According to E! News, the pair looked "very cozy" as they sat together for about an hour with one of her friends and the comedian's pal Machine Gun Kelly. "She was very flirty with him and there were definitely some vibes going on," said a source. "Pete was smiling and laughing with her and she was all about him." Meanwhile, People magazine reported that Kate and Pete "talked intently for most of the night" and "kept their focus on each other" even while mingling with fellow A-listers Isla Fisher and Sacha Baron Cohen. Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have called it quits (again), multiple media outlets reported on Jan. 3. According to an E! News source, the duo "have been spending [time] apart since early November." The source described the time spent apart as "best for the sake of their relationship right now" because they've "both been really focused on themselves and their separate careers." Continued the source, "They are in different points in their lives right now and decided they needed the time to breath apart from each other. They are still in touch and both hope that things will work out, but their relationship is always up and down." Meanwhile, an Us Weekly source said that the pair "could get back together, but it's over for now." According to a second insider, Gigi "tried hard to make it work," but Zayn has "a lot of his own issues that she couldn't help him get through." Said the second insider, "She cut herself off from all her friends every time they were together. … She focused all her time and energy on him, but it just got to be too much."

Nikki Bella has been dating her former "Dancing With the Stars" partner, Artem Chigvintsev, "for a while," Us Weekly reported on Jan. 3. The duo even spent time together over the holidays: They were seen visiting a farmers market in Los Angeles on Dec. 23. According to the tabloid, the upcoming fourth season of "Total Bellas" will chronicle their relationship. A trailer for the E! reality show that hit the Internet on Jan. 3 showed Nikki spending time with Artem and Bachelor Nation's Peter Kraus, who competed for Rachel Lindsay's heart on Season 13 of "The Bachelorette" and was linked to Bibiana Julian (who competed for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart on Season 22 of "The Bachelor") in late 2018. The preview also shows that the wrestler might not be fully over her ex-fiancé, John Cena, just yet: "It's confusing 'cause I'm still in love with him," she says. In another clip, she tells Peter, "I haven't kissed another guy in nine years." He then leans in for a kiss.

Jim Carrey, 56, and "Kidding" co-star Ginger Gonzaga, 34, revealed that they're more than co-workers by holding hands during Showtime's Golden Globes nominees celebration in West Hollywood on Jan. 5. The following day, they posed together on the red carpet at the Golden Globes. "She's incredible, unbelievable, wicked talent[ed] and [an] amazing person," the funnyman gushed to "Extra" of his new girlfriend.
Is Rosario Dawson in love with New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker? The duo got tongues wagging after a Jan. 5 meet and greet with the cast of Broadway's "Dear Evan Hansen," which they attended with her daughter and his niece. According to Page Six, the actress sang, "I love you, te amo," to the politician, whom she's reportedly known for years. "They were so cute together and seemed so flirtatious," said a source, who noted that there was no PDA between the pair (pictured with "Dean Evan Hansen" actor Taylor Trensch) even though it seemed obvious that they're a couple. The duo were also seen catching a movie together on Jan. 3.
Duchess Kate's brother, James Middleton, has been dating Alizee Thevenet for six months, MailOnline reported on Jan. 3. The French financial expert's father described the duo — who were photographed packing on the PDA while vacationing with his family in St. Barts on Jan. 2 — as "deliriously happy." Said her father, Jean-Gabriel Thevenet, "My daughter Alizee is very happy with James, they are very much in love. … James is a very charming man. … I am very happy that Alizee is together with James. I know she is very happy. We keep our fingers crossed for them. I am not allowed to say how they met, to give away their secrets. … But I'm very happy for them." Said a family friend, "James and Alizee met in a bar. James offered her a drink and Alizee did not know who he was until her friend told her. They have been dating for more than six months now and she has already spent time with his family in the family cottage. Things are getting serious between them."
Jeff Bezos and his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie, are calling it quits, they announced in a joint statement tweeted by the Amazon CEO on Jan. 9. "We want to make people aware of a development in our lives. As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends," the parents of four wrote. "We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for every one of the years we have been married to each other. If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again. We've had such a great life together as a married couple, and we also see wonderful future ahead, as parents, friends, partners in ventures and projects, and as individuals pursuing ventures and adventures. Though the labels might be different, we remain a family, and we remain cherished friends." But before the day was done, the story had shifted dramatically…
The plot thickened when Page Six reported later on Jan. 9 that Jeff Bezos has been seeing helicopter pilot and former TV anchor Lauren Sanchez, who separated from Hollywood mogul Patrick Whitesell in the fall of 2018. "Patrick and Lauren have socialized with Jeff Bezos and his wife for a few years, because both (now former) couples have houses in Seattle," said a source. "Then Lauren was hired to work on one of Bezos' projects, Blue Origin, a space launch company, as a helicopter pilot. She has been shooting aerial shots for Bezos. Patrick and Lauren Sanchez have been separated for a while. Their marriage has been off and on for a while, and they tried hard to fix things, but in the fall they officially separated. She had told Patrick that she has been recently seeing Jeff Bezos." Then the National Enquirer published exclusive photos of Jeff and Lauren together and alleged that the pair have been having "secret rendezvous" for the past eight months. The tabloid alleges that "during a blockbuster four-month investigation," it tracked the pair across five states and 40,000 miles to various "hidden love nests." According to the Enquirer, Jeff and Lauren's spouses were only "recently made aware of the fling." (In other words, MacKenzie and Jeff might not have been separated when he started stepping out with Lauren.) Further muddling the timeline, The New York Times snapped a photo of Jeff wearing his wedding ring while standing beside Lauren at Amazon's Golden Globes afterparty on Jan. 7.
TMZ reported on Jan. 7 that Dick Wolf filed paperwork to legally separate from his wife of 12 years, Noelle Lippman, on Dec. 3. The TV super-producer reportedly won't be seeking a full-fledged divorce for now. TMZ reports that Noelle filed her own legal separation paperwork on Jan. 4. She's reportedly asking for spousal support, though she does not appear to be contesting the prenup that she and Dick signed before they tied the knot in 2006. A lawyer for the "Chicago" franchise creator told TMZ that "the lawyers for the parties are in the process of negotiations." The pair have two children.
Jennifer Lawrence and her boyfriend of less than a year, Cooke Maroney, are living together, Us Weekly reported on Jan. 3. "Things between them are very serious," said a source. "They definitely appear to be in it for the long haul." Added the insider, "All his friends really like her."
Phaedra Parks is dating Tone Kapone, the radio DJ confirmed on a recent episode of his WGCI show after the former star of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" raised questions about the nature of their relationship by taking to Instagram to share a photo of them celebrating New Year's Eve together. ("2019 we are ready," she captioned the Jan. 1 pic.) "Yes, me and Phaedra are dating. … That's the big moment everybody was waiting for," he said. "Yeah, it was kinda self-explanatory on her page. I just didn't wanna repost it cause it seemed like it would have been, like, super-weird. Like, 'Look at me.' If you know anybody that knows me, I'm not that kinda guy." On Jan. 3, Us Weekly reported that, according to a source, the pair are "definitely dating and very happy."
Instagram official? Halsey and Yungblud sparked romance rumors in late 2018 after they exchanged a series of flirty messages on social media and then stepped out for what appeared to be a date night. On Jan. 2, the "Without Me" singer took to Instagram to share a photo of them walking together with his arm wrapped around her shoulders. "camden: now with a cuter filter," she wrote in the caption, leading many followers to call the post their Instagram debut as a couple.
Grace Kelly's granddaughter, Charlotte Casiraghi, has called off her engagement to Dimitri Rassam, HOLA! Spain reported on Jan. 2. The duo announced their engagement in March and welcomed a baby boy, Balthazar, in October. Princess Caroline's daughter also has a son from a previous relationship.
James Maslow told Us Weekly on Jan. 4 that he and model Gabriela Lopez are no longer a couple. "[I'm] just going through a breakup and I haven't acknowledged it until this moment, that it's an official thing," he said. "I'm single for the first time in almost a year." Continued the "Big Time Rush" star of the breakup, "It's part of my life, but I haven't acknowledged it directly on social media either because I don't think it's necessarily respectful or my place to say anything knowing that my fans — I don't want them to say anything negative, you know? … I gotta be protective."
Is Ross Mathews dating Ryan Fogarty, a former tour production assistant for LeAnn Rimes? That's the question Us Weekly asked on Jan. 9, noting that the pair have been seen together several times since the "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars" judge announced in November that he and Salvador Camarena had called it quits after nearly a decade of coupledom. A source told the tabloid that when Ross and Ryan attended a tree lighting event in West Hollywood in early December, "people were speculating that they were there as a romantic couple" because "they sat next to each other most of the time they were there." The duo also celebrated New Year's together with friends in Mexico. Of course, it's always possible they're just friends…
Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about married life during a Jan. 9 appearance on "Good Morning America." Said the actress, who wed Brad Falchuk in September, "I love it. … So far, so good." She also dished on their wedding: "We had a very small wedding. … We both have really old friends from elementary school and high school and that was really the bulk of our friends that were there," she said, adding that her nuptials were "just really special." Later that same day, Gwyneth stopped by "Live with Kelly and Ryan," where she confirmed that she and her new hubby rang in the New Year on their honeymoon in the Maldives, where they were joined by their kids from previous relationships (they each have two), as well as her ex-husband, Chris Martin, and his girlfriend, Dakota Johnson. The Oscar winner described it as a "modern honeymoon." Indeed! "We just wanted to minimize the pain for the kids," she said. "And they just want to see their parents around the dinner table, basically, so we try to keep that."
In other honeymoon news… the former Christina El Moussa — she just officially changed her name (even her Instagram handle!) to Christina Anstead — and new husband Ant Anstead, honeymooned in Bora Bora the first week of January. "Honeymooning ❤️🔥🔥😎😍💍🇬🇧🇺🇸 with the wifey," the British TV host captioned a slideshow of photos and videos on Instagram on Jan. 4. Christina's two kids, meanwhile, stayed home with their dad, Christina's ex-husband and "Flip or Flop" co-star Tarek El Moussa.
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were caught on camera kissing on a yacht off the coast of Florida on Dec. 28. A week later, Us Weekly asked the actor about the romantic getaway. "It was foolish!" he reportedly fired back while attending an event in Los Angeles on Jan. 5. It's unclear what exactly he thought was so foolish, but we imagine it has something to do with the whole "caught on camera" part of the holiday vacay. The super-private pair have only been photographed together a handful of times since they were first linked in 2013.
While accepting an award during the Palm Springs Film Festival on Jan. 3, Rami Malek finally confirmed his rumored romance with "Bohemian Rhapsody" co-star Lucy Boynton. "Thank you, Lucy Boynton," he said during his acceptance speech. "You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much." The duo were first linked in April 2018. Three nights later, Rami picked up the award for best actor in a dramatic film during the 2019 Golden Globes. He and Lucy were caught on camera sharing a tender moment during Hulu's Globes afterparty.
Aja Volkman took to Instagram on Jan. 8 to confirm that she and Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds are working on their marriage. (The duo announced in April that they were calling it quits but sparked reconciliation rumors in late 2018.) "I'm proud of you @danreynolds," she captioned a photo of the singer, with whom she shares three daughters. "I know that it's been a crazy road. It's killed us both in so many moments. Last year we killed each other and now we are rebuilding. You can become your worst self in the eye of a giant storm. You almost have to. It's a rite of passage. And the blurriest confirmation that 2019 is at least getting off to a good start," she wrote in the caption.
Is an engagement imminent for Sarah Hyland and her boyfriend, Wells Adams? "We are not engaged, but… it's definitely going to happen," the former "The Bachelorette" contestant told Us Weekly on Jan. 4. "Everyone thinks [we're] engaged right now. … We just moved in together, so I think we're still kind of, like, feeling each other out, but… it's gonna happen eventually." Added the reality star, "I gotta get the ring."
Hailee Steinfeld has denied rumors that she shaded her ex-boyfriend, Niall Horan, by sharing pal Julia Michaels' Jan. 2 Instagram Story posts about what it's like to date a narcissist. "No hidden messages my loves. Just reposted an interesting read that I'm sure some of y'all can relate to. Nothing but love!" she tweeted on Jan. 2.
Jason Tartick, who competed for Becca Kufrin's heart on Season 14 of "The Bachelorette," recently asked out former "The Bachelorette" star Kaitlyn Bristowe, who called off her three-year engagement to Shawn Booth in late 2018. And she said yes! Jason told "Entertainment Tonight" on Jan. 8 that he and Kaitlyn connected when he taped an episode of her "Off the Vine" podcast. "She is a down-to-earth, beautiful woman who has a great sense of humor. She seems very strong and knows what she wants and empowers women," he gushed of the former Bachelorette, whom he plans to take out soon when they're both in Denver.
In other Bachelor Nation news… Josh Murray landed in hot water on Jan. 7 — the day the 23rd season of "The Bachelor" debuted — when he shaded ex-fiancée Andi Dorfman on Instagram by sharing a photo of himself proposing to her (with a devil emoji covering her face) on the finale of Season 10 of "The Bachelorette" in 2014. "Haterz will say it's photoshopped … hoping the new bachelor comes away with an Angel," he captioned the since-deleted post, adding the hashtags "#seasonpremier #thebachelor #humor #isthisnotfunny #ok #sorrymom #watchingfootball2night #bye #doesanyonehaveasenseofhumorin2019." After deleting the post, he took to his Instagram Story to explain his actions: "I got hit up with a lot of messages. I haven't been looking at my social media, but apparently my post made some waves in a bad way," he said in a series of videos. "I thought it was just funny. I thought it was humorous, but apparently it wasn't very humorous. I guess I'm not very funny. I was trying to be funny in a half-hearted way, but everybody takes it so seriously and that's my fault. I should know better. Tsk tsk. … I'm getting in trouble for it. A lot of people — at least my friends — they're like, 'No, leave it up,' but I mean, if it's hurting people's feelings, I don't ever want to do that. So anyways, good talk. Glad we could have this conversation and I'll see ya out there." On Jan. 9, Andi took to Instagram to share a quote — seemingly in response to her ex, from whom she split in early 2015. "You can't control someone else's negative behavior but you can control how long you participate in it," read the meme, which she captioned, "Thank you, next. Here's to all you out there kicking a– and moving forward! I see you out there! The future is looking ✨ #wednesdaywisdom." Andi accused Josh of verbal abuse after they called it quits.
On the Jan. 8 episode of Us Weekly's "Watch With Us" podcast, Kailyn Lowry said that she and Chris Lopez — the father of her third child, son Lux — are basically a couple. "I mean, Chris and I are always together even when we're not together. If that makes any sense," she said before joking, "Don't be surprised if you see a wedding in the tabloids the next month!" Chris, who initially refused to acknowledge that he's Lux's father, will not appear on the upcoming season of "Teen Mom." Also not appearing on the new season of the MTV show? Anything regarding Kailyn's love life. "I don't go out on dates or date new people ever," she said
Lady Gabriella Windsor and financier Thomas Kingston, who announced their engagement in September, will tie the knot in the spring of 2019 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle — the same venue where Prince Harry married Duchess Meghan in May and where Princess Eugenie wed Jack Brooksbank in October. Prince and Princess Michael of Kent will reportedly foot the bill for their daughter's nuptials, which will be followed by a reception at Frogmore House (á la Harry and Meghan's wedding). But ultimately, Lady Gabriella's big day is expected to be a much smaller, family-oriented affair — only some senior royals are expected to attend. Lady Gabriella, by the way, is 51st in line to the British throne.
Last summer, Winona Ryder said that she's convinced she and Keanu Reeves "really did get married" while shooting 1992's Bram Stoker's Dracula." (A real Romanian priest officiated an entire wedding ceremony for their characters so that director Francis Ford Coppola could pick and choose which parts of the scene he wanted to include in the film.) "Once in a while, I will get a text, 'Hello, husband,'" Keanu said during a Jan. 7 appearance on "The Talk" of his frequent co-star and longtime pal. "I didn't really believe her, and then Francis Ford Coppola, the director of 'Dracula,' contacted Winona and said publicly that, yeah, that really happened, the priest did a full ceremony, and Winona and I got married." Added the actor, "Yeah, it's awesome."
Courteney Cox put a label on her relationship with Johnny McDaid on the Jan. 7 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Said the actress, "He's my partner. That's what he calls it: 'partner.' And I'm from Alabama, so you don't really say 'partner' unless you're in the same sex. … He's my guy. He's my one. But saying 'partner' is difficult for me. Like, I was in Atlanta not that long ago, and I was like, 'Oh, I'm supposed to meet my partner in Section F.' And they were like, 'Oh, I'm sure she's going to be there. Don't worry.' Not that it matters — just a different way to speak."
Connie Britton opened up about her love life (or lack thereof) on the Jan. 9 episode of E!'s "Busy Tonight," saying that pal Julia Roberts once tried to set her up with someone. "It hasn't worked out yet, but at least mama tried," said the "Dirty John" star. After host Busy Philipps said that everyone loves the "Friday Night Lights" alum, Connie fired back, "I just need one of them to be a guy who wants to marry me. … This clock is ticking. Why is it so hard?" The actress then revealed that ideally, she'd like to meet a man on a plane: "I do have this dream of meeting somebody on a plane. … That's my meet cute. Because I love traveling. I travel a lot." Just don't expect to see her on Raya, an exclusive dating app for the rich and famous. "Basically, the one with the famous people is like all Mathew Perry. God bless. I love Matthew Perry, but we're not gonna date," she joked.
Artist-director Julian Schnabel, 67, married interior designer and film editor Louise Kugelberg the week of the Golden Globes, he told Showbiz411's Roger Friedman on Jan. 6. "They've been together for some time and seem happy," wrote the film critic, noting that Louise, who's in her 30s, edited and co-wrote "At Eternity's Gate" with Julian, who directed the Vincent van Gogh biopic. According to Showbiz411, the painter has been married twice before.
Neal McDonough is so dedicated to his wife of 15 years, former model Ruvé Robertson, he refuses to shoot love scenes. "I won't kiss any other woman because these lips are meant for one woman," he told Closer weekly as part of an interview that hit the Internet on Jan. 5. It wasn't a problem when he played the husband of Nicollette Sheridan's character, Edie Britt, on "Desperate Housewives" in 2008 and 2009: "When [creator] Marc Cherry signed me, I said, 'I'm sure you know, but I won't kiss anybody,'" Neal recalled, explaining that the TV writer-producer ultimately decided he was "just going to have to write better" to make it work for the actor. But Neal has lost out on other roles because of his no-kissing policy: He got fired from the short-lived 2010 ABC series "Scoundrels" because he refused to shoot a sex scene with star Virginia Madsen. "I was [surprised], and it was a horrible situation for me. After that, I couldn't get a job because everybody thought I was this religious zealot," said Neal, a self-professed devout Catholic. Being faithful to Ruvé was worth the career setback though: "Almost 20 years, five kids and just one heck of an awesome life later, to have her as my partner in everything, I'm just the most blessed guy I know," he said. "That's why I go to church every day and say thank you to God for everything he's given me. And most importantly, thank you for giving me Ruvé, because without her, I most certainly would not be talking with you right now." The duo met in London in 2001 when he was shooting HBO's "Band of Brothers." Said Neal, "It was St. Patrick's Day and we literally bumped into each other on the street, locked eyes, and that was it. The next morning, I called the woman I was dating at the time and said, 'I'm sorry, it's not going to work out with us anymore — I just met the woman I'm going to marry.'"
During an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" that hit the Internet on Jan. 3, Nick Jonas opened up about falling in love with Priyanka Chopra: "It was kind of an instant thing. I knew once we locked in together that I had a partner for life and a teammate, someone I could walk through the good times and the bad times with, and that was the key," he said before admitting that he'd started to blush while talking about his wife.
Jennifer Lopez opened up about her relationship history during an interview for the cover of the February 2019 issue of Harper's Bazaar, which hit the Internet on Jan. 9. "For me, the relationship journey has been very up and down. But it didn't have to do with anybody else but me — it was about me figuring out me," she said. "Until you learn to love yourself, you can't completely love [someone else] in a way that is pure and true. Once you do that, you can have relationships that are based on love and respect, that are supportive and nourishing. There's an evolution there that had to happen for me. I feel like I'm in a better place now. … I've got two amazing kids and a great boyfriend. I don't have everything figured out, and everything isn't perfect. But I feel very proud that with all the things I've gone through in my personal life, I'm still optimistic and hopeful."
Ashley Graham opened up about her sex life with her husband, Justin Ervin, during an interview for the cover of ELLE's February 2019 issue, which hit the Internet on Jan. 9. When asked how she keeps their relationship fresh, she reportedly shouted, "Just have sex!" Continued the model, "Have sex all the time. Even if you don't feel like it, just have sex. I have found that if we haven't had sex, we get snippy, and then if we are having sex, we're all over each other. For us it's like, 'Oh, let's have sex.' And then we're just right back in a great mood." The duo, who met at church when she was 21, actually abstained from sex until after they tied the knot. "Something that it did for us was build up our friendship, and it also built up our trust and communication," she said. "Of course we were sexually attracted to each other; we would make out heavily. All those things were there. I wasn't worried about, 'What's sex gonna be like with him?' It was more, 'Do I trust him? Is he someone I want to be with for the rest of my life?'" She also said that when they wed, she "wasn't looking at it as settling" but rather "looking at it as building." Said Ashley, "Going into a relationship with Justin, it was like, 'Okay, what are we gonna build together?'"
