The 91-year-old is now stable and recovering, according to the New York Post.

The father of Ben Stiller is expected to be released and return home before Saturday.

"He had some sort of episode and they wanted to be cautious," a source said, countering a report that Jerry had a stroke. "There's no evidence of a stroke."

Jerry has had a long history on screen, but he's best known for playing George Costanza's father on "Seinfeld." He also appeared in "The King of Queens" and opposite his son in "Zoolander."

Whoopi Goldberg is willing to host Oscars after Kevin Hart drama: Report

The 2019 Academy Awards, set for Feb. 24, are just six weeks away and don't have a host for the first time in nearly three decades.

Gregory Pace/REX/Shutterstock

The "who will host?" drama has been making headlines ever since comedian Kevin Hart dropped out in early December after initially refusing to apologize for old homophobic comments that critics dug up on Twitter. Then, after mounting buzz that he was reconsidering, Kevin confirmed during a "Good Morning America" interview on Jan. 9 that he will not be hosting.

Now, as reports swirl claiming that at this late hour, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has no choice but to go without a single, dedicated host and instead rely on booking A-list stars to introduce the show's various segments and guide viewers through the telecast, a new report claims that veteran Oscars host Whoopi Goldberg has let it be known that she would be willing to step in to emcee if the Academy needs her.

A source tells Page Six that even though "Everyone is hoping they'll do a series of presenters and have no formal host, Whoopi really is game to do it."

Getty Images

Whoopi, a long-time panelist on "The View," hosted the Oscars in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2002.

The news comes as no huge surprise, as after Kevin stepped down in December, Whoopi publicly hinted that she'd be up for the gig.

"If you want to go hostless, that's your prerogative," she said of the Academy during an episode of "The View," as reported by ABC News. "I think it's a dumb idea. People need someone to take them through things. I think it needs to be somebody who loves the films.

TIMOTHY A. CLARY/AFP/Getty Images

"Now, I realize I may not be anybody's first choice, but…," she said, then acknowledged that she comes with baggage too. "I'm also problematic! Half of the country is really mad at me, the other half is OK until tomorrow, and then they're pissed at me!"

Oscar nominations will be announced on Jan. 22.

Kate Mara and Jamie Bell are expecting: Report

The Kate Mara and Jamie Bell household is getting bigger — the actress is reportedly pregnant.

Erik Pendzich/REX/Shutterstock

Page Six reported on Jan. 9 that the duo began telling friends they are expecting. In fact, the report claims Kate told Emily Blunt that she's pregnant after the "Mary Poppins Returns" star commented on the size of her breasts at a Golden Globes party.

Since then, news of the pregnancy has spread throughout Hollywood like wildfire.

It's believed that the "Pose" actress is five months along. At the Globes, she donned a flowing prairie skirt to help hide her alleged baby bump. Page Six claims Kate and Jamie were nervous that people would find out about the pregnancy before making an official announcement.

Jamie, who shares a 4-year-old son with Evan Rachel Wood, and Kate married in the summer of 2017 after several years of dating.

Last year, she told Shape magazine that it's "incredible" being married to her "Fantastic Four" co-star.

"I'm very protective of our marriage. All the traveling we both have to do for work can make it hard, but we have a rule that we will never go longer than two weeks without seeing each other," Kate said. "Even if we have to spend all day traveling to have just 24 hours together, it's worth it in order to have a strong relationship."

The kids from Bayside High School are not "friends forever" after all.

For years there have been rumors that most the stars of "Saved By The Bell" don't see eye to eye with Dustin Diamond, who famously starred as Screech. On Tuesday night, Mark-Paul Gosselaar said she he hasn't spoken to his on-screen best friend in more than two decades.

Ben Hider/Fox/PictureGroup/REX/Shutterstock

While on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," Mark was asked when he and Dustin last spoke. Mark laughed, shook his head and said, "1994."

As Andy laughed, Mark offered, "It's the truth! I mean, I'm not making anything up."

"Saved By The Bell" was beloved while it aired from 1989-1993. Since the show ended, Dustin hasn't exactly maintained the best relationship with his fellow costars.

Moviestore/REX/Shutterstock

In 2009, he released a book titled "Behind the Bell" that painted a dark picture of the show, alleging drug use and backstabbing. Most of the cast, including Mark, spoke out against the book, calling it fiction.

In 2014, a Lifetime movie called "The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" was released, largely based off the book.

Dustin, who has had his fair share of run-ins with the law, eventually said he didn't write the book and apologized for it.

"I will say, guys…I'm sorry that this has taken advantage of me, the book and other situations…" Dustin told "The Dr. Oz Show." "But I'm sure that you've experienced downfalls, as well, in your time and I'm still loving you guys."

Wendy Williams' fans are worried after she pushed back show return

Many of Wendy Williams' fans are concerned about her after she pushed back the much-anticipated return to her eponymous talk show.

The move comes after just over a year in which the talk show host fainted on live TV, spoke about taking pain medication and fought off rumors of marital strife.

Splash News

Initially, Wendy was set to return to TV on January 7, even triumphantly tweeting out after the new year, "3 DAYS until I'm back! New year means new shows." That tweet has since been removed.

Her new return date is set for January 14.

"After fracturing her shoulder, Wendy is on the mend and wants to return pain-free and be 200%, delivering the best show that millions of viewers tune-in to watch," a tweet said on January 5.

https://twitter.com/WendyWilliams/status/1081620490408681473

The delay isn't quelling her fans from speculation, particularly when it comes to her husband, Kevin Hunter. For over a year, there were claims that he was involved with another woman. Wendy firmly stood by her man. Recently there were unsubstantiated claims that the woman is pregnant with his child.

The timing of her delayed return isn't lost on her fans.

"I don't trust that husband," one person commented on her show's twitter account last week. Many of her fans said similar things, with many wondering if Kevin has a child on the way.

Others challenged her.

"So Wendy just make sure you keep it 200% with Hot Topic, with you and Kevin Hunter!!!," one person said. "You said you would so stay true Hun."

However, many other fans were simply supportive, telling her to take her time in her return.

"Been missing my queen!," one person said.

Another added, "Wishing you the best Wendy in all you are going through, you can get through this! Keep and stay strong Lady!!! Blessing to ya!"

Kelly Ripa says she has a 'Peter Pan' body

No matter what Kelly Ripa does in regards to her workouts, her body always appears to remain young. She's aware of that, and she doesn't particularly mind.

Evan Agostini/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock

"I was talking to a cardiologist and he said to make sure your heart beats out of your chest every day. The more you exercise, the healthier it is. And I can be honest: My body looks like Peter Pan no matter what I do," she told The Cut. "I've never been a va-va-voom woman. I like to take AKT — which is cardio-based dance classes — about four to five days a week between 3 and 5 p.m. And I like to do SoulCycle on the weekends."

The "Live With Kelly and Ryan" co-host switches it up when the weather warms up.

"In the summer, I like to run in Central Park because I think it's so gorgeous," she said.

In the past, Kelly has spoken about her love of spin classes.

"This is my version of the club," she told Style of Sport in 2016. "It's the only place I feel really comfortable and where I have sort of found my 'tribe' to coin a phrase. You know when you're in the club and the DJ gets to the really good part? You don't just pick up your shoes and go home. You go, 'I just have to get a sip of water and I'll be right back.' And that's what the double is."

Kelly is not without her critics. It seems that every time she posts a photo to Instagram, be it something showing off her body or otherwise, an online troll voices an unsolicited opinion. Kelly, though, is the queen of the clapback.

"I like trolling," she said. "I love trolling a troll. It is my favorite thing to do."

In a video posted to Instagram last March, she read a comment from someone who told her she has "too much makeup on, it makes you look like a wax figure."

She replied, "I have on way more makeup than a wax figure. I know, because I have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds and she doesn't wear this much makeup. But she didn't get to go to the Academy Awards, did she?"

Drew Barrymore says she's 'more subdued' as a mother

Drew Barrymore, once a wild child of the Hollywood scene, has changed with both age and motherhood, claiming she's "more subdued."

The actress, 43, recently sat down with This Morning to discuss her Flower Beauty makeup line and her children's love of cosmetics.

"My makeup has changed over the years. I'm a mom now, things are a little more subdued," the mother of two said.

Chelsea Lauren/Deadline/REX/Shutterstock

At home, Drew has an even more low-key approach to makeup.

"I feel confident without makeup cos I wear makeup so much for my job. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think, 'Oh my god,' but it's nice to get away from vanity and just be yourself," she said. "A smile is better than any lipstick, when a woman is laughing or leaving a workout class, that trumps for me, and I mean the other trump!"

Still, Drew's kids — Olive, 6, and Frankie, 4 — enjoy watching her get dolled up.

"My daughter has taken over, and will take a red lipstick and paint stripes on a face," Drew said. "She's so expressive and I just let her, but every parent knows what it's like to get schumtz off a kids face."

Carlos Tischler/REX/Shutterstock

Although Drew and the father of her children, Will Kopelman, split in 2016, she still praises him.

In an Instagram post in late 2017, she said her time with her ex was well worth it.

"And if that DeLorean time machine pulled up every day, I would do it all over again," she wrote alongside a picture of them in happier times. "After all, I did get my dream. 2 healthy girls. Jamie Lee Curtis blasts 'Fiji water girl' marketing ploy at Golden Globes

The internet went wild on the night of the 2019 Golden Globes when model Kelleth Cuthbert — better known as the "Fiji water girl" — popped up in the background of dozens of photos of celebrities posing on the red carpet at the big award show on Jan. 6.

But actress Jamie Lee Curtis is no fan of what turned into a viral PR success for the brand and lashed out at Fiji for their tactics after she made it clear that she didn't want to be photographed promoting any products.

Rob Latour/REX/Shutterstock

"So, my husband [Christopher Guest], who doesn't look at a lot of show business news sites, just mentioned that I was on the CNN website," Jamie wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of herself with the Fiji Water Girl in the background.

"I specifically moved away from the blatant promotions by Fiji and Moet where young women with their trays filled with their wares stood near a designated camera," Jamie explained. "I knew why there was a photographer poised there and I moved away as I said out loud that I didn't want to be doing advertising for either.

"Clearly this angle shows that I moved from her being behind me and yet from the side it still happens," Jamie added. "The sponsors of events need to get permission from people when they get them to take their picture next to products."

Kelleth and other models hired for the night were photographed holding a tray of water in pics of stars including Richard Madden, Idris Elba, Heidi Klum and her new fiancé, rocker Tom Kaulitz, Jeff Bridges, Dakota Fanning, Jim Carrey, Judy Greer, Tony Shalhoub and many others. The Internet soon put her in memes: Fans had her serving water in movies like "Bird Box," "Pulp Fiction" and "The Wolf of Wall Street," among others.

"My brain can't even comprehend what's happening or why people are interested in knowing anything about me," Kelleth told The Cut on Jan. 8, marveling at her new notoriety. "It's such a surreal experience, but I'm having a lot of fun."

She claims she didn't make a conscious decision to be so prominent and look so intense in photographs. "I think from so many years of modeling, when I hear a shutter, I just kind of give a face," she explained.

The model has a favorite photo from the night — and it's not of her and Jamie Lee. "The one where I'm photobombing Heidi Klum kissing her fiancé and showing off her rings is legendary," Kelleth said.

Neal McDonough explains why he won't do kissing scenes

When it comes to kissing scenes, his lips are sealed! But "Desperate Housewives" alum Neal McDonough is more than happy to explain why.

Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock

"I won't kiss any other woman because these lips are meant for one woman," the "Band of Brothers" and "Minority Report" actor — who's currently starring on the History channel's "Project Blue Book" — tells Closer, according to Page Six.

That "one woman" is his wife of 15 years, 6-foot-3 South African former model Ruvé Robertson, with whom Neal, 52, has five kids.

Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP/REX/Shutterstock

Neal and Ruvé randomly met in London in 2001 when he was shooting HBO's "Band of Brothers." "It was St. Patrick's Day and we literally bumped into each other on the street, locked eyes, and that was it," he told Closer. "The next morning, I called the woman I was dating at the time and said, 'I'm sorry, it's not going to work out with us anymore — I just met the woman I'm going to marry.'"

Some projects, such as "Desperate Housewives" (he played the husband of Nicollette Sheridan's character on two dozen episodes in 2008 and 2009) have been accommodating with Neal's unusual — for Hollywood — request.

Alberto Terenghi/IPA/REX/Shutterstock

"When [creator] Marc Cherry signed me, I said, 'I'm sure you know, but I won't kiss anybody,'" Neal recalled. "He was like, 'But this is 'Desperate Housewives!' I said, 'I know.' He paused for about five seconds and said, 'All right, I'm just going to have to write better.' And we had a great time."

But Neal's no-kissing stance has meant that other jobs — and the lucrative paychecks that come with them — are off-limits. Page Six explains that he lost out on an estimated $1 million role on the 2010 ABC show "Scoundrels" — he got let go after three days of shooting — because he was expected to act in sex scenes with beautiful star Virginia Madsen.

Broadimage/REX/Shutterstock

"I was [surprised], and it was a horrible situation for me. After that, I couldn't get a job because everybody thought I was this religious zealot," Neal — a devout Catholic — told Closer, admitting, "I am very religious. I put God and family first, and me second. That's what I live by. It was hard for a few years. But I was not going to lose the fight. And it worked. My career has been phenomenal."

Since then, the blonde 6-foot actor and his piercing blue eyes have gone on to appear in everything from TV's "Justified," "Mob City," "Suits," "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow" to the big screen's "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Proud Mary."

Josh Brolin celebrated five years of sobriety on Tuesday by sharing a throwback photo of his partying days to Instagram and describing in great detail what it was like to be drunk.

It wasn't pretty.

Broadimage/REX/Shutterstock

"Drunk: when you think you're having a rip roaring time and the next morning you wake up and your brain has broken into a frenzied beehive and your body is shattered shards of sharp glass desperately searching for what fits where and your spirit is being eaten by worms with great white bloodied teeth," he captioned the snap that seemed to show him intoxicated at a bar.

Josh, 50, continued his detailed description.

"Your heart has shriveled into a black prune churning your intestines to the point where dysentery feels attractive and you can't remember anything you did so you roll out of bed over last night's urine and you dial your best friend's phone number because you recall him lifting you over his head, your whole self, before you hit and broke through the drywall," he wrote, "and, you think, a large aquarium and the phone on the other end rings and he picks it up, that clambering for a phone, the clumsiness of a hardline, and you say: 'What did I do last night?!' and he answers, after a great pause: '…Dude…'"

He captioned his photo with the hashtag that said "5 years."

Josh swore off alcohol in late 2012 after he got into a fight outside a bar in Southern California.

Kylie Jenner's daughter Stormi is still opening Christmas gifts: See what she got

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott's daughter, Stormi Webster, is a very lucky little girl.

Early on Jan. 8, Kylie shared photos and clips on her Instagram Story revealing, "my baby still opening Xmas gifts." She then shows an excited Stormi tearing wrapping paper and delighting in her presents from Kylie's pals.

First up is a Barbie Styling Head from Kylie's friend Elizabeth Woods, who's right there on the phone on FaceTime watching Stormi as she excitedly points at her new toy and babbles as she sees the doll's smiling face. (Fan accounts captured the clips.)

Next up, Stormi unwraps a Barbie Pediatrician doll and playset that comes with a child Barbie figure. Kylie squeals with delight as the wrapping paper comes off the gift from pal Jodie Woods, marveling that the doctor doll comes "with a little baby — that's you, Stormi!"

https://www.instagram.com/p/BsXYCiLByrI/

Kylie also revealed on her Instagram Story that she just took Stormi to one of mama's favorite restaurants — Nobu in Malibu. "Stormi's first Nobu," the reality TV star and makeup mogul captioned a pic of a plate of sashimi on a candle-lit table with a view of the Pacific Ocean.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BsXXfSsBrUT/

A day earlier, Kylie — who'd just returned from a snowboarding trip with her friends — revealed some of her daughter's big stuffed animal collection when she shared a snapshot of Stormi digging into her plush stash, which is housed in multiple white woven baskets.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BsWVNTmhRgY/

Even with the holidays dragging on, Kylie admits she absolutely cannot wait for Stormi's birthday in a few weeks: The little girl turns 1 on Feb. 1. "P.S. already wrapping Stormi's bday gifts I'm too excited," Kylie captioned a pic of a package covered in brightly-colored patterned paper tied up with strings of pink pom-pom garland.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BsXYI6Jh7n-/

In December, Kylie took to Twitter to lament that her little girl is growing up so fast. "My baby turns 1 soon 😫😫😫," she wrote. A fan asked if she'd started planning Stormi's birthday party yet. "Yesss. Can't wait," Kylie responded.

When another fan said they wanted the Kylie Cosmetics mogul to release a Stormi makeup palette, Kylie said she was open to it. "I'll do a stormi collection when she can pick her own colors only if she wants too," she qualified.

During an October Q&A session on Snapchat, Kylie revealed that she wants to give Stormi a sibling — hopefully a sister — in the future. "I want another baby, but when is the question, and I'm definitely not ready right this second," Kylie said, as reported by People. "When I do, I would love to share more of that with you guys."

Kylie also revealed that Stormi is obsessed with her rapper father. "They have this crazy connection and she's definitely a daddy's girl. It's cute to watch," she explained of Travis and Stormi. "When Dad's around, I'm not even there. It's like she doesn't see me, but it's cool."

'Law & Order' creator and wife separating, multimillions on the line

Legendary producer Dick Wolf and his third wife, Noelle, are separating after 12 years of marriage, and millions upon millions are at stake.

Brian To/Variety/REX/Shutterstock

TMZ reported that Dick, the creator of the "Law & Order" franchise, filed the paperwork in December 2018, but he isn't seeking a full-fledged divorce as of now. By filing for merely a separation and not a divorce, his assets are immediately separated from hers. However, Noelle also filed separation documents — doing so late last week — but she's asking for spousal support.

That's where things get really interesting. TMZ notes that Dick makes between $10 and $15 million per month. In his legal documents, Dick noted that there is a prenuptial agreement.

Dick and Noelle married in 2006. During the course of their marriage, he created the hugely successful "Chicago" franchise ("Chicago Fire," "Chicago P.D.," "Chicago Med," and "Chicago Justice.")

The couple shares two children, ages 8 and 11.

Noelle does not appear to be contesting the prenup, TMZ notes, adding that it will have no impact on child support, which is likely to be massive.

The producer's lawyer told TMZ, "The lawyers for the parties are in the process of negotiations."

When Dick split with his second wife, Christine, the legal battle went on for 12 years, although he was married to her for 22 years.

The report claims Kate, 45, and Pete, 25, sat closely together on a couch outside on a smoking patio for about an hour, looking "very cozy."
