Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo, who got engaged on the finale of Season 13 of "The Bachelorette" in 2017, tied the knot at the Royalton Suites Cancun in Mexico on Aug. 24. According to People magazine, which published exclusive photos from the nuptials, the bride donned a Randi Rahm gown when she said "I do" in front of Bachelor Nation's Kristina Schulman, Astrid Loch and Bibiana Julian. After the wedding, the duo jetted off to Santorini, Greece, for their honeymoon. Rachel took to her Instagram Story on Aug. 27 to explain why she and her new husband have been "a little bit off the grid." Said the reality star, "That's kind of how we wanted it. We wanted our wedding to be really private — as private as it could be — because we wanted to be in control of what we were able to share with you guys."

Cassie took to Instagram on Aug. 27 to announce that she and Alex Fine, with whom she's expecting a baby girl, are engaged. "My favorite day ever!" she captioned a video depicting the proposal, which took place at the Compton Cowboys headquarters in Los Angeles on Aug. 24. "This moment will always be so special to me. I get to marry my best friend in the whole world. How am I so lucky! #mrsfine," the professional bull rider captioned a photo of the proposal on his own Instagram page.

Bethenny Frankel sparked rumors that she'd secretly married her boyfriend, Paul Bernon, when she tweeted on Aug. 23 that she quit "The Real Housewives of New York City" because "I'm the only one that is actually married…that's how crazy this ride is." But here's what she actually meant: She and Jason Hoppy are still legally married more than six and a half years after she first filed for divorce. Jason's attorney and the judge overseeing the divorce case confirmed their marital status to Page Six: "Jason and Bethenny are still technically married," said the lawyer, who went on to allege that "while Jason has been pushing for years to have the judge sign the divorce judgment, Bethenny's lawyers have objected." Said the judge, "It's true that no judgment has been issued. It is not true that one side has objected. The judgment was never issued because an order of protection was issued by the Criminal Court which impacted the previously agreed to joint custody arrangement and Frankel subsequently brought an application to modify the agreement." The reality star got a restraining order against her ex in 2017 after he was charged with harassing and stalking her.
According to TMZ, JWoww and Roger Mathews finalized their divorce on Aug. 29. "Jenni and Roger have reached an amicable conclusion and finalized their divorce. They remain devoted to co-parenting their children in a happy and healthy environment and they both wish each other the best," the reality star's rep told the webloid.
Us Weekly reported on Aug. 23 that, according to a source, Kendra Wilkinson is dating DJ Friese. "They are not exclusive," said the source, noting that the reality star is "having fun" but isn't taking things with the billionaire philanthropist "too seriously" just yet. Radar Online broke the news about the new romance, reporting that Kendra has actually appeared on DJ's private Instagram account several times in recent months.
During a brief Aug. 28 chat with TMZ, "Hot Felon" Jeremy Meeks said that he and Chloe Green are "still together" … in spite of the fact that she was caught on camera making out with Rommy Gianni on a yacht in the Mediterranean earlier this month. "That ain't nothing," he said of his girlfriend's PDA-packed outing with the polo player.
Kaitlynn Carter joined new love Miley Cyrus at the 2019 MTV VMAs on Aug. 26. According to a Page Six spy, the pop star gave her rumored girlfriend "a sweet kiss" before she took the stage to perform "Slide Away," a new song purportedly inspired by her breakup from Liam Hemsworth. After the show, the two women were photographed walking hand-in-hand alongside Miley's mother, Tish Cyrus, outside a New York City nightclub. According to an Us Weekly source, the pair are "so into each other and attracted to each other." Added the insider, "They're having a lot of fun together and love spending time together."
Meanwhile, Us Weekly reported on Aug. 28 that, according to a source, Liam Hemsworth filed for divorce so quickly because he was disappointed to see that Miley Cyrus was being "so open about her relationship" with Kaitlynn Carter. "He thought they could work it out, but all those pictures of her and Kaitlynn ended that," said the source. "Liam comes from a very conservative family and his family was freaked out by it."
As for the other corner in the love pentagon… Brody Jenner and Josie Canseco are also getting serious: According to an Us Weekly source, the reality star "referred to her as his girlfriend" during his birthday party in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Aug. 24. The blonde beauty reportedly joined the reality star on stage during his DJ set, and they weren't shy about being "very affectionate" with one another. The duo also celebrated Brody's birthday with his mother, Linda Thompson, and brother, Brandon Jenner, in Hollywood on Aug. 21. On Aug. 26, Brody and Josie went Instagram official: He posted several photos and videos of her on his Instagram Story during a night out in New York City.
Things were more serious between Harry Styles and his former love, Camille Rowe, than we were previously led to believe, the singer revealed during an interview with Rolling Stone that hit the Internet on Aug. 26, admitting that his upcoming album is "all about having sex and feeling sad." Explained the former One Direction star, "It's not like I've ever sat and done an interview and said, 'So I was in a relationship, and this is what happened.' … Because, for me, music is where I let that cross over. It's the only place, strangely, where it feels right to let that cross over." The "Dunkirk" actor's friend and collaborator Tom Hull also shared an anecdote with Rolling Stone about Harry's relationship with the French model, from whom he split in the summer of 2018 after about a year of coupledom. "He went through this breakup that had a big impact on him," said Tom. "I turned up on day one in the studio, and I had these really nice slippers on. His ex-girlfriend that he was really cut up about, she gave them to me as a present — she bought slippers for my whole family. We're still close friends with her. I thought, 'I like these slippers. Can I wear them — is that weird?' … He said, 'Whaaaat? How could you wear those?' During an interview with Porter Edit that hit the Internet on Aug. 23, Kirsten Dunst explained why she and her fiancé, Jesse Plemons, have yet to wed: "We're about as married as you can get," she said. "We have a kid together. My mom was like, 'But when are you guys getting married?' And I said, 'Mom, I'm not going to get married when I'm pregnant. I want to have fun and have a drink. John Travolta called his former "Look Who's Talking" co-star Kirstie Alley his "soulmate" during an Aug. 22 interview with Us Weekly. When asked if he'd be interested in starring in the recently announced reboot of the 1989 comedy, the Oscar nominee fired back, "I would do anything with Kirstie. So let's see what happens." Back in 2012, Kirstie called John the love of her life.
Although they technically got engaged on the finale of Season 12 of "The Bachelorette" in 2016, Jordan Rodgers proposed to JoJo Fletcher for a second time on Aug. 24, he revealed on Instagram the following day. "I love @joelle_fletcher with all my heart!! I always wanted to re-propose, with no cameras, no producers, no drama…just us," he captioned a photo of himself and his fiancée showing off her new engagement ring. "Our first engagement was so real, and meant so much to us both, but as we start to actually plan our wedding for next year I wanted to do it all over again, OUR WAY! So I bought a new ring, made a plan (that almost fell apart multiple times), and got down on one knee all over again. Us Weekly reported on Aug. 26 that Brooke Burke is dating real estate agent Scott Rigsby, and their relationship is "newish." According to a spy, the duo looked "very into each other" during an outing at the Little Beach House Malibu on Aug. 24 — one of several public outings this month for the pair. But the very same day that the dating news hit the Internet, Brooke was seen locking lips with a different man while rocking a bikini on the beach in Malibu. (See the photos here.)
Scheana Shay and Robby Hayes — who were first linked in early 2018 and recently reunited at the Aug. 15 launch party for Chrissy Teigen's Quay Australia sunglasses collection — were caught on camera making out at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas on Aug. 25. But that doesn't mean they're back together, the "Vanderpump Rules" star told Us Weekly on Aug. 28: "We're neighbors, so it's like super easy to hang out or fly to Vegas together, whatever. It was our friend's 30th birthday," she said. "We hang out a lot, but I don't know, there's something about, like, being in other cities with him and then we just end up making out. … [We] just can't super, super cross the line. … That didn't work out so well last time. We just make out when we're drunk." She went on to say that the Bachelor Nation personality — who said back in April that she's "not my type" — is "hot," has "good abs" and is a "good kisser." Continued Scheana, "We just have a lot of fun together. We had, like, it wasn't even a falling out. It was just like both of us being so stubborn. I'm like, 'Well, you didn't text me back,' and he's like, 'Well you didn't check in with me.' It was like the dumbest fight ever." Eventually, a mutual friend helped them reconcile: "He came over and two seconds later, we were fine. We watched the episode of ['Vanderpump Rules'] of our date together and everything was good," she said.
Ben Zorn — who competed for Kaitlyn Bristowe's heart on Season 11 of "The Bachelorette" in 2015 — took to Instagram on Aug. 25 to announce that he's engaged to his love of two years, Stacy Santilena. "She said yes!" he captioned a slideshow of two photos depicting the proposal, which went down in North Lake Tahoe in California on Aug. 23. "Friday 8/23 I asked this beautiful woman to marry me on the shores of Lake Tahoe, CA a place that's always meant so much to us. @ssantilena you are my best friend and I'm so lucky I get to call you mine! I couldn't be more excited to spend my future with you! Let the Wedding planning begin!"
Javi Marroquin took to Instagram on Aug. 26 to offer a publicly apology to his fiancée, Lauren Comeau, after they got into a headline-making spat earlier this month that may have ended their engagement. "Lauren, I'm sorry for my mistakes, I'm sorry I broke your heart, I'm sorry I disrespected you. I'm sorry I took you for granted," he wrote. "I could say sorry for a million other things but I'm sorry will never be enough. I hurt the one person that I love the most. I will do everything in my power to become a better man and hopefully one day you can forgive me. I'll do anything to have you home." He went on to apologize to his two sons — the "Teen Mom 2" alum has a baby boy, Eli, with Lauren and an older son, Lincoln, with ex-wife Kailyn Lowry — for failing "to show you both what it is to be a man." Continued the father of two, "I promise you both my actions will not reflect on how you will treat women, let alone the one you love." He then vowed to be a better example for his kids and to "no longer let any of my loved ones down." Radar Online reported on Aug. 22 that things have been rocky between Lauren and Javi since she found him naked in bed with another woman at their home in Delaware on Aug. 17.
Lindsey Vonn and her love of a little more than a year, P.K. Subban, are engaged, they told Vogue as part of an Aug. 23 exclusive. The hockey player popped the question with a giant emerald ring (because it's his birthstone and green is her favorite color) at home in front of the Olympic skier's three dogs. "I wanted it to be very personal and about how serious I'm taking it," he told Vogue of the proposal. "It's about us and our family. I kept it close to the chest." According to Vogue, P.K. picked up the ring from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills on Aug. 14. "I got the ring and said, 'You know what? I'm just going to do it [at] home,'" he dished. "Everything kind of came together on that day. Everyone says the stars aligned — well, it was actually a full moon. I was worried because I knew she would want to be dressed up and not in her pajamas, and it just so happened she had a business meeting, so she was fully dressed up." The Olympian, who said that she "wouldn't change the ring at all," went on to say that they're in no rush to wed: "We're in such a busy time right now. We're trying to move to New Jersey," she said. "I just want to enjoy the moment and the engagement. We're not in a big hurry to get married. It kind of depends on his playing schedule, and when we have time to sit down and go through it. I don't want to stress him out because he has a big season coming." Gushed P.K., "Lindsey's the best thing that's ever happened to me. There are people in life that deserve to be with good people. They have that person who takes care of them and makes them smile, and she deserves to be with someone who loves her more than anything else in the world, and I do." Added Lindsey of her love, "Right off the bat, I knew he was different. But I'd been married before, so I was pretty hesitant to let myself think that I could find someone that I would want to be married to again. According to The Blast, Dara Mir filed to divorce former "Shahs of Sunset" star Lilly Ghalichi in Los Angeles on Aug. 26. The pair, who have a daughter, tied the knot in May 2017.
Us Weekly reported on Aug. 28 that Gina Kirschenheiter's estranged husband, Matthew Kirschenheiter, has filed legal documents contesting the amount of child support the court ordered him to pay her earlier this month on the grounds that she allegedly misrepresented her current income. He claims that Gina actually made $86K in 2018, which is "almost three times what she represented" in her previous legal paperwork. He also alleges that she makes $10K per month through endorsement deals and appearance fees, while he's not currently making any money at all. (He's been unemployed since he got fired after his employers found out that Gina got a domestic violence restraining order against him earlier this year.)
The Aug. 27 episode of "Bachelor in Paradise" centered around Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone's wedding: The duo tied the knot in Mexico in June 2019 — a year after they got engaged on the finale of Season 5 of the reality show. On Aug. 28, Krystal took to Instagram to explain why she and her hubby decided to invite ABC cameras to capture their nuptials: "Deciding to have a televised wedding wasn't an easy decision for us," she captioned a photo of herself and Chris on their wedding day. "Fears from the past surfaced where we cracked under pressure and weren't able to show our best selves. Those times were the darkest and scariest moments we've ever had. But we decided that we wouldn't let fear dictate our future anymore.. because we have each other and have learned to trust in one another. Garrett Yrigoyen and Becca Kufrin, who got engaged on the finale of Season 14 of "The Bachelorette" in 2018, sparked rumors that there's trouble in paradise when he decided to stay home instead of joining her at Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone's wedding in Mexico back in June. The former star of "The Bachelorette" took to her Instagram Story on Aug. 27, the same day the wedding was televised on "Bachelor in Paradise," to explain that they're totally fine: "We still are individuals and we still sometimes like to do our own thing," she said. "He had a surprise birthday party the weekend of the wedding, so he couldn't come, which was fine because I was able to catch up with [my other friends]. … It's ok to do your own thing in a relationship sometimes. Sorry, guys. You know we can't do everything together — as much as I want to."
It's been less than two months since Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright tied the knot, and the "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars are already facing breakup rumors after Jax was photographed out and about without his wedding ring on Aug. 26. During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet two days later, Brittany explained that her hubby often removes his ring before workouts so that he "doesn't mess it up." Added the reality star, "I love his ring, I love seeing it on him. … He's always wearing it. He hasn't lost it or anything yet. I was really worried about that. … He's even gonna get workout rings that he can wear to the gym." She went to describe how she and her husband deal with the split rumors: "We have to laugh about stuff because, I mean, there are articles saying that our marriage is in trouble and stuff like that. I'm just like, 'Oh my goodness,'" she said. "We have been so solid. I don't even worry about it because as long as we're happy and we're doing good, that's all that matters." Brittany then described married life as "awesome." Said the newlywed, "I think we've settled in very well. I'm just so excited. I love Jax so much so everything's been going great. During an Aug. 22 interview with Us Weekly, Madison Lecroy dished on her complicated relationship with "Southern Charm" co-star Austen Kroll: "We haven't had any benefits lately, so I would say we're friends right now," she said when asked if they're friends with benefits. "[Our] relationship is complicated, obviously. He has said that multiple times. I think right now he's focusing on his beer [brand], which is so great. I'm not trying to be in any way … a distraction. I don't want to say that we wouldn't revisit this — because we do feel a type of way about each other." She then dished on the things she likes most about Austen: "I love the fact that he has dimples. I like how tall he is. I love his personality. He just makes you feel very welcome. It's just easy, I guess." The blonde beauty added that she hopes "to be married again one day" but that she's "in no rush" because she's already a mom and doesn't have to worry about a ticking clock to have kids. She told PeopleTV's "Reality Check," meanwhile, that she always has "hope" that she and Austen will end up together. "It's just hard not getting it right," she said. "We care about each other a lot. He's been my best friend for a year and half, even though we've done a lot of messed up things to each other. We try to find ourselves back where we always end up. Becky Lynch took to Instagram on Aug. 22 to announce that she and Seth Rollins are engaged. "Happiest day of my life. For the rest of my life," she captioned a photo of herself and her love showing off her engagement bling while posing together on a rocky beach. The wrestlers went public with their relationship in May and made their red carpet debut at the MTV Movie & TV Awards in June.
During an interview with The New York Times Magazine the hit the Internet on Aug. 26, Wendy Williams opened up about her divorce from Kevin Hunter, implying that they may have been able to move past his affair if he hadn't welcomed a daughter with his mistress. "Kevin had a major indiscretion that he will have to deal with for the rest of his life. An indiscretion that I will not deal with," said the hostess. "I never thought that I would be in this position. I'm a very forgiving person, but there's one thing that I could never be a part of, and that one thing happened." She then clarified that the one thing she could never be a part of is the baby: "Kevin has a daughter," she said. "He will always be my family, because we have a 19-year-old son, and we were together for 25 years and married for 21. But there was no vacillating. I'm out. That's all I can say. People want me to hate and scream and talk. I won't," she continued. "The main reason I won't talk badly about Kevin is that he was my first true love. I will not have people talk badly. I talk filthy about him, but that is when I get in my apartment and the door is closed and I am talking to myself in the mirror." She then explained why she chose to live in a sober house earlier this year: "My husband was about to have a baby, and I knew that I was about to divorce. I knew that there would be headlines. I had to process it so that once I came out, I came out on top," she said.
During an interview with The Guardian that hit the Internet on Aug. 24, Taylor Swift explained why she's kept her relationship with Joe Alywn so private: "I've learned that if I do [talk about it], people think it's up for discussion, and our relationship isn't up for discussion," she said. "If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we'd be talking about it — but it's just that it goes out into the world. "365 days. i love you," the actress captioned a photo of herself kissing her beau on a boat. "I love you," the actor captioned a shot of them cuddling during a different boat ride.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez aren't in wedding-planning mode yet, the singer-actress told "Extra" on Aug. 25. "We haven't really planned it yet," she said of their upcoming nuptials. "You know, the rest of this year, I have another movie, I have a TV show, I have kids, I have an album, I have a lot of things. … Alex has baseball for the rest of the year." She went on to say that although they're "talking about" their eventual nuptials, nothing has been decided yet — not even whether or not they'll have a church wedding: "I don't know," she said. "I have no info for you yet."
In other wedding-planning news… During an Aug. 27 interview with "Entertainment Tonight," Wells Adams said that he and his new fiancée, Sarah Hyland, are in no rush to wed: "Everyone is so invested in the next thing. Like when we were dating, everyone was like, 'When are you moving in?' And when we moved in, everyone was like, 'When are you going to get engaged?' …It's like, hold on, don't forget that the destination isn't what it's about, the journey is what's fun," he said. "We're, like, a month into being engaged and I've never been engaged before and I assume I'm never going to be again, so I kind of want to just enjoy this little time. … Also, Sarah is going to be, like, Pinterest boards and vision boards and a lot of Elmer's glue is going to be involved. So I think we're just holding off on that." One thing they don't need to wait to figure out? Whether or not to televise their nuptials. "I would never do that," said the Bachelor Nation star.
During an interview with Us Weekly that hit the Internet on Aug. 28, Ben Higgins hinted that he's thinking marriage when it comes to his long-distance girlfriend, Jessica Clarke. "I don't think I'd be dating anybody if I didn't see it being a part of the future. … I'm 30, I'm ready, I'm excited about it," he said. "There would be no reason for me to date anybody if it wasn't something I believe was the real thing." He went on to say that he and his Nashville-based love would likely get engaged before she'd relocate to Denver to be with him full time: "Jess is really wise, and so she wants to make sure that we're taking the right steps [at] the right time," he said. "I think that's smart. I think that's wise. And so those are steps that we're talking about and figuring out how we can best do that." For now, the former star of "The Bachelor" and his girlfriend talk on the phone or on FaceTime at least twice a day to make their relationship work. "Long-distance has its benefits because it forces us to be intentional with our time," he said. During an Aug. 28 interview with Us Weekly, Dog the Bounty Hunter said that "there will never be another Mrs. Dog" following the death of his wife, Beth Chapman, in June. "We both said, 'If I die, you can have a man. 10 [men], I don't care. But don't marry one,'" he recalled. "She said, 'Don't take my name off your chest, Dog. Do not get married.' … Don't worry, I will not get married. I still put the pillows in the middle of the bed. This morning I thought she was still there." She then listed the qualities she's looking for in a partner: "Somebody with a nice sense of humor that's kind of athletic," she said. "I want them to be able to climb with me.
