. "He remains in ICU in critical but stable condition. He is overwhelmed by the showing of love and support. The family asks for your continued thoughts while he heals with his close loved ones."

In sharing a selfie from the hospital, Jeremy gave his fans a quick update on his condition on Tuesday, as well.

"Thank you all for your kind words," he wrote. "Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."

Kelly Ripa backs Andy Cohen after Ryan Seacrest accuses him of NYE snub

The feud rages on. Ryan Seacrest claims that Andy Cohen snubbed him and refused to say hello during their adjacent New Year's Eve broadcasts in New York City's Times Square.

While on "Live! With Kelly And Ryan," Ryan detailed the celebratory evening, saying the ABC stage, which he was broadcasting from, and the CNN stage, which Andy and Anderson Cooper stood on, were 10 feet away. Despite their proximity, Andy gave Ryan the cold shoulder all night. However, Kelly Ripa, who is close with both Andy and Ryan, insists that nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, Kelly, who was not in Times Square for the evening, said that Andy tried to get Ryan's attention multiple times.

"He said he was trying to get your attention," Kelly said after claiming she spoke to Andy about the situation. Ryan retorted, "Really? Honestly… we're within 10 feet of each other doing the show."

The "American Idol" host added, "It was funny because my big stage was right in front of Anderson and Andy. When I was not working, I was trying to get their attention."

During his takedown of Andy, Ryan praised Anderson.

"They have a great show. And Anderson, the best. He turns around and he says, 'Have a good show.' Class. Class. Andy did not turn around," Ryan said.

The perceived beef between the two seemed to begin last year when Andy, who was admittedly inebriated during CNN's usually boozy New Year's Eve coverage, ripped the ABC broadcast.

"If you look behind me, you'll see Ryan Seacrest's group of losers performing," Andy said on Dec. 31, 2021, broadcast. "I'm sorry but if you're watching ABC, you're watching nothing."

Gregory Pace/Shutterstock

A few days later, Andy admitted he crossed the line.

"The only thing that I regret saying, the only thing is that I slammed the ABC broadcast and I really like Ryan Seacrest and he's a great guy," he said on his SiriusXM show.

CNN put the kibosh on the on-air drinking, at least among its hosts, for its 2023 New Year's Eve broadcast, something Ryan openly supported.

"I don't advocate drinking when one is on the air. I don't know how that started as a tradition, but it's probably a good idea (to scale back)" Ryan told Entertainment Weekly.

He later took a dig at Andy.

"I think there's a serious journalist and then a friend of mine who has a lot of fun, but it's probably a good idea (to reduce alcohol). Although the viewers probably wish they would drink more. But I think they had something to say about my show at one point, which was I'm sure from the alcohol because, I don't think they would say what they said about our performers if they weren't drinking," Ryan said. "I think our show's a bigger, broader show and we will not drink until 1:05 in the morning. Although, I might send them some Casa Dragones Tequila just to tempt them while they're on the air."
