Nipsey Hussle's family looking for 15,000-seat venue for memorial

Nipsey Hussle's family is reportedly searching for a basketball-sized arena to accommodate the thousands upon thousands of mourners who want to honor the slain rapper.

TMZ reports that the family has passed on 2,000-seat venues in Los Angeles because they believe something that small won't suffice. They're looking for venues like Staples Center, where the Los Angles Lakers and Clippers play, or The Forum — arenas that can hold upwards of 15,000 people.

The Hollywood Bowl would also be a possibility.

"His family wants to ensure everyone who wants to will be able to celebrate his life," TMZ reports.

A service is likely to happen sometime within the next two weeks, the report said.

Nipsey was murdered in broad daylight outside his Marathon Clothing store in the Hyde Park section of L.A. on March 31.

On April 2, police arrested Eric Holder for the alleged shooting. On Thursday, during his initial court appearance, Eric pleaded not guilty to murder. Police said the suspect and Nipsey had a personal dispute.

Since Nipsey's death, candlelight vigils have popped up around the world and many celebrities and athletes have paid tribute to the Grammy-nominated artist.

"He was so gifted, so proud of his home, so invested in his community," John Legend tweeted after Nipsey's death. "Utterly stunned that he's gone so soon."

Jack Osbourne attacked in Los Angeles coffee shop

Jack Osbourne is doing well after being brutally attacked at a Los Angeles coffee shop this week.

TMZ reported that Ozzy and Sharon's son was sitting at a sidewalk patio on April 3 when a random person punched him in the head. The attacker appeared to be homeless, the website noted.

The attacker "came out of nowhere and sucker punched Jack on the right side of his head" before running away, TMZ said, noting that a stunned Jack got up and threw his coffee at the fleeing man.

Police eventually identified and found the man, who was then arrested for battery and assault. The arrest, however, wasn't easy as police allegedly had to taze the man while trying to detail him.

"It occurred at 9:09 a.m. [Wednesday] on the 1200 block of Ventura Blvd.," a police spokesman tells People. "Officers responded to a battery call and when they arrived, the suspect produced a screwdriver and tried to stab them. A use of force occurred. Suspect was taken into custody for assault with a deadly weapon for assaulting a police officer. Plus additional charges for the battery."

Jack's rep tells TMZ that he's doing "just fine."

The attack comes not long after Jack and his ex-wife, Lisa, finalized their divorce after six years of marriage. The former couple shares three children.

Kate Beckinsale stuns in makeup-free selfie: Pic

Kate Beckinsale is going minimalistic in her newest Instagram, sharing a makeup-free selfie.

On Thursday, the actress, 45, posted an image showing her looking fresh and au naturale.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv1wldtBIFM/

"Mens sana in corpore sano or as we modify it in Chiswick, 'clean bum clean conscience,'" she captioned the snap. Fans, however, were quick to point out that her translation was incorrect, and the Latin phrase actually translates to "a healthy mind in a healthy body."

The fresh-faced selfie comes not long after Kate scrubbed her Instagram account when fans criticized her for dating 25-year-old Pete Davidson. A few days later, Kate returned to Instagram, writing, "Back in business."

https://www.instagram.com/p/BvjLOAynGrN/

In late March, Kate spoke to the Los Angeles Times about her romance with Pete, saying she was "surprised by the interest."

"I've never been in this position before—never dated anybody who comes with their own bag of mischief," she said. "It's all quite shocking, and something to get used to. I think if you liked the person less, you would bow out of it. If that were the main thrust of the relationship, there would be a problem. But it's not."

She added that the paparazzi make things difficult.

"I'd rather not have people hiding outside my house," she said. "It's a little old fashioned to have a woman's personal life [looked at like that]. It's a little bit tired."

Kendall Jenner reportedly nets $500k for 24-hour Australia trip

Kendall Jenner is cashing in in a big, big way after attending the opening of the Tiffany and Co. store in Sydney on Thursday.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the reality TV star pocketed an astonishing $500,000 for appearing there. However, another industry insider said Kendall could have actually made more than a half million bucks.

"[$500,000] would be an under-estimate," the source told the Telegraph.

WireImage

What makes it even more incredible is that Kendall, who posted several photos and videos from the event to her Instagram Story, was only in Australia for 24 hours, meaning she spent more time on the incoming and outgoing airplanes than she did in the city.

A likely jet-lagged Kendall, however, was all smiles at the event.

"There is a lot I love about Australia…the atmosphere reminds me of home," she told reporters while dressed in a feathered pink minidress.

Kendall, of course, isn't exactly hurting in the pocketbook. In 2018, Forbes named her the highest paid model of the year, raking in an estimated $22.5 million, nearly $10 million more than Karlie Kloss, her closest competition. Kendall was also named the highest paid model of 2017, which was especially significant as she topped Gisele Bundchen, who held the honor for 15 years.

Despite her half-million dollar payday on Thursday, her wealth lags far behind that of her billionaire younger sister, Kylie Jenner.

Gordon Ramsay and wife welcome 5th child

Gordon Ramsay and his wife have cooked up a fifth child.

On Thursday, the "Hell's Kitchen" chef announced he and Tana Ramsay welcomed a son.

"After 3 baftas and one Emmy… finally we have won an Oscar, please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12:58 today for some lunch !" Gordon captioned a series of photos of their newborn.

The couple already shares Megan, 21, twins Holly and Jack, 19, and Matilda, 17.

After Gordon's announcement, several fellow chefs and "Hell's Kitchen" alums offered their congratulations.

The Ramsays' first announced that they were expecting a fifth child on New Year's Day.

"We've got another one coming," the famed chef can be heard saying in a video. "Oh my lord!"

Oscar's birth is extra special for the couple, as Tana suffered a miscarriage in 2016.

"Hi guys, Tana and I want to thank you so much for your support over the past couple weeks," Gordon said on his Facebok page at the time. "We had a devastating weekend as Tana sadly miscarried our son at five months," he stated on his page."

Last year, in an interview with the Daily Mail, the restauranteur said his wife almost left him because of his weight, stating that he hit 250 pounds at one point.

"Tana was not impressed with the way I was," he said. "I look at the pictures and think, 'How did Tana stay around?' Because Tana has got better-looking and more gorgeous."

Gordon said that he used to eat poorly because of his job, which required him to often work late.

A vacation with David and Victoria Beckham was also eye-opening.

"I didn't have a figure," he said. "I didn't feel that good."

Finally his wife told him to shape up or she was going to leave him.

"It was painful," he said, adding that it was a "big wake-up call."

Emma Stone sparks engagement rumors with diamond ring

Is Emma Stone trying to tell us something?

The actress has been spotted recently with a ring on that ever-so-important finger.

The Oscar winner was seen last week wearing the ring as she left the market with her beau, "SNL" director Dave McCary. On Wednesday, she was again seen wearing the diamond ring while leaving lunch in Los Angeles.

She has not addressed a possible engagement.

Emma, 30, and Dave, 33, have been dating for about a year and a half, having first been linked in summer 2017. The couple reportedly met when Emma hosted "SNL" in December 2016.

They have had a very low-key romance, rarely being seen out together. However, she did bring him to the Screen Actors Guild Awards this past January.

Dave is Emma's first serious romance since she split with Andrew Garfield, whom she dated for three years off and on. In addition to his "SNL" credentials, where he's has worked since 2014, Dave is the co-founder of the sketch-comedy group "Good Neighbor." He also directed the 2017 indie movie, "Brigsby Bear."

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green affectionate in rare public outing

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green had a rare public outing in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 2, and the husband and wife of nearly a decade were as cute as ever.

The duo were photographed holding hands as they strolled through the streets of L.A., with Megan, dressed down in a zebra-print top and jeans, also affectionately grabbing onto her husband's arm.

BACKGRID

Megan and Brian tied the knot in 2010 and have three children together: Noah, 6, Bodhi, 5, and Journey, 2. (He also has a teen son with his ex Vanessa Marcil.) They nearly pulled the plug on their marriage in 2015 after Megan filed for divorce. In 2016, however, they reconciled.

The couple is rather private, but he spoke about their marriage during a 2017 episode of his "…with Brian Austin Green" podcast.

"Marriage is hard," Brian said. "It's work, I think for anyone. I think when you get to the point like we have, where you have kids and you've been married for a while and we've been together for a long time, it's — you just take it day by day."

Rex USA

Around that same time, he told reporters he hit the jackpot with his wife.

"I think what makes her great is she says what she means, she's not afraid of anyone, she's opinionated," he said. "She sticks to what she thinks. I have four boys at home, and I feel like it's my job to help them understand that we are all equal."

Asked if there was a secret to marriage, the "90201" alum said, "I don't know what the secret is. Just stick it out. Like fighting and making up, believing in each other. I've dated people before and you kind of get to that point where you go, 'You know what, I don't feel the same way,' and I've never reached that with her."

He added, "I mean we fight, we disagree on things. But I don't want to go anywhere and she doesn't, you know? So we stick it out."

Nikki and Brie Bella are leaving 'Total Divas'

Nikki and Brie Bella's days on "Total Divas" are over.

The twins announced on "The Bellas Podcast" that they will not take part in the upcoming season of the show, and will instead focus on their new podcast and their "Total Bellas" reality show.

MediaPunch/REX/Shutterstock

"Nikki and I realized this year that it is time to say goodbye to 'Total Divas,'" Brie said.

Nikki added, "Brie and I have been with the franchise from the beginning and have literally put out hearts and souls and our lives on TV. [We wanted to] help make it into a big franchise, to help make it a success, to truly change peoples minds about women in wrestling and how much women in the wrestling industry do in and out of the ring."

She added, "We had to let one show go to keep our sanity."

Rob Latour/REX/Shutterstock

The women have starred on "Total Divas" for eight seasons.

Brie noted that she had her daughter, Birdie Joe Danielson, on her mind when making the decision to stop filming "Divas."

"I don't want Birdie to grow up in front of the cameras," she said. "I don't want her to think that it's a normal life."

For Nikki, she said it was difficult to constantly have cameras following her around. In fact, her high-profile split from WWE superstar John Cena played out on "Total Bellas."

"With my breakup, that just showed me that when you have hard times and life and you keep filming, it's just really hard on someone mentally," she said. "I was just so sad because the person that was the love of my life, that was just our home, that's where we started."

She later added, "We have to live our lives twice. When you have that bad moment in your life, you have to realize the bad. I know for me, that was exhausting, living my life twice."

Broadimage/REX/Shutterstock

The women said she will likely still make appearances on "Divas" but only sporadically.

"We are no longer on 'Total Divas'," Nikki said. "We will now be focusing on just 'Total Bellas' and the Bellas Podcast, as well as other things going on in our lives."

Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin deals would 'likely' involve prison

Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman won't be spared prison time in any plea bargain they cut for their alleged involvement in a college admissions scandal, according to a new report.

Shutterstock/REX/Shutterstock

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that prosecutors in the case will recommend that prison time be attached to any deal.

"You can't have people being treated differently because they have money," an official told the website. "That's how we got to this place. Every defendant will be treated the same."

Of course, just because the prosecutors want prison time for everyone involved, that doesn't necessarily mean they'll get it — A judge will make the final call.

While both women have remained mum on the case, TMZ notes that it's "likely" that plea bargain discussions will begin soon, but no plea deal has been made thus far.

Both actresses made appearances before a federal judge in Boston on Wednesday.

Katy Rogers / SplashNews.com

Both Felicity, Lori and Lori's husband, Mossimo Giannulli, have been accused of bribing a man to help get their children into prestigious colleges — Lori and Mossimo allegedly paid the man $500,000 to get their daughters into the University of Southern California by claiming they would participate in the crew team; Felicity allegedly paid $15,000 to rig her daughter's SAT test. The three have been charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, which carries a maximum of five years in prison if they're convicted.

So far, 50 people have been charged in the scam, and more indictments are reportedly expected.

Gayle King's multimillion-dollar CBS contract still not finalized: Report

What's the holdup? That's what Gayle King fans want to know.

Back on March 21, Page Six reported that the beloved TV journalist was negotiating a huge contract to keep her working for CBS News and "CBS This Morning" for many more years.

WALLING MCGARITY/CBS

But by April 2, the deal had yet to close, Page Six explains in a new report, because things are still being "batted around" by attorneys for both Gayle and the network, the New York Post's gossip column revealed.

"I don't know why they don't just throw $18 million at her and get this done," an insider told Page Six.

Page Six previously reported that Gayle makes around $5.5 million a year in her current contract. She wants a big raise to keep anchoring "CBS This Morning" and has been "poised to sign a new multimillion-dollar contract," Page Six wrote in March.

Nicholas Hunt/Getty Images

There has been some uncertainty at CBS that it seems could also be at play. On April 2, Huffpost reported that Gayle's "CBS This Morning" co-anchor Bianna Golodryga will be leaving the network after less than six months on the morning show.

A source also told Page Six that "hundreds are worried for their jobs" as the network decides whether "CBS Evening News With Jeff Glor" will move from New York City to Washington, D.C., as there are "high odds" that Norah O'Donnell will take over the broadcast.

John P. Filo/CBS

In February, industry sources told Page Six that Norah, who co-anchors "CBS This Morning" with Gayle, had been splitting her time between NYC and DC but would prefer to be in Washington because her husband has restaurants in the nation's capital.

Earlier in March, the New York Post reported that Gayle was looking to nearly triple her salary.

Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock

"Gayle is holding the show together, she wants George [Stephanopoulos] money — he got between $15 and $18 million to stay on at ABC," a source said.

CBS News president Susan Zirinsky is reportedly on board with a big payday for Gayle, who delivered a ratings win for the network in early March with her explosive interview with R&B star R. Kelly, who's facing legal repercussions after being accused of sexually assaulting young women and girls.
